“Frido, you’ve become like this…it’s quite strange.”

"What's so subtle about it? I'm now a follower of the God of Ga, isn't that great?"

"Indeed..."

"By the way, Cupid, when are you going to return my things?"

"Oh, so I have to pay it back?"

Cupid looked at Fritjof with a surprised expression.

"Nonsense, what else? Do you think we're that close? Giving you something I've kept hidden for so many years is for the God of Ga!"

Frodo, troubled, crossed his arms.

After Gavia made the top of the Himalayas her home, Phridu, who was the 'gatekeeper', naturally followed.

When Vritra saw Gavial's dwelling clearly, he realized that Gavial was an ascetic comparable to Shiva, meaning that he had no house on the summit of the Himalayas. In other words, it was as if he was pointing to a place with nothing and saying that he would live there from now on, experiencing the cold asceticism in the snow-capped mountains.

Although this level of comfort was not a problem for Phrixus and Gavia, Phrixus still thought that since he was now Gavia's attendant, it was only right that he should make his master's life a little better.

As for the Asuras, although Furido didn't really want to pay attention to them anymore, he still glanced at them a little, probably because he was, after all, the first Asura King.

The Asuras, who failed in churning the Ocean of Milk, were relentlessly pursued by the Devas led by Indra. They eventually reached a vast ocean beyond Indra's reach and hid there. Then, at the request of the gods, the hermit of Mount Tok stepped forward.

The Asura of Mount Tok is one of the most powerful sages in India, representing the star Canopus in Indian astronomy and astrology.

Speaking of which, he had a similar practice to Brahma, which was to create a lover. The hermit of Mount Toushan once selected the most essential parts of various animals to create a baby girl named "Remnant Mark". He then gave Remnant Mark to King Vidaliva to raise. When Remnant Mark grew up, the hermit of Mount Toushan married her, and Remnant Mark was pregnant for seven whole years.

At the urging of the gods, the hermit of Mount Tou came to the seashore and drank all the water in the ocean, exposing the Asuras hiding in the sea, and finally destroying them.

Those Asuras who managed to escape had no choice but to accept their fate and go to live in the desolate, uninhabited realm.

That was all that could be said. Furido already knew this after he learned of the failed attempt to seize the Elixir of Immortality, so he just sighed and didn't think about it any further.

"Okay, I'll go back and return those things right away."

In reality, Kama wasn't particularly attached to those things. Although they were indeed very comfortable, they weren't his own after all, and Phrixus was right.

Perhaps surprised by Kama's unrefutable response, or perhaps his previous words were merely a ploy to tease Cupid, in any case, just as Kama was about to fly back, the magic emanating from Phrixus forcibly pulled him back.

"Forget it, don't take it. Just consider it a free gift from me to complete the mission for God Jia."

"Thank you so much……"

Kama was not alarmed and continued to ask calmly, "Pharito, why did the god Gavia give you a task concerning me, 'Kama'?"

"I do not know."

Frido waved his hand somewhat irritably, "Anyway, don't think too much about it. The god of Ga just asked me to deliver it to you on a whim."

I can't exactly say that I and Dhāshīta used the coordinates of your Arrow of Love to try to kill Indra, who couldn't use weapons, and we got a lesson from Kashin. If I said that, how could my majesty as Kashin's follower, the eternal and indestructible demon, compare to that of Vishnu's Shessā, the king of a thousand serpents? I can't embarrass Kashin.

This is what the first Asura King thought.

"……I see."

Given Phritha's refusal and the fact that it seemed to be the best explanation, Kama did not dwell on it further.

"Please convey my gratitude to the god Gavia for me later. I am extremely grateful for the help of the god Gavia. If you have any instructions in the future, please tell me. I will do my best to fulfill them in order to repay the kindness I have shown you today."

It might seem a bit much to say all this just for taking someone home, but in reality, besides being polite remarks, the main reason was that Gavia was a god of divination, and his status was extremely high. Therefore, in Kama's view, it was normal for him to say such things.

Immediately after Kama finished speaking, he saw the usually indifferent Vritra suddenly smile, and his tail moved extremely fast, as if he had become a different species.

"What's wrong……"

Kama blinked his crimson eyes, but then understood everything from Phritha's next words.

"God of Ga, you're back!"

Gavia, who had just bid farewell to the other three ministers—the ones who had organized the gathering for the three ministers and their wives to meet each other—nodded.

Now that his identity had been confirmed, Kama did not hesitate and immediately turned around and lowered his head.

"Kamo, the god of love, has seen Gavia."

Perhaps because of his panic, Kama's voice changed slightly.

"I have heard your thanks, Cupid, and I accept them..."

As Gavia passed Kama, who was bowing his head, he paused for a moment as if pondering or listening to a distant sound, before finally nodding again.

"You're amazing as the goddess of love, you're doing great, keep it up!"

When Kama heard this and looked up to see Gavia, he could only see his back. He couldn't even catch up with him because he was intercepted by Phrixus.

All that could be seen was Gavia's silver hair, seemingly blending into the snow-white Himalayas, her profile, a face from a hazy memory, and her blue eyes...

A beautiful voice, saying it so cheerfully.

A beautiful face, speaking so gently.

She seemed to be smiling all the time.

Like countless flowers blooming in the universe, like countless stars twinkling in the night sky.

"The god Gavia encouraged me to keep going... because I, Kama, am working very hard as the god of love, is that right?"

Although for Kama—

Rather than flowers and stars, it seems more like the embodiment of something that is as numerous as stars throughout the universe.

Chapter 290 The Great Crisis in India Caused by Indra.

As the saying goes, things reach their extremes and then reverse. After the Asuras were mostly wiped out by the Devadatta gods and their remaining forces were forced to go to the underworld, just as the gods were happily looking forward to the future, a violent tremor, as if the heavens and earth were turned upside down, occurred in an instant, causing a shock to Mount Meru that was even more terrifying than the churning of the Ocean of Milk in the past.

The gods were quite puzzled, so they searched together for the source of the tremor and eventually discovered that it was caused by the earth being lifted into the ocean of the universe.

When the greatly shocked Deva arrived at the cosmic ocean in an attempt to bring the earth back, he discovered that the earth's condition was not due to any accident, but rather to human error, or more precisely, the calamity of the Asuras.

Standing on the cosmic ocean, the two Asuras, with their towering figures, gazed upon the approaching Hindu gods. Faced with a vastly superior number of gods, these two Asuras displayed even greater terror than Vritra before them. All the gods were defeated, while Indra, as the king of the gods, was the one who was most severely beaten.

Only afterwards did the gods learn that the two Asuras were named Golden Eyes and Golden Bed.

The gods, utterly defeated, had no choice but to acknowledge one of the demon kings, Golden Bed, as the Heavenly Emperor. The other demon king, Golden Eyes, however, did not enter the Heavenly Realm because he still needed to drag the earth into the cosmic ocean.

In fact, Vishnu and Gavia, two of the Four Symbols, were aware of this unexpected calamity.

Because the Golden Bed and Golden Eyes were originally guards of Vishnu, one day, four sages came to visit Vishnu, but the two brothers stopped them at the gate. The four sages, angered, cursed the two brothers, saying they would be banished to the mortal realm. The brothers went to Vishnu to plead for them. Vishnu said that the curses of these great sages could not be lifted, but he gave them two choices:

First, one is reborn seven times on earth as one's own believer; second, one is reborn three times on earth as one's own enemy.

Unable to imagine being separated from Vishnu for so long, the two chose to become Vishnu's enemies so they could end their reincarnations quickly and return to their master. As a result, they were reborn as two Asuras, namely, Golden Bed and Golden Eyes.

Vishnu knew because it was originally his own place, while Gavia knew because Vishnu had told him, and of course, he also remembered it beforehand.

Seeing the calamities brought to the world by the Asuras incarnated by the two brothers, Vishnu naturally took action.

The first task was to deal with the demon king, Garuda, who had lifted the earth into the ocean of space. Vishnu then transformed into his third avatar, the wild boar Valah, and raised the sunken earth from the sea to kill Garuda.

As for the other demon king, Golden Bed, things are a bit more complicated, because he once prayed to Brahma for blessings during his ascetic practices—

“My Lord, grant me no harm from the creatures you have created. Grant me no death in or outside any house, by day or by night, in the sky or on the earth. Grant me no death from any creatures other than those you have created, that weapons may not wound me, nor may humans or beasts kill me.”

Grant me immortality from all existence and non-existence, and grant me immunity from the deaths of any god or demon. The serpents of the lower realms cannot harm me, and no one can harm you on the battlefield. Therefore you are invincible, and thus grant me unparalleled power as well.

Grant me the sole Lord of existence, reigning over all the gods; grant me the equal glory befitting this identity; grant me the incredible power and the yoga of action gained through asceticism, which I must never lose.

Relying on this unbreakable blessing, the Golden Bed was invincible. As a result, he became arrogant, lawless, and even drove Indra out of the heavenly palace, becoming the king of the gods himself. However, the Golden Bed's son, Praharada, was completely different from the Golden Bed; he believed in Vishnu.

Jinchuang initially tried to dissuade him, but later became angry that he wouldn't listen and wanted to put Prakharata to death.

He released venomous snakes, and a herd of elephants attacked his son. He had people chant spells, poison him, sink him into the ocean, and suppress him with rocks. Later, he even ordered his sister, Hurika, to sit in the fire with the child in her arms. Hurika turned to ashes, but Prakharata miraculously survived.

None of these things could harm Prakharada, because he was protected by Vishnu. After experiencing various events, Prakharada finally gave up and begged Vishnu to kill his father to eliminate the threat. Vishnu naturally agreed, and it was something he had been planning to do for a long time.

One evening, King Prasenajit stood on the threshold beside the palace pillar and, as usual, argued with Prasenajit, asserting that the Vishnu whom Prasenajit believed in was not omnipresent, at least not inside this pillar, and contemptuously struck the pillar with his sword.

At that moment, Vishnu transformed into his fifth avatar, a lion-man, and emerged from the pillar, tearing the demon king's golden bed apart with his claws.

From then on, the two great demon kings who posed a threat to the world were eliminated.

Indra also regained his throne as the King of Gods, but he may have been somewhat obsessed by this event. Originally, Indra had been worried about losing his throne and killed Tashta's child. After being rescued by Kavia on that day, he even had the thought of 'maybe I should just give up the throne'.

As a result of the two demon kings' actions, he inexplicably developed the extreme idea that "the Heavenly Emperor must be mine," and thus set his sights on all those who practiced asceticism in the world. In Indra's view, since the Golden Bed became so powerful through asceticism, why not just kill these people before they succeeded in their asceticism?

Based on this idea, Indra found a hermit who was practicing asceticism, and then simply killed him.

Indra acted swiftly and decisively, but the consequences that followed were enough to destroy the Indian world.

One of the most powerful beings in Hindu mythology is about to be born—

Water-holding.

Shiva, being an ascetic, saw that Indra dared to do such a thing, so he wanted to teach Indra a lesson. He transformed into an ascetic and blocked Indra's path. However, the incorrigible Indra still made a lot of nonsense to Shiva, saying that he had drunk the nectar and was now invincible and immortal as the King of Gods.

Shiva was naturally furious. He opened his third eye, no longer intending to punish Indra, but instead planned to burn him alive. However, the priests and chief priests of the gods were with Indra, desperately apologizing to Shiva. Indra also quickly said that he would change his ways, and only then did Shiva calm down and throw his anger into the sea.

The wrath of the god of destruction turned into an infant when it came into contact with the sea. It was picked up by the sea god Varuna. At that moment, a mermaid was incubating her eggs on the shore. However, the eggs were accidentally crushed by the passing sea god Varuna. The mermaid was very sad, so Varuna took the opportunity to give the mermaid the child he had just received to raise.

"What a lovely child..."

The mermaid, suppressing her grief, gently touched the face of the baby in her arms.

She naturally hated the sea god Varuna who had accidentally killed her unborn child, but she couldn't bring herself to feel disgust for the strange child in her arms.

Perhaps it was due to a mother's instinct.

"If my child could be born like you, he would surely be incredibly cute..."

The mermaid wiped away her tears, smiled at the sleeping child in her arms, and said, "However, from today onwards you are my child. What should I call you...?"

"Let's call him Shuichi."

Just as the mermaid was gently stroking the child in her arms, a voice came from one side of the sea.

She turned her head and saw a silver-haired youth appearing in the seawater, amidst the rising and falling waves, as if he were in an eternal world.

"……Eh?"

The mermaid mother blushed slightly as she looked into those eyes that were as blue as the ocean.

"It takes shape in the sea, hence it is a water-bearer."

"That's not the issue, it just sounds nice..."

The merman stared at Gavia, somewhat bewildered, and asked curiously, "Which god of prophecy are you?"

The mermaid's aura, far surpassing that of Varuna, the sea god, told her that she was definitely one of the gods of form. However, she was just a small mermaid, so she had no chance to go to Mount Meru to meet Vishnu and Brahma, who were on the mountain. As for Kavia and Shiva, who were practicing asceticism, she was even less likely to visit them.

“Gavia”.

Gavia didn't hesitate and directly said the name.

"Ah, so it's the god Gavia. I understand now."

The mermaid nodded repeatedly, "I will tell Little Water Spirit later that his name was personally given by you, the God of Gavia, hehehe."

"Take good care of the water spirit."

Seeing the mermaid's expression, Gavia smiled and nodded before leaving.

The reason why Gavial appeared before Water Deity, who should have been dealt with by Shiva himself, and was given this name, is because Water Deity appeared too early.

Logically speaking, Sati should have appeared after Sati was reincarnated as the goddess of the Himalayas and after Shiva gave birth to Shiganda and Ganesha. However, Sati's lover cursed Vishnu, who caused his wife's suicide, and said that he would eventually drive his wife away and separate from her. This led to the story of Rama and Sita.

All these factors suggest that the birth of Water-bearer should have occurred before Rama, Vishnu's seventh avatar, and after Rama, Vishnu's sixth avatar.

But for some reason, even though Sati had not yet been insulted by her father Daksha and thus performed the Yoga Dance to immolate herself, Parvati had not yet appeared, and even Vishnu had only just finished her fourth incarnation, Water Deity was born prematurely.

Gavia thought about it and still couldn't figure out why this was happening, but she felt it might be due to her own actions, so she arrived here early to name the Water Root.

After all, if the Water Lord is not handled properly, the rules of the gods in the Hindu world may really be broken. Don't think that the Water Lord is just an incarnation of Shiva's anger. In fact, his strength is almost the same as Shiva's. Later, he became the Asura King and one of the most powerful Asuras. He even gained the loyalty of some immortals.

Those were sages! Even Indra himself struggled to gain their loyalty. Water Spirit won them over with his personal charm, though Shiva's influence cannot be ruled out. Furthermore, Water Spirit, as king, ruled the Asuras with justice and civilization, a group known for their cunning, treachery, and ruthlessness, and this approach proved quite effective.

Based on all these signs, Gavia felt it necessary to pay close attention to the possibility that this water-holder might kill Shiva and take his place.

Chapter 291 Praise to Gavia.

Recently, Kama has been very diligent.

Therefore, the Earth, one of the three realms, is filled with the presence of this goddess of love at all times.
