"This..." Ahriman was speechless. As a psychic expert, Ahriman clearly understood the significance of such a high level of psychic power. In a naval battle, with tens of thousands of kilometers between the opposing ships, even if the opposing warships were already without shields, projecting psychic energy over such a vast distance was in itself a testament to the sheer power of the projected psychic energy. To render various individuals unconscious while not killing any of them demonstrated the caster's unparalleled control over psychic energy.
Psionic power is powerful, but also dangerous and difficult to control. Even Ahriman, at this point, didn't believe he could achieve it on his own. Perhaps through multiple psykers, magic circles, and rituals, it could be achieved, but the expense and potential risks were far less efficient than using light spears and macro cannons! It was clear to Ahriman that what he sought was a piece of cake for his opponent!
After a brief moment of reflection, Ahriman felt relieved. After all, his brother had paid a heavy price for just one attempt, and that was even after the other side showed mercy. The other side's strength was truly enough to make him look up to them.
"The Void is dangerous. This is what Lord Balder, the Supreme Lord Commander, taught us, and it is also the motto of all Rune Priests of the Space Wolves Legion." said Vodmaker.
"But we must use psychic powers in combat. It is our duty and our honor."
"So, we often use this kind of thing to assist in casting spells." Wardmaker hesitated for a moment, then carefully pulled out a small crystal from his pocket. A normal person wouldn't have taken this out, but at Balder's suggestion, Wardmaker decided to give Ahriman a small shock from the Sixth Legion.
"This... is this solidified and purified psychic energy?" Ahriman first sensed it with his mental power, then asked with surprise, astonishment, and delight. Although he considered himself knowledgeable, he had never seen solidified psychic energy before! And after further processing and preparation, this crystal had another name: spirit bone!
"How did you do it? I can..." The ecstatic Professor A immediately wanted to communicate with his colleague from the Sixth Legion. However, he soon realized that this thing must have involved the core secrets of the Sixth Legion. Anyway, if the Fifteenth Legion could mass-produce psychic crystals on its own, he and his colleagues would definitely hide this technology in the safest place in the legion, and even try to avoid others when using it.
"I can use other knowledge or things..." Ahriman hesitated for a moment, but finally gave up. After all, he knew that this was the secret of the Legion and the other party would definitely not provide it easily.
"Don't tell me about this. I'm just a rune priest." Wardmaker took the crystal from Ahriman and said, "There are some things that require the decision of Lord Balder."
"This is truly an amazing invention. With solidified psychic energy, our spells will be more powerful and safer," said Ahriman.
"It's okay." Wardmaker said indifferently.
"These are some of my insights and experiences regarding psionics. Thank you for showing me another side of psionics. I'll give it to you." Ahriman thought for a moment before handing a copy to Wardmaker. During their earlier chat, Ohmzod hadn't mentioned the Wolves possessing psionics crystals. So, either the rune priests his brother had encountered weren't high-level, or they weren't as generous. Whatever the reason, he felt obliged to show some goodwill.
"Thank you for your gift." Wardmaker was stunned at first, then said, after all, Ahriman was also a company commander. Although the current company of the Thousand Sons could not be compared with the scale of the Wolf Regiment's Great Company, it was still much higher in rank than his own. However, what he said next made Ahriman feel a little dissatisfied.
"However, we will first make a backup of this codex in the Legion Archives. Do you mind?" Wardmaker's attitude was very firm. If Ahriman did not want to make this codex public, then Wardmaker would not accept it.
"This codex is yours now. You can handle it with your own authority," Ahriman said after a moment's hesitation.
Afterward, the two sides exchanged some other matters. Ahriman was reassigned to a guest room to rest. Later, Heimdall also spoke with his colleague from the 15th Legion, though the exchange was quite formal. Ahriman apologized for his intrusive visit, while Heimdall welcomed the friendly visit. After a bit more small talk, Heimdall returned to managing his own company while Ahriman considered his next steps in the room.
"This is truly a wonderful thing!" Ahriman lowered his cup, which held a special tea. According to Wardmaker, it soothed emotions and boosted spirits. (It's a specialty of Curzon, transplanted by Balder.) After taking a sip, Ahriman felt the effects were truly remarkable! He could clearly feel a brief boost in his inspiration and mental power after drinking this special tea.
After steeping the tea leaves no less than six times, until the color had faded, Ahriman finally put down the cup. After a moment's hesitation, he removed the remaining tea leaves from the teapot, carefully dried them, and placed them in a special bag, which he then hid in his pocket.
"The rest of this isn't going to be easy," Ahriman thought as he packed up. His plan was simple: visit Bardell, apologize, and then, if he showed some mercy, he'd pay something back, whether it was knowledge, a job, or something else. Once everything was done, they could exchange contact information, become friends, and that was it. But now, it seemed like what he had might not be worth the price...
Ahriman considered himself a scholar, a polymath. But it depended on who he was comparing himself to. Ahriman never considered his psychic gifts the best in the world. After all, he had seen the Emperor and the Sigillite, and knew that there was still a Primarch in the Legion who had not yet returned. But now, Ahriman had a vague feeling that, apart from the Emperor, perhaps neither the Sigillite nor the Primarch he had never met was as good as this Supreme Lord Commander!
"Let's take it one step at a time." Ahriman sighed. After all, it was his own brother who was in trouble this time.
----------------
Meanwhile, on the other side, Balder was holding a copy of Ahriman's Codex with a puzzled expression.
"You're quite the professor! You're not afraid of anything happening!" Looking at the document in his hand, Balder decided to change his mind about Old T. Just based on what was written in Ahriman's codex, he was truly lucky to be alive. Maybe Old T had his back! Just looking at the name, you could tell how dangerous it was! "Illustrated Guide to Creatures of the Origin Sea"!
What is the Origin Sea? It's the Warp! It's basically a collection of Warp creatures or entities! What's in the Warp? There's a lot. Most people think the Warp is full of demons, servants of the Chaos Gods. That's definitely wrong.
Let's put it this way, demons are creatures of the Warp, that's true, but there are other demons in the Warp that don't belong to the Four Gods, as well as creatures other than demons, such as the Slaves that both the Old Saints and the Necrontyr fear, and the Void Whales that are larger than planets. These are all creatures of the Warp, and these creatures can also appear in the real universe.
But, no matter what, one thing is certain: there are too few benevolent creatures in the Warp, and there are too many powerful and cunning beings! Maybe Ahriman, who becomes the chosen one of T in the future, has the protection of the old T and the accumulation of thousands of years, and can get along well in the Warp, but as for Ahriman now, he is really not good enough!
Neither his knowledge nor his ability were enough. Not to mention those famous demons, even an ordinary demon, judging purely by strength, without considering his background, would probably give Ahriman a hard time!
And now, this rookie who just entered the subspace is actually like a new fisherman, steering a small sampan into the depths of the ocean, pointing fingers at those beings hidden under the waves. Does he think he has lived too long?
Even though the demons couldn't be exposed due to their boss's demands, some of the other beings were still dangerous enough, even more dangerous than some demons! Balder thought that what Omzod did was dangerous enough, but who knew that compared to what Ahriman did, it was really far from it!
"Emmmmm, this is also an opportunity." Balder looked at the attachment in his hand and fell into deep thought. Now he was thinking about how to give Ahriman, a newcomer to the Warp, a shock from the devil! Let him learn his lesson!
"Perhaps, if handled properly, this time, Ahriman will have a chance to escape from Tzeentch's control." Balder muttered to himself while thinking.
"Looks like the original plan needs to be changed. If Old K's men are hard to find, then we can consider looking for the men of other evil gods." Balder smiled and pulled out a soul stone from his pocket. To be more precise, it was a replica of Balder's own, and inside it was the corrupted soul of the Dark Eldar.
"We can't let anything truly happen to Ahriman." Balder estimated the number of souls within and their allure to the S-Demon. He felt that an S-Demon emerging right now wouldn't be something Ahriman could face. After all, the S-Demon's combat power was considerable, not to mention the famous S-Demon's ability to defeat other demons, the Noble Phantasm of Xarathi. Even the K-Demon praised its formidable power.
Even that S-level demon named Manushya is capable of battling Khan. If Ahriman were to encounter him now, wouldn't he be defeated with a single blow? Don't assume the demon only knows magic; he's also incredibly skilled in close combat with a sword. He's no match for dozens of nameless canned goods.
"Prepare some more things for Ahriman, that's all. You must not die." Balder sneered in the shadows.

However, just as Balder was about to implement his plan, he suddenly felt an inexplicable sense of crisis! This sense of crisis was so intense, even greater than when he was about to face the Emperor! This was a situation he had never encountered since his reincarnation. A premonition mixed with fear, danger, and fatality surged from the depths of his soul, reminding Balder of the potential dangers this action would face. This premonition was beyond psychic power, though vague, but extremely strong.
"No, this won't do." Balder shook his head. His plan was over. The warning from the Source couldn't be ignored. He knew that insisting on his own way would lead to bad results. But Balder was reluctant to give up completely. This was an attempt, an attempt to change history and destiny. If he couldn't even take this step, then achieving what he wanted would be even less likely.
"It's just a God's chosen one that has not yet been confirmed." Balder calmed down and considered the gains and losses of this action and the possible risks.
"The Thousand Sons, what a pity!" Balder said with a touch of emotion, stroking his chin. Honestly, if one had to choose between the Death Guard, the World Eaters, the Thousand Sons, and the Emperor's Children, and which Legion was most worth saving and most despised, it would undoubtedly be the Thousand Sons. After all, if one were to judge from the heart, the vast majority of the Thousand Sons were loyal. They were all betrayed, betrayed by Old T and their arrogant, yet somewhat cowardly Primarch. It could even be argued that Magnus himself was deceived. Furthermore, the Thousand Sons' attributes were perfectly suited to the task of fighting demons, and Magnus was irreplaceable.
However, the one plotting against them was Tzeentch, the second most powerful of all the evil gods, and also the most cunning and insidious. He had completely locked the Thousand Sons at the gene-seed level. Balder believed that the mutations in the Thousand Sons' gene-seed were inextricably linked to Tzeentch. Other Legions also experienced mutations, such as the Bloodthirst of the Blood Angels and the Wolf's Helix of the VI Legion. But regardless of the mutations, these flaws were not enough to devastate the Legions.
The Black Rage and Bloodthirst are the most powerful, but in the 40K era, the Blood Angels still had a lot of successors. And what about the Wolf's Spiral? I can only say that the Fenrisians themselves are a bit flawed. But regardless, they are not as miserable as the Thousand Sons.
At the same time, the Thousand Sons faced a seemingly powerful but in reality somewhat ignorant Primarch who was indecisive at the critical moment. Add to that Old T's machinations and guidance, and the difficulty of saving the Thousand Sons was immense.
Balder had no immediate solution for the targeted Primarch. To move the Primarch would be to expose him directly to the evil god. He would certainly face the evil god in the future, but definitely not now. As for saving the loyalists within the Legion, Balder had some plans; it was just a matter of how many he could save.
"I can't solve the Thousand Sons genetic problem, but I have to save the people," Balder muttered to himself. The strength of a Space Marine depends on two factors: the Marine's own strength, and the gene-seed. The latter is generally not much different, though the memories and other factors may differ, but regardless, the original gene-seed is a product of industrialization. As for the Marine's strength before the gene-seed is implanted, and the compatibility of the gene-seed with the Marine is another factor that determines the strength of the Space Marine.
For example, the Thousand Sons all possessed similar gene-seed, but Ahriman only had one! The same gene-seed given to different individuals yielded different results. Therefore, Balder considered that if the Thousand Sons gene-seed was beyond saving, he could give Ahriman and other promising members of the Thousand Sons Legion a different gene-seed. The Knight Errant's gene-seed was clearly the best choice.
In fact, Balder thought so and planned to do so. But unfortunately, his idea did not seem to succeed, which was quite troublesome.
"It's time to discuss some issues with the Emperor." Balder firmly believed that this encounter with Omzod was a chance for change, presented by fate. When presented with such an opportunity, giving up was simply impossible. He hadn't gotten this far by simply hiding! When it came time to forge ahead, he absolutely couldn't hesitate. So, even though his previous plan had failed, he still wanted to try again!
----------
"Traveler, are you looking for me?" The Emperor looked at Balder in front of him with some confusion, after all, the two parties had just ended their communication.
"I have a very difficult problem here and need to discuss it with you." The human side of Balder temporarily disappeared, and the traveler's will awakened from his slumber.
"How difficult is it?" the emperor asked seriously.
After the traveler pondered for a moment, a flood of information flooded into the Emperor's mind, and the latter instantly understood what the traveler meant.
"So, you wish to begin your rescue plan?" the Emperor sighed. The Traveler had hinted at all this in the last communication. The future of the Fifteenth Legion was bleak, hence the Knights-Errant, and now the Traveler was intent on rescuing certain key figures.
"Yes. However, my previous plan had huge risks, and the gains did not outweigh the losses." The traveler nodded.
Is it easy to save or kill Ahriman? Actually, it's not difficult. The Emperor has begun to draw upon the power of faith, and He is constantly growing stronger. Furthermore, humanity's fortunes are currently flourishing. If the Emperor wishes to eliminate or remove Ahriman, it will be no problem at all! Even if Tzeentch were to take him away through the Warp, it wouldn't be so easy!
But the question is, what are the consequences of doing so? Ahriman's fate is altered, and the change of a key chess piece will naturally affect the fate of others. And Tzeentch is very likely to discover the Traveler hiding in the shadows! Even if Tzeentch can't do anything to the Traveler now, exposing a key figure on his side, only to have the Chosen One replaced, is clearly not worth the loss!
The battle between the two sides is a long process. The deeper the trump cards are hidden and the less they are exposed, the more terrifying the final killing move will be. The traveler himself still needs time to develop.
"This is a troublesome question. Wanting to sever other destiny lines in exchange for a few key chess pieces at a lower cost is a risk. Is it really worth trying?" The Emperor looked at the Traveler.
"For tens of thousands of years, we have always been testing the edge of danger. Sooner or later, we will have to take this step." The traveler was very determined.
"We can give up this opportunity. Safety is the most important thing. You are a chess player and should not expose your existence for a chess piece." The emperor said after a brief thought.
What is opportunity? Opportunity is the chance to completely escape Tzeentch's schemes. This opportunity is not a simple and crude removal, because this will not simply sever the connection between Tzeentch and the pawns. The Traveler's original plan was to use Khorne to complete it, but now, an opportunity is presented to the Traveler, but he and the Emperor do not know how to operate it to minimize the risks.
What is war? War is the careful use of leverage, minimizing losses for maximum gain. And through repeated battles and exchanges, ultimately overwhelming the opponent. This was the Emperor and the Traveler's first attack on the evil god! If they gave up this time, there was no telling when the next one would come.
"We have power, but it is difficult to use it. Our knowledge, understanding and vision are not enough," said the traveler.
Is the Emperor powerful? Of course he is. In the real universe, unless the Pai Gu are reborn en masse and fully utilize the same methods they used to deal with the Star Gods, the Emperor is truly fearless in a head-on confrontation. If the World Engine dares to appear before the Emperor, it will be a waste.
However, whether the Emperor could fully unleash his power is questionable, as, in the real universe, there seems to be no one who could challenge the Emperor to his full potential... The Emperor's previous battles were almost always crushing, and as long as He could make a move, there was almost no chance of losing. This resulted in him constantly playing against poor chess players, with limited improvement in his skills.
Compared to the Heretic Gods, the Emperor is too young, and his overall power is still inferior. It's just that they can't encounter each other. The Emperor's main body is in the real universe, while the Heretic Gods dominate the Warp. As for combat experience and conspiracy, the gap between the Emperor and the Heretic Gods is also huge. After all, those Heretic Gods are the original evil that spawned the galaxy, and they have been killing and scheming against each other for countless years! Humanity is still too young, and so are the Emperor and the Traveler!
"Do you wish to involve the Eldar gods in this matter?" the Emperor asked.
"I think that contact and coordination between us is a matter of time, the sooner the better." The traveler said after a moment of contemplation.
"Alright," the Emperor nodded. The Traveler then began contacting Nyadra, the Two-Faced God's Messenger. However, to the Traveler's surprise, His request didn't go through that messenger, but instead reached the Black Library directly.
----------
"The gods of humanity are finally going to establish contact with us." In the endless darkness, as the candlelight was lit, a huge clown mask appeared under the candlelight.
"Human gods? Senior, do you believe Neos and the Traveler can complete the path to godhood?" A moment later, a purple, horned face appeared on the other side of the candlelight. A portion of the God of Death's will was projected into this mysterious space. Though of high status, he was only partially awakened. The God of Laughter could indeed be his predecessor, and the God of Death held a deep respect for awakening his colleagues.
"They must complete the path to deification, otherwise our situation will be very difficult. Our time has passed. As the remnants of the overlords of the previous era, the first thing we have to do is survive. The prerequisite for survival is that there are other stronger beings who can help us withstand the greatest threats." The Harlequin God stated everything in a rare clear and serious tone.
"If they succeed and become the most powerful beings in the real galaxy, then the future..."
"For the foreseeable future, humanity will only have two gods. Although humanity has done quite well, their rise to power was too brief. They inherited good fortune, completing in just tens of thousands of years what took other civilizations millions, or even tens of millions, of years. However, all this comes at a price. The birth of a god requires time, refinement, and tempering. Only immortals and reincarnated beings have the potential to ascend to godhood. But unfortunately, none of the other immortals have found their own path to godhood."
"Only two gods? That's acceptable." The Death God nodded. How arrogant were the Eldar at their peak? The Orks were merely a nuisance. Even with the Orc God standing behind them. The evil gods of the Warp remained silent. Humanity's advancement into the interstellar age was only possible because of the Eldar's "gracious mercy." The Necrons fell into a deep slumber.
The souls of the Eldar can be reincarnated infinitely. For humans, immortals are extremely rare. Of those who have been reincarnated, only the Traveler is confirmed to be still alive. However, all the Eldar at that time could reincarnate!
In the real world, technology that is unimaginable now supports the hegemony of the Eldar in the galaxy. When the Eldar still believed in their gods, the Eldar God Court stood in the warp, protecting the souls of all the Eldar!
Therefore, after understanding the glorious era of the Eldar gods, Death could say that it was acceptable for humanity to have two gods! Because he knew that even if these two gods had reached the status of the Supreme God, they still could not dominate the entire real galaxy and the Warp. Even if they were hostile to each other, the Eldar still had ample room to protect themselves. Moreover, there were the evil gods of the Warp, who were the greatest enemies of all intelligent creatures!
"Is it possible for the Primarchs created by the Emperor to become gods?" asked Death.
"These Primarchs were born from a bargain between the Evil God and the Emperor. They were born powerful. But in essence, they were incomplete and imperfect, because their power was not their own. If one wants to become a god, there are only two paths. One is to abandon the power of the Emperor and the Evil God and start from scratch. The other is to gain the power to kill gods with the help of other gods and seize their power. However, even if the latter succeeds, the newly born god will no longer be the original one."
"It's a pity for the Necrontyr. If they still had souls, they might be able to ascend by killing the Star Gods." The God of Death had not participated in the battle between the Eldar and the Necrons, so He analyzed everything from the perspective of a bystander.
"Everything has a price. If the Necrontyr had not sacrificed all their souls, they would not have been able to gain the power to defeat their opponents. They won, but they also lost at the same time." After the Harlequin God finished speaking, he fell into silence.
"Okay, let's stop recalling history and start doing what is in front of us. This is an opportunity, an opportunity to launch an attack on the Chaos Evil God! We must strike the first sword of counterattack. Let us use the wisdom and experience accumulated by our race for tens of millions of years to teach those who come after us. Let them see how we weave conspiracies and change our destiny." The Clown God said with great enthusiasm!
"As you wish, let's go."
----------------
"Emmmm. It's just right that we have a mahjong table. There are four evil gods in the subspace, and there are four on our side as well." After a moment, the traveler said in his heart as he looked at the two incarnations of gods that appeared in front of him.
A golden sun, a blue starry sky, an ever-changing harlequin mask, and an ocean of eldar souls. Well, these were four inhuman beings, their true projections within this space. Forget humanoid forms; we were all the same, so how could we possibly not know what lay before us? Face-sculpting and the like were fine for mortals; since this was a meeting of the gods, let's be frank and honest.
These are all manifestations of their will and authority. The Emperor represents the Imperium of Man, the entire Imperium built around Him, so His projection is a radiant sun. The Traveler himself represents the priesthood of travel, so His projection is a sea of stars, signifying that humanity will travel freely in the starry sea.
The Eldar God of Death is a sea of souls, yes, a sea of souls, because the God of Death's duty is to make all the Eldar souls who believe in him return to himself, and he also has the ability to reincarnate the latter, or the ability to reverse life and death. In fact, it is not accurate to say that Inieted is the God of Death, because in the concept of the Eldar, the soul can be reincarnated continuously. Death is an end and a beginning. Although it is now ruined, with the appearance of Inieted, His authority must have the concept of rebirth.
Compared to these three, the God of Harlequins, or the God of Laughter, was in a somewhat tragic position. Clearly, judging by the projection, all beings could see that the God of Laughter possessed the least authority and a relatively low godhood. He was merely a deity of a certain profession or branch within the Eldar. Fortunately, however, he was the oldest and possessed the most experience. Everyone still held the elders in high esteem, such as the Emperor.
"Old God." The golden sun looked towards the Laughing God. In the Emperor's perception, the projection of this god, who had survived the Fall of the Eldar, was filled with fragments of past memories and the aura of history. From the power he emanated, the Emperor could sense its profound weight and vast amount of information, much of which was extremely helpful to him.
Therefore, there is nothing wrong with the Emperor calling the God of Laughter an Old God. After all, he is much older than the Emperor. The Figure King can use age as an excuse to say that the God of Laughter is just a younger brother, but the Emperor cannot.
"Lord of the Empire." The Laughing God glanced at Balder and then said to the Emperor. The Laughing God's words made the Emperor feel slightly uncomfortable, because he had originally thought that the Laughing God would call him the Lord of Mankind!
“Perhaps, my title disappoints you a little, but there is absolutely no problem with my title.” The voice of the Laughing God echoed in the space.
"Is it because of the concept? I understand," the Emperor replied. Did humanity exist before the Emperor? Of course they did. And the Lord of Mankind is a persistent concept. It embodies the influence of those who hold authority over humanity. This influence isn't simply administrative power. It's something far more fundamental. This priesthood's influence and dominance over humanity is immense, as it's spread across so many facets, even the Traveler himself reaping a significant portion. After all, can you say that travel doesn't impact humanity? It certainly does.
The Emperor created the concept of the Imperium of Man. He is its creator and core, a powerful concept in itself. Therefore, if it could be fully realized, the Emperor could easily become the Supreme God of Mankind. And in the background, did you say the Imperium of Man was accomplished? It was, but the Emperor himself was severely damaged, which is a bit awkward.
In the background, it is not a big problem for the Emperor to be called the Lord of Mankind, because there is only one God-ascending person, the Emperor. And in this plane, because the Traveler returned, he took over the original authority and became another God-ascending person.
Therefore, even after the Emperor attained deification, calling himself the Lord of Mankind still felt somewhat inappropriate. After all, humanity still wasn't ruled solely by Him, as the Traveler, after becoming a god, was also a true god. Furthermore, fundamentally, they had no affiliation, unlike the Eldar gods, who were considered a family, at least created by the Old Ones.
As the Laughing God surveyed the Emperor, the Traveler also observed the Eldar God of Death, Inijed. The Laughing God's words were indeed correct, but somehow, they struck the Traveler as a subtle provocation. This irritated the Traveler, and after a moment's silence, the Traveler spoke.
"Your Excellency was born from the remnants of the Eternal Matrix?" the Traveler asked. As soon as these words were spoken, the atmosphere suddenly became strange. Inieid and the Laughing God looked at the Traveler with surprise and astonishment. The Emperor, on the other hand, was somewhat bewildered.
"I'm truly surprised you know this," Iniered said. Why were the Eldar able to reincarnate endlessly before the Great Fall? Was it really because the Eldar were so exceptional? That's obviously nonsense. While the average Eldar are indeed much stronger than humans, there are still many exceptional psykers among humans. So why are reincarnated humans so rare, even fewer than immortals?
This is because the reincarnation of the Eldar is a systematic project! In addition to the protection of the Eldar gods, they have something called the Eternal Matrix, which can basically be understood as an enhanced version of the Endless Circuit. When the Eldar body dies, without the help of the Soul Stone, the soul will enter the Eternal Matrix with its memories, and then, after a series of operations, re-enter reality.
Although the Eldar suffered heavy losses after the Great Collapse, even exploding an Eye of Terror, those races with deep roots, even after suffering a devastating disaster, still left behind some very precious things. Just as the Webway persisted after the Old Ones left the stage of history, even though the Eldar were severely damaged, the Eternal Matrix, or rather, a portion of it, still existed.
How did the Aeneid come into being? Rather than the hopes and vengeance of the struggling Eldar, it was more a collective consciousness formed by those beings trapped within the Eternal Matrix, unable to reincarnate. Even though the Eternal Matrix had been severely damaged, the number and strength of those souls still far surpassed those of the deceased Eldar currently active in the galaxy. Meanwhile, the Old Prophet's arrangement wasn't to create the God of Death, but rather to awaken a portion of this consciousness and bring it into reality.
(This is a setting that the author has seen. I have not seen it mentioned in the original materials. I will use it here for the time being.)
Of course, the reincarnation of a Traveler differs from that of an Eldar. A Traveler's reincarnation is entirely based on their own abilities. The Eldar gods may at most have helped to ward off some coveted individuals. Of course, the Eldar gods would not allow an outsider with the potential for godhood to enter the Eternal Matrix. After all, the Eldar maintain a strict control over the Webway, and the Eternal Matrix even more so. And because of the properties of the Eternal Matrix, the Ineed also possesses the power to both die and reincarnate.
"You're too kind. I won't forget the Eldar's help. Besides, we need to work together now." The traveler transformed into a human form and bowed.
And so, after a few brief exchanges, the two sides engaged in their first round of combat. Each demonstrated their prowess. The Laughing God slightly embarrassed the Emperor and the Traveler, while the Traveler gave the Eldar a minor shock. Both sides gained a better understanding and exchanged ideas.
"Okay, let's talk business." The traveler passed the message to the two Eldar gods.
"So, you want to take advantage of this opportunity to try to save the pawns that have fallen into Tzeentch's hands? And you don't have a good way?" After a moment, the God of Harlequins spoke.
"Indeed, we do not have a good solution, so I hope you can provide some help and support. Of course, we will also reward you." The traveler said this and looked at the Emperor. The Emperor did not hesitate, and a star map appeared before him.
"The Imperium of Man will not enter this area. We will reward the Eldar for their help with an equal return." The Emperor gave the price.
