Chapter 225 Long Time No See, Tom

Chapter 225 Long Time No See, Tom

Tierra raised her hand and slapped Sirius Black, sending him tumbling down the stairs.

Tierra's Dragonheart wand fell to the ground, but neither Tierra nor Sirius Black picked it up; they simply stared blankly at Tierra.

"You...you know?" Sirius Black asked nervously.

“I know everything,” Tierra said.

"Then you should know that flesh magic is classified as N-level magic in magical theory," Sirius Black said, standing up. "Using, learning, and spreading N-level magic will..."

“It will win me a lifetime bed in Azkaban,” Tierra continued. “I’ve heard that kind of talk far too many times.”

“So I have to get rid of you.” Sirius Black picked up his wand from the ground and said to Tierra, “I can’t let such a dangerous person like you stay by Harry’s side any longer!”

“Magic is dangerous, so why do you think I am dangerous?” Tiera retorted.

"Don't try to deny it!" Sirius roared. "No one! No one can maintain their sanity after studying dark magic; they only slide deeper and deeper into the abyss of evil!"

“That’s just your prejudice,” Tiera said with a smile, “just like your prejudice against your brother.”

"My brother?" Sirius asked, puzzled. "Regulus? What does this have to do with Regulus?"

“Heh.” Tiera chuckled mockingly. “Like Regulus, I toil in the darkness, yet serve the light.”

Sirius: ? ? ?
“You might not understand what I’m saying. Come on, I’ll show you.” Tiera said, turning and going upstairs, her back to Sirius indifferent. “Have Kreacher come up too.”

Sirius hesitated for a moment, glanced at Kreacher, then continued to hold his wand and follow behind Tyella.

He wanted to see what other tricks this overly mature and genius young wizard could pull.

Tiera continued up the stairs, where the walls beside them were covered with the heads of the house-elves who had served the family their entire lives, their withered faces filled with a numb yet hopeful expression.

Tiera arrived at the second floor of Black's old house amidst the lifeless gazes of the house elves—

This is the Black family's living room, with a large window overlooking the street in front of the house, two ornate glass cabinets on either side of a large fireplace, and a wall covered with a Black family tree-shaped tapestry.

There were vixens everywhere through the curtains in the living room, a bogged dog in the desk, and a litter of dead pufferfish in the sofa.

Tiera led Sirius and Kreacher to the glass cabinet next to the fireplace. The cabinet doors were very dirty, covered with dust and sticky black glue.

The dark magic artifacts inside were even stranger; they seemed unwilling to leave their shelves. Tiera carefully observed these items, including—

A rusty dagger, an animal's claw, and a coiled snakeskin.

There was also a decorative crystal bottle with an opal set on it, filled with blood, and a silver snuffbox that would bite, filled with flesh tumor powder.

A multi-legged, tweezer-like instrument that could crawl like a spider; a hypnotic music box; a dusty gray box containing a Merlin First Class Medal, awarded to Sirius Black's grandfather for "his service to the Ministry of Magic"; a large gold ring engraved with the Black family crest; and a family photograph in a silver frame. And—

A keepsake box that no one could open! On the gold pendant box was a capital serpentine S, inlaid with sparkling emeralds, resembling a small snake, surrounded by a very distinct circle.

Further outwards, encircling the circle are many hazy, strange black patterns, with extremely complex designs, resembling some kind of ancient script.

Tyella was overjoyed. Through her memories and her sense of traces of dark magic, she confirmed that this was Slytherin's locket, another Horcrux from Voldemort—

“Long time no see, Tom,” Tierra said happily, then slowly opened the dusty cabinet door and reached for the locket—

"No! You thief! Put it down! Put it down!" Kreacher, who had been following Sirius with his head down, suddenly roared and lunged forward to stop Tiera—

“Kreacher! Stop!” But Sirius stopped him. “I promised him that he could pick anything from the Black family mansion.”

"No! You can't!" Kreacher cried out in despair—

Because at this moment, Tyella already had the Slytherin locket in his hand, and the only obstacle he faced was the biting tweezers placed next to the locket—

But Tiera flung him away.

"Waaah...waaah..." Kreacher cried, "Kreacher is sorry, Master Regulus. Kreacher didn't hide the locket properly. Kreacher is a bad elf, Kreacher is a bad, bad, bad elf...waaah...Sirius is a bad seed too, bringing a dirty mud-blood into this world...waaah..."

"Kreacher!" Sirius roared, "What's going on? Whose pendant is this? And what does it have to do with Regulus?"

“Kreacher…Kreacher can’t say…” Kreacher said, bowing his head. “Kreacher promised Master Regulus…Kreacher can’t say…”

“Kreacher! I am your master!” Sirius roared. “But when I ask you questions, you must answer truthfully, understand?”

“Yes, sir!” Kreacher bowed slightly again.

“This locket!” Sirius pointed to the locket in Tierra’s hand and said, “It doesn’t belong to the Black family. Where did you get it?”

"This, this is Master Regulus's locket!" Kreacher said, trembling.

“Regrus…?” Sirius paused for a moment, then immediately looked at Tiera. “You knew all along, didn’t you? You knew about this locket all along! Your goal was this locket, wasn’t it? What was your goal?”

“Don’t rush, Mr. Black.” Tierra smiled, brushing away the dust and dirt from the locket with a “sparkling clean” gesture, then, holding the chain, lifted the entire locket above her head—

Tiera tilted her head back, opened her mouth, and released her grip—

The locket fell into Tiera's mouth.

"Goo-"

Tiera moved her throat and swallowed the locket.

“Hehehehehe.” Tierra laughed. “Now, Mr. Black, let’s hear Regulus’s story.”
