Chapter 608 Sirius's Visit

Chapter 608 Sirius's Visit
After Tierra demonstrated the instability of the "God-made Philosopher's Stone" to Hermione.

Hermione stopped asking questions and fell into deep shock and contemplation.

After an unknown amount of time, Horace Slughorn seemed to have finally reached the final stage of the brewing process. He drew his wand and lightly waved it at the liquid floating in the air—

The liquid changed color instantly, from a mixed silver-gray to a bright red, and then turned into a translucent orange-red.

Upon seeing the change in the solution, Horace Slughorn quickly pulled a test tube from his pocket, waved his wand, and poured the translucent orange-red liquid into the test tube.

“Ah, Tyella.” Horace Slughorn, having finished refining the Alpha-36 solvent, finally noticed Tyella and Hermione, who had re-entered the Room of Requirement. “Look.”

As he spoke, Horace Slughorn shook the test tube in his hand, which contained a semi-transparent orange-red liquid.

“Excellent, congratulations, Professor Slughorn.” Tierra clapped lightly and said, then turned to the side and pointed to Hermione standing behind her, “Hermione Granger, you must remember her.”

“Ah, yes, yes, Miss Granger,” Horace Slughorn said with a smile.

“Well, I think Hermione’s calculation skills are already good enough to handle some of the simple calculations involved in crafting the Philosopher’s Stone,” Tierra said with a smile. “And Hermione is also planning to take the general entrance exam for the Magic University in a few years. I was thinking that perhaps you could mentor her… um… let her help you out.”

"What? Again, again, again, yet another one?" Horace Slughorn asked in shock.

"Tierra...you see, I...I still have to tutor Harry on Occlumency later...Hermione, although...although excellent, but...but...but she's still quite a distance from mastering it...It might make things much easier for me later, but...but it will require a lot of my energy in the early stages...and what if she makes some calculation errors..."

Although Horace Slughorn didn't finish his sentence, both Tyella and Hermione understood what he meant next.

“It’s alright,” Tiera said with a smile. “Just give Hermione the task and let her observe your crafting process. I’ll handle the calculations after she finishes them.”

“But Tiera… my time is really tight…” Horace Slughorn added.

“Alright, alright.” Tyella seemed to have given in. “Well… you can handle Harry’s situation as you see fit. Anyway, with me keeping an eye on things, it’s unlikely anything serious will happen to Harry… or you could see if there are any professors at our school who are good at Occlumency, and have them teach him.” “Okay, okay, then there’s no problem.” Horace Slughorn breathed a sigh of relief, as if he had been granted a pardon.

“Then Professor Slughorn, I’ll leave it to you,” Tiera said with a smile.

“No problem, no problem. Miss Granger is naturally gifted and exceptionally talented.” Horace Slughorn rubbed his hands together and laughed, looking like a happy sea seal.

“Then Hermione is in your care,” Tierra said with a smile. “You can show her around our lab, explain the general process and some basic principles… I already trained her on the calculation process last semester, so you can just assign her tasks.”

“Okay, okay,” Horace Slughorn said.

"And you?" Horace Slughorn asked curiously. "What are you doing there?"

“Oh…a visitor has arrived at Hogwarts, and Dumbledore needs my help to receive him,” Tyella said.

"Don't you have several Tiera?"

Horace Slaghorn asked curiously.

“This Tiera must be received by Tiera as a student,” Tiera said with a smile.

……

Thirty minutes earlier, Sirius Black emerged from the fireplace of the Three Broomsticks tavern in Hogsmeade and asked the Hogwarts doorman to grant him an audience with Dumbledore.
