It was a very, very simple-looking longsword. The square red hilt had no fancy decorations whatsoever. It was the kind of sword that a child might not even appreciate as a toy because it wasn't cool enough.

However, since this thing was pulled out of my dream, it definitely couldn't be an ordinary weapon.

I saw I raise the longsword high, and the blade suddenly glowed with a ghostly blue light. Then I roared and threw the sword at Destrudos.

"Battle Soul Divine Sword!!!"

Seeing him throw the weapon straight out like that, anyone would think it was too reckless. How could such a straight-line attack possibly hit the opponent?

Out of caution, Destrudos teleported hundreds of meters away, believing that this would allow him to dodge the War Soul Divine Sword.

However, the instant it teleported away, it felt a strong aura lock onto it, and then the War Soul Divine Sword suddenly changed direction and appeared in front of it, piercing Destrudos's body with lightning speed.

In an instant, Destrudos's body exploded under an irresistible force.

Chapter 236 Devastation from the Ocean

"Holy crap, what is this?" The Dark Baltan aliens and Imperial aliens hiding in the shadows were completely dumbfounded.

Destrudos's physical toughness is second to none among his opponents so far. I Meng stacked the power of the Superior Type on top of the Power Type, increasing his offense and defense several times over, and then added the Electric Punch. It would be an exaggeration to say that the destructive power of his punches and kicks was ten times greater. Moreover, his foundation of the Superior Type was already very strong. Even with such a full buff, his punch only broke through its defenses and recovered in two breaths.

Such terrifying physical defense was instantly blasted into pieces by that seemingly plain longsword.

What is the origin of that sword? Its power is simply too incredible!

The weapon I use is the Soul Sword, a replica of the Cosmic Needle. This weapon is the trump card of the Toei version of Spider-Man, also known as "400 Grandma". Its power is extremely overpowered. It can be said that almost any enemy hit by it will explode immediately. In subsequent crossover works, this thing even instantly killed enemies at the multiverse level.

The War Soul Sword, a clone of the Cosmic Needle, is not as powerful as the original. It is essentially a single-target lock-on version of the Ultra Key, with the damage output being the same as the Ultra Key's area-of-effect attack, but with the added lock-on function.

While not as overpowered as the original, this output power is still enough to instantly kill any opponent even now. Currently, no enemy can withstand the output of the War Soul Divine Sword by sheer numbers. If the opponent is not immortal, then the War Soul Divine Sword can kill them instantly with one strike.

After discovering that Destellus had learned to use teleportation to dodge the Ultra Key, I had already considered using the single-target head-lock attack of the War Soul Sword to kill it. However, Destellus's immortality was too abnormal, and the War Soul Sword with the Cosmic Needle version probably wouldn't be able to blast it to smithereens. That's why I needed the support of the Empire Alien's Sphia Ultimate Beam.

After Destrudos exploded, many of its fragments began to rapidly coalesce, and within a single breath, they began to condense into the main body of Destrudos. Fortunately, the Imperial aliens intervened in time, taking advantage of the fact that it was unable to resist as it was just beginning to condense its body, and a Specia Killing Beam accurately hit its body.

This beam of light, capable of suppressing the regenerative power of biological cells, had a remarkable effect on the Sphia life form. Destrudos's body, which had just been rapidly coalescing, was suddenly struck as if by lightning. His flesh writhed desperately, but could no longer heal together.

After suppressing Destellus's regenerative abilities, Imu directly transformed the Cosmic Needle into an Ultra Key and unceremoniously fired an Ultra Key at Destellus's remains. The terrifying energy instantly detonated Destellus's remains, leaving not a single fragment behind.

After defeating Destrudos, I suddenly glanced behind me as if sensing something, and saw that a small area in the starry sky not far away seemed to have slightly distorted.

"Is it an illusion?" I looked at the area again, and everything seemed calm.

"No, it can't be my imagination. Someone was watching me just now." My heart skipped a beat.

With his current physique, even after experiencing a major battle, it would be impossible for him to have that level of illusion. There was definitely someone watching him just now, but he was so focused on fighting Destrudos that he only realized it when he relaxed after the battle ended.

Who is it? Sphia?

No, I was already fighting the Sphia chimera Destrudos, so there was no need for the other party to do anything unnecessary.

Could it be the Destruction Bringer? What is it trying to do, staring at me like that?

I suddenly had a bad feeling about my dream.

He shouldn't have been monitored like this during the battle on Earth. If he had, there's no reason he wouldn't have noticed it. He was confident in his current perception abilities in his supreme form.

So why is the Annihilation Summoning Entity specifically targeting me now that I've made this unprecedented trip to fight in the universe?

This is clearly not some random, whimsical reason; it must have some purpose in targeting me.

Is it to examine one's own moves and then develop a countermeasure?

There must be a reason, but is that the only reason?

Meanwhile, in a computer room somewhere on Earth, all the computer screens suddenly lit up without anyone turning them on.

Numerous images appeared on the screen, and upon closer inspection, almost all of them were battle scenes of Gamu, starting from his V1 form fighting Bazangar, to his V2 form, and even his final Supreme form battle scenes, which even included his battle scenes in outer space.

In each battle scene, there is a corresponding data table in the corner of the screen:

Gaia Version 2: Photon Edge

Gaia Supreme Version: Photon Stream

Furthermore, almost every scene pauses briefly, displaying analysis of the power generation and techniques of each move, as if the opponent is conducting a comprehensive analysis of Gaia's abilities.

Similar scenes have been observed in countless unused server rooms around the world, where tens of millions of computers are simultaneously being used for computing power and starting to perform calculations.

The air conditioning in the server room turns on automatically when no one is using it. The low temperature of the air conditioning and the heat emitted by the computers are in perfect balance. Before someone enters the server room, the air conditioning and computers will turn off at the same time, so even if someone walks in, they will not be able to tell what happened in the room.

These scenes make one wonder if this has happened many times before?

When the progress bar at the bottom of the screen reaches 97%, the words "Final Test" flash across the center of the screen.

The instant after those words flashed by, the Mariana Trench in the distant Pacific Ocean suddenly began to tremble. At the same time, strange phenomena began to appear all over the world, centered on the Mariana Trench.

An inexplicable anxiety permeated the air, as if an invisible force was approaching, but ordinary people had not yet noticed it.

The first to react were the birds in the sky, who usually circled in the last rays of the setting sun, chirping merrily as they returned to their nests. But the sky was different today; an invisible force seemed to have driven them away. Birds suddenly burst from the treetops, scattering aimlessly, their wings in disarray. Their screams shattered the tranquility of the night, like an unprecedented natural disaster about to strike.

The animals on the ground also became uneasy. Rabbits jumped out of their burrows in panic, their usual timidity now turning into inexplicable fear. They lay low on the ground, ears pressed to the back of their heads, as if listening for some unseen threat, their limbs trembling incessantly. Squirrels also hurriedly fled from the tree trunks, no longer leaping nimbly as usual, but stumbling and staggering towards the ground, seemingly having completely lost their balance.

In the city's sewers, swarms of rats suddenly surged to the surface, abandoning their usual cautious instincts and fleeing for their lives. Street cats became more alert than usual, their eyes wide and ears erect. They emitted low growls, their tails tucked tightly between their legs, their previously curious gaze replaced by utter fear.

Some normally quiet creatures began to stir. The frogs in the pond stopped singing, their bodies stiffened as they lay on the surface of the water, their pupils dilated, as if they had seen some incomprehensible and terrifying sight. Even the fireflies began to fly erratically, and the lights flickered on and off, as if they had been disturbed and had completely lost their original rhythm.

As time went on, the surrounding animals seemed to descend into chaotic disorder. A once docile pasture cow suddenly let out a low moo and paced erratically within the enclosure. The pack of dogs began barking wildly, their barks growing increasingly rapid and piercing. In the deep mountain forest, wild beasts also began to howl, their voices echoing through the woods like a chaotic lament.

Immediately afterwards, the Mariana Trench began to tremble violently, and a large number of flying fish-like creatures surged out from it, densely crowding the entire trench. They broke through the sea surface at extremely high speed and flew into the sky, quickly obscuring the originally azure sky. If viewed from outer space, a huge black dot could be seen spreading across the globe at an extremely fast speed.

Chapter 237 Origin Destruction - Sea God Gakuzom

In the far center of the Pacific Ocean, a strange change suddenly occurred on the surface of the water above the Mariana Trench. Huge ripples began to appear in the once tranquil depths of the ocean, and an incredible force began to shake the entire ocean. Huge columns of water silently gushed from the surface, breaking through the darkness thousands of meters deep, as if some terrifying creature was awakening below.

Immediately afterwards, from the unfathomable trench, the first Root Destruction Flying Fish, Baikuh, burst through the surface. Its body seemed to be composed of pure darkness, and its bluish-black scales shimmered with an eerie light in the dim light. Its wings were like sharp blades, and the sound of them cutting through the air echoed around like thunder. Baikuh's three pairs of red eyes emitted a cold light, and they all flew into the sky at the same time, and the sunlight began to be blocked.

With the appearance of the first Baikuh, countless flying fish emerged from the Mariana Trench. Like the Kuroshio Current, they spread in all directions, day and night, without regard to direction. The sky above the sea was gradually obscured, initially by a few wisps of dark clouds, and then the entire sky began to be covered by the wings of the flying fish.

In every corner of the earth, sunlight began to be blocked, and day was quickly replaced by night. People stood in cities and villages, gazing in terror at the sky, which had once been azure, now an endless black curtain. The flapping of Baikuh's wings produced a deafening sound like thousands of thunderclaps. Every corner of the earth was plunged into a chaotic darkness.

Life in the ocean was the first to feel fear. Schools of fish scattered and fled, whales and dolphins let out mournful cries, as if fleeing this catastrophe that shattered the very foundation of existence. But they had nowhere to escape. Baikuh, as if carrying a mission of death, covered the entire ocean sky. The flying fish did not attack; they simply surged forth from the trenches, growing ever more numerous, their numbers seemingly endless. With their appearance, the sky gradually turned into an endless darkness.

Panic began to spread across the human world. The lights of major cities could no longer pierce the darkness, and the outlines of buildings gradually disappeared into the shadows of the Baikuh flying fish. News reports began to flood in, and satellite images showed that the number of these dark creatures was increasing at an alarming rate, covering the entire Pacific Ocean in a short time, and it was only a matter of time before they covered the entire sky of the earth.

“Where did they come from?” some people whispered in fear, their fingers trembling as they pointed to the disappearing horizon. “They…have no end.”

Faced with this sudden apocalyptic disaster, the Earth Defense Force reacted swiftly. Command centers around the world were brightly lit, emergency alarms blared across the globe, and all combat personnel were put on high alert.

"How did so many unidentified creatures suddenly appear?!" Inside the defense base, Horii looked at the dense array of life forms appearing on the large screen, his face extremely pale.

The sheer number of these Root Destroyer Flying Fish was overwhelming. In just a few minutes, they nearly blotted out the entire global sky, and their numbers continued to increase, almost exceeding the statistical limits of the defense forces' machines.

Fortunately, these creatures did not launch an attack on humans. If such a massive number of Root Destruction Flying Fish were to launch an indiscriminate attack on humans, the global human population would be drastically reduced within minutes, because there were simply too many of them and the attack was too swift.

Even if the defense forces do their job very well, it is impossible to evacuate the entire world's population to underground shelters in just a few minutes.

"How is the situation?" Megumi Kijima rushed into the command room first, followed by a group of team members.

"This is terrible. The number of enemies is unbelievable. I can't even think of how to eliminate this number of enemies right now." Horii turned his head, his face pale.

"Then we'll just have to try and fight it out first. Is the Atdis ready?"

"It's been inspected and is ready to depart at any time, but even the Atdis will have a hard time dealing with so many enemies..." Horii swallowed hard. As a researcher, he knew better than anyone just how terrifying that desperate numerical disparity was.

"If we can't deal with them, we have no choice but to go for it. Are we just going to let those guys surround the Earth?" Without saying a word, Shinjo picked up his helmet and prepared to go to the hangar.

“I believe the strategists in the defense force will come up with a good plan. Until then, let’s buy some time.” The others also turned and rushed to the front line without hesitation.

Within minutes, defense hangars around the world were activated almost simultaneously, and hundreds and thousands of fighter jets took to the skies covered by Baikuh.

The sky roared with the intense roar of engines. The fastest-starting Flying Swallow fighter squadron pierced the darkness like arrows, charging directly towards the endless swarm of flying fish. The battle immediately commenced—missiles roared out, machine guns fired wildly, and laser beams spewed out almost incessantly, fire and debris intertwining. Although the Baikuh were numerous, they were not indestructible; each precise strike could shoot down dozens of Baikuh. Their bodies exploded into countless fragments in mid-air, like black raindrops falling on the earth and sea.

But the defense forces soon discovered that no matter how many Baikuhs were shot down, more flying fish would emerge from the sky to fill the places that had just been destroyed. Every fighter jet seemed to be fighting an endless black sea. The enemy was endless and seemed impossible to completely eliminate. The number of flying fish seemed to be infinite. Every time they crashed, it seemed to awaken an even greater disaster.

“We’ve shot down hundreds of Baikukh,” a pilot’s voice came through the radio, weary and bewildered, “but they… seem like they’ll never get any fewer!”

Fighter jets crisscrossed the skies, ammunition was being consumed at breakneck speed, and the pilots' spirits were burning intensely. The speed and sheer number of Baikuh aircraft created unprecedented pressure; each jet seemed to be racing against death. Ground-based air defense systems operated frantically, raining down missiles on the enemy, but to no avail. Every shot down was instantly drowned out by the relentless onslaught of replacements.

What brought a moment of relief to the battlefield was the successive activation of the Atedis. Since the MAX Pedanium cannon was put into service, military industrial bases around the world have been operating at a frenzy, with one Atedis after another being manufactured at an incredible speed. To date, about 10 Atedis have been successfully installed in bases around the world.

Carrying a large number of heavy weapons, the Atdis immediately demonstrated its powerful firepower suppression capability. Rows of Drak cannons were exposed on its body. These heavy beam cannons quickly tore open slits in the sky, while the MAX Pedanium Cannon mounted in the center cleared the sky of an entire city with a single shot.

The sunlight that has returned to the earth has given many people a glimmer of hope for victory.

But soon, a chilling roar shattered people's hopes.

A large number of Root Destruction Flying Fish, Baikuh, began to gather together. Their bodies turned into a ball of black, oil-like liquid, merging together. Then, this black viscous liquid quickly solidified into a huge monster in the shape of a dragon-human.

Origin Destruction Sea God Gakuzom

Chapter 238: Desfasa, come on!

I felt like the sky had fallen when I got home after I had just fought a deadly battle with the dragon outside.

He fought the Death Dragon Destrudos in outer space until the Great Dao was almost destroyed. He even accidentally went to the home of the Outer Gods, and his SAN value almost dropped to zero. After many rounds of wits and courage, he finally managed to kill the Death Dragon.

When I flew home, I found the lights were off.

In the world of tokusatsu (special effects) films, turning off the lights globally is no small matter. Anyone who can do this is no pushover; at the very least, they are mid-game bosses, and slightly higher, they are final bosses or movie bosses.

At the very least, I've been fighting for so long and have dealt with all sorts of monstrous opponents, but this is the first time I've seen a game where the world's lights go out and the power goes out.

Numb

Previously, although I had to rush to more than a dozen venues a day, there were still some gaps in between. Today, it was completely seamless. After defeating the three humanoid heroes, it was immediately time for the Georgio combo. I had just defeated King Georgio and Georgio Regina, and before I could even catch my breath, it was Death Dragon Destrudos. After killing Death Dragon, I went home and found that the opponent didn't even wait for me and started attacking immediately.

"Your house is quite lively." The Dark Baltan alien could only offer this euphemistic comment after a long pause.

"It's been going on for more than just a day or two." I sighed, then plunged down.

He unleashed a burning impact in mid-air, burning a large hole in the Baikuh fish swarm in the atmosphere, which then plunged straight into Earth.

Upon entering, he discovered that the situation was far more serious than he had imagined. The Baikukh had completely covered the globe, and all of humanity's forces were fighting them to the death, but the number of Baikukh seemed endless and impossible to defeat.

Upon seeing these flying fish, I immediately knew who my opponent was—the Origin Destruction Sea God, Gakuzom.

This guy's skill level mainly focuses on abstraction. His actual combat power is quite touching. Whether it's Agul V2 or Gaia V2, they both have the strength to defeat him alone. However, when he combines with the Root Destruction Flying Fish Baikuh and transforms into an enhanced form, it's like a god descending to earth. He single-handedly caught the two V2s and whipped them like spinning tops, almost causing Gaia and Agul to replicate the TV finale, both of them collapsing and dying instantly.

Fortunately, the movie didn't have time to dawdle. Not long after Gaia and Agul fell to the ground, the underwater life sent Earth's Light to replenish them, restoring them to their original state. As for whether they were enhanced into Super Gaia, I don't know. Anyway, after being charged, they were like they had been injected with chicken blood. Gaia immediately activated SV and attacked the enhanced Gakuzom, almost kicking the wires off its suit.

If the original Gakuzom were here, even an enhanced version, I wouldn't be afraid at all. But the problem is that very few of the monsters here are of the original strength. They all have some kind of abstract enhancement modifiers, and as the intensity of the battle increases, the enhancement modifiers also begin to become more and more abstract. Almost everyone is a Frankenstein's monster with a different skin.

The best examples are Chimaira and the Bug Bro series. The former stitched together the abilities of almost every alien and monster in the universe, making it like a living Omnitrix. Fortunately, unlike Softia, it doesn't evolve against Gamu, so Gamu dealt with it using some underhanded tricks. Bug Bro's work, on the other hand, is more abstract. It just stitches in underhanded tricks, and it also has Softia's targeted evolution. Although the number of stitches is not large, it is even more disgusting than Chimaira.

It's hard to imagine what kind of enhancements Gakuzom will receive in this dungeon, especially since this thing pulls out the classic black sky effect from the tokusatsu series, which makes it seem even more extraordinary.

Dark Baltans and Imperials followed closely behind Meng and rushed in. They looked around and were momentarily bewildered, wondering, "How are we supposed to fight this? It feels like there's no end in sight, and these guys seem to keep coming back after we kill them."

"We must find the monster they condensed and defeat it to end this." I clearly remember that in the original work, the Root Destruction Flying Fish disappeared instantly after Gakuzom was destroyed. In other words, we must defeat Gakuzom, who is the source, to deal with these flying fish.

“I dream!” Zetton’s voice came from beside her. After sensing that I dream had returned to Earth, she immediately teleported to my dream’s side with Renlong and Kagachi.

"Are you alright?" She looked me up and down, worried that I might have gotten hurt outside.

I waved my hand and said, "I'm fine. How are you all doing?"

“I’m fine, but Renlong and Kagachi don’t seem to be doing well. After those guys blocked out the sun, their power started to weaken.” Jeton looked worriedly at Renlong and Kagachi, who had come with him. They were clearly in a weak state.

"It's alright, I'll transfer some energy to them." I released pure Earth light from my forehead, which flowed into Renlong and Kagachi in turn, instantly restoring them to their original state.

"Won't this affect you?" Zetton looked worried. The existence of the Root Destruction Flying Fish had obviously affected Earth. Since Renlong and Kagachi, as Earth monsters, would be affected, there was no reason why I, as the light of Earth itself, would not be affected.

I shook my head: "I'm fine. I have a way to replenish my energy. Don't worry about me."

She then put aside her worries and asked, "What should we do now? Is there anything we can do to help?"

I looked up at the sky and said, “Although we can’t kill all these flying fish, we can’t let them keep covering the sky like this. Otherwise, they will pile up thicker and thicker, and these guys will fly down and attack. You guys go to various places and cooperate with the defense forces’ Atdis to clear out the flying fish.”

Then, he turned to Dark Baltan and said, "Please stay by my side. If any flying fish come down to ambush me during the battle, please take care of them for me."

Every time I fight a monster that summons destruction, I dream of the valiant Mr. Virginia.

Without his repeated sacrifices and setbacks, I would never have known that the other party had these underhanded tricks up their sleeve.

Agul V2 almost soloed the un-enhanced Gakuzom, but just as he was about to unleash his ultimate to finish it off, he was suddenly ambushed by a flying fish in the sky, and was eventually bound and electrocuted before being killed in a counterattack.

I don't know the strength of the opponent, Gakuzom, but I don't want to be ambushed and killed when I could have won. Having a Dark Baltan by my side who can create many clones and control the enemy makes me feel much more at ease. Moreover, Dark Baltan has technology with unlimited energy, which can help me replenish my energy. Otherwise, I wouldn't dare to share my energy with Renlong and Kagachi under these circumstances.

As the light of Earth, although it has the privilege of almost unlimited energy on Earth, it is not without its drawbacks. If Earth is affected, it will also be weakened. Not only will its value decrease, but its energy reserves will also be greatly affected. It would be much better to carry a power bank like Black Bar with you.

After assigning tasks, the group immediately split up. I Meng led Dark Baltan straight to Gakuzom, while the others dispersed to various locations to clear out Baikuh.
