Snape, the Sunshine of Hogwarts

The administrator pointed to a spot on the west side of the intersection, near the trash can.
"It stopped there, and stayed there for about twenty minutes."
Kingsley did not continue questioning the administrator, but instead walked to the spot he indicated.
A vertical parking space has been marked here, which the traffic cameras at the intersection cannot detect.
He paced back and forth in the parking space, his mind replaying the scene he had seen on the surveillance camera and the administrator's words, trying to find further clues.
However, despite having all the information, he couldn't figure out where Snape's real destination was after he realized he had gone the wrong way!
But Kingsley felt he couldn't give up on this lead; there must be some important information hidden here, he just hadn't discovered it yet.
His anxiety affected his thinking, making it difficult for Kingsley to concentrate fully.
He reached into his pocket, where there was a small, extremely precious, golden vial—
Frucrine.
He had always carried a small vial with him since becoming an Auror, but Kingsley had never encountered a situation where he needed to drink the potion himself, not even when facing the vicious Death Eaters.
This time, he hesitated for only a few seconds before taking out Felix Felicis from his pocket, unscrewing the cap and carefully taking a sip!
An incredibly exhilarating feeling flowed through Kingsley's body, as if there were endless opportunities.
He felt he could do anything, everything...
He stopped being anxious and began to carefully observe everything around the parking space.
"Who's in charge of garbage collection here?" Kingsley asked Officer Gloucester beside him.
The police officer hurriedly pulled out a phone book.
"Yes, it's Mrs. Newman!"
"Could you please call her over here for me?"
As Kingsley spoke, he looked up at the apartment building on the side of the road. The two windows facing the parking space were lit with warm yellow nightlights, indicating that someone lived there.
He pointed to the window and said.
"Could you also invite those two families upstairs to come down?"
His invitation was quickly granted; Mrs. Newman, who was in charge of garbage collection, was called from her home, and the two households in the apartment were also brought down.
"Around 11 o'clock, were you working, madam?" Kingsley asked the old lady named Newman first.
"I work every single day!" Mrs. Newman's voice was loud and fierce. "I'm responsible for all the garbage on this street at all times! But the salary they pay me isn't even enough to support myself and my husband who can only lie in bed eating and drinking!"
"At 11:20, right next to this trash can, were you here at the time?" Kingsley was frighteningly calm, his voice carrying a strange seduction as he asked the question.
“I think… I think I was probably dealing with the dumpsters here at the time.” Mrs. Newman’s voice was not as loud as it had been at the beginning.
“Very good, your hard work will bring you the rewards you deserve. Now please continue to recall, when you were cleaning up the trash, did you see a car parked next to you? There was at least one child and one girl in the car, and the driver was a man with a short ponytail.”
"Yes! Yes!" Mrs. Newman's voice suddenly rose. "I remember now! Yes, they were sitting in a car that looked like a box, and there weren't just the three you mentioned, but a whole car full of people! There was also a tall guy in the back seat whose head was practically touching the roof, and a short, fat man wearing glasses who was writing something the whole time!"
"Did you hear them talking?" The closer they got, the calmer Kingsley became, so calm that he could even hear his own steady breathing.
"I only heard the child say one thing: 'We're going back to Surrey!'"
Under the streetlights stood Kingsley, an experienced wizard who had captured many dark wizards.
He laughed.
"It's in Surrey County."
Please don't let it sit unread, I've updated quite a bit already. I released the book on the 5th, and it's been exactly 20 days now, and I've already reached almost 120,000 words, averaging nearly 6,000 words a day, which is a lot for a new book.
Chapter 45 Come Back to the Ministry of Magic with Me
After drinking Felix Felicis, the user will have a state of being and luck far exceeding the norm for 12 hours!
After learning that Snape had taken his men to Surrey, Kingsley did not stop there. He questioned the two apartment residents and learned that the car parked in that spot was started and driven away around 11:50 a.m.
He gave orders to the sheriffs who were following him.
"Go and wake up your chief and tell him to immediately send men to Surrey County!"
After saying that, he left alone along the street.
The officers looked at him in confusion, and a sheriff asked loudly.
"Commissioner! Where are you going?"
“The government needs me to report on some things separately. Don’t worry about me, I’ll be waiting for you in Surrey.”
Kingsley said without turning his head.
Soon, he completely disappeared from the sight of the police officers and arrived at a secluded alley.
He used Apparition to return to the temporary Auror office set up by Robaz.
Robazs, who had been investigating through magical channels all day without finding anything, was still awake. He immediately heard Kingsley's question after he revealed himself.
What does Surrey County have?
Robaz only paused briefly before quickly recovering.
"There are many villages there inhabited by wizards and Muggles! There's also a rumor that Dumbledore might have sent the boy who survived to that place!"
Upon hearing Robazs's words, Kingsley's mind was filled with countless thoughts.
He thought of the boy with Snape, the one whose face seemed somewhat familiar, and of what he had just heard from Mrs. Newman—the boy saying, "We're going back to Surrey." He also thought of the rumors about Snape's relationship with a certain woman during his school days.
Perhaps influenced by Felix Felicis, an extremely bold guess emerged in his mind.
Kingsley himself was somewhat startled by the speculation, but he quickly calmed down and buried the sudden thought deep in his heart, regardless of whether he was right or wrong!
He continued asking questions without revealing his true feelings.
Which wizarding families live there?
Robazs, unaware of Kingsley's unusual behavior, summoned one of his men and ordered him to retrieve the Auror's internal documents.
"The Weasleys are a pure-blood family, and others include the Diggory, Fawcett, Lovegood, and so on."
Upon hearing the surname Weasley, Robards stared at Kingsley.
"Could he be thinking of going to Weasley?"
Kingsley shook his head almost instinctively.
"No! That's unlikely. He's never had any connection with Weasley, nor does he have any reason to go looking for Arthur and Molly!"
"Then who can he look for there?"
A thought vaguely arose in Kingsley's mind. He was certain that it shouldn't have been his intuition, but rather a whimsical idea that popped into his head under the influence of Felix Felicis!
“I firmly believe Snape is innocent!” he suddenly said. “But if he is truly innocent and chooses to run away instead of trusting the Aurors and the Ministry of Magic, how can he prove his innocence?”
Robaz just stared at Kingsley, sensing that Kingsley was in a rather strange state, and he couldn't keep up with the other's thought process at all.
Kingsley didn't voice his guess; he simply directed the other Aurors.
"Apparate to Autri-Saint-Cachipol village! All of you! Now!"
The moment he finished speaking, he brandished his wand, his body contorted in the air, and he vanished from the spot in an instant.
The other Aurors, including Robaz, also used Apparition.
At the same time, in the village of Autri-Saint-Cachipol, more than a dozen figures appeared in phantom form!
"Robbaz, take your men and go check out the Weasleys. It's unlikely, but we should still go," Kingsley commanded.
Robazs didn't set off immediately, but instead looked at Kingsley.
Where are you taking your people?
"The Diggory family! Amos Diggory works for the Ministry of Magic, so Snape might go to him!"
The two then parted ways.
Robbarz led his men to Weasley, and Kingsley led his men to Diego.
However, Kingsley and his Aurors had barely left the village of Autri-Saint-Catchbol when he sent the others to visit Digolina, claiming that he had suddenly had some ideas and wanted to look elsewhere.
After parting ways with his men, Kingsley turned and headed straight for a small hill in the village of Autri-Saint-Catchpol.
It's very late now, almost midnight. The sky is overcast, and you can't see any stars or moon. A night wind is blowing, and it looks like it will rain soon.
Kingsley, wand in hand, began to climb the mountain.
The wind made his robe rustle loudly!
He squinted, feeling himself getting better and better, as if everything in the world was looking out for him!
Then he saw a figure on the road leading to the top of the mountain.
The figure bent down in front of a car, as if giving instructions to someone in the driver's seat.
Kingsley stopped and looked at the figure standing in the middle of the road.
At that moment, the man seemed to notice a gaze fixed on him, and he turned to look at Kingsley in the middle of the road.
Their gazes met in mid-air. Neither of them could make out what the other looked like, only a vague outline. But at that moment, it was as if they both realized who the other was!
The figure in front of the car straightened up, patted the car door, and whispered something to the person sitting in the driver's seat.
The next moment, the engine roared to life, and the car shot off like an arrow. The headlights illuminated Kingsley in the middle of the road, and also allowed Kingsley to see the two people sitting in the front seat!
A tall, pale-faced, and nervous young man, and the boy in the passenger seat!
The car sped past Kingsley, but Kingsley didn't even glance at it. He just stared at the figure left behind and shouted.
"Severus Snape!"
His voice was carried by the wind and reached the ears of the figure.
The figure slowly moved forward, finally revealing its true form completely in Kingsley's sight!
The man who had already shown him an amazing transformation back in Gringotts, with his neat, clean black hair and a perpetually gentle smile, stood before him.
"Shakel, should I say it's been a long time, or am I just lucky to run into you here?"
Severus extended the hand that had been hidden in his sleeve, and the tip of his wand was now glowing faintly!
Kingsley took a deep breath and unbuttoned the top button of his robe.
"Come back to the Ministry of Magic with me! No matter what your reasons were for committing these crimes, I guarantee you will receive the fairest judgment!"
Chapter 46 Duel
After reaching an agreement with Lovegood, Severus originally planned to leave immediately.
But Lovegood asked if they could stay a little longer, because Luna had come up to report that she wanted to take Harry to the nearest stream to catch rainbowfish.
Severus, of course, had no reason to refuse, as he had always hoped that Harry could interact more with people his own age.
Afterwards, he and Lovegood discussed in detail the follow-up to the Quibbler report, and when Luna's mother Pandora returned in the evening, they were still eager to invite Severus and the others to dinner.
Being able to be with Lovegood, Pandora was clearly not a conventional witch. She was beautiful and generous, and had extremely bold experiments and research on spells.
When she got home and saw Severus, she was startled and instinctively grabbed Luna's arm, trying to run away with her daughter.
It wasn't until Lovegood explained things to her and Severus sincerely apologized to her in person, cleaning up the mess that Ghost Snape had made, that the atmosphere lightened up again.
This also shows that although the Lovegood family is eccentric, they are all very nice people.
Snape, who was previously a Death Eater, seemed to have held back a lot out of consideration for their past relationship, but he still blew up their house and left them hanging in mid-air to intimidate them.
Now, Severus only had to come to apologize, and they were willing to accept it and treat him with hospitality without holding a grudge, which moved Severus deeply.
Even Snape the Ghost remained silent from the moment he entered, saying nothing about Severus's "unilateral" apology for his past self.
Pandora cooked a very sumptuous dinner using fish that Luna and Harry had caught from the river.
Both children looked extremely happy; they rarely had such a lively time together.
The adults were also very happy. Lovegood brought up a barrel of cider from the cellar with emotion. Except for Bloodny, who was not fond of alcohol and had to take care of Patty, so he drank a blood-tonifying medicine, the other four drank heartily.
Pandora was moved to tears as she listened to Henney recount his experiences with Patty.
Wolpe was clearly not a good drinker; after only a few drinks, he seemed to hallucinate that Slughorn was standing in front of him, weeping and apologizing, saying that he had no other choice but to persuade Bloodny to steal the potion.
