Chapter 64 Lamb
Chapter 64 Lamb
During the rest of the Christmas holiday, Tierra continued to study diligently.
Perhaps due to the Herith potion and his mental strength far exceeding that of ordinary people, Tyella's progress in learning Occlumency was rapid. On the day before the end of the Christmas holidays, he was already able to edit and modify some memory fragments within his own mind and show them to Voldemort outside the mental walls.
This made Voldemort feel more at ease with him, and he attributed the reason why he couldn't read Tyella's thoughts at first to Tyella's talent for Occlumency, which caused her to unconsciously form a mental protective shell against the outside world under his guard.
"Tom, this formula," Tierra wrote in her diary, "I still don't quite understand this formula."
In just one Christmas holiday, Tyrell was "conquered" by Tom Riddle's eloquence and intelligence.
Not only did she open up her "entire" spiritual dimension to Tom Riddle, but she also increased the magical output she gave to Tom.
Of course, this amount of magical output is negligible compared to Tiera's overall spiritual existence, and Tom Riddle certainly wouldn't drain him dry all at once. Even if Tiera didn't consciously control it, Tom Riddle gradually slowed down the rate of magical absorption after freeing himself from that half-dead state.
After all, finding a long-term meal ticket that suits his taste is not easy. Tom Riddle's goal is to be fully resurrected, and to keep Tierra... to keep a complete and powerful Tierra so that he can better help him be resurrected.
Tiera is currently calculating the formula for a magic-boosting potion.
This magic-enhancing potion is given to many pure-blood families... many wealthy pure-blood families give it to their children after they begin learning magic.
This potion is only effective when the wizard is a minor. Its effect decreases year by year after the wizard reaches adulthood, and it loses all effect when the wizard is twenty years old.
Tierra knew that Tom Riddle was preparing "food" for his resurrection ritual.
After all, Tom Riddle had finally encountered a young wizard who could brew his own potions, and in order to return in his strongest form, Tom Riddle would do his best to fatten up his "lambs"—
Clearly, Tom Riddle no longer treats him like a human being.
With the frequent use of the brain-blocking technique over the past few days, Tiera felt that her mental presence had increased considerably, and the most obvious change was the speed at which her mental walls were being built.
Tiera's second layer of mental defenses was completed a few days ago, which also allowed him to directly enter the field of brain-sealing techniques.
It's as if this mental wall is an enhanced version of brain-closure surgery.
Tiera has now begun constructing the third layer of spiritual defenses.
Tiera is now completely certain that the mental barrier... at least the first three layers of the mental barrier rely heavily on the residual effects of the Heris potion.
With his recent frequent use of Occlumency, the residual effects of the Heris Potion will gradually be digested and further integrated into his mental existence.
Harry stopped using the Invisibility Cloak to search for the Mirror of Erised after one night.
Then Harry started to approach him, intentionally or unintentionally, and try to talk to him.
They were saying things like "The dead are gone, we should move forward" and "Let bygones be bygones, we all have a bright future," which were obviously copied from poems.
This left Tyella somewhat confused. Hermione returned the day before school started.
He spent all his time in the library as soon as he got back, still a top student as always.
"What? You found Nicolas Flamel?" Hermione exclaimed in surprise as soon as she returned and heard this bombshell news.
However, Hermione quickly realized the inappropriateness of her action and covered her mouth before Mrs. Pince could appear.
Ron and Harry, who had been forcibly dragged over by Hermione, were equally surprised.
Tiera opened "An Introduction to Alchemy" and turned to Chapter Two, the chapter on the Philosopher's Stone.
“Nicolas Flamel, the only wizard we can currently confirm who created the Philosopher's Stone…” Hermione took the “Introduction to Alchemy” and began to read.
"Ancient alchemy involved the creation of the Philosopher's Stone, a magical substance with amazing functions. The Philosopher's Stone can turn any metal into pure gold and can also create an elixir of immortality, making the person who drinks it never die."
"There have been many reports about the Philosopher's Stone over the centuries, but the only surviving piece of the Philosopher's Stone currently belongs to the famous alchemist and opera lover, Mr. Nicolas Flamel."
"He celebrated his 665th birthday last year and now lives in seclusion in Devon with his wife, Perenall (658 years old)."
"It must be!" Hermione whispered. "This must be what the three-headed dog is guarding!"
"A stone that can turn into gold and grant you immortality!" Harry exclaimed. "No wonder Snape wanted it, everyone wants it!"
“Of course, everyone wants it,” Tiera laughed, while silently thinking to herself, “Thank goodness I got it.”
“No wonder we can’t find Lemaître in ‘Studies on the Development of Modern Magic,’” Ron said. “Since he’s 665 years old, he can’t be considered modern, right?”
“Thanks to Tierra.” Hermione rolled her eyes at Ron. “Thanks to Tierra, otherwise we would still be in the dark.”
"You should all be kept in the dark," Tierra thought. "What kind of secret is it if even a bunch of first-year wizards know this?"
“What do we do now?” Harry asked. “We know what Cerberus is guarding, what do we do now?”
“I suggest you… I suggest we do nothing,” Tiera said. “That’s the teachers’ business, it has nothing to do with us!”
"But, but what if Snape steals it?"
“Then let him have it!” Tierra said decisively. “No one of you thinks Dumbledore is a pushover, right? No way… cough cough, anyway, don’t forget, the headmaster of this school is the most powerful white wizard in history—Dumbledore! What can be hidden from him… Snape, no matter how powerful he is, he definitely can’t beat Dumbledore… um… Dumbledore is the most powerful…”
Tiera became increasingly uneasy as she spoke.
Damn, how is Dumbledore so strong?
