"And don't worry about the technical aspects, I'm here," said Bader.

"I feel at ease with you here." Ruth said with a smile.

"By the way, what are your plans after the battle in the Flaming Wheel sector? Will we collaborate more extensively with allies?" Russ asked. Honestly, having help, especially from professionals, is a truly satisfying experience. It's far better than the Space Wolves scrambling for aliens on their own. Russ is a sincere man, so he wondered if he could recruit more reinforcements in the future.

"Hmmmm." Baldur fell into deep thought, considering where he could recruit men. Let's start with the larger Legions. Forget the First Legion. These original Astartes were incredibly arrogant. Even facing their Primarch, Lion Jonson, they didn't show the same reverence as the officers and soldiers of other Legions. They had a strange, complex, and even somewhat insane internal system. It was clearly impossible to recruit them to work for the Space Wolves; at best, they could cooperate.

Then there are Horus's Luna Wolves, currently the largest of the Legions, encompassing his own Sixteenth, the Third, and most of the Fourteenth. Attacking them would essentially risk a falling out with Horus, and they would likely fight alongside the Luna Wolves for a long time before the Third Legion regained its strength. As for the Nineteenth Legion, according to Balder's prediction, with Klax's return, the Nineteenth would soon become independent.

However, Baldur had no intention of recruiting Akarin. The Space Wolves were currently mired in secrets, and collaborating with a Primarch so adept at stealth... was somewhat unfavorable. Even a single Radiant Lord AI was a real hassle. There were some things you could do, but it was best kept secret. However, Ferrus could be considered for leadership. After all, the Iron Hands excelled at frontal combat, while Klax excelled at stealth. Well, their compatibility wasn't bad.

Ferrus was also a kind man, and with Clarks' cooperation, the cooperation between the two sides was even more powerful. This would always put more pressure on Horus, and the greater the pressure from Ferrus, the easier it would be for him.

Then there are the legions whose primarchs have returned or are about to return, namely the current 7th Legion, later known as the Salamanders, the th Legion (U-League), the th Legion (Blood Angels), the th Legion (Imperial Fists) and the th Legion (Thousand Sons).

Trying to recruit from these Legions is unrealistic. After all, their Primarchs have returned, and holding onto their troops is clearly illogical. Furthermore, the IX Legion, before Sanguinius's transformation, was even more notorious than the Space Wolves. So, forget about recruiting from them. As for the Fifteenth Legion, those who understand understand, even the Emperor is aware of it. So, while they're still considering the issue of Magnus, forget about it.

Besides these legions, there were a few that couldn't be pulled in. The first was naturally the 20th Legion, later known as the Alpha Legion. How dare you pull them in? If you don't, they'll be trying to infiltrate. These guys, who play covert operations, entangle themselves in them, and don't know if they're loyal or treacherous, are the best spies. In the field of special warfare, the Raven Guard and Night Lords are nothing compared to them! What's more, these Hydras are incredibly powerful head-on!

Balder promised that if the Alpha Legion rebelled again, he would make them pay the price!

The Word Bearers were equally uneasy to win over the 17th Legion. These legions, well, they were inherently fanatical, descended from the defeated, organized into legions to atone for their sins, and thus somewhat possessed of demonic powers. Furthermore, Lorgar, the Primarch, aside from his inability to fight, his inherent weakness, and his faith in false gods, possessed a formidable temperament, personality, abilities, and strategy. Playing tricks with this "chosen one" of the Four Gods was no easy feat. It wasn't a matter of being unable to outmaneuver them, but rather a fear of their superior. Lorgar himself possessed a strong devotion to the gods, and it wasn't impossible for him to uncover some of Baldur's secrets, a fact Baldur didn't want to trouble himself with right now.

So, with these legions plus the Space Wolves themselves, and the two legions that cannot be mentioned, there are not many left to consider. One is naturally Boss Pi's Fourth Legion, the Khan's Fifth Legion, the Eighth Legion later known as the Night Lords, and the Twelfth Warhound Legion.

The Khan would consider returning as soon as possible, and Balder would personally handle the establishment of ties with the Fifth Legion. As for the Night Lords of the Eighth Legion... Balder considered his need for a group of obedient warriors. Therefore, considering the order of the Primarch's return and the Legion's characteristics, if they were to fight alongside the Space Wolves for a long time and survive the crucial Battle of Randal, the choices seemed to remain the Fourth and Twelfth Legions.

Baldur had no plans to bring LeBlanc back early, as he hadn't yet prepared for some things. As for Angron, Baldur sympathized with him, but directly confronting Khorne? As for what to do next, we'll see.

"Let's go with the Fourth and Twelfth Legions. They have more people and are very compatible with us." Balder said after thinking for a while.

"I think so too. They cooperated with us very well. If I could meet their Primarch in the future, I would thank them and show some appreciation." Russ and Balder had similar ideas.

"Ehmmmm. I'll go with you," Balder said, his words a double entendre. Whether he went there to express gratitude or to fight, that depended on the situation. I guess Boss Pi could still persuade him, but if it was King Slash, he'd probably have to use physical force. After all, Boss Pi had a brain; he couldn't face both Russ and Balder at once. As for Angron? That was harder to say. If he really got angry, he'd just charge in. And the most infuriating thing was, Balder and Russ couldn't kill him!

"In the future, the Space Wolves will inevitably fight together with other Primarch brothers. Do you have any ideas or suggestions? Ferrus once mentioned to me that he hopes that after the Space Wolves Legion ends the battle in the Flaming Wheel sector, the two legions can act together." Russ said.

"Well... then you have to work hard. There are a lot of things to do at home." Balder said half seriously and half jokingly.

"Well, I know you're teasing me, even though there aren't any curse words in it! But I'm really annoyed!" Russ bared his teeth and flexed his fist. It was obvious that Balder was reminding himself to quickly speed up the Space Wolves' military development. At least when the two Primarchs met for the first time, the Space Wolves' level would be something Ferrus would be impressed with.

"I was wrong..." Balder quickly admitted his mistake, though there was no sincerity in his words.

"We can cooperate with the Iron Hands Legion for a period of time. But I don't think it will last long." Balder said after thinking for a while.

"Anything else?" Ruth asked.

"Yes, many things, some of which were arranged personally by the Sigillite. And I have a feeling we might be facing the greatest challenge of the Great Crusade," Balder said. Having a teacher is a blessing; he can truly shoulder the blame. After the battle in the Flame Wheel sector, Balder's first priority was to deal with the gift from the Lord of Radiance. Then there was the Khan's issue. Furthermore, he had previously sent the Figure King, Trazyn, to investigate the Randan aliens; he should be back soon, so some things needed to be prepared. Russ couldn't handle these tasks; he had to do them himself.

"What a shame," Russ sighed after hearing this. He didn't ask any further questions, though. He knew his ally had a close relationship with the Sigillite, and since there were things he couldn't handle, he simply didn't ask. Brains are a good thing, but sometimes, not having them can save you a lot of trouble.

"If there is a chance, you can visit the other Primarchs on my behalf. I know about Horus's affairs. He did something wrong, but I have to say that some of my brothers think too highly of themselves, while others are courteous. I don't care about Terra's affairs, but it is necessary for us to interact with other Primarchs. For example, Vulkan of the 18th Legion, he is said to be a very good forging master. I think you will have a lot in common with him." Russ reminded at last.

"There's time," Balder said.

"I heard that my father already knows about my thirteenth brother's situation? He was born in a civilized world and became the king of this world. Under his talent and governance, the whole world is civilized and prosperous. He is loved by his subordinates and the people, and has demonstrated extraordinary talents." Rus spoke again. This was mentioned by the latter during a communication with the Seal Holder.

"Teacher has mentioned this to me before. However, the Emperor may not have the time to retrieve this Primarch yet," Baldur said after a moment's thought. According to the context, Guilliman was the eighth Primarch to return, and now that Vulkan has returned, he is the sixth, followed by Dorn and Guilliman. With his own reminder, the Emperor will expedite the Primarch's recovery process, so, barring any unforeseen circumstances, Guilliman will be back soon.

"I feel that my brother is also an easy-going person. After he returns, you can visit him on my behalf." Ruth thought for a while and said.

"Okay, I will." Balder did want to meet Guilliman.

Obviously, as a king, although Rus was born in the wilderness, he still has some basic qualities. He has begun to consider who he can get along with in the future, who his temperament is incompatible with, but he also has to maintain superficial harmony. As for who he should stay away from, at least for now, Rus has no such idea.

"By the way, is the ground combat plan on Charon ready?" Rus asked.

"Not quite there yet," said Balder.

"Then hurry up and do it!" Ruth ordered them to leave. Although they were brothers, they still had to settle accounts with their brothers when doing work!

Balder glared.

"What are you looking at? Why don't you deal with these?" Ruth pointed to the piles of documents on the table.

"I'll go right away..." Balder decisively backed off.

Chapter 148: Prologue to the Battle of Charon (6K)

The vast Imperial fleet sailed through the waves of the Warp. Russ's flagship, the Heracles Fenr, was surrounded by the main fleet. Balder's Endless Journey, with its own fleet and part of the Mechanicum's fleet, led the way.

"It's almost time. Everyone, get ready to jump as planned." Balder, who was sitting on the throne, suddenly opened his eyes and said to all his subordinates.

"As you command, Your Excellency, Supreme Lord Commander." His subordinates immediately made final preparations to escape the Warp. As immense energy tore through the veil between reality and the void, the massive fleet emerged from the Warp. This time, while they didn't bypass Mandeville Point directly like last time and engage the planet, Balder's command minimized the impact of the fleet's entry into the real universe.

This time, the Balder fleet's jump was equally flawless. As the tunnel opened, the fleet, already in battle formation, swiftly and steadily passed through the tunnel. They emerged perfectly positioned, flank a defensive line comprised of an Ork fleet, mines, and a small defensive station. The fleet's movement was swift and seamless, with many warships even aiming their turrets at distant targets as they disengaged.

"A perfect Matrix exit!" Torgaddon exclaimed in admiration as he watched his fleet emerge from the void. Fleets maintain a fixed formation during navigation, but this formation can shift when entering and exiting the Warp. Only in rare cases, under the guidance of an experienced navigator, can a fleet maintain this stable formation. This exit process, which depends on both skill and luck, is known within the Legion as a Matrix Transition. Once in the physical universe, there's no need to adjust formation or waste time clearing away the interference of Warp energy; one can immediately move into action or engage in battle!

"Although situations like the one involving Belos 5 are extremely rare, situations like today's are very common in Lord Bader's fleet. Obviously, Lord Bader has his own unique way to accurately calibrate the track." Sejanus said thoughtfully.

"And what of the other companies of the Space Wolves?" asked Torgaddon.

"It seems some of the Rune Priests within the Space Wolves have also received this type of training. They've managed to perform a perfect Matrix Exit, but it's rare," Sejanus said after a moment's thought. Sejanus understood this situation. After all, people are different, and for most people, even if you were taught something, they might not understand it.

"Okay, get to work! They're firing!"

Thus, the defending Orc fleet unexpectedly suffered a preemptive strike on their home turf! Dense shells and beams illuminated the pitch-black universe. As a rain of steel and destruction fell, half the defense line was engulfed in flames and explosions! After the Orc fleet was temporarily suppressed by the sudden attack, Russ finally appeared with the main force of the fleet. The ensuing space battle was a foregone conclusion. Under the sheer force of their power, the rest of the battle was a matter of routine.

"Next, the Primarch will command the entire space battle, and all landing troops will prepare to rendezvous with the Titan transport fleet." Looking at the gradually stabilizing space battle situation, Balder ordered.

Russ then took over the entire space operation. Balder and the personnel preparing for the landing arrived aboard the Thunder Titan, the Abyssal VIII Titan transport. By this time, this massive warship was packed with over 80 Titans of various types, primarily from the Abyssal VIII and the Martian Legion, with a smaller number of Titans from the Lucius Forge World. The Righteous Fury, a Warlord Titan controlled by the Lord of Radiance, was also among them.

"Is everything ready?" Bader looked at Dukain.

"If the Wolf King can clear the Orc fleet in space as planned and provide sufficient firepower support for the landing battle, then everything will be fine," said Du Kain.

"That's good. I hope everything goes well." Balder looked out the window at several specially designed ships. To ensure the safety of the first landing troops, Dukain once again employed his renowned tactics. He would first force several specially designed ships to land directly on the planet's surface, using their firepower and defenses as a "shield" for the landing troops. They would absorb the initial wave of Ork attacks and, like a magnet, draw Ork troops in from all directions. Then, under the assault of naval guns and carrier-based aircraft, they would inflict heavy casualties on the enemy. Next, a large number of Titans and ground troops would land, and then push back.

Initially, Dukain had acted swiftly, throwing a regular navy warship into the Ork horde. He erected a fortress several kilometers long on the ground, relying on the warship's firepower and the mortal troops to successfully hold off the initial attack. This time, Dukain adapted his tactics, employing specialized ships. Unnecessary for Warp navigation (towed by other warships), the massive and dangerous Warp engines were eliminated. The hull structure and various ground combat weaponry were reinforced, along with enhanced void shields. The propulsion system was kept to a minimum, and the ships were significantly smaller: three warships a little over a kilometer long.

"When airdropping warships, increase the number of covering fighter jets by 30%." Bader thought for a moment and said.

"Then the aircraft inventory in our fleet hangar will be very tight," Dukain frowned. "Has something else happened?" Dukain knew that Bader had a strong ability to predict the future, but predictions were still predictions. Under normal circumstances, Bader's predictions might differ slightly from the facts.

"Prophecy and counter-prophecy is a spiral battle. You can predict your opponent's actions, and your opponent can also predict yours. The prediction and subsequent actions will be intertwined and interfere with each other. So we have to keep adjusting and changing." Balder looked at the planet covered by a layer of waaaagh stance.

"Spiritual connections are such a thorny matter," Balder said, shaking his head. The Warhammer universe is filled with powerful, even transcendental beings. Some achieve their power through their own abilities and beliefs, like the Emperor and the Traveler. Some are relics of antiquity, like the Bean Sprout God and the Evil God. Others achieve their power through the spiritual connections within their own tribes. The Orcs, for example, are a case in point. A vast number of Orcish spirits and psychic energy converge to form a unique spiritual realm. While it lacks a dominant ideology, its sheer size is overwhelming. Without the use of divine power and essence, Balder's prophecy lacks an overwhelming advantage.

"Okay, after completing the first wave of transportation, our second wave of transportation will be carried out by you opening the portal and airdropping. After two waves of transportation, we will be able to withstand the opponent's first wave of attack. After severely damaging the opponent, we will launch an attack on the Rust Industrial Belt. By this time, the Primarch's fleet should have achieved some results, right?" Du Kain looked at Balder. He had a vague feeling that Russ did not seem to be as reliable as Balder in fighting.

"It will be fine. However, considering the fleet's supply situation and rotation, as well as the suppression of the core positions, we will have to rely on ourselves after entering the ground battle."

"Are you planning to board a Titan yourself?" Du Kain asked.

"Yes, Lucius Forge World has prepared a very good war machine for me, the Righteous Fury. I think it is very good, so I want to give it a try. After all, we will have our own Titan Legion in the future, and we also need to accumulate some experience." Balder said with a smile.

Never mind the difficulty of Titan Link technology; for a skilled psychic, it's no problem. Thousand Sons wizards can remotely control Titans, so Balder could easily control a Titan equipped with an ancient AI. Gaining experience is only one aspect; Balder also needs more communication with the Lord of Radiance.

"My Lord, all the commanders have arrived." Just then, a servant interrupted their conversation. Elites from various legions gathered once again on the Endless Journey. A massive landing battle was about to begin.

"Ladies and gentlemen, on behalf of the Space Wolves Legion and the Primarch, I am honored to invite you to participate in this battle. After this battle, the Flaming Wheel sector will be incorporated into the territory of the Empire. Humanity, as the new dominant civilization in the galaxy, our destiny will take a step further! Victory and glory await us. The Empire and the recorders will record everything that happened today. Even after ten thousand years, the entire galaxy and humanity will still remember the efforts we have made. Humanity, glory will live forever!" Balder carried out the final war mobilization.

"For Humanity, for the Emperor!" thunderous shouts echoed in the hangar.

"It's great to be young." Meanwhile, in a corner of the hangar, Trazyn, disguised as a Grand Sage of the Mechanicum, looked at the energetic and motivated younger generation in the distance and couldn't help but exclaim in admiration and envy. He had been without the thing called emotion for too long.

"Let me repeat the order of attack. The Space Wolves, the Fourth Legion, the Twelfth Legion and their assigned Titans will launch the first round of attacks. After we hold off the enemy's counterattack, Sejanus's troops will cooperate with the Fast Titan Legion and part of the Space Wolves to launch an attack on the Rust Industrial Belt. This is our first-stage goal. As for the Air Force, all fighter units will be under my unified command. Do you understand?" asked Balder.

"Understood! We will live up to our mission!" Everyone responded in thunderous voices.

"Let us begin," Balder said finally.

------------

Meanwhile, in the void, Russ had already essentially emptied the starfields surrounding Charon. Aside from a few fleets from the Great Company pursuing them, the remaining fleets had already begun their assault on the planet's fortress. Hundreds of warships launched their assault on the planet's largest continent. Every second, a dense hail of fire from thousands of artillery pieces and lances descended upon the Ork-occupied world. If it were just an ordinary planet, the firepower unleashed by the Imperial fleet would be enough to shatter the continental plates of this habitable world, or even evaporate entire oceans!

However, the Imperial fleet's bombardment had little effect against the planetary-scale void shield. A dense hail of bullets struck the shield's surface, creating ripples. Supported by the city-sized geothermal and plasma generators buried deep underground by the Orks, the Imperial fleet's firepower was limited to within acceptable limits for the Orks.

Beyond the core positions, however, the situation elsewhere was less favorable. While Russ was holding the enemy at bay, he also deployed a considerable fleet to launch an orbital bombardment against the area surrounding the landing site. The intense and ferocious barrage overwhelmed the enemy's shields within the allotted timeframe. Then, destructive plasma shells and light spears swept across the ground like a torrential rainstorm, reducing vast orcish tribes, square kilometers of buildings, factories, and other structures to ash. As the fleet moved, a deadly ash belt formed on the ground, so distinct that it could be seen even from tens of thousands of kilometers away in space.

"The orbital bombardment is going very smoothly, sir. We expect to complete the planned suppression mission in half an hour." The attendant reported to Bader.

"Very good, tell the Primarch we're ready to depart at any moment." Meanwhile, preparations for the landing fleets had reached their final stages. Over a dozen aircraft carriers began releasing a swarm of intra-atmospheric aircraft into the void. Swordtail fighters, Thunder Swords, and Lightning Bolts, along with mortal and Legion aircraft, were ejected and then reorganized in the void. The landing battle had begun, and everything entered the countdown.

Three specialized warships, intended to be deployed as "landing craft," were gradually entering orbit. These landing craft were disposable; once on the ground, they could not be moved or launched again. They could not be dropped like a brick, but rather follow a smooth, diagonal path, ultimately landing in a suitable target area. During this process, thousands of aircraft, including Bear gunships, would provide cover for the landing operation. Bader even prepared several genuine Sky Surveyor aerospace strike units to prevent any unforeseen circumstances.

"Get ready, brothers!" With the flash of transmission, Bader and his followers were successfully transferred to the landing craft. Then, with the issuance of the general attack order, groups of fighter jets first rushed towards the blue planet, and three landing craft that were 1.2 to 1.5 kilometers long also began to slowly accelerate towards the planet.

------------

"It's a group of orc fighters! A large number of orc fighters!"

"Storm. Langya, Hu Feng, all interceptor wings prepare to engage!"

"Notify the Thunder Hammer Wing back there to get their Stormbirds ready." As the Imperial fighters roared down, the Orks reacted quickly. Flocks of aircraft, crafted from scrap copper, iron, and various other materials, soared into the sky, propelled by engines that belched billowing smoke and sparks. Some of the less fortunate or less shoddy aircraft disintegrated mid-flight, transforming into giant fireworks.

Fighter planes from several Imperial wings formed a vast arc in the air. Behind them lay Stormbird gunships, equipped with void shields and a vast array of weaponry. Further behind them were descending "landing craft." As the two fleets collided, the roar of countless lasers, missiles, and autocannons filled the sky. The first round of the clash was bloody. Swarms of aircraft were destroyed by shells and missiles fired from multiple directions. The continuous explosions formed a wall of flames in the air, swirling through the atmosphere like a fiery dragon, as the fleets moved.

"Tell Hu Feng Wing to temporarily release some Ork fighters to relieve the pressure on the front." Multiple datapads hovered before Bader, reflecting intelligence gathered from all directions. The Ork fleet was vast. Although the Imperials had superior pilots and better aircraft, engaging a swarm of Ork aircraft in a confined airspace was a tremendous burden. The Ork aircraft were rudimentary, but they were fast and powerful. Various dart guns and gremlin missiles tore through Imperial fighters one after another.

In order to allow more of his own aircraft to join the battle, Balder opened an opening for the orcs in certain directions, and then groups of orc planes poured in and collided head-on with the Stormbirds that were ready for battle!

The Stormbirds, with their shields and barbed guns, were more suited to Orks, a race that relied on aircraft for bayonet warfare. Facing energy shields rivaling those of Warhound Titans, the Ork fighters' da-da rifles could only create a tiny ripple. Swarms of greenskin fighters charged forward like moths to a flame, only to be blasted to pieces by a dense barrage of twin lasers, autocannons, and missile launchers.

"To be honest, in the aerial battle, the aircraft groups of both sides still used automatic cannons and lasers to engage in dogfights within visual range. I feel very uncomfortable." Bader suddenly spoke.

"Is there something wrong? We have fought like this before." Du Kain said next to him.

"Huh, actually, if possible, I hope to shoot down the enemy plane from dozens or even hundreds of kilometers away," Bader said.

"Well... that's a matter for the future. If we can develop this new type of aircraft, then we will definitely be able to change the landscape of combat within the atmosphere, just like the Bear gunship," Du Kain said.

"Ehmm." Balder was truly at a loss for words when it came to Warhammer's air force. Simply in terms of weight, speed, and payload, Warhammer-era atmospheric fighters, let alone those from the Golden Age, even compared to 2K-era Blue Star, were they both "differentiated"? As for aerial engagements, they'd been relegated to primarily dogfights and within-visual-range engagements.

(Atmospheric fighters like the Lightning in Warhammer use jet engines when flying in the atmosphere, and additional rocket engines when launched from a warship or flying in space.)

Despite the cost, the landing operation went relatively smoothly. Imperial aircraft not only eliminated the Ork interceptors but also flew in swarms at low altitude, raining tons of bombs and missiles on Ork factories and tribes. Three landing craft roared down and landed successfully at their designated locations. They were deployed in a triangular formation on the ground.

"Begin, move now!" Felix shouted. Scores of Fourth Legion soldiers immediately emerged from landing craft, utilizing the terrain and the expanded hulls to deploy defenses. Tanks and artillery pieces rolled out of the cargo holds, also deploying their own defenses using the terrain. Numerous technical sergeants deployed mobile weapon platforms and sensors on the battlefield, forming fire support points. Minefields were deployed to increase the depth of the defenses. The ships' multi-layered void shields were deployed, and dense, hedgehog-like artillery and laser cannons were trained in the direction of the Ork attack.

The Titan in the cargo hold, flanked by Skitarii, also entered the battlefield. Its towering form, tens of meters tall, resembled the giants of Terran mythology, imbued with power and might. The Mechanical Priest chanted binary code, commanding a large number of robots and combat thralls to deploy a defensive line. Meanwhile, Balder arrived at the center of a circle surrounded by three landing craft, opened a portal, and brought the space forces directly to the surface!

In the distance, on the horizon, hordes of Orks appeared. The smoke and dust kicked up by countless chariots and Tin Men could be seen clearly from dozens of kilometers away. Millions of Orks rushed towards the legions from all directions. Countless Mechanicus reconnaissance aircraft took to the air, using various detectors to monitor the enemy's situation.

"A large number of light and medium armored units, and only a small number of Titan-class units. The target threat rating is very low." Legion Commander Weidman reported to Bader.

"It seems the Orks aren't foolish. They've concentrated their elite forces far from us, waiting for us to escape our naval artillery support and landing zone before engaging us in a decisive battle," Balder sneered. "Alright, let the Titans unleash the wrath of the Emperor and Mecha-God as a warm-up before the real battle."

Dozens of Titans trained their main guns on the distance. Datalinks transmitted enemy information and their own firepower allocations to the Titans. The Mechanicus's most powerful ground war machines began their attack warm-up. With the movement of pistons and clouds of plasma expelled from the radiators, massive volcano cannons and earth-shaking cannons roared at distant targets. In an instant, kilometers of ground were bathed in the dazzling fire of the Titans' firing. Terrifying beams of light and swarms of missiles, like bees, flew towards the distant enemy, carrying humanity's fury. In an instant, thousands of Orks and their filthy war machines were vaporized, leaving a trail of horror on the ground.

Protected by their own void shields, the Titans effortlessly cleared the distant enemies. The Orcs' initial attack posed no real threat. As the Titans effortlessly slaughtered their foes, a steady stream of Legionnaires entered the battlefield through the portal. The entire battle plan went remarkably smoothly!

Chapter 149: The Divine Machine Appears 1

"This is the Dagger Battle Group. On behalf of the Vulcan 1 Titan Legion, I salute you, respected Supreme Lord Commander. We are ready for battle and can attack at any time." Allen, the pilot of the War Dog Titan Dagger 1, greeted Balder after driving the Titan out of the portal.

"The Dagger Battle Group is the best in the Titan Legion. You are known for your swift speed, precise strikes and good coordination. I hope that in this battle, we can work together to deliver a glorious victory for humanity and the Emperor." Balder said as he looked at the five Warhound Titans behind him. They will serve as one of the vanguards of the Titan Legion attacking the Rust Industrial Belt and cooperate with Sejanus's troops to launch an offensive.

"As you wish, Commander." Then, with the sound of pistons turning and engines roaring, the 14-meter-tall war engine strode onto the battlefield. Its surging power and dog-like recurved legs gave this war engine weighing 410 tons maneuverability and speed far beyond its size.

"The powertrain is functioning normally."

"Shields and weapons systems ready. Ready to fire."

"The detection equipment has been turned on, the data link with the Luna Wolves has been opened, and we have connected to the combat network." Before entering the battlefield, Allen's deputy Otto was making technical preparations for the battle.

"Excellent! Order the battle group to idle. Transfer the Luna Wolves' data to the Titans," Allen said. Some say Warhound Titan pilots are violent and restless, preferring to exploit their mobility and agility to swiftly maneuver and decimate their opponents with ferocious close-range fire. But Allen is different. He considers himself a Wolf King. He favors mobile warfare, but at the same time, he relies heavily on coordination among his teammates. After all, he knows that Warhound Titans are merely the most basic of engines. They must perform many tasks that larger Titans disdain. Their armor and shields are also not particularly reliable. The survival and combat effectiveness of a Warhound battle group depends primarily on brains and tactics, not recklessness.

Alan, connected to the Titan, frowned slightly as the massive amount of data poured in. This feeling was already familiar to him. The data pouring in from countless reconnaissance platforms was constantly refreshing. The Titan's machine spirit would filter out a large amount of useless and secondary information. For important information, the machine spirit would also provide some suggestions, but some things ultimately required the captain's own analysis and judgment.

"The Luna Wolves seem to have run into some trouble in Area 6. They requested our assistance. The target attributes are a large number of ordinary armored units, mechas, and secondary engine units." Allen said suddenly.

"Understood, let's go." With the help of the machine spirit and combined with the intelligence provided by the friendly forces, Allen quickly found a passage among the buildings and ruins in the rust industrial belt.

"Number Two and the lead aircraft, prepare to engage. The other Daggers will cover the flanks and rear. Send a message to the Luna Wolves, telling them to seize control of the buildings on both sides of the passage. I don't want to be marched down by a group of Orcs suddenly bursting out with melta bombs," Alan ordered. Titans never fight alone, nor are they omnipotent. Void shields can withstand heavy firepower, but they can't stop the relatively slow Rocket Boys and their various bombs. Caution is especially important in complex terrain.

The nimble warhounds galloped between buildings and ruins. Aided by servos and stabilization equipment, Alan felt no vibration at all. He repeatedly refreshed his data and communicated with the commander on the front lines. Following his advice, the Luna Wolves had retreated to a sturdy building, in front of which lay a relatively open area, making it easier for the Titans to assault and unleash their firepower.

"Expected to engage the enemy in 5 minutes." The machine soul issued a warning.
