"Yes, they are new creatures we discovered in our newly developed colony. They possess very powerful psychic abilities. Even the Wasps and the Kroot believe that these creatures have very high psychic potential. They agreed to join our family and can make up for our shortcomings in psychic powers and navigation."

"They also have their own unique technology. This civilization lives in buildings made of silver metal and crystal. Their home planet is an ocean planet with only 20% of its area being land. This living environment allows them to live both in the air and in the water. They have starships that can travel in the universe. Overall, this new cephalopod race is of great significance to the expansion of the Greater Good." Ether Andu said.

"Is psychic power very powerful? Is it powerful enough to see through our minds?" Farsight asked with some concern.

"Yes, they can sometimes see into our minds, which is a very dangerous, yet also very valuable, ability." Andu made no secret of this hidden danger. "So, we've sealed them in an energy shield to limit their control and influence over others. We've also prepared weapons to deal with any unexpected situations."

"Add another core hunter, install more implant chips for everyone, and the latest AI assistant. I don't want any accidents to happen on my flagship." Vision said.

"Okay," Andu agreed. "So what are your thoughts on that human biologist?" Ether Andu asked Farsight about his attitude towards Ahriman's vest.

"He is a learned and resolute man. As long as we don't conflict with humans, he can be trusted. And we need his knowledge and experience to deal with the Tyranids." Vision said after thinking for a while.

---------

"Their souls are so dim in the Warp that we can easily overlook them. Furthermore, they lack psychic talent, so their souls aren't particularly tasty." As the Tau were commenting on the cephalopods, the Tzeentch-possessed creatures were also observing them. A demon named Ras spoke first.

"So we are not here to harvest souls, we are here to harvest this civilization. Our Lord needs believers and slaves, and the Thousand Sons and Servant Legions also need equipment. These guys are very good tools." said another Tzeentch demon.

"But they will soon be defeated by the Tyranids, and their entire civilization may be destroyed."

"Lars, be patient. Only when their civilization is in extreme crisis will they choose to pledge their loyalty to our Lord. We just need to proceed step by step according to the plan behind the scenes."

"These Ethers are a problem. I feel like their genes have been modified. They have strong control over the other clans of this civilization." said Lars.

"Haha, it's precisely because the Ether Class has control over other clans that it's so easy to manipulate. We only need to control a small amount of Ether to control hundreds of billions of people. My Lord will send sufficiently powerful demons and demon princes to corrupt the Ether, and our plan will surely succeed."

“Are we going to overthrow this civilization?”

"No, at least not now. We are just reaping the harvest. If we do too much, it will probably attract the attention of humans. These humans and the gods behind them are too scary. They even want to kill gods! And it is easy to kill us from the source." The possessed demon said with lingering fear.

"Hurry and get to work! At least for now, we're still their allies! Be careful, things are unpredictable, and our enemies could appear at any moment," a demon said, somewhat dissatisfied with his subordinates' laxity. The T'au and their allies still have a simplistic understanding of psychic powers, hoping to completely restrain Tzeentch's elite with this simple and primitive device. If only the time hadn't come, the Tzeentch demons wouldn't mind giving these arrogant individuals a surprise!

-------

"This has gone beyond our expectations. We need to report this to the higher-ups," Ahriman reported through his dedicated channel. After all, the thoroughness and swiftness of Tzeentch's infiltration had indeed exceeded Ahriman's expectations. He shared this information with Alpharius, as well as with Jonson and his brothers, who were hidden in a dimension hundreds of light years away.

"This is getting interesting," Jonson said, looking at Corax, who sat across from him. Indeed, the Raven Lord would be participating in this operation. It wasn't that Jonson and his men couldn't handle it, but rather that Corax's skill level was lower than his other comrades, and Jonson felt it necessary to support this young man. Encounters with Chaos were rare, so he considered it training time. Furthermore, this operation against the enemy would indeed require the Raven Lord's troops, skilled in stealth operations.

"Tzeentch and his minions seek to harvest this civilization," said the Raven Lord.

"Yes, that's what Tzeentch did, and Khorne might have had the same idea. These demons and the masters behind them couldn't obtain believers, supplies, and souls from humans, so they turned their attention to other civilizations," said Zhuangsen.

"Will we encounter our fallen brothers?" asked the Raven Lord.

"The probability of them coming down in person is not high. After all, they are not stupid. Under the current circumstances, if they dare to come down to the real universe in person, even the evil god cannot save them. At most, they can come as a clone." Zhuang Sen said.

"That's really a pity." said the Lord of Dark Crows.

"Okay, it's time for us to act. Although the descendants of Azrael and Russ are excellent, they are still too immature. They are only attracting the other side's attention and are responsible for clearing the Zerg. We have to face demons and the fallen legion. Tzeentch and Khorne have already entered the game, and we must also be prepared." said Zhuangsen.

"The demons of Tzeentch have already appeared, while Khorne only has a blessed weapon, which was most likely picked up by the alien commander named Farsight. How can you be sure that Khorne will also join the game?" asked the Raven Lord.

"Haha, while our Hydra brothers are skilled in infiltration, the Professor is a top psychic, and the Mask is proficient in covert warfare, their vision is still a bit narrow." A smile played on Jonson's lips. "It's no secret that the Tau are aggressively recruiting vassal races. Tzeentch can exploit them, and Khorne can too. I've long been keeping an eye on the races that have suddenly appeared around the Tau."

"?! What do you mean?" Clarks asked in confusion.

"The civilization of the Horned People, a new civilization discovered by the Tau expansion fleet on a marginal planet. Look, don't they look very similar to those humans influenced by Khorne?" Zhuangsen took out the data tablet.

"They really dare to bring everything into the Alliance." The Raven Lord was stunned.

"A civilization that has not yet been educated by the Dark Galaxy." Zhuang Sen sneered.

"Isn't it very similar to our glorious era? After all, we had good relations with many alien civilizations at that time." said the Lord of Dark Crows.

"No, it's different from what we were then. Because we were really strong then. We didn't fear any enemy except the Eldar who were at their peak and the evil gods hiding deep in the warp. But the Tau are different. Our foreign friendship is backed by our own strength, and it is still the same now. The Tau, on the other hand, are ignorant." said Zhuang Sen.

"In the Golden Age, apart from our fathers and travelers, we know very little about the evil gods," said the Lord of the Dark Crows.

"Some information doesn't need to be shared by so many people, as long as the key people know it," said Jonson. "Alright, Merlin, get ready. In three Terran days, we'll go find the home planet of the civilization possessed by the demon of Tzeentch."

"As you command," said Merlin, the Emperor's attendant behind Jonson, bowing. The situation was this: the location of the Khorne daemons and their minions had been pinpointed, while Tzeentch was hiding deeper, so determining their location was crucial. This required a fleet expertly concealed to traverse the Tau controlled zone and evade the Tzeentch daemons' perception.

"Will there be other brothers traveling with us?" asked the Raven Lord.

"There will be other brothers taking action, but they may take a different path. Our wizard brother is eager to encounter his dark side." Zhuangsen said with a smile.

Just as the beings behind the scenes were weaving a web of conspiracy and slaughter, Farsight finally led his fleet on his hunting journey. In the end, he listened to Ahriman's advice and did his best to concentrate the fleet within the scope of his authority. 280 battleships joined the hunt. It can be said that this basically drained the available fleet of the Tau Star in this star zone at this stage.

Besides the Tau's own warships, several vassal races also provided support, particularly the Kroot. At least 30 Kroot spherical warships joined the expedition. Hundreds of other frigates and gunboats surrounded the main fleet.

"Our navigator has planned a safe route for the fleet. The target fleet is currently resting in a galaxy that is densely covered with gas clouds and meteorite belts, allowing our fleet to approach the enemy quietly." A servant reported to Farsighted.

"Alright, let's begin! Fleet, prepare to attack," Farsight gave the order with great enthusiasm. The massive T'au fleet began to enter the Warp, marking the beginning of the first large-scale battle between the Tyranids and the T'au.

"I don't expect you to be able to hunt down your target, or defeat the Tau fleet, as long as you can bring back most of the fleet." Ahriman, who also participated in this battle, said in his heart.

Chapter 522 Titanium vs. Insect Nest

"Our vanguard squadron has discovered the main force of this hive fleet. This fleet contains at least 30 hive motherships. There are also nearly 2 cruiser-sized battleships and a large number of escort warships."

As the T'au fleet emerged from the Warp and entered this unnamed star system, the reconnaissance fleet, which had arrived earlier, immediately sent in intelligence. The Zerg fleet seemed to be concentrated around a large gas planet orbiting this binary star system. Perhaps due to the complex motion of the gas planet, it was surrounded and enveloped by asteroid belts and gas clouds. In previous operations, the T'au reconnaissance fleet had only remained in the shallow layers of the gas clouds and asteroid belts, not deep within them.

"Where is the Zerg's super battleship?" asked Farsight.

"Sorry, our reconnaissance fleet is unable to conduct reconnaissance deep into the Zerg fleet. Some of the Zerg warships seem to have landed in the atmosphere of the gas planet, and they seem to be able to extract some useful substances from it. So the actual number of the enemy warships can only be greater." The commander of the reconnaissance fleet reported.

"The situation isn't looking good," Farsight said to his attendant. The situation wasn't quite what he'd envisioned. His original plan had been to locate the enemy's Ancient Ship and destroy it with lightning speed. The Tau knew that the destruction of a crucial node ship would cause the Zerg fleet to lose control for a period of time, and then it would be a matter of chasing them down and slicing them apart.

But now, the Ancient Ship's location is unclear, and the opposing fleet appears to be significantly larger, with capital ships comprising over half of the T'au fleet. Even those exposed are certain to remain hidden. Furthermore, the enemy has arrived at the battlefield well in advance, waiting for their opportunity, while the surrounding area is fragmented by nebulae and asteroid belts. It will be difficult for the T'au fleet to enter, as the situation will limit their superior numbers.

"This formation is too targeted. I have a feeling that the enemy may have known we are coming!" Yuanjian said to his subordinates beside him with a gloomy face.

"So, Commander, what are you going to do?" Ether Anwa asked. Farsight responded with a long silence. Sometimes, making the right judgment isn't difficult; the hard part is that factors outside of war can always influence battlefield decisions.

For example, this time, the Tau mobilized such a massive fleet and made such a tremendous effort. Even the deployment of these warships alone was a massive expense, and then they simply fled because they suspected an ambush? How could they justify this to everyone?

"Sir, something is moving in the asteroid belt, and they are accelerating! We can capture their signals, this is indeed a trap! They seem to be ready to rush out!" At this moment, the Vanguard Alert Fleet sent a message, and it seemed that all this confirmed Foresight's guess, that this was a trap set by the Zerg fleet against the Tau people.

"We have discovered a powerful psychic signal! Based on the comparison with the data collected before, we can be sure that it should be the ancient ship we want to search for. It is approaching us!" One piece of information after another came from the front line, which made Vision hesitate again.

"We didn't fall into the enemy's trap. The Zerg fleet has lost its patience, they have begun to expose themselves, and launched an attack on us. I think we can deploy our formation to form a firepower network on the periphery, and then kill the enemy while we are well rested." An Air Clan officer had great confidence in the fleet.

"The hunting target has appeared, and from what we can see now, the size of the Zerg fleet has not exceeded the upper limit of our response. At this moment, the Zerg fleet is attacking, and we are waiting for the opportunity. There is no reason to withdraw." The current situation made Ether Andu determined to continue fighting.

"Then prepare for battle. Let the Kroots deploy their spherical battleships in the front. These battleships are larger and stronger. They are enough to withstand the enemy's attacks. Then we will use our firepower from the back to destroy them with bombers and drone torpedoes from a long distance!" Then Farsight came to Ahriman, who stared at the tactical projection in front of him and fell into deep thought.

(From a background perspective, TAU sometimes also takes human traitors seriously. For example, Shadowsun once consulted a human psyker about psionic powers after being tricked by the White Scars using psionic mist.)

"We should focus on a broader scale. The Zerg's navigational mode is different from ours. They navigate by distorting space in the real universe. Although slow, they are freer. They could burst out from anywhere in the real universe at any time and arrive at the battlefield without being restricted by Mandeville points."

"So, we must be vigilant. I suggest deploying reconnaissance forces in other directions of the fleet. These reconnaissance ships should be equipped with advanced gravity and space sensors to prevent sneak attacks from other enemy fleets." Ahriman replied.

After the large Zerg fleet was destroyed, the scattered Zerg fleet became more troublesome. After all, if the Zerg gathered together, the War Body could clear them with a two-dimensional foil, but if they were to be separated, the War Body would not be useful, because destroying a Zerg tendril might not be enough to cover the War Body's appearance fee...

Therefore, in such situations, the Empire typically deploys multiple chapters to form mopping-up fleets and wage guerrilla warfare across the vast galaxy. The Zerg, however, possesses a significant advantage over other civilizations: all of its fleets are effectively controlled by a single mind. Therefore, internal friction is virtually nonexistent, and the Hive Mind can mobilize the various fleets with ease. This results in exceptionally close coordination between the various tendrils of the Swarm.

In past battles between the Empire and the Zerg, there were often instances of the Zerg using a fleet as bait to lure out the Imperial fleet, then deploying fleets from elsewhere to encircle it. The Empire had encountered this several times before, and Ahriman felt the enemy might be using the same tactics this time.

"I'll pay attention. Actually, I don't like fighting in this situation. We should use our mobility to disperse the opponent, make him reveal his flaws, and then we can launch the final attack." Vision said.

The Zerg fleet surged forward, and to Ahriman, the enemy seemed quite "gentle." It was completely different from the tidal Zerg fleets he had previously encountered. Compared to the T'au fleet, they didn't even seem to have a numerical advantage. The T'au had pushed the Kroot's spherical warships forward, using them as targets for attack. The T'au warships formed a massive circular array, attacking their opponents with intensive firepower!

"Launch carrier-based aircraft and torpedoes to consume the enemy at the farthest distance possible." Following Farsight's order, teams of space fighters and Manta bombers were launched. The first wave of tens of thousands of aircraft and thousands of torpedoes were launched. Like before, the Tau fleet battles were extremely dependent on carrier-based aircraft and torpedoes. Each of their main battleships would carry a varying number of carrier-based aircraft and torpedoes, which gave them very explosive firepower in a short period of time. But at the same time, this was also their weakness. After a round of outbreak, the warships with only a few naval guns and light spears left would fall into a period of weakness.

Like piranhas, the attack aircraft swarms quickly latched onto the leading warships in the Zerg fleet. Led by a dozen cruiser-class Zerg warships, hundreds of smaller Zerg warships swarmed forward. The Kroot warships were large and sturdy enough, but lacked long-range firepower and had poor maneuverability. The acid and plasma shells of the Zerg cruisers couldn't do much damage to these warships. Therefore, a large number of Zerg self-destruct warships became the main force to destroy these large vessels.

However, the first wave of Tau attack aircraft successfully blocked the Zerg's first round of attack. These agile aircraft and guided torpedoes flew through the void, smashing the Zerg's self-destructing warships into pieces. Hundreds of Manta attack aircraft surrounded a Zerg cruiser, which was blown into a piece of burning jerky within a few minutes under the continuous attack of plasma torpedoes and railguns like raindrops.

Under the swift and fierce attack, the Zerg's first round of attack was easily disintegrated. After the offensive failed, the Zerg temporarily stopped, and the Tau took the opportunity to recover the swarm. Everything seemed so smooth. As the Tau celebrated their victory, a shadow had already fallen over the fleet.

"Our aircraft engine has been severely corroded." A Qi clan technician said in surprise after inspecting the returning Manta.

"What's going on? We just had an overhaul before departure, and we've only carried out one attack." The pilot looked at the corrosion-prone aircraft in shock. All of this was then reported to Farsight's data board.

"Those Zerg warships are here to die. After they explode, they will release the acidic substances in their bodies, which will then form an acidic gas cloud. This will reduce the warship's detection range and corrode various carrier-based aircraft and torpedoes." In response to Farsighted's questions, Ahriman explained.

"The data you provided previously didn't say the corrosion would be so severe. According to your description, the aircraft only needs to be maintained after the war." Farsight said with a gloomy face.

"That might be due to a problem with the craftsmanship. The Imperial gunships used by your army shouldn't have such problems." Ahriman said helplessly.

"Damn it! We're being targeted!" a nearby Air Caste commander gritted his teeth. While the Tau might be stubborn and unwilling to admit certain things, they were also self-aware. They knew their fleet's artillery capabilities were severely limited. Half of their damage came from carrier-based aircraft and torpedoes. As a result, while these aircraft didn't cause much damage after each round, they still needed extensive repairs upon return, inflicting significant damage to the Tau fleet.

However, just when the Tau were in a hurry to maintain their carrier-based aircraft, the second round of Zerg attack began. This time, a large number of Zerg motherships joined the front line. 15 Zerg motherships specialized in long-range firepower took the lead, and the acid cannons on the head and back were aimed at the Kroot sphere in the distance. The range of these cannons was longer than that of the Kroot sphere. The Tyranid Zerg seemed very patient, and smashed the target with acid bombs bit by bit.

"Mobilize five reconnaissance teams to advance towards the 5 o'clock direction. If there are no Zerg battleships, let Alarcon and his squadron attack the Zerg fleet from the left. The other fleets attack from the right to tie down and attract the enemy's attention." Vision immediately adjusted the deployment.

Dozens of frigates were deployed in a reconnaissance array, and Alarcon began to attack from the side with 7 Guardian-class aircraft carriers and 2 dozen cruisers. At the same time, the main fleet commanded by Farsight also began to move. The Tau fleet formed a pincer formation, ready to devour the opponent's fleet again.

"Deploy the fleet in a wedge formation. Tell the cruiser squadron to cover our flanks and save carrier-based aircraft and torpedoes." Alarcon ordered, and the seven Guardian-class battleships started accelerating. Like giant manta rays, they advanced rapidly through the universe, then turned in unison and aimed their dense gun barrels at the target. The reactor's energy was injected into the railgun and plasma cannon. With a light blue halo rapidly expanding from the muzzle, shells and light beams flew towards the attacking Tyranid mothership in the distance.

As shell after shell rained down upon the Tyranid motherships, balls of flames emerged from the spore clouds and shields surrounding them. The Tau's attacks were dense and precise. Within three salvos, the shields of one Zerg mothership had been destroyed, with shells piercing through the shattered shields and crashing into the hull, tearing off chunks of flesh. Meanwhile, the Zerg's formidable cannons seemed to remain silent, seemingly unfired against Aracorn's fleet; they merely struggled to move amidst the barrage.

"Their guns appear to be fixed. If they want to turn, they can only rely on hull rotation. Seize the moment and destroy them!" Alarcon spotted a weakness in the Zerg swarm and began concentrating his firepower on the turning warships, closing in for a higher chance of success. When the Zerg fleet's escort ships attempted to close in, the fleet's pre-positioned torpedoes and carrier-based aircraft would swarm in, using a brief burst of force to repel the enemy assault fleet. Elsewhere, Farsight's fleet also launched its assault. Between the superior fleets, the destruction of this Hive Fleet seemed only a matter of time.

--------

"The flank is too quiet," Farsight observed, watching the Hive Fleet being steadily eroded. While the Hive Fleet was currently smaller than the T'au Fleet, it wasn't completely without reserves. In fact, both sides were extremely cautious during this engagement, and Farsight had retained a significant portion of the fleet for support. Furthermore, the entire fleet was stationed near Mandeville Point, ready to deploy at any moment.

The current situation is obviously a bit weird.

Chapter 523 Failed Assassination

"Let Alarcon's search fleet expand its reconnaissance range and send some carrier-based aircraft to conduct close-range reconnaissance." Farsight gave the order, but when Alarcon received the order, it was actually a little late...

From the pitch-black darkness of space, the Tyranid fleet finally unleashed its claws! A group of Tyranid cruisers surged out from a place the Tau could never have imagined. The land was littered with meteorites and ice crystals, making it impossible for Tau warships to pass. Yet, amidst such harsh astronomical conditions, a group of Tyranid warships, enhanced with concealment capabilities, achieved near-perfect stealth through optical invisibility and suppression of internal reactions, stormed out.

These warships, having all but abandoned their ability to engage at range, rapidly closed in on the Tau cruisers, still oblivious to the danger, and sprinted the final stretch. By the time the Tau probes detected these monsters, it was too late. The Tyranid fleet unleashed a flood of spore pods, some of which extended from their heads like long tentacles, seizing their targets. Others even rammed directly into the Tau warships. In this unexpected close-quarters engagement, the patrol cruisers suffered heavy losses.

"The swarm, the swarm! Damn it! They're pouring in!" The Tyranids, pouring in through tentacles and spore pods, quickly filled the target warship. The unsuspecting Qi caste were nearly powerless against this heavily armed boarding force, outnumbered and superior in both quality and numbers. They were overwhelmed by a hail of drills, plasma, and poison gas, reduced to pools of thick water, even more than the swarm's food.

Those warships that collided directly with the Tyranid swarm were destroyed even more swiftly. The Tau warships, barely light cruisers in strength, were shattered by the swarm's maw and rams. Many were torn in two. Arachon's flanking fleet was quickly penetrated. Within half an hour, the swarm's vanguard had already decimated Arachon's escort fleet.

"Guardians, prepare to retreat! We need more support!" Alarcon prepared to evacuate quickly, but the Tau fleet's all-forward firepower made his move difficult. A battleship-class warship with only six macrocannons in its flanks was unrealistic in its hopes of intercepting the enemy. He could only pin his hopes on reinforcements. Farsight did not disappoint him, deploying half of his reserve forces to support Alarcon's evacuation.

"Our allies have detected a very powerful psychic signal!" Just when the situation was about to change, Vision received good news.

"You mean those cephalopod psykers?" Farsight asked.

"Yes, they may have locked onto the trace of the ancient ship. This battleship is coming from the asteroid belt with a large number of hive motherships. Their vanguard has defeated the Arachon fleet, and next, they want to open a gap in this direction!" said a subordinate.

"This is an opportunity, isn't it?" Farsight heard this, instantly brimming with fighting spirit. In his view, since the enemy's command relied heavily on the Ancient Ship, destroying it directly was undoubtedly the most efficient approach. He couldn't bear the thought of his fleet constantly trading pieces with the enemy. Such losses were unbearable for the Tau. Farsight believed his only chance of victory was to decapitate them!

"This is a trap." Ahriman, watching the Tau fighting so hard, finally couldn't help himself. He didn't want the Tau to kill himself, so that he couldn't find the mastermind behind it.

"Ancient ships defy common sense. They can't be easily destroyed with ordinary weaponry. Relying solely on fighters and drones to destroy such a target is simply ridiculous," Ahriman said. "Fighters and torpedoes are too fragile, so fragile that a single psychic storm can wipe them out. Your Manta only has deflection shields, not void shields, which is a significant vulnerability when dealing with psychic energy."

"But we have no choice, Master. Perhaps from a technical point of view, what you said is right, but we cannot accept a war that we cannot win even if we try our best. We have faced situations far worse than the current one, but under the guidance of the Greater Good, we finally defeated our opponents, and this time, we will win again." Ether Andu spoke.

"You are too young," Ahriman sighed, saying nothing more. Farsight also preferred a fight, and Aether Endur even more so. The Zerg fleet finally revealed its ferocious face. Led by the Ancient Ship, over twenty Zerg motherships charged the T'au fleet. Arachon's fleet bore the brunt of the attack. To survive, the seven Guardian-class carriers unleashed their full complement of fighters and torpedoes. However, this time, the Zerg were well prepared. Sky Tyrannosaurus interceptors, many times larger than the T'au fleet, swarmed out! Like a tidal wave, they scattered the T'au interceptors, and then several Sky Tyrannosaurus surrounded a Manta and launched a frenzied attack.

When faced with the torpedoes, some small Zerg warships charged forward, only to be destroyed and form a spore cloud. The corrosive gas burned away the torpedo hulls. Many torpedoes were destroyed as they passed through the spore cloud. This wave of Tau lightning and bombing was not completely useless, but only of limited use.

In the following period of weakness, the entire Tau fleet was almost chased and attacked by the enemy. The Ancient Ship hid its whereabouts very well, and groups of Hive Motherships and Cruisers cut across the Tau fleet's array like a sharp blade. In the close-range artillery battles and boarding battles between the two sides, the Tau fleet quickly fell into a disadvantage.

However, the T'au fleet proved resolute. Their firepower deployment prevented them from retreating; turning back and fleeing would only result in them being overtaken and pulverized by the barrage of artillery fire from behind. The T'au fleet bravely held off the enemy's attack with fierce frontal fire, only to be reduced to smithereens by the acid and plasma cannons.

In desperate situations, there were Tau warships that chose to overload their engines and crash into the opposing warships, but under the Zerg's superior firepower, these fleets that dared to fight back ultimately did not have much effect other than demonstrating the tenacity of the Tau fleet.

"Our fleet is being destroyed and weakened by the minute. We can't go on like this." Watching the gradually decimated Tau fleet, Ether Andu's heart bled. Farsight, however, ignored him. He was completing the final piece of his plan. This time, he decided to go all in and mobilize all his forces.

He commanded nearly half of the main force to quickly move to the flanks and rear of the main force of the Tyranid fleet. On the front, almost all of the remaining reserves went up and engaged the opposing Zerg fleet in a fierce battle.

"Commander, everything is ready." said a servant.

"I've put everything on the line, and I hope my efforts and dedication will be rewarded." After listening to the attendant's report, Farsight waved his hand and ordered the action to begin.

Following Farsight's order, the T'au fleet consisting of nearly 100 battleships quickly attacked the Zerg fleet from the side and rear. Their goal was clear: to cooperate with the fleet in the front and devour all the Zerg warships including this ancient ship!

"Catch them! Don't let them run away!" Just as the Farsight Fleet began to act, the Tau Fleet in front immediately launched a counterattack. They once again released groups of carrier-based aircraft and torpedoes. At the same time, the warships began to attack rapidly. Teams of cruisers rushed into the Tyranid fleet with an almost life-and-death fighting style.

The roar of thousands of artillery pieces shook the battlefield. Many Tau warships braved the intense hail of bullets, rushing to extremely close range to the Hive Mothership before releasing torpedoes and aircraft to minimize interception. Some warships even collided directly with the massive Hive Mothership for various reasons. Warships from both sides were shattered in mid-air by ammunition fired from multiple directions. Fireballs spanning kilometers, sometimes even dozens of kilometers, obscured the light of distant stars, leaving only debris and hulls scattered throughout the landscape.

Despite the cost, both sides suffered heavy casualties. However, the Tau ultimately relied on their explosive power and numerical superiority to gradually encircle the Zerg fleet. However, just as the pincers were closing, Zerg reinforcements arrived. Over 100 Zerg warships of various types burst forth from the asteroid belt and gas cloud. As the Tau closed in on the Zerg, the Zerg attempted to form a larger encirclement from the outside!

"It's the reinforcements of the Zerg fleet! My lord, they have more warships than we expected!" said an Air caste officer in horror.

"I know, I know their reinforcements are coming," Farsight said calmly, looking at the Zerg fleet on the tactical projection. "I've prepared a gift for them. Have the Breaker prepare it. It will severely damage the enemy, or at least delay them for a while."

Following Farsight's orders, a fleet detached from the main force, escorting a specialized Guardian warship as it charged towards the Zerg. The core carrier, known as the Broken, appeared to carry no weapons, but possessed formidable shields and armor. Swarms of heroes and Guardian-class cruisers surrounded it, braving the Zerg's fierce artillery fire. Every few minutes, a Tau warship was destroyed by the intense barrage, but their firepower was too weak to withstand the Zerg motherships blocking their path.

"What's on that ship?" Ahriman looked toward the distant warship, gradually being surrounded by the Zerg swarm. He sensed a familiar aura within it. If he was right, it might be equipped with a warp drive. This drive had already been activated, and the energy it emitted was captured by Ahriman's senses.
