"Unusual gravitational fluctuations! Damn it! Has a black hole suddenly appeared in the galaxy?" an Iron Hands technical officer gazed into the distance in astonishment. In a split second, the Randan fleet attacking the Endless Journey vanished from view. Suddenly, a terrifying gravitational singularity appeared out of thin air within the Randan fleet's formation. Pulled by a gravity so powerful that even light could not escape, the fleet was instantly engulfed by the terrifying gravity. The scene the technical officer had just witnessed was the shadowy remains of the distant Randan fleet from just a few minutes earlier. In reality, in less than two seconds, the Randan fleet, along with the miniature black hole, evaporated from the real universe!

The Endless Journey, which had succeeded in its attack, did not stop. Its gravity singularity generator was aimed at the distant War Moon No. 1. However, when another miniature black hole appeared in the Randan fleet, a wave of psychic energy like a tide surged out from War Moon No. 1, and instantly used the power of the subspace to wipe out the miniature black hole.

"A formidable opponent." Almost everyone, mortals and Primarchs alike, seemed to hear the distant voice emanating from the Randan War Moon. Then, the massive circular formation made way, and War Moon Number One escaped the protection of the escort fleet. It flew to the other side of the battlefield. The Endless Journey also departed. Neither side had brought any other escort vessels. Clearly, in a battle of this magnitude, ordinary warships were of limited use.

After gaining sufficient distance, the Endless Journey and War Moon No. 1, the two ultimate combatants, finally engaged in battle. Unlike the spectacular display of macrocannons and laser fire, the clash between the two could be described as metaphysical. Both sides were enveloped in a vast psychic energy, toying with the laws of space and the universe. Occasionally, a pitiful asteroid would be reduced to ash under the indescribable might! As the clash intensified, the entire visual horizon collapsed, and not even light could escape the space between the two. Only the gravitational wave and quantum detection equipment aboard the warships could detect the two terrifying presences in the distance.

"It seems I'm far from powerful enough." Ferrus felt his dignity being mercilessly trampled upon by a terrifying presence. All he had previously pursued, all he had prided himself on, paled in the face of such might. However, the war must continue, for, head on, the Randan fleet, led by War Moon No. 2, launched an attack.

(The combat may be a bit mysterious, but the upper limit of high-end combat in Warhammer is still very high. For example, the Beast's Battle Moon can use gravity weapons to destroy groups of Imperial warships. It is said that the flagship of Dora Kaur has weapons that can evaporate black holes. And the Dark Mechanicus also has weapons that can extinguish stars. I can only say that Ferrus has not been exposed to enough things yet, and it feels like he is just seeing the killing for the first time.)

The fleets of both sides began to close in, and Ferrus commanded his fleet's warships, equipped with planetary and ultra-long-range artillery, to launch the first round of attacks against the distant enemy. Randan's War Moon No. 2 seemed far less formidable than No. 1. It maintained a suitable distance, providing support to the fleet with various weaponry. Without the presence of super-sized psychic energy, the battle unfolded in a familiar pattern for Ferrus, which gave him a slight sense of peace of mind.

The Randan fleet surged forward like a tide. Their first encounter was the Iron Hands, led by Ferrus's flagship. Thick armor, razor-sharp firepower, and precise calculations were the hallmarks of the Iron Hands. Ferrus's talent for technology and warfare was pushed to its limits. Under his personal intervention, hundreds of warships unleashed a volley of nova cannons, inflicting heavy losses on the distant alien fleet. Even battleships were shattered by the barrage of shells weighing thousands or even tens of thousands of tons. Ordinary cruisers, caught in the intense firefight, were like small boats in a storm, easily "accidentally" destroyed by their adversaries at any moment!

"The combat effectiveness of the conventional Randan fleet is only average." Ferrus couldn't help but smile as he watched the Randan fleet ships being destroyed one by one by concentrated fire in the distance. His superhuman intelligence allowed him to quickly assess the situation. The special light spears equipped by the Randan fleet were indeed more powerful than the conventional Imperial weaponry. But there was no such thing as conventional weaponry in the Iron Hands fleet. Ferrus's unwavering dedication to his legions had paid rich dividends in today's battle. Relying on their formation and longer-range weapons, the Imperial fleet effectively contained the enemy's initial attack.

"My Lord, War Moon Number Two is approaching us! It's about to directly intervene in this battle!"

"Is it finally coming? I hope what we have prepared can kill it. Order the Black Executioner Squad to be ready to intervene in the battle when the time is right! Send a signal to the Dark Angels to let them cooperate with our army to open a gap in the Randan fleet when necessary! And Clarks, let him implement Plan A." Ferrus ordered immediately.

"Target Number Two is approaching! All nova cannons, concentrate fire!" As War Moon Number Two appeared before the Randan fleet, dozens of the Iron Hands' leading battleships trained their planetary cannons on the terrifying target, their muzzles flashing with dazzling light. Dozens of planetary cannon shells with various warheads roared into the distance. Then, they withdrew from their firing positions. The second wave of warships continued their fire. Even Ferrus's flagship joined in the attack. The Glorious Queen-class battleships, like mountains of steel, poured firepower upon the target, capable of melting even ordinary battleships. Countless beams and shells illuminated the inky blackness of space, and flames and explosions enveloped the distant War Moon. And yet...

"Sir, we failed to penetrate the enemy's shield!"

"And because of the shield, we can't send boarding units upwards," an officer reported.

"Order the fleet to continue attacking!" said Ferrus.

"Sir, the Randan fleet is charging again. Our attacks on the War Moon are nearly ineffective. If we reduce our firepower..." Before the officer could finish, the distant War Moon suddenly erupted with terrifying firepower. Countless missiles and beams of light blazed from the Randan War Moon. A group of cruisers, fresh from their attack, unfortunately became the first target. After a burst of explosions, six cruisers were completely shattered, followed by another large group of cruisers behind them! The War Moon, like a steel fortress, began to crush the Iron Hands' formation like a millstone. Meanwhile, more Randan warships attacked from both sides, attempting to penetrate the Iron Hands' formation.

The Space Wolves on the left flank immediately provided support, their equally ferocious long-range firepower halting some of the Randan fleet's outflanking attempts. Meanwhile, the Krakus and Raven Guards tightly protected Ferrus's right flank. However, under the onslaught of the nearly indestructible War Moon, large capital ships were shattered like firecrackers. Ferrus's flagship would soon face this enemy head-on!

"Sir, they discovered us!" said a mortal officer with a trembling voice.

"I know." Ferrus said after giving an order.

"We will be destroyed."

"Maybe." Looking at the shield that was shaking due to the intensive firepower, Ferrus looked out the window expressionlessly. At this time, a small fleet equipped with a stealth field generator and psychic suppression equipment was crossing the wreckage belt composed of battleship fragments and quietly flying towards the war moon.

Chapter 202 Assassination

"Tell the left and right wings that I want their firepower to be more intense!" roared Ferrus.

"Wolf Fang, Wolf Claw, Wyvern Squadron, fire all your missiles! Remember, all your missiles!" Dukain, commanding the Space Wolves fleet on the left wing, immediately responded to Ferrus's command. Hundreds of Space Wolves warships, utilizing vertical launch systems with massive projection, unleashed tens of thousands of missiles and torpedoes within minutes. This sudden surge in output surged towards the Randan fleet like a tidal wave, and the ferocity of the attack caught the enemy off guard. Swarms of warships were overwhelmed by the swarm of missiles. The violent and continuous explosions even disabled detection equipment on both sides.

However, on the right wing, the performance of the Ultramarines and the Raven Guard was rather poor. Even though the Mechanicus fleet had been assigned to Guilliman, their burst output was still far inferior to that of the Space Wolves fleet, even less than one-third of the opponent's.

The Imperial fleet's burst of fire exacted a heavy toll on the enemy, but they remained unmoved. War Moon was invincible, methodically clearing out every Imperial warship in his path. With the exception of Ferrus's flagship, the Iron Fist, which remained stuck like a rock in the enemy's path, the other ships, even the battleships, could only hold out for a little longer under the intense firepower.

"Our shield only has 20% left!" Finally, the Iron Fist was overwhelmed. The continuous attacks put enormous pressure on the Glorious Queen. The red warning light flashed. Once the shield was broken, the intensive firepower and boarding that followed would most likely take away the pride of the Imperial Navy in one wave.

However, at this moment, War Moon Two suddenly turned its guns, directing most of its firepower towards one side of the void! After the intense fire, a small fleet materialized in the void, led by Clarks' flagship, the Emperor's Shadow!

"Damn it, I'm still exposed." Ferrus said with regret. In desperation, Clarks could only fire the prepared deadly weapon from a distance!

"Fire all the special torpedoes! Then we will meet up with Ferrus!" Clarks' heart was also full of regret. The forbidden weapons fired at this distance were likely to be intercepted. If possible, these attackers equipped with stealth positions should fire at a closer distance.

The Randan fleet also recognized these threats and immediately dispatched a squadron to intercept these deadly torpedoes. However, the jammers and shields installed by the Iron Hands on these specialized torpedoes, each over 400 meters long, significantly reduced the damage of the intercepting fire. Several bipolar and vortex torpedoes exploded within the fleet. Originally designed to destroy planets, these weapons were clearly overkill against ordinary fleets. With the creation and destruction of a spatial rift, the Randan squadron was wiped out from the universe.

In this way, one-third of the torpedoes ultimately reached the distant War Moon. However, just as they were about to impact, a black streak appeared in space, transforming into a vortex connecting reality and the Warp. The vortex destroyed most of the remaining torpedoes, and only two ultimately struck the War Moon's shield! In an instant, the terrifying energy of the explosions formed a dazzling spot of light on the War Moon's exterior, a fireball hundreds of kilometers in diameter, and countless spatial rifts spread across the entire shield.

Initially, the War Moon, which had withstood the firepower of the entire fleet and remained virtually unscathed, felt a wave of fear. Its purple shield began to vibrate, then crack, and even the War Moon itself suffered some damage. However, the shield soon recharged, and everything returned to normal. The Clarks fleet's surprise attack seemed to have had no effect other than leaving a scar on the War Moon's surface large enough for a cruiser to enter or exit.

"Sir, Lord Clarks said that he has used up all the forbidden torpedoes allocated to him." A staff officer said with a pale face.

"I see. We still have a chance." Beads of sweat formed on Ferrus's face. Clarks's surprise attack hadn't been successful, at least not to the point of achieving its intended goal. War Moon still maintained its formidable combat capability. Meanwhile, Ferrus's second hidden arrow, launched using his own legion as bait, had also failed!

The squadron of Black Executioners and Dark Angels Relic Cruisers was also discovered. Their full suite of cloaking and psychic suppression equipment only shortened their detection range. The Randan fleet and Battle Moons quickly shifted their firepower to the second assassination squadron. Over twenty Imperial warships were besieged by a fleet five times their size. Even with the Relic Cruisers' light spears, capable of piercing ordinary warship shields, rapidly piercing their opponents, they were unable to stem the tide of the Randan fleet and drone swarms.

"Fortunately, we still have one last trick up our sleeve." Aboard the Death Cutter, an Iron Hands officer ordered the ship to immediately activate a short-range jump engine. This device allows the ship to achieve instantaneous movement over short distances. Five ships in the fleet were equipped with this device. Originally, they had planned to unleash deadly weapons like vortex torpedoes and antimatter bombs at close range, but now, it seemed they would have no choice but to use themselves as torpedoes!

"Begin the jump! Target! War Moon II's shield! Let's overload it!" With the commander's decisive command, the Death Cutter instantly vanished from space, reappearing within seconds less than a hundred kilometers from War Moon II. Ran Dan was taken aback by the sudden appearance of the target. The Death Cutter's crew could feel a massive repulsive force trying to push the battleship away! However, the Iron Hands gave them no chance. At this extremely close range, the commander detonated dozens of forbidden weapons!

First, a massive vortex appeared in the real universe and rapidly expanded. The Randan War Moon's newly restored shields once again wailed. Where the vortex and the shield intersected, streams of energy and lightning stretched for thousands of kilometers, radiating a dazzling light. Then, some special weaponry pierced through the already severely weakened shields and landed on the surface of the Randan War Moon, leaving scars that appeared narrow but were actually larger than a battleship! This was followed by a continuous cycle of explosions, creating a sea of fire spanning hundreds of square kilometers across the surface of the spherical war machine!

"It's shaking, I can feel that he's been injured!" Ferrus said excitedly. Finally, the Imperial Fleet had caused some damage to this huge guy, and then, similar attacks followed.

Then came the second, the third... In a short period of time, five warships launched their attacks using short-range jumps. However, what followed filled Ferrus with despair. While the second and third ships inflicted some damage, the fourth ship, barely appearing, was shattered by a terrifying psychic force. The Iron Hands aboard the ship didn't even have time to detonate their warheads. The fifth ship was hurled by the psychic force alongside a Randan fleet far from the War Moon. The detonation of the warships then obliterated a dozen Randan cruisers from the void!

Although the psychic power of War Moon No. 2 is far less powerful than that of War Moon No. 1, it is still enough to crush a cruiser-class battleship with a wave of its hand and discover the hidden fleet.

"We played all our cards in this round, but we only forced our opponents to retreat." Ferrus said bitterly as he watched the retreating War Moon No. 2.

The first round of engagement between the two sides was brutal, with over 300 warships of various types lost in the clash. At one point, Ferrus's flagship was in dire straits, and the Randan's battle moon also suffered considerable damage. The Randan fleet protected their flagship's retreat, while the Imperial fleet hurriedly healed its wounds. Like two exhausted giants, the two sides needed a rest after the first round of fighting before the second half.

"If War Moon Two attacks again, I'm afraid I'll have no choice but to launch a shock attack with my flagship." Ferrus sighed as he gazed at the distant War Moon, its surface scarred by blasts. The Iron Fist was also equipped with the short-range jump system developed jointly by the Space Wolves and the Iron Hands. It was also equipped with a large number of forbidden weapons. If things really reached a point of no return, Ferrus's only option would be to board the flagship, a short jump, then crash into it, with everyone boarding and either mowing down the enemy or detonating its engines, finishing everyone off.

"The situation is not that critical yet. Look over there." The Lord of Radiance pointed to the battlefield between the Endless Journey and War Moon No. 1 in the distance. At the edge of the battlefield, Ferrus could clearly see a huge arc-shaped ruined structure. If nothing unexpected happened, the Endless Journey seemed to have gained a slight advantage in the previous battle and tore off part of the structure of War Moon No. 1.

"What kind of existence is Balder?" Ferrus marveled at a fighting style he couldn't even understand. However, the thought was fleeting, as he had more important things to attend to. The first round of fighting between the two sides was about to begin. War Moon No. 2 was in the rear, and the Randan fleet regrouped and launched another attack.

"It's the psionic fog of war and electronic jamming."

"It's not a big deal. Our technicians and rune priests will quickly resolve the situation." Perhaps because the previous wave of attacks had severely damaged the War Moon, this wave of attacks was more normal. The War Moon, initially the main attacker, had become a supporting force, releasing psychic fog and electronic jammers to shield the fleet's advance. However, this level of support was only average for the Space Wolves and Iron Hands. The Iron Fist, its shields recharged, bravely led the charge. Meanwhile, the Space Wolves' long-range artillery, centered around five Splendid-class battleships, shattered the Randan fleet one by one like a game of match-5. The entire battle situation seemed to have returned to a familiar pattern for Ferrus.

Overall, Balder and Ferrus were well prepared. The Randan fleet was slightly stronger than the Imperial Navy, but weaker than the Mechanicus and some elite Legion fleets. Coupled with previous enhancements to electronic jamming and communications, the enemy's electronic warfare and communications caused some minor disruptions to inter-fleet communication, but these were minor inconveniences. In the clash of conventional fleets, Ferrus and the Space Wolves held the upper hand, but the situation was different on the right flank.

After the initial, somewhat unsuccessful sneak attack, Klax's Emperor's Shadow did not return to its main force, but instead joined Ferrus's fleet nearby. On the right flank, Guilliman and his Ultramarines were the only ones left. The weakness of the Imperial fleet's right flank had been discovered by the Elder Brain within War Moon Two. In the second round of attack, the Randan fleet focused its attack on the Ultramarines and the remaining Raven Guard on the right flank. A special, stealthy fleet, shielded by the other Randan fleets, quietly approached the Imperial fleet's right flank. When they were sufficiently close, they finally bared their terrifying tentacles and fangs!

"Something is approaching us." An officer on the Imperial battleship Warspite said, looking at the figure wandering like a ghost on the projection.

"The other warships didn't find the target, and the battleship Meditator array didn't sound the alarm. It should be some kind of interference." The captain looked at it and said.

"We should send some carrier-based aircraft to take a look." someone suggested.

"We don't have any extra forces. The previous wave of interception operations emptied our hangars." The air force commander said. However, just as they were arguing, the hunter hidden in the void finally appeared!

One by one, the small Randan spaceships, which were covered with tentacles and shaped like shuttles, began their final sprint. These small warships, ranging in length from several hundred meters to one kilometer, rushed towards Guilliman's fleet at an extremely high speed. The stealth defenses wrapped around the hull greatly weakened the effective detection range of the Imperial Fleet, and the firepower of the Ultramarines' fleet was not strong. Therefore, when these hideous-looking guys finally appeared on the side of the Ultramarines Fleet, a disaster wasfallen!

"Damn it! What is that?"

"Concentrate fire to intercept them!" Chaotic communications rang out within the fleet's internal frequency band.

As swarms of small craft emerged from the pitch-black space, they charged into the fierce firepower of the Ultramarines. As Bader had anticipated, the large anti-ship guns, with their long intervals between shots and slow reaction times, could not keep up with the high-speed movement of these targets, while the defensive turrets against carrier-based aircraft were also limited in their effectiveness. Finally, the first, squid-like craft, successfully pierced the fire net and slammed head-on into the Loyalist, a large Ultramarines cruiser.

Chapter 203 Guilliman boarded

Eight tentacles unfurled, their energy weapons slicing through them, effortlessly lifting steel plates several meters, even dozens of meters thick. Pipes and cables sprang from the tentacles, spreading like snakes through the ship's hull. They sought a point of entry into the warship and successfully connected to its internal wiring. Then, a flood of junk code and electronic viruses poured through the data link into the warship's control system. Meanwhile, groups of heavily armed Randan soldiers, driving large numbers of slaves, launched a boarding attack. A few minutes later, the large cruiser, the Loyal Warrior, became the first large Imperial warship to fall under Randan control!

"Damn it, the Unwavering is firing at us!" The first target chosen by the controlled Imperial battleship was a nearby cruiser full of Ultramarines. The fierce macro-cannon firepower quickly paralyzed the battleship, but fortunately the Unwavering had just completed a round of torpedo salvos and the next round of torpedoes had not yet been loaded, allowing the cruiser to escape the disaster temporarily, allowing the Space Marines and some crew members to escape the soon-to-be-destroyed battleship in shuttles and lifeboats.

However, as soon as the first ship was launched, a second followed. A swarm of warships rushed the Ultramarines fleet. Some were destroyed in the final sprint, but a considerable number successfully rammed the larger warships of the Ultramarines and the Mechanicus. The Randan boarding tactics were clearly far superior to those of regular Imperial legions. Their boarding teams, slaughtering the crew, used their superior skills to seize control of the warships, then turned their fire on the friendly forces they had just fought alongside. The Randan fleet had chosen a strategic point of attack, avoiding the Iron Hands and Space Wolves fleets, whose advanced detection equipment, psychic-assisted detection, and formidable firepower would likely result in a loss.

The Ultramarines were in a very awkward situation. Their large warships were all in the Imperial Navy, which lacked Space Marines and had very weak anti-boarding capabilities. Most of the Legion's warships carrying Space Marines were cruisers... The Randan fleet would definitely board the large ships first!

"Damn it! How could this happen?!" Guilliman looked at the fleeting bright spots on the tactical projection, and he felt his heart bleeding. That was his fleet. Just a few days ago, he set out with his fleet with great enthusiasm. This was his first battle after returning to the Empire. He believed that he could lead this fleet from Macragge to return in triumph and bring victory and glory to his subjects.

However, reality proved harsh. The battle between the Endless Journey and the War Moon of Randan I was beyond Guilliman's comprehension. Unable to even offer assistance, they could only watch as two terrifying entities clashed in the distant void. Ferrus's Iron Hands and Space Wolves, however, lived up to their reputation as elite legions. Led by the Iron Fist, Ferrus's fleet overwhelmed the Randan's standard fleet. Even when a second War Moon appeared, the Iron Hands' fierce and precise strikes inflicted heavy damage.

What made Guilliman feel ashamed was that the problem finally arose in the fleet he was responsible for. His fleet could neither detect the targets in advance nor have enough firepower to destroy them, and could not even prevent them from boarding.

"Order the Macragge to charge and block the front of all warships," Guilliman said after a moment's contemplation. "Order all warships carrying Space Marines to immediately use their transport equipment to launch a counterattack and recapture or destroy those controlled warships."

"Captain Duke, I order you to take a squadron and immediately rescue the battleship Emperor's Mercy!"

"Ramon, as my father's most trusted squire, I hope you can recapture the battleship Loyalty Commandment on my behalf."

"Tell Ferrus I will complete this mission with my life. The Iron Hands may dispatch their commander to temporarily take control of the Mechanicum and Raven Guard fleets on the right wing." Guilliman began issuing orders. Although the situation was critical, Guilliman still saw a glimmer of hope. The Randan fleet, having captured the Imperial warships, posed a significant threat, but the chaotic situation also hampered the Randan fleet's firepower. Both sides quickly engaged in a chaotic battle.

Guilliman's strategy was simple: as long as he held his ground and contained the chaos within his own fleet, he could at least temporarily secure the center and left flank. Therefore, Guilliman decided to use his flagship as bait, drawing the enemy's attack. Guilliman was confident the Randan aliens would not abandon such a formidable target. With a large number of squid warships drawn to his position, the pressure on the entire fleet would be greatly reduced. As for what to do next, Guilliman could only rely on Ferrus or Balder's assistance.

"My apologies, venerable Primarch, my duty is to ensure your safety." Just as Guilliman had issued a series of orders, Ramon objected. He remained beside Guilliman, but unlike his usual elegant appearance in robes, Ramon now wore a unique set of gold and blue power armor. The elegance of the gold and the mystery of the blue blended perfectly. Unlike the ornate appearance of ordinary Custodian armor, Ramon's power armor was covered in mysterious runes and had simpler patterns. Completely armored, Ramon stood over three meters tall, standing out from the crowd of Legionnaires.

"You are disobeying my orders!" Guilliman turned and said angrily.

"The Emperor's mission is to ensure your safety, my lord. I must stand by your side at all times," said Ramon.

"I need no protection from you, carry out your mission. Emperor's Servant," Guilliman said loudly.

"You can appeal to the Emperor after the war. But not now." Ramon's calm tone revealed an inability to compromise.

"I will appeal." Guilliman stared at Ramon for a moment before returning to the tactical projection and throwing himself into the fray. Guilliman's tactical prowess was still respectable, though not quite on par with some of his comrades. He gathered the fleets that hadn't been controlled and ordered the cruisers carrying Space Marines to transport their personnel to other large Imperial warships. The Randan aliens had limited numbers of squid assault ships, and they looked down upon the frail cruisers. While the deployed Space Marines' large warships couldn't quite overcome the Randan fleet's sudden attack, they did hold out longer.

The Macragge's Glory bravely rushed to the front lines, only to be met with fierce fire from the Randan fleet and a swarm of Squid Assault Ships that swarmed like piranhas. At 26 kilometers long, the Macragge's Glory was one of the largest warships even among the Glorious Queens. Its multilayered array of guns, lances, and swarms of aircraft protected the entire fleet. Countless Randan aircraft and assault ships were shattered in mid-air by the fierce fire. However, in the end, a Randan assault ship managed to ram into the Ultramarines' flagship. As the gates opened, a vast horde of alien slaves burst forth from the breach, and fierce combat ensued on every deck.

"Team 15, go to the engine room and support the defenders there."

"Teams 10 and 12, seal the breach on Deck 5 and drive those aliens off the battleship."

"Sage Canon, maintain contact with the Machine Spirit of the battleship. Do not allow the aliens to seize control of this glorious warship." Following Guilliman's orders, teams of Space Marines were deployed aboard the massive battleship to block the enemy. As the flagship of the Ultramarines, with the assistance of numerous Mechanicus Magi and Techmarines, they repelled the repeated electronic attacks of the Randan aliens.

"Which one is the native species of the Randan alien? I saw no less than ten kinds of aliens. However, it seems that they have all been seen by the Empire." Guilliman said as he looked at the battle situation on each floor of the battleship.

"This is just a vanguard battle, their main force will be here soon." Ramon felt the fluctuation of psychic energy in the space. Suddenly, he felt a huge amount of psychic energy brewing on one of the Randan assault ships, and the target was aimed at the bridge of the Macragge!

"Raise the soul barrier, quick!" Ramon commanded, and six Ultramarines, aided by mortal psykers, immediately raised their pre-prepared psychic shields. However, just as the shields enveloped the command bridge, a psychic strike descended from the sky, instantly transforming the shield from pale blue to a dazzling white. Many mortals who witnessed this momentarily lost their sight. Even the Space Marines were blinded by the bright flash!

"There's a crack in the shield, they're coming!" Along with the aura of teleportation, a group of tall, forward-leaning, huge humanoid creatures covered with black shells appeared on the bridge.

"Destroy the aliens!" The first to react and launch a counterattack were the two extinction machines sponsored by the Lord of Radiance! The two AIs, originally disguised as humanoids, launched the first attack. Then, two thick beams of light swept across the Randan elite who had just rushed out.

"Holy crap! A Chinese-style extermination cannon!" The nearby Ultramarion soldiers were stunned. They couldn't understand how something supposedly mounted on a heavy tank could be integrated into a machine less than three meters tall. The terrifyingly powerful weapon not only vaporized several Randan soldiers but also blasted a massive hole through the wall behind them.

Immediately afterwards, the Randan Bone Eaters launched their attack, most of them targeting the two Extinction Machines. They wielded powerful electromagnetic radiation weapons, unleashing streaks of green lightning. A hit would reduce even a war machine as powerful as the Dreadnought to a pile of black debris. The two Extinction Machines, however, relied on their Dark Ages shields to stubbornly block the attack.

The recovered Extreme Warriors immediately began to form a defensive line, firing dense rain of bullets from their bolters. However, this standard weapon of Space Marines was nothing but a joke in the face of the personal energy shield of the Randan alien. The bombs created ripples on the shield.

"We can't penetrate their shields!"

"All tactical teams, operate heavy weapons, send the Terminators up." Under Hill's command, the Ultramarines quickly searched for nearby heavy weapons, while the Terminators, armed with autocannons, gravity cannons, and lasers, bravely took the front lines. Twenty elite warriors clad in Centurion Terminator armor, each holding a storm shield in one hand and an autocannon loaded with specialized ammunition in the other, swept across the enemy. The electronic radiation weapons of the Randan aliens also emitted a terrifying roar from the vast command bridge.

Dense energy beams and missiles darted back and forth, quickly reducing at least six Centurion Terminators to ash by the Randan xenomorphs, while no fewer than ten elite warriors fell on the opposing side. The two Extinction Relics became the core of the entire battle line, bearing immense pressure, wielding firepower no less than that of heavy tanks, dispatching any who dared to challenge them.

"Let's lead the charge together and break through the right flank, and we'll be able to break through the enemy lines." Guilliman observed the situation within the command bridge and prepared to personally take the lead. He had no ranged weapons, and the firepower of the Hand of Domination in his left hand was far inferior to the Destruction Cannon of the Extinction Relic, which made him want to engage in close combat.

After the initial chaos, the two sides re-formed a single battle line. The Randan Bone Eaters had gradually destroyed the psychic shielding on the bridge, and more and more enemies were teleporting into the battlefield. However, thanks to the powerful Extinction Relics and the continuous influx of Centurion Terminators and Iron Wolves, the two sides were able to fight evenly. Now Guilliman wanted to push out and quickly eliminate his opponents.

"My lord, the most terrifying enemy has not yet appeared, and the difficult battle has just begun." Ramon suddenly pulled Guilliman back. The latter was surprised to find that this emperor's guard could pull him when he was not prepared!

"Psionics, my lord Primarch. Those capable of shattering the Space Wolves' psychic shields with pure psychic attacks have yet to appear. They are the most terrifying. They are seeking the opportunity to strike a decisive blow. And you are the most important person on this front," Ramon explained. "We should immediately prepare more teleportation beacons. My colleagues and more mechanical guards will arrive here."

Ramon remained silent, wielding a psychic weapon similar to the Custodes' halberd, guarding Guilliman's side, fearful of any potential danger. He could sense the approach of the greatest threat. Within his psychic perception, he could sense massive shadows looming, eager to strike!

Guilliman was also ready for battle, his right hand already drawn with his dagger, and the territories on his left hand, the Hand of Domination, had already opened up, and the territories were crackling and exploding. Guilliman, who had been constantly defeated in the previous battle, was eager to wash away the shame of defeat with the blood of his opponent!

Chapter 204 Clarks' Reinforcements

"Destruction! Death or surrender!" Suddenly, a terrifying, distorted voice echoed in almost everyone's mind. A moment later, within the Ultramarines' defenses, dazzling flashes of psychic energy suddenly appeared. As everyone was stunned and at a loss, terrifying psychic shockwaves unleashed an indiscriminate assault on the Imperial lines. The psychic surge, like a tide, shredded nearby people and material, and inflicted severe mental damage to nearly everyone in the distance. At least 4% of the mortal soldiers perished in this onslaught. Even more, their consciousness and perception distorted, twitched and chanted blasphemous names, even turning their weapons on nearby allies.

"Damn it, they're coming!" Ramon quickly infused his psychic energy into the area. His halberd shone brightly, and combined with the previously deployed psychic defenses, he managed to create a defensive barrier in a corner of the command room. The Randan Brain Eater's psychic charge collided with Ramon's psychic energy on the surface of the barrier. Multicolored lightning streaked through the air.

When the enemy's first round of attacks ended, Guilliman finally spotted his opponents. This wave consisted of five Brain Eaters, tall and slender, clad in robes embellished with purple and green patterns. Their bodies were shrouded in terrifying psychic lightning. They wielded dark green staffs, their fingers slender and tipped with claws, and webbed between them. What most irritated Guilliman was their heads. They had no noses, but instead, where and below them were supposed to be, four to six tentacles of varying lengths. Like the demons described in ancient Terran texts, their tentacles swayed constantly, occasionally emitting streams of terrifying psychic energy.

As soon as these most terrifying assassins of Randan landed, two of them immediately attacked the Extinction Relic, which had been on a killing spree. The latter's reaction speed was quick enough, and in a fraction of a second, it aimed its weapon at the distant Brain Eater. The attack of the Neutron Killer Cannon was absorbed by the opponent's psychic shield. Then, the Brain Eater's staff shot out a dazzling dark green psychic light, so powerful that it shook the shield that had been almost indestructible.

The other three Brain Eaters targeted Ramon and Guilliman. With another flash of light, the three charged forward. They launched their initial Psychic Blast, a terrifying psychic pressure that no mortal could withstand. Even the Space Marines, with their fortified bodies and minds, were no match for the sudden onslaught of psychic energy.

The three Brain Eaters had clear division of labor. One faced Ramon, another rushed towards Guilliman, and the last one was killing the Ultramarines beside Guilliman.

“Die, alien!” Guilliman aimed his Hand of Domination at the Brain Eater floating in the air. The Brain Eater had six tentacles on its head, two of which were very long, at 1.5 meters. The ammunition fired by the Hand of Domination created a barrage in the air. Shells rained down on the target. However, the opponent suddenly disappeared from the air, leaving behind an afterimage at his original position. He then reappeared on the other side, the staff and two long tentacles in his hands dancing constantly, and dark green beams swept towards the Primarch. Guilliman rushed towards the distant enemy at a speed beyond the limit of the Space Marines. The defensive stance was activated on the power armor customized by the Mechanicus, deflecting the attacking psychic energy. Just as Guilliman jumped high and his fist was about to hit the opponent's head, the latter disappeared from the air again!

"I've fallen for a trick!" When the Brain Eater reappeared from the other side of the battlefield, he was surprised to find that Guilliman had also disappeared from the battlefield. A moment later, a huge blue figure appeared behind him. Just as the opponent was teleporting, Guilliman caught his trail and activated his own teleportation. Even the powerful Brain Eater could not teleport continuously in a short period of time, and this time Guilliman seized the opportunity.

The psychic sword in his right hand fiercely stabbed at the distant enemy. However, the Brain Eater's white eyes glanced at him indifferently, his long beard dancing, and a psychic ...

Then, the distant Brain Eater shifted, and two identical figures appeared on the battlefield. Their dancing tentacles and staffs aimed at the Primarch, firing off streams of psychic spells. Their nearly identical movements made it difficult for the Primarch to distinguish which was the real one.

The Primarch once again raised his ruling hand and fired a barrage of explosives into the distance. The Brain Eater wisely kept a distance and could not take down the Primarch who moved as fast as lightning. But he knew that as long as he could delay, he could win! Because at this moment, his companions were killing people!

"Touch of Oblivion!" Ramon roared, his psychic halberd gleaming with terrifying psychic energy. Then, a powerful spell, draining nearly all of his psychic energy, erupted, annihilating the distant Brain Eater. He surveyed the battlefield, where the strongest Brain Eater was playing hide-and-seek with Guilliman. Meanwhile, another Brain Eater had already dispatched the twenty-odd Ultramarines and two Dreadnoughts that had remained with Guilliman.

In the distance, an Extinction Relic and a Brain Eater were trapped in a different dimension. From the real universe, you could see the other side, but both lasers and physical ammunition would pass through them, like flowers in the mirror and the moon in the water. However, the other Extinction Relic seemed to be in a worse situation. It disappeared from the battlefield, perhaps teleported to another corner of the battleship by the enemy using psychic energy.

"Damn it, three against two!" Ramon calculated the strength of both sides. He couldn't count on that idiot Guilliman, as the enemy didn't even give him a chance to engage in close combat. Even though Guilliman's armor was stacked high enough, he was still often forced back by the powerful psychic energy.

Facing two Overlord-level Brain Eaters simultaneously, he was probably doomed. After killing his opponent, Ramon extracted a portion of his memories and breathed a sigh of relief. The five Brain Eaters who had participated in the first wave of the assault were no ordinary creatures. Four of them were extremely powerful among the Brain Eaters, known as Overlords within the Randan community. And the one currently battling the Primarch was even more powerful than just a normal Brain Eater. They were known as Soul Eaters, capable of accumulating enough energy and, through a special ritual, transforming into Dark Masterminds!

At this moment, a flash of psychic energy appeared again, and a new group of brain eaters appeared on the battlefield, but the quality of this wave was somewhat poor. Just when Ramon was almost in despair, a teleportation light also lit up in his own position. A nimble black figure flew past before the light faded, so fast that Ramon could only see a blur.
