"Gege," Mu Yifei ran toward Mu Yuehan, the moment she saw him.

Other family members also turned their attention toward him.

Mu Yuehan looked around at his second uncle, third uncle, aunts and many other elders, standing outside the operation room. He gave them all a stiff nod.

He knew they all were here to see his father's fall. They all wanted him dead. They all were ready to fight for the seat of the head of the Mu family because till now, his father had not officially announced him as the head of the Mu family.

He then looked at Mu TianYu, standing in front of the window of the operation theatre.

"Yifei, nothing will happen to father. Mm. I am here. I will ensure about the same." He patted the head of his sister. "Let me see the father."

Mu Yifei nodded her head and loosened her grip on the shirt of Mu Yuehan. "I am glad that you are here. You are the pillar of our family and we all needed you."

Mu Yuehan nodded and walked toward Mu TianYu. He placed his hand on the shoulder of his brother and looked inside the theatre.

"You are back." Mu TianYu looked at him with relief. He hugged him. He softly whispered in his ears. "These old men were standing on my head for so long. I was afraid of them. I am glad that you are back."

Mu Yuehan nodded his head and looked at the elders. They never liked Han Chunhua and the kids she had brought into their family. He could imagine the plea of Han Chunhua and Mu TianYu in their presence.

If something was to happen to his father, when he was not here, all the blame was going to fall on the shoulders of Mu TianYu.

"Don't cry. I am here now." Mu Yuehan patted his back. He then teased. "Should I ask dad to send you back to the military training once he is up? I see, you still cry like a girl."

"Hey, I was not crying." Mu TianYu chided and Mu Yuehan ruffled his hair.

"Nothing will happen to dad. He is strong. He knows, his family is waiting for him." He spoke with determination and then turned, to look at the uninvited and unwanted guests.

They all had their eyes fixed on Han Chunhua or Mu Yifei, scaring them.

"Second uncle," he walked toward the old man. He then acknowledged all other relatives with their titles. "You all are at your old age. I don't think it's good for any of your health to be here. Why don't you all go home? I and my family is here to look after dad."

He smiled, and every elder knew the meaning of his smile. He was asking them all to go out nicely before he called for the guards to get them all kicked out of the hospital.

"Second uncle." Mu Yuehan pointed toward the corridor.

His second uncle looked at him with sour eyes. They knew about the power which Mu Yuehan held in secret. So, what if he was not the head of the Mu family? His current powers were enough to crush them all.

"Call us when he is up."

"Will do."

Mu Yuehan watched the elders leave the hospital. He knew they were all polite to him outwardly but inwardly, they all were cursing him and his guts.

They were planning on how to remove him first, in case, something was to happen to his father.

'Foolish people! They think of removing me!'

Mu Yuehan walked toward Mu TianYu. Mu TianYu looked at him with amazement. "They were stone-headed, not ready to leave when I asked them. But see how they left with your few sentences."

Mu Yuehan smiled and then looked at him with all seriousness. "Why did he have an attack? What was the reason?"

Mu TianYu sighed. "Mu corporations is deep in loans and losses."

Mu Yuehan looked at him with wide eyes, completely surprised. Mu Yuehan was still not very interested in Mu corporation. He devoted all his time to his personal business.

Mu TianYu was the one working in Mu corporation as a simple employee. He was aware of the working of the corporation more than Mu Yuehan.

"In last year, dad had made some tough and risky decisions. He thinks that the decisions will give a result in future but for now, no one is happy with him. Investors are angry, shareholders are angry, and everyone is angry. The shares of Mu corporation had tumbled down quite badly."

Mu Yuehan exhaled sharply. He felt guilty for ignoring Mu corporation like this.

"Dealers are cancelling their deals with us. Investors are taking their investments back. Everything is a mess with the empire. Many big projects have come to a complete halt. Government is also behind our ass for their loans and projects."

"Today, some shareholders, uncles and aunties came into his office, blaming him for the loss of the empire. Dad could not take this all and he...." Mu TianYu threw his head back, feeling the terror which he had felt when his father collapsed in front of his eyes.

Mu Yuehan consoled him and then walked toward Han Chunhua. He took his seat beside her and side-hugged her. "Mom, don't worry. Dad will be alright."

Han Chunhua clutched his shirt and started to cry, feeling glad that he was here.

Mu Yuehan pressed a kiss on her forehead in consolation.

After calming down his mother, Mu Yuehan asked Mu TianYu to follow him toward the balcony in the hospital.

"What do you want to talk with me about which you could not talk in front of mom?" He asked and pulled out a cigarette from his pocket. He lightened it up.

"Do you feel, father, discriminated with you by not stopping you from joining the corporation as a mare employee?" he asked straightforwardly.

Mu Yuehan had seen and heard about many empires which collapsed because of the fight between brothers. Look at his own family, there was bloodshed before his father become the head. He knew, till now, many of his uncles were planning the murder of his father.

He did not want that to happen with Mu TianYu.

"Ah, I see, butler Fang told you." Mu TianYu puffed out the smoke from his mouth and passed the cigarette to Mu Yuehan. To his amusement, he denied it. Mu TianYu raised his brows in amusement but did not comment on it.
