Chapter 902 The Routing Dragon Rider Commander

Chapter 902 The Routing Dragon Rider Commander

"What is this thing?" Ravian's lips trembled as he asked. The terrifying pressure was more terrifying than any dragon he had ever seen. No dragon in the kingdom could compare to it!

(Doss's aura after using the power of the ancestors was at the level of a Dragon Emperor, but he did not use his full power on Ravian and the others, so theoretically the strongest aura they had ever seen from a dragon was Ajax's Renoir.)
"A dragon! A bone dragon! The most powerful bone dragon!" Although Mogus had a vague idea that this dragon was extraordinary, he never thought that it was a dragon king-level being!
"It's chasing them?" Lavian exclaimed in shock. No wonder Caslo and the others were flying so fast, as if a god was chasing them. Anyone who was being chased by this thing would be scared half to death!
"This dragon power is terrifying!" Ravian shattered the surrounding ice crystals with his battle aura, and the Frost Dragon King Asata brought an endless blizzard like a walking eye of a storm!
"The curse probably comes from him!" Mogus's gaze sharpened as he sensed the faint undead and curse power subtly eroding his battle aura in the wind and snow, and he solemnly declared.

"I don't know! What should we do?" Although Lavian had seen all kinds of scenes, this was the first time he had seen such a terrifying bone dragon, and his CPU was instantly overloaded.

"Hey! Wake up! That's a terrifying bone dragon! It shouldn't be a match for you or me! Its enemies should be the kingdom's dragon knights and dragon commanders! Not us country bumpkins who can only run on four legs on warhorses!" Mogus chuckled self-deprecatingly. What? I'm fighting such a terrifying bone dragon? Then what's the point of raising the kingdom's dragon knights!

"Are we just going to let this go?" Lavian felt a little guilty; after all, it was his own dragon knight, and he couldn't just watch him get beaten up!

"How do we manage it? Are we supposed to fly up there and get shot down? Or are we supposed to get beaten up in the sky?" Mogus shrugged. The sky belongs to the dragon knights, not to ordinary knights like them!
"So now go back and appease the people, and reinforce the city's defenses! The rest is up to fate!" Mogus waved his hand.

"Yes! The people! We have to evacuate the people! We can't stay in Pingnan City any longer!" Upon hearing Mogus's words, Lavian instantly snapped back to reality, slapped his forehead, and shouted to Mogus.

"Evacuate? Are you crazy? In the dead of winter, you're driving people from relatively warm towns into the wilderness? The undead won't even need to fight; we'll freeze to death overnight!" Mogus's breath was conspicuously white! Although it was January of the Third Age, 2953, no one was foolish enough to believe that spring had already arrived in the North! The late winter blizzards were still raging, and with bone dragons lurking nearby, Mogus was momentarily "moved" by this messed-up world, as if he'd been slapped by a dog!
"..." Lavian did not refute, his breath steaming like a ribbon. Such a temperature made the people leave the warm fireplaces and the windproof city walls... It was obvious to anyone that most of them would not survive a night!
“Dragons are proud creatures. Would you care about ants?” Mogus suddenly asked.

“No…” Ravian shook his head, puzzled, not understanding why Mogus suddenly said that.

"That's right! Similarly, dragons won't specifically target ants unless they happen to trample them along the way... So now we can only gamble on the dragons' pride!" Mogus shrugged.

“But all that’s left of the dragon is bones…” Ravian said worriedly.

"Although he died and became a bone dragon, the pride in his dragon soul will not change!" Mogus said with certainty. The imprint of the soul will not change. A proud dragon in life will remain proud even in death!

“…” Lavian didn’t speak. He felt really powerless to leave his fate to others’ charity. He might be able to escape the attack of that bone dragon by chance, but most people in Pingnan City would definitely die!
(Maple Forest Orchid: Take it easy, kid, that's the Dragon King! Escape? You're guaranteed to die! His Majesty won't blame you if you're really targeted, after all, his two dragon rider commanders are still on the run!)

……

"They're biting really hard!" Caslo cursed in a fit of impotent rage.

"You charlatan! Think of something! Don't you always talk about the Dragon God? Let the Dragon God come out and subdue it!"

“The Dragon God says he’s not in charge of this kind of quack! He’s not home today! He can’t help us!” Charlie Pross, who was being held by Maple Forest Orchid, shouted.

"Useless!" Maple Forest Orchid said speechlessly.

"Damn it! The Dragon God is gone now!" Caslo complained. "Uh! I understand how you all feel, but could you please stop insulting the Dragon God? May the Dragon God protect us!" Kaldor's voice echoed in everyone's hearts.

"Oh! I'm sorry, my dear, I was too hasty! May the Dragon God forgive me!" Maple Forest Orchid said apologetically. Long Xi pretended not to have seen his behavior that offended the Dragon God. Anyway, he could pamper his own knight, and the Dragon God wouldn't blame him!
"It's alright! The Dragon God forgives you!" Kaldo said calmly, as if he were saying something as absurd as if Buddha himself had forgiven him.

"Huh! No?" Charlie Pros struggled to turn his head, his eyes filled with confusion and shock. When did the Dragon God become so casual? In the Empire, this would be considered... uh... Dragon Knight Commander? Never mind! Three cups as punishment will suffice!
“We need to find a way to shake him off! He’s too tight! We’ll get knocked down!” Caslo shouted.

"I see the knights supporting Pingnan City! Right below us!" Charlie Prous suddenly shouted, pointing downwards.

"Damn it! At this time... get around them! Don't let them lure the Dragon King away!" Caslo was about to curse! If a whole squad of Square Banner Knights were wiped out by the Frost Dragon King, King Roland would probably turn around and kill him! After all these years, Roland had only managed to amass two knight squads!

……

"Hey! Sir, isn't that our Dragon Rider General Caslo?" A knight pointed out the very obvious Storm Dragon in the sky to Lafitte Anthony.

"Hmm? There's another light dragon? Is it Her Majesty Maple Forest Orchid or Lady Maple Forest Xilan?" Lafit Anthony looked up to observe, but soon the two giant dragons quickly flew around his location and disappeared into the clouds.

"What is that?" Lafitte Anthony suddenly noticed something big in the snowstorm, the rolling blizzard sending chills down his spine!
"The blizzard isn't heading towards us! Our position is relatively safe!" one of the knights calculated their location.

“No…is that a dragon?” Lafitte Anthony asked, pointing to the dragon’s silhouette that was faintly visible in the blizzard.

"The sky has fallen! The Dragon Rider Commander is being chased by dragons? They're flying towards Lulong Fortress!" Lafit Anthony's eyes widened in disbelief.

"Go to Lulong? The Dragon Cavalry Commander is leading the enemy towards his own city?" a knight captain nearby exclaimed in shock.

"Smack!" Lafitte Anthony slapped his helmet.

“Lulong is a war fortress! Guess what its function is?” Lafit Anthony said speechlessly.

“The enemy that can make the Dragon Riders lead us toward the war fortress must be extraordinary! We have to go and help!” Lafit Anthony thought for a moment and said.

“Aren’t we going to rescue Pingnan City? Besides, on the battlefield of the Dragon Knights…” Several knight captains on the side hesitated, as if they wanted to say something but then stopped.
