"Here, try this one!"

His eyes were somewhat unreadable, but he still shoved the wand into Severus's hand.

Severus took the wand from his hand, and the moment he touched it, a burst of jubilant silver sparks shot out from its tip!

Then, with a flick of his wrist, Severus used the Flock of Birds technique, feeling as if the small stick was an extension of his own arm, wielding it with remarkable ease.

Moreover, he could clearly feel that the spells he cast with this wand were significantly different from those before!

It was a smoothness that came from within, just as it should be when he cast his spell.

"I feel this one is very good, and it suits me perfectly."

Severus said with satisfaction, then turned to look at Ollivander, only to see that the old man's expression was not one of joy or excitement, but rather rather strange.

Is there something wrong with it?

"No! There's nothing wrong with this wand! Eleven inches long, made of holly, from the tail feathers of a phoenix named Fawkes, soft and flexible, precise and ideal for combat."

Ollivander talked on and on, his eyes shining as he looked at Severus.

"But it's also peculiar because there's another wand that shares a phoenix tail feather with it! That means this wand has a brother! Can you guess who bought its brother wand?"

Upon hearing this strangely familiar description, Severus stared in astonishment at the holly wand in his hand.

Hollywood, the tail feathers of Fox, are related by the same core.

This is the one Harry should normally buy before school starts!

"Don't tell me its sibling wand was bought by a mysterious person many years ago?"

“You actually knew that! He even talked to you about his wand?” Ollivander grabbed Severus’s sleeve, making it seem like he could tear Severus’s robes to shreds.

Clearly, he knew that Severus had once followed that man.

“I guessed.” Severus looked puzzled, finding this somewhat unexpected. “But it’s just a wand core; it still works normally, right?”

"Of course! It has no problems at all, and it will work very well!"

Ollivander assured him.

Severus seemed to have thought of something again. He stared into Ollivander's eyes and suddenly asked.

"If this wand suits me well, then its sibling wand, would it also be highly compatible with me?"

Ollivander hesitated for a moment before speaking.

"Because there has never been such a precedent, I have almost never used the same material from magical creatures to make different wands, but theoretically it should be so, and that wand was made of yew wood, which has similar properties to holly, one symbolizing immortality and the other signifying rebirth."

"Holly symbolizes rebirth?" Severus looked down at the wand in his hand again, and he seemed to understand why it had chosen him.

"Yes! At Christmas, everyone hangs holly wreaths on their doors, right? That's where its symbolism comes from: death and rebirth! And the phoenix tail feathers in the core of the wreath further emphasize this characteristic!"

Ollivander spoke at length.

"That's it!"

Without further hesitation, Severus pulled Galleons from his pocket.

Ollivander smiled and accepted the money, saying to Severus.

"From birch to holly, from snake nerves to phoenix tail feathers, the change in your wand is enough to show your transformation, Professor Snape! I sincerely hope that your repentance will bring you a bright future!"

Severus finally thanked him.

"thank you for your good wishes."

"Goodbye!"

"Goodbye."

And so Severus left Ollivander's wand shop with the new wand that was meant for his future student.

As for what he will use the holly wand now that he has bought it, what will he do with it in the future?

Severus had already planned this when he made the inquiry about the same core wand.

Since the two wands with the same core have the same affinity, he could simply take Harry to find the other yew wand before school starts and see where Voldemort, who had already turned to gas, had hidden it.

If he could find it, he would pass it on to Harry directly from his former master's yew wood, this holly wood.

Wouldn't that be the best of both worlds?

No one will get hurt because of the wand!

After acquiring the new wand, Severus was in high spirits and reunited with Lupin and Harry.

They are observing all sorts of strange animals at the magical zoo.

“There’s a cat over there! It looks really ugly!” Harry said, pointing to a ginger-colored kitten with bowlegs and a flat face.

Lupin stroked his chin as he analyzed the situation for him.

"This cat may have the blood of a tabby cat."

Severus, standing behind them, also saw the ginger kitten that would one day be named Crookshanks by a little girl. He stroked his chin, remembering something else.

“Harry, you’ve lost it twice already. It’s not good to keep losing things when you encounter problems.”

Upon hearing his voice, Lupin and Harry turned around and realized that he had already come looking for them.

Harry was also innocent in relation to Severus's words.

"I don't want to either, but things don't go the way I want them to."

"Perhaps I can prepare something for you."

Severus seemed to have thought of something, and he glanced at the time.

"It's still early, we can definitely go and explore another alley, we should be able to find something there."

He led Harry and Lupin through a maze of twists and turns in Diagon Alley, deeper and deeper, until finally, through a dark alley, he led them to another wizarding business alley, quite famous among certain wizarding communities—

Knockturn Alley.

This place is completely different from the clean and tidy Diagon Alley. The alleys are narrow and winding, and the medieval-style buildings are generally tilted and damaged.

Even though it was already morning and the sun was rising, the streets were still shrouded in a gloomy fog, and many of the few kerosene streetlights on both sides of the street were broken.

“This is not a good place.” Lupin frowned slightly and pulled Harry closer to himself and Severus.

“That depends on the wizard.” Severus led them forward with a clear goal in mind. “I’ve made a lot of Galleons on this street. Some of the medicines you can’t buy in Diagon Alley, no matter how much money you offer.”

Influenced by the atmosphere of the street, Harry also became very wary, clutching the corner of Severus's robe with one hand and Lupin's sleeve with the other.

The three of them continued deeper into the area until they stopped in front of a magical items shop with a sign that read "[Bokin-Bock]".

Just by looking at the outside, you can tell that this shop is not a proper shop. Through the window, you can see withered human hands, bloodstained playing cards, and lifeless glass eyeballs.

"Remember, once you're inside, don't speak, and don't touch anything."

Severus gave Harry instructions, while signaling with his eyes that Lupin and others would keep an eye on Harry.

The two, one big and one small, nodded together, indicating that they fully understood.

Only then did Severus push open the shop door and go inside.

Behind the counter directly opposite the shop door sat a hunched-over wizard with greasy hair that was just as striking as the once-ghostly Snape's.

"Ah! What an unexpected and distinguished guest!"

Upon seeing Severus, the wizard, with the same slick, oily tone and exaggerated manner as his greasy hair, stood up from his chair.

"Professor Snape, you've been making quite a splash in the wizarding world lately! I thought I'd lost such a distinguished guest forever, and that we'd never cross paths again!"

He said with a smile.

Severus, however, didn't care about his approach.

His relationship with Borgin was mutually beneficial; in the past, Borgin sometimes needed forbidden potions as commodities, and Snape would help brew them for a fee. At the same time, Snape would also buy forbidden materials from Borgin that could not be purchased in Diagon Alley.

The two were quite familiar with each other, which is why Bojin spoke in such a teasing and sarcastic tone.

Severus didn't stand on ceremony with him.

"Enough with the nonsense. I remember you have a pocket watch here, don't you?"

"Which piece are you talking about? The one made from hand bones?" Bogin asked, raising an eyebrow.

“It’s not a cursed item, it’s a half-damaged alchemical pocket watch. You talked to me about it a long time ago. You misjudged that pocket watch and suspected it was a work by Nicolas Flamel, but it was already damaged and most of its functions were unusable. It was just a useless locator.”

Bokin clearly understood what Severus was talking about. He bent down and searched through the pile of bones and eyeballs, eventually finding a simple, antique silver pocket watch!

Its exterior appears to be a piece of art with a long history, but once the lid is opened, one can see that the pocket watch has no hands or time markings on its dial, only silver runes engraved on the black dial.

“You must be mistaken!” Bogin’s eyes darted around noticeably. “I never said I was wrong. This is indeed a work by Nicolas Flamel! It has a great deal of potential for restoration, and its function is not just limited to positioning!”

Severus completely ignored him, and simply pulled out a handful of Galleons from his pocket, slapping 20 of them onto the counter.

"These are all. If you think they're worth selling, I'll take them. If you don't think they're worth selling, I can go to the Magical Joke Shop in Diagon Alley and find a Tracking Owl to replace them."

“Who told us to have such a good relationship!” Bogin slammed the pocket watch onto the counter. “Twenty Galleons it is! These days, any piece by Nicolas Lemaître can easily sell for thousands of Galleons. You got it for only twenty Galleons? You’ve definitely gotten a steal!”

Borgin collected the money with astonishing speed; Harry didn't even notice his hand move, and the 20 Galleons that had been on the counter vanished without a trace.

Severus then took the pocket watch.

Bokin's smile widened even further.

"Do I need to repeat the specific usage? You need to bind it with a small spell, and then whenever you use the Mark to reveal, the mark drawn by the wand will automatically guide you to the location of the pocket watch."

“You already told me everything, of course I understand.”

After buying the items, Severus had no intention of lingering. He immediately put the pocket watch in his pocket and then left Borgin's Blog with Harry and Lupin.

On the way out of Knockturn Alley, Severus took out the pocket watch again, tapped it with his wand, and a small silver snake-shaped mark appeared on the inner dial. Finally, he handed the positioning pocket watch to Harry.

"Wear it with you. If anything happens to you again, I'll be able to find you immediately."

Harry was delighted. He took the pocket watch, fiddled with it in his hand for a long time, and then put it in his pocket.

After purchasing everything they needed, Severus and his two companions did not linger in Diagon Alley any longer.

Dumbledore invited them to dinner, and they couldn't very well show up at mealtimes without giving old Dumbledore any face.

Around 10:30 a.m., the three returned to the Leaky Cauldron and used FlooNet to travel to Hogsmeade, a wizarding town near Hogwarts, before setting off from there.

We arrived at Hogwarts Castle.

Chapter 101 The Hogwarts Welcoming Team

"Who would believe that the person mentioned in this news is actually Snape?"

In the Hogwarts professors' common room, Headmistress of Hufflepuff, Professor Pomona Sprout, who had just returned from the greenhouse, saw today's edition of the Daily Prophet and said incredulously.

"To be honest, although I know that sometimes I shouldn't do this, and I often teach my students not to be prejudiced, my previous impression of Snape is really hard to change."

McGonagall, who was also sitting in the common lounge, was drinking red tea with a complicated expression on her face.

She had already seen the news this morning, but even though she knew some of the inside story about Severus's current state, McGonagall was still shocked by what he had done in the past two weeks.

How many days has it been?

He has completely reversed the public's perception of him in the magical world and turned his reputation around.

Moreover, he was one of the first to know that Snape had completely changed overnight.

After witnessing the rainy day with Dumbledore and picking Harry Potter up from the Dursleys, McGonagall was actually wary and resentful of this new Severus Snape.

No matter how unlikeable Snape may have been, he was at least someone whom Hogwarts knew very well.

And having worked together for so many years, even if we don't interact much on a daily basis, there is still some colleague friendship between us.

Severus is a different person now, but what about the Snape of the past?

Then came the matter of bringing Harry away from his aunt's house.

McGonagall had no objection to bringing him out, given that Dumbledore had given his prior consent. However, she was concerned that Severus would reveal his deep-seated hatred for his parents to a child who hadn't even turned nine yet.

This greatly displeased McGonagall.

Although she is a strict professor, she has always been very concerned about her students' emotions and mental health.

However, this was just a disagreement about raising children, and it didn't cause McGonagall much resentment.

Finally, here are the things that have happened these past few days.
