Chapter 46 Potion Master
"You brewed this potion?"

Ten minutes later, Snape appeared in front of Tyella with the potion that was missing a layer.

“Um…yes, yes,” Tierra replied, while secretly watching Snape’s expression.

"If you want to see, then look!" Snape said in a chilling voice. "Don't peek!"

“Yes, yes, Professor Snape,” Tyella replied.

Snape's expression wasn't exactly good, but it wasn't bad either; there was just a hint of...

Hmm... Tiera couldn't quite explain it either, her expression a little complicated.
"Where did the potion recipe come from?" Snape asked.

“I experimented on it myself,” Tiera explained. “When I was buying the ingredients for the Tranquilizing Potion, I discovered that dried lightning beetle shells and Balnia mushrooms were cheaper than the man-eating mushroom roots and golden-winged beetle eyeballs that were originally needed for the potion. Moreover, according to the description in ‘The Principles of Potions,’ these two materials are the main ingredients of a powerful analgesic that helps wizards concentrate in extreme environments. Therefore, I thought…”

"So you wondered if there was some mystical or material connection between the four ingredients, so you replaced the original mushroom roots and golden-winged beetle roots with these two ingredients?" Snape continued, picking up where Tierra left off. "But the effect wasn't significant, so while increasing the original amount of Tranquilizing Flower, you also added 23 grams and 30 grams of the other two ingredients respectively, so you got this bottle of red Tranquilizing Potion, right?"

“Yes,” Tierra replied quietly. Although Snape’s account was missing one step of Tierra’s calculation, it was close enough.

After staring at Tyella for a while, Snape asked:

"You're interested in potions?"

“Yes,” Tierra replied sincerely.

"You studied Potions before?" Snape asked again.

“No, it’s just that my parents are from a family of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners in the Muggle world, and I worked part-time at a traditional Chinese medicine shop for a while when I was a homeless person,” Tierra said, then added, “It feels like traditional Chinese medicine in the Muggle world is somewhat similar to the potions taught at Hogwarts.”

“Hmm.” Snape nodded, seemingly accepting Tyella’s explanation. “Chinese medicine… is the potions of Eastern wizards.”

"Would you like to continue learning potions?" Snape asked.

"Yes!" Tierra almost shouted.

“Okay, come to my office every Sunday evening from 6:30 to 7:30,” Snape said. “I only have one hour, so don’t be late, have your questions ready, and don’t waste my time.”

If he had to rank them, Tyrell's current feelings would be second only to the excitement of stepping into Hogwarts.

Tierra only wanted Snape to help him appraise the potion, and he was prepared to be refused. However, Snape actually asked to tutor him on potion making one-on-one.

"I need to study this potion further. You can leave now." After Tierra agreed, Snape ruthlessly dismissed her.

Even after stepping out of the Potions classroom, Tiera still felt a sense of unreality.

Tierra glanced at Snape's office, then quickly ran up the stairs.

However, what Tierra didn't know was that not long after he left, Snape came out of his office, holding Tierra's bottle of crimson potion, and went straight to the entrance of the headmaster's office on the third floor.

After answering the password correctly, they passed through the gargoyles and ascended the spiral staircase leading to the principal's office...

……

At dinner, George Weasley and Fred Weasley approached Tierra. "Hey, Tierra, I heard you're going to make some magical items too?" George... or maybe Fred asked. "This morning, Percy suddenly came in all angry and gave us a piece of his mind."

“He thinks we’ve corrupted you. Seriously, if you really have any questions about Transfiguration, you can ask us,” said the other twin.

"Yes, we're experts in Transfiguration!"

"We also heard from Ronnie that you brewed calming potions for him and Harry?"

"That's something many sixth graders can't endure."

“Even Percy can’t do it, hehehe…” he said, then laughed.

"By the way, would you like to team up with us? Fred and I are working on prank products."

Tiera was a little confused by the twins' rapid-fire speech, but she still understood this sentence.

"How's your research going?" Tierra admitted she was intrigued. The fact that the Weasleys' joke shop, run by the Weasley twins, could dominate Diagon Alley in the original story meant that their statement, "We are experts in Transfiguration," was absolutely true.

After all, Tiera is now a theoretical giant and a practical dwarf. Her skills in transmutation, alchemy, the making of magical items, and even potion-making all rely on the accumulation and experience she gained in her previous life, which was decades ahead of this era.

"We've already made progress." Fred, or George, said mysteriously, pulling a pale yellow, round, egg-sized object from his pocket. "This is a dung bomb, one we've improved. Once it hits someone, it will release that stench..."

“Okay, I’m in.” Tiera suddenly remembered that the twins still had a magical artifact in their hands—the Marauder’s Map. This magical artifact, made by the Marauders, had been obtained by the Weasley twins back when they were freshmen.

So Tiera just chatted casually for a bit, not really wanting to know what big news they had actually made.

The twins were very enthusiastic about Tierra's arrival. They sat on either side of Tierra while eating dinner, and told her about the embarrassing stories of the school's professors and staff, mainly the admin Fitch and the librarian Mrs. Pince, as well as their own "glorious deeds."

Their younger brother, Ron, could only be pushed to the side.

These "glorious deeds" left Tiera speechless.

These two kids are really grateful to Dumbledore's reforms for surviving to this day without being beaten to death; he abolished many school rules that involved corporal punishment of students.

"When do we have our activities?" Tiera asked. While listening to them talk about these things was interesting, nothing was more important than improving her own magical skills.

“Anytime,” one of them, perhaps George, said.

“Usually on Saturdays and Sundays,” another said, “but we also get together when we don’t have classes.”

"After all, inspiration always comes unexpectedly, and we can't control that."

This is the fifth update. I might only have one update tomorrow and the day after because I have to do experiments. Goodnight everyone.
