Out of control and sinking

Chapter 186 What Direction

"Tsk." Bo Ye said with a playful tone, "Next time you can skip wearing lipstick. You won't get poisoned from eating too much lipstick, will you?"

Jiang Ruan touched up her lipstick, snapped the cap back on, slipped her slender, soft hand into her bag, and turned to smile: "Yes, my dear President Bo, not only will you be poisoned, but you'll be poisoned to the bone."

She raised her hand and placed it on his neatly tailored suit, her fingertips slowly sliding down to his chest.

The fabric was very thin, and the temperature of her fingers was clearly visible.

Jiang Ruan was about to speak when Bo Ye grabbed her hand, rendering her immobile. The man's Adam's apple bobbed twice, and his dark eyes, filled with unfathomable lust, stared at her as he hissed, "Don't seduce me."

"If you push me too far, I won't hesitate to take care of you."

Here?
Jiang Ruan never expected him to say that, her eyes widened instantly, and her cheeks flushed red.

She struggled to pull her hand back and cursed, "Have you no shame? This is a public place."

He's becoming increasingly unscrupulous.

Bo Ye gave a soft "heh".

"Who hooked up with whom first?"

The waiter only started serving the food when he saw that there was no movement from this side, and the whole process was quiet.

That was the end of their conversation.

After serving the dishes, the waiters said goodbye to Bo Ye and then left.

The boss had instructed that Bo Ye prefers quiet when eating and doesn't like to be disturbed.

Jiang Ruan was really hungry. Looking at the tempting steak, she picked up her knife and fork and started eating.

Eating meat in big bites, it's so delicious.

In contrast, Bo Ye cut the food elegantly and ate slowly and methodically, displaying a very gentlemanly demeanor.

Bo Ye took a bite of his steak, his gaze fixed on her face. A slight twitch appeared at the corner of his lips as he couldn't help but ask, "How long has it been since you've had meat?"

Did he mistreat her?
So hungry.

Jiang Ruan said, "What? I didn't even eat a full breakfast, okay? I was in a rush to get to work, so I just grabbed a bite and left. Lunch wasn't good, so I only ate a little bit, and then I've been busy until now."

"This steak is delicious, very well made," Jiang Ruan praised.

Bo Ye responded, "Mm."

Seeing how much she enjoyed her food, his appetite immediately returned.

I picked up a piece of shrimp for her: "Try this, it's their signature dish."

Jiang Ruan picked it up and took a bite. It was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a sweet and sour lime flavor. It suited her taste perfectly.

Jiang Ruan's eyes lit up: "Delicious. It tastes a bit like Thai shrimp, but it's fried, and it's even more fragrant than Thai shrimp."

She ate with smacking sounds.

Bo Ye kept putting food on her plate.

It's no exaggeration to say that each dish on the table was actually quite small, but most of it ended up in Jiang Ruan's stomach.

Jiang Ruan was completely full.

She put down her fork, rubbed her tummy, and wiped her mouth with a napkin: "I'm full."

Upon hearing this, Bo Ye replied softly, "Mm."

Then he put down the serving chopsticks he was holding.

He was already full.

Bo Ye doesn't eat much; usually, one steak is enough for him. But today, he ate quite a bit with her.

Seeing her enjoying her meal made him feel good too.

Bo Ye sat upright with his shoulders ramrod straight, his posture very proper, and gentlemanly wiped his mouth with a napkin.

Jiang Ruan's voice came from beside him: "Bo Ye, I've noticed you've been acting a bit strange lately."

Bo Ye's eyes flickered slightly.

Turning his head, he saw Jiang Ruan resting her chin on her hands, cupping her face and staring at him expectantly.

Her cheeks were rosy, and her eyes were dark and bright.

They're so adorable.

Bo Ye frowned and said coldly, "Something's not right?"

"That's a bit much," Jiang Ruan said. "I was talking about me."

"Is there?" Bo Ye asked indifferently.

“Yes,” Jiang Ruan said. “You never used to be like this. You would never go out to eat with me, you would never stay home with me, and you would never help me pick out clothes.”

She smiled and said, "Hey, haven't you noticed that you're increasingly heading in the same direction?"

Bo Ye remained expressionless: "Which direction?"
