Chapter 190 The Wrath of the Dragons
Chapter 190 The Wrath of the Dragons
"They're out!" Yun Feng said coldly, his eyes narrowing slightly.
"Boom!" Amidst the flying earth and rocks, a massive dragon body was pulled out.
"Good heavens! It's so big? A fully grown silver dragon!" Roland exclaimed.
What came into view was a silver dragon body that was a hundred meters long. The corpse was so lifelike that even from dozens of meters away, Roland could feel the dragon's might pressing down on him, making him almost kneel down.
"Damn! I can't move! This dragon's might... how can it be so... terrifying!" Roland reached out to block his way forward, but the terrifying dragon's might pushed him backward, as if it were a tangible force!
"Your Highness! Draw your sword!" Caslo noticed Roland's predicament and quickly reminded him.
Roland's Dragon Slayer Sword has the effect of restraining dragon creatures. As the most common epic weapon, each Dragon Slayer Sword has slain a real dragon, so when the wielder draws the sword, he will not be suppressed by the dragon's might.
"Clang! Roar!" Accompanied by the sound of a sword being drawn from its sheath, a long, drawn-out dragon's roar emanated from the vibrating blade.
"By the Dragon God! What is going on? What could possibly damage a silver dragon like this?" Roland was immediately shocked by the scene before him after he had just broken free from the suppression of the dragon's might.
The enormous dragon's body was covered with terrifying wounds that revealed the bone. The fine wounds cut the silver dragon to pieces, and the silver-red dragon blood floated slowly in the void. The broken dragon scales appeared and disappeared. Even the dead silver dragon could still communicate with the power of space!
Roland was deeply shocked by what he saw. He couldn't understand what could be so cruel as to kill a grown silver dragon and beat it to a bloody pulp!
"Damn it!" Caslo suddenly roared as he circled around to the other side. His eyes instantly turned bloodshot, fine blood vessels crawled up his eyeballs, and the veins on his face twisted together in a ferocious manner.
"What's wrong?" Yun Feng floated over and asked, puzzled.
"This is... the human race's... dragon rider commander!" Caslo pointed with heartbreaking grief at the dragon saddle that had broken when the silver dragon revealed its true form. Because the dragon's enormous body was not suitable for dragon riders to ride in the air, all dragon mounts would control their size to a suitable range of about 20 meters. However, once the dragon was engaged in melee combat, it would inevitably reveal its true form. In an instant, its hundred-meter-long body would show the enemy how pathetic it was to fight a dragon hand-to-hand. During this time, most dragon saddles would break off.
"Dragon Saddle..." Yun Feng's face showed surprise. How powerful must one be to ride a silver dragon? In the history of the Lagrange Empire, there were only a handful of people who could ride the Golden Holy Dragon and the Silver Holy Dragon. Here, a silver dragon knight had actually fallen... Yun Feng dared not think about it. What could have caused the near-invincible silver dragon knight to fall?
"Hunting a Silver Dragon Knight? That's impossible!" Roland exclaimed in horror. When it comes to the difficulty of hunting, the Silver Dragon is second to none. No creature in the world dares to claim the first place. Even the Golden Dragon, which also possesses spatial attributes, cannot escape as well as the Silver Dragon. If the Silver Dragon wants to run... no one can stop it!
"That's too brutal! They actually managed to slaughter a silver dragon. What kind of combat power would it take to prevent a silver dragon from escaping?" Roland was horrified. He couldn't imagine the horror of that earth-shattering battle three thousand years ago. It was not only the pinnacle of the allied forces' strength but also the pinnacle of the dark forces led by Sauron.
“Our ancestors… alas!” Caslo sighed as he looked at the silver dragon that had perished a thousand years ago.
As a dragon knight, Caslo could feel that unyielding fighting spirit even more deeply! A silver dragon knight commander is buried here! A glorious chapter of human history is buried here! The indomitable spirit of human knights is buried here as well.
"Please entrust your will to us to inherit..." Roland bowed deeply. Regardless of what happened here three thousand years ago, Roland believed that a dragon rider commander riding a silver dragon was definitely a knight with a heart for the light, because silver dragons were also the enforcers of the dragon race, and they represented the justice and order of the dragon race.
"Roar!" The furious roar of the wind dragon Kaldor resounded through the heavens and earth. Even the most hard-hearted person could feel the sorrow in its roar. Kaldor had actually emerged through the dragon flute without Caslo's summons. "Caslo! Who! Who killed our dragon clan! Who killed the silver dragon, the enforcer of the dragon clan! I will crush them! These despicable ants! How dare they attack and kill the silver dragon clan!" Kaldor roared angrily.
It's easy to see how high the Silver Dragon clan's status is among the dragon race. In fact, the Silver Dragon clan is not very numerous in the Central Plains. It's considered lucky if you can find a few dozen members in the entire clan. In most cases, the number of Silver Dragons is around 20-30.
"Why!" A beautiful figure appeared silently.
Roland was instantly overwhelmed by the sight of the colorful figure. How did this elf dragon end up here?
"Smurf? How did you get here?" Roland looked curiously at the dragon spirit still sealed by Yunfeng.
"Why...why did you die here...tell me..." The Smurf ignored Roland and instead walked step by step toward the Silver Dragon's corpse.
"Wait! Your Highness! Don't go over there! This is the death cry of the elven dragon... She is summoning the spirit of this silver dragon..." As a dragon knight, Caslo possessed some of the memories of the dragon race, so he clearly recognized what the elven dragon was doing.
"Roar!" The heavy dragon body suddenly descended from the sky, and an ice-blue dragon shadow appeared in the smoke.
“Cough cough cough! Skye! What’s wrong with you! What happened?” Peter Gro’s voice came through the smoke.
"By the goddess above!" Peter Groh screamed instantly, each scream louder than the last, as he noticed the dead silver dragon.
"Roar!" The three pure-blooded dragons, large and small, cried out in unison, their mournful roars bringing tears to the eyes of all who heard them.
"Someone of you has slain... a dragon?" Peter Groh watched cautiously as Roland and the others drew their elven scimitars. He looked utterly terrified. Having lived for over three thousand years, Peter Groh understood the exalted status of silver dragons among the dragon race; they were one of the royal families.
“No! This is the Dragon Knight Commander and his dragon who fell during the final Alliance War.” Roland sighed.
"Your human dragon riders are awesome?" Peter Gro's face was a picture of incredible emotion. He had no idea that humans possessed such terrifying beings back then? A sixth-tier dragon rider, awesome indeed! One man and one dragon easily defeated three elven kings, and yet he just died like that? Who killed him?
"Someone actually managed to kill the Silver Dragon Knight Commander? Is this for real?" Peter Gro exclaimed in shock. Having been inexplicably dragged here by his dragon, he never expected to witness such an explosive scene. Luckily, this wasn't Dragon Island; only three giant dragons had gathered here. If it were Dragon Island... good heavens... Peter Gro had no doubt that the dragons would wage a world-ending war for revenge for a single Silver Dragon, and even gods... would have to give way!
Having lived for so many years, Peter Groh had never even seen a Silver Dragon Knight, let alone a pair of dead ones, let alone the Silver Dragon Riders. Cold sweat was already dripping down his forehead.
"Someone has killed a silver dragon! The dragon race will not let it get away with this!" Star Dragon Sgae roared fiercely.
"They will pay the price! They cannot afford the dragon's revenge!" Wind Dragon Kaldor stood calmly before the corpse and spoke, but everyone could hear the boundless killing intent hidden beneath the calm!
"Let me hear what his spirit has to say; it will give us the answer!" The petite body of the Smurf dragon trembled, and Yun Feng's expression suddenly changed; the seal had been broken...
This part of Dragon Raja pays homage to Sky Knights, and it was this that made me realize the magnificent world of Dragon Knights and the splendor of the dragon race.
