The Lord of the Rings: Lords of Middle-earth.

Chapter 536, Section 7 & 8: The Ringwraiths!

Chapter 536 The Seventh and Eighth Ringwraiths!

"Roar! I smell fear! They're hiding in the city!" The orc lord brandished his mace.

"They hide behind high walls, they fear us! They only tremble under the shadow of war! Prepare to attack! Kill them all!" A hoarse voice rang out, wielding a decaying spear, clad in black and tattered armor, emanating a decaying, chilling, and terrifying aura.

……

"Damn it!" Renault was laughing in anger from the city wall. Oh, dragon god! Look what I found! A wild Ringwraith! Crunchy, tastes like chicken?

The Ringwraith's obvious presence and imposing presence made Renault grit his teeth. Tens of thousands of orcs plus a Ringwraith? Renault thought the situation couldn't possibly get any worse.

"Oh! The alluring aura of terror! Howl! Tremble! No man can kill us! Hahaha! We are terror! We are death!" A demonic dragon soared into the sky, and the decaying knight on its back let out a piercing roar.

“Oh! Dragon God, I was wrong! A situation worse than facing one Ringwraith has arisen! Facing two Ringwraiths…” Renault’s eyelids twitched violently.

"Hahaha! Fear! Tremble! Death will come..." The Ringwraith flying in the sky vented his terrifying voice, trying to shake the soldiers' resolve.

"I am your father!" The four Elnino Rangers turned the winch, and a stream of light shot out, suddenly disappearing into the wildly flying demon dragon in the sky.

"Bang!" The ugly corpse of the demon dragon suddenly shattered. Clearly, the Ringwraith was caught off guard. It probably didn't even realize what a true war fortress was! It was an existence where even the gods would have to listen to it speak before it went into full power!

At that moment, the Ringwraith fell gracefully from hundreds of meters in the sky, crashing into the ground with a thud.

"Roar!" A mournful roar rang out, accompanied by a deafening boom. The ground around him suddenly crumbled and exploded, creating a crater nearly a hundred meters in diameter.

With a "crack!" a hand suddenly shot out amidst the sound of metal scraping against metal, and then a Ringwraith shrouded in dense death energy appeared before everyone's eyes.

"Tsk tsk tsk! What a pity, the attack from the Dragon Tower didn't kill him? Which Ringwraith is he? Which Ring?" Renault clicked his tongue in regret, his expression as if he had missed out on five million.

"Good heavens! Half of his body is shattered... and he's still not satisfied?" Luke stared at the figure, half of his shoulder armor gone, and wisps of death energy coiled around the mangled left side of his body, trying to repair it. The ground beneath his feet was a grayish color, the grass withered and died rapidly, and wisps of death energy surged towards him from all around.

“The eighth Ringwraith, Akhorn, the owner of the eighth Ring of Death—the Wither!” Reno said solemnly, narrowing his eyes.

"The eighth Ringwraith has appeared... Alas!" Renault sighed; the worst had indeed happened.

“So who are you?” Renault gripped his paladin’s sword, tilting his head as he looked at the decaying, spear-wielding Ringwraith and muttered to himself. “Archoun, you’re in too much of a hurry!” A pale, bony hand pressed down on Archoun, who was trying to storm the fortress. The slender, pale bony hand looked incredibly fragile even though it was clad in iron gauntlets, but Archoun, who was being held down, didn’t think so.

"What a pity, if only all the Ringwraiths were as brainless as this idiot!" Renault said regretfully, looking at Akhorn who was being held down. After all, two Meteor Towers were already aimed at him. If he was released and the shield was activated, he would be frozen in place the moment the shield blocked him, and that moment would be his death!
What? You're asking why we don't shoot him now? Actually, these orc armies are already within the attack radius of the Fortress Dragon Tower. The main reason for not attacking is that Renault wants to keep some trump cards up his sleeve, and secondly, attacking ordinary orc armies isn't cost-effective... The most crucial point is that the Dragon Tower's special magic crystal armor-piercing magic arrows are limited in number and extremely expensive!

"Rotten! The final destination of all things!" The Ringwraith threw out chains made of death energy, bound Akhorn, and forcibly dragged him back.

"Damn!" Renault shuddered as he finally recognized who the guy below was.

“The Seventh Ring, Adonafi! The holder of the Ring of Decay! The Spear of Decay and Eternity! I recognize that thing!” Merck Leopold exclaimed.

Now, Reno, Luke, and Merck are truly vulnerable to Garen's Whisper Silence and subsequent defense breach! With the seventh and eighth rings already here, how far behind can the ninth be? You must remember that the Ninth Ring, Uvasa, is a spatial item! The Void Ring combined with a spatial Ringwraith is simply a headache… However…

"No problem! We're fully equipped and have plenty of supplies! What's wrong with giving them three Ringwraiths?" Renault stood with his hands on his hips, surveying the landscape with disdain. It looked like Renault was about to recite the "Memorial on the Expedition" from the Central Plains! After all, the war fortress, now in its initial stages of operation, already possessed the strength to defend against everything on this land. The previously weakest point, spatial defense, was no longer a weakness after the shield array was repaired!

"Remind the brothers to be careful, always watch out for areas where the shields are triggered, and watch out for that old bastard Nine Rings infiltrating!" Renault warned. Generally, Ringwraiths are automatically blocked by epic-level shields, but if we don't pay attention, that old bastard Nine might manage to get in, and that would be a real mess. After all, no one in the entire fortress can stop him head-on. Although that outcast Nine Rings guy is always spouting chivalry, Renault said it's best to just take the Ringwraiths' words with a grain of salt! Forget it, better not to listen; they're easily swayed…

……

"Adonnafi, do I need an explanation?" Akhorn said angrily, staring at Adonnafi who looked like a skeleton.

"If you want to take another hit from that heavy crossbow bolt, go ahead, but... you don't have a second dragon to stop you." Adonarfi's melancholy voice drifted over, like that of a sorrowful knight. Sitting atop the Nightmare, Adonarfi, holding the Corrupted Eternal Spear, silently gazed at Lulong Fortress. This once legendary weapon was now corrupted by the power of decay; calling it the divine weapon, the Tetanus Blade, would be an understatement! However, no one would willingly be struck by it, for the immense decaying power contained within would reduce the victim to ashes!

"You!" Akhorn's crimson soul flames throbbed violently, but he quickly chose to remain calm. After all, choosing to avoid the attack of the Meteor Dragon Tower was not admitting defeat, but rather following his heart!

"..." Akhorn moved a few steps away from Adonarfie almost imperceptibly. This madman who wielded the power of decay often oscillated between lucidity and madness. It was said that this was a split personality caused by his resistance to the power of the Ring when he was a human hero. However, in the end, even the holy hero could not stop the corruption of Sauron's Ring of Power!

This once sacred hero of the Kingdom of Arno eventually became the henchman of the person he hated most, but sometimes he would regain his senses and become a melancholy knight, standing quietly gazing into the distance.

However, compared to him, Uvasar the Ninth Ring is another extreme. Uvasar still maintains his own will and spirit, and is an anomaly who often does things that conform to the code of chivalry. It can be said that the history of the Ninth Ring appearing before mankind is very limited. As the last Ringwraith to be born, his whereabouts are also very mysterious. In the original work, he only appeared twice, once in the final battle when he was chasing Frodo and again in the Battle of the Black Gate when he was killed. Even the minor orcs had more screen time than him...

The seventh and eighth brothers are here!
