Chapter 1615 Inquiring about Siwei (Seeking monthly votes at the beginning of the month)
"Have you encountered this situation before?" He asked.
“No,” Reed shook his head. “Ordinary anomalies don’t change their own form, but an anomaly space directly creates another dimension. This is the first time I’ve seen something erase the entire building like this.”
"However, since it is an anomaly, anything is possible. It would be strange if there were no oddities in the anomaly. It just means that the possibility that this anomaly is a level 1 anomaly has increased."
"How can we determine if it's a Level 1 anomaly?" He Ao asked, puzzled.
“There’s no way to be sure,” Reed shook his head. “The only way is to go in and take a look. Anything strange can happen, and it’s not impossible that a Level 2 anomaly has some characteristics that look like Level 1.”
"However, I will report this unusual information to the chairman and see what he says,"
He paused slightly, "However, according to the association's practice, we will probably need to conduct an investigation to determine the level of threat of this anomaly. After all, we cannot classify an anomaly based on mere speculation."
He sighed softly, "Exploration is the most reliable method. The more dangerous the anomaly, the earlier we explore it, the earlier we grasp the rules, and the more people we can save."
"Isn't there any item whose anomaly level can be determined?" He asked slowly.
“No,” Reed shook his head. “If an anomaly can be included in the regularity of detection, then it is not an anomaly.”
As he spoke, he clicked on an aerial photograph taken seven years ago. "What's that thing on the orphanage wall in this picture? It looks a bit like an electric fence?"
“It’s an electric grid,” Heo said, looking at the photo, some scenes flashing through his mind, “with high voltage running through it.”
"To prevent what?" Reed turned to look at Heo with some confusion. "To prevent the children from 'escaping'?"
He Ao nodded slightly.
Reed fell silent for a moment.
“The orphanage would occasionally have outdoor classes, where the teachers would take us out to stroll around Loringer Street to prevent serious psychological problems, but there would only be a few children each time, and we would mostly just go to the bakery next to the orphanage,”
He said calmly, "Most of the time, no one can leave the orphanage."
"The bakery, the one you just went into?" Reed vaguely remembered, and he looked at Heo, asking, "How did you get out?"
"There's only one place in the orphanage that doesn't have a high-voltage power grid, and that's the main gate," He Ao said, raising his gaze as if lost in some kind of memory.
"But the gate is very high and is usually locked with iron chains. There is also a young and strong security guard who takes turns standing guard in the guard booth near the gate, 24 hours a day."
"However, perhaps because no children have ever escaped, they are not very vigilant. Every time new students are welcomed, the director will improve the meals, but there are not enough people in the kitchen, so the security guards at the door are occasionally called over to help."
"You ran away while the security guards were helping?" Reed asked.
“Yes, everyone was setting up for the new students that day. I didn’t have any friends at the orphanage, and the teachers didn’t care about me. I sneaked out in a corner,” He Ao nodded. “The door was locked, but the security guard left the key in the guard booth. I climbed in through the window, took the key, opened the door, and left.”
He shrugged. "After opening the door, I put the key back and locked the door when I left, but they didn't seem to notice that I had left."
"Don't they have CCTV cameras at the orphanage?" Reed asked, puzzled.
“Yes,” He Ao said slowly, “but the one directly opposite the door was smashed by some kids throwing stones at it the night before. The security camera repairman hasn’t come yet. When I saw the camera was smashed, I realized that this was a good time to leave.”
He gazed at the old buildings seen from above in the photograph and fell into a brief silence.
“You’re very lucky,” Reed remarked. “The orphanage caught fire that night.”
“Perhaps it really was just good luck,” He Ao paused again, then turned to look at Reed. “Have you already assigned people to monitor the anomaly at the Triple Tower?”
“Yes,” Reed nodded slightly, “it’s completely sealed off.”
He looked at He Ao, "Do you still think there's something wrong with the anomaly in that endless corridor?"
“Some simple guesses, I don’t know if they’re right or wrong,” He Ao shook his head, “but maybe we can get some information about the orphanage.”
“I can give you permission to cross the blockade,” Reed said, looking at Howo. “Then how will you get out?”
He looked at him and smiled, "So I have to go home first."

Morin Building
He Ao held a large box in one hand and carried a plastic bag in the other, while pressing the fingerprint lock on the door with the other hand. With a soft "beep," the red light started flashing.
At this moment, He Ao remembered that the door had been blown up last night, and after Siwei restored it, there were no fingerprints left on it.
He Ao raised his hand, ready to knock on the door.

Just then, with a soft click, the door lock unlocked from the inside.
He Ao paused slightly, gripped the doorknob, and slowly pushed it forward, looking into the room. "Siwei?!"
boom--
A shadow swept across the sky as it approached from afar, landing on his face like a facehugger.
"Big guy! I knew it was you coming back!" Siwei hugged He Ao's head and said excitedly.
"Wait, I'm a little dizzy," He Ao said helplessly, lifting the little doll that was holding its head off and shaking his head. "Your sudden attack really caught me off guard."
He closed the door with his foot, walked to the dining table, placed Siwei on it, and then placed the large box on the table as well.
Sisi climbed directly onto the long, large box and asked curiously, "Big guy, what did you buy?"
"A very dangerous weapon!" He suddenly appeared beside her, startling her.
Siwei shrank back and sat down on the edge of the box. "How dangerous is it?"
Then she saw Heo start to open the plastic bag on the table, revealing two sandwiches inside.
"Sandwich!" She jumped up and picked up the sandwich.
Then she remembered something, looked up at He Ao, and asked, "Is this for me?"
"Yes!" He Ao nodded slightly. "I bought it on my way back."
He just had Reed drop him off downstairs in a helicopter, and then bought it at the convenience store downstairs.
"Thank you!" Siwei hugged the sandwich, chuckled, quickly tore it open, and bit into a corner of the sandwich.
Heo opened the sandwich, took a bite, looked at Siwei, and suddenly asked, "Siwei, if someone needs your help, will you leave this house?"
