One is the [Kuranta Knight of Glory], which provides health and mana regeneration and the ability to grow to gigantic size.

Another one is [Iron Sun], which, although it cannot actively create conditions for gigantification like [Rainbow], still provides benefits under normal circumstances.

There is also the tithe, which is obtained by defeating knights and gaining the respect of the Kazimierz.

Loting doesn't care about money, he only cares about fame. That really means that only fame is profitable for him. Spreading the legend of the Brass Ghost here is not impossible, but it is obviously not as efficient as using this skin for activities.

Trying to have both might result in neither side spreading the message effectively.

Since these people choose to call him "Knight Lord" in this form, let them be.

"I saw familiar faces."

Lotin, who played a key role in the Lungmen Guard Bureau's defensive campaign, could not possibly be unfamiliar with this uniform.

The optical camouflage cloak and infrared lens clearly indicate that it belongs to the stealth unit of the Integrated Movement.

"Big Bob's team."

Lotin recalled the plot of "The Cavalry and the Hunter," and the Reunion Movement squad operating in Waterdrop Village could only be the one led by Big Bob.

Will they choose to fight to the death like the mercenary groups destroyed by Lottin?

A burly, heavily armed soldier emerged from the woods, placed his chainsaw on the ground, and, to the astonishment of his subordinates, raised his hands in surrender.

“Sir Knight, we are law-abiding bounty hunters. We have only helped the nearby villages hunt harmful beasts. We have never committed murder or robbery.”

The burly man who emerged was indeed the Big Bob that Lottin knew well, but even with his massive size, he could only be overshadowed by the giant knight's shadow.

And this statement itself has indeed been true up to now; they have not harassed innocent villagers like other mercenary groups.

"You are not bounty hunters."

"You are part of the Reunion Movement."

Lotin discovered the remaining Reunion members hidden in the bushes; under the light of the Knight of Light, the hideouts had nowhere to hide.

The white masks and orange crosses revealed their identities, but now that their leaders had been defeated by Lotin, the remaining scattered soldiers could hardly cause any more trouble.

Big Bob is not a man without dignity, but under the heavy pressure of survival, what does a moment's pride matter?

They needed the treasure as funds to start a new life in Colombia. He had to give his brothers an explanation; he couldn't let his own whims lead to their needless deaths.

He wanted to turn around and comfort his brothers, but found it was completely pointless. No one dared to make a move, and weapons fell to the ground as their hands trembled.

They witnessed the miserable fate of other resisting mercenary groups.

"You want to pick up the chainsaw from the ground and fight me?"

Although Loting asked the other party this question, he clearly sensed that the heavily armed warrior had no will to fight and was truly surrendering.

"Don't dare."

"We have already shed enough blood to survive; if we were to lose our lives for it, it would be putting the cart before the horse."

Big Bob knew very well that only the gleaming gold coins in his hand were the most real things; so-called ideals and beliefs were worthless, as the defeated tyrant had proven.

She deserved this fate.

Big Bob knew very well that he could only choose between treasure and life before this giant knight.

“Sir Knight, we must give my brother an explanation; we cannot be without this money.”

He needed the money to ensure their journey to Colombia, where, at least for the time being, infected individuals were allowed to own their own land and towns.

"I had no intention of taking the treasure from the cave."

"But this also means that the treasures in these hoards belong to their original owners."

Lotin had promised Chlor the key to the lighthouse in the treasure and the word of his name passed down through generations in exchange for his protection, and Lotin's principle was always that once he made a promise, he would never go back on it.

The village of Lotin needed this treasure, and in the original story, it was out of goodwill and gratitude for Big Bob's help in resisting the mercenary group that Chief Chlor voluntarily gave away the remaining treasure after repairing the village.

That opportunity no longer exists.

“Merciful knight, we will not make things difficult for the villagers, and we don’t even need the entire treasure.”

Big Bob is undoubtedly begging for alms; this is the struggle of an infected person trying to survive.

"Are you from Kazimir?"

At least in the original storyline, Big Bob and his men all speak Kazimierz and can communicate with the local villagers without any problems. Since the identities of these people are not explained in the story, Lotin needs to confirm them.

“The brothers are all from Kazimierz. They were all born in Kazimierz, but unfortunately contracted Oripathy and had no other choice but to join the Reunion Movement.”

"But all those promises from the Reunion Movement were just empty promises—"

"Sister, give them some gold coins."

Loting interrupted the other person's complaints, just as he had done in Lungmen, he had no interest in the suffering of the infected.

Laurentina tossed out a heavy bag of gold coins.

"Enough for you to get to Colombia."

“Since you describe me as a benevolent knight, then erect a monument to me on your farm.”

This is also a test, a test of whether they are truly Qazimirians, a test of whether they are fooling themselves.

Big Bob respectfully opened the bag of gold coins, which contained Victoria gold coins, which had a higher purchasing power than the currency of Kazimierz.

"You are a kind and compassionate person."

Big Bob held up the bag of gold coins to show his brothers behind him. The genuine Victorian gold coins let these Reunion members, who had actually broken away from the movement, know that there was still hope for their future.

“I have a lot of experience in armor maintenance, and I can offer you a whole set of new maintenance tools and a maintenance manual I have compiled.”

The two men, who were reluctant to take off their armor year-round, had some similar needs, and Lotin did not refuse, happily accepting the gift.

In a sense, these two people can be considered to have the same type of stand-in.

And so, the stacks of [Knight of Glory] and [Iron Sun] indeed began to accumulate, further confirming that the other party was not lying, and the honor points were indeed accumulating. Big Bob's brothers were indeed, as he said, mostly Kazimierz.

Because Big Bob lost his will to fight and surrendered right away, the system even gave him a defeat reward of a little over 200 gold coins.

Big Bob gratefully led the infected group away from Waterdrop Village. They received start-up capital, while Lotin received passive buffs, honor points, and a kill reward.

With all threats eliminated, Loting only needed to return to Waterdrop Village and open the long-sealed treasure.

Sixty years later, Lotin is finally about to touch upon clues related to the Fool again, which unusually stirs up some emotions in him.

Chapter 78: Digging My Own Grave

The villagers of Waterdrop Village, with their doors and windows tightly shut, could only see a few exaggerated flashes of light leaking through the cracks in their windows, and faint screams drifting from afar, all of which proved that this unusually tall knight was eliminating the threat to the village.

"The villains who coveted the treasure have been wiped out, and the knights have returned in triumph!"

Finally, the giant knight returned in triumph, and the mercenary groups that had tried to seize the treasure were all wiped out. His nun announced another glorious victory, although in Laurentina's own eyes, these mercenary groups were not really enemies.

However, these rhetoric were necessary in order to establish awe and authority among these Qasimir people.

A villager boldly opened the window, and in the empty village meeting place, there was only a knight who was over 4 meters tall and two Agor men dressed in white.

Laurentina's announcement prompted more and more villagers to tentatively peek out. Lotin tossed the half-burnt hat of the bounty hunter leader, "Captain," into the air, displaying the few remaining spoils of war.

"I will find the best stonemason in the village as agreed and have all your achievements engraved on it."

The village chief, Chlor, bowed deeply in gratitude, while the giant knight merely nodded slightly; he had something more urgent to see.

"Take me to the place where the treasure is buried."

Lotin stated the priorities he wanted to be addressed, and then Corral carefully retrieved a complex key with a tubular attachment from a hidden corner of the house.

This is a secret passed down through her family for generations.

Korre led Lotin and his group into a deep cave. Of course, under the light of the [Knight of Light], it was not dark at all. The route she had followed with her family as a child was now presented to her with perfect clarity.

Polished stone bricks from the tomb appeared on the cave walls, and ancient Kazimierz script was carved into the stone slabs. Lotin, with his [Light Knight] skin, had a higher level of Kazimierz language proficiency, so he could easily recognize these ancient Kazimierz inscriptions.

The Tomb of Nautilus, the Knight of Light

Lotin froze instantly. Although the sarcophagus of Cherbernorg had the word "sarcophagus" in its name, it was essentially just a home-use physiological repair device.

But this grave is now a real grave, clearly marked "Tomb of Nautilus, the Knight of Light".

The feeling of robbing one's own grave is not exactly common, but it is certainly extremely eerie.

As they ventured deeper into Lotin, the carvings on the stone walls became even denser.

These inscriptions describe the legend of the "Last Knight" returning from the sea, battling a giant knight radiating light who successfully kept his warhorse and spear aimed at the raging sea.

However, the stone inscriptions on the wall do not specify whether this "Knight of Light" was actually buried.

This also explains why the tomb is so spacious, but the coffin is completely empty, with only a treasure chest lying alone inside.

If Lotin arrives here before he has collected all the [Light Knight] fragments, he will receive the same skin fragment reward as if he had touched the sarcophagus.

“This is a precious item that has been passed down through generations in our family. My father said that one of our most important responsibilities is to take care of this key.”

Krol took out the key and handed it to Lotin.

"So, your family has kept this tomb a secret for generations, even though you don't even know who this knight is?"

Lotin has already visited several countries in Terra. Agor and Iberia chose to spread the story of the Deep Sea Titans, while Yan Kingdom attaches great importance to the legend of the Mountain and Sea Scroll. Even the old black serpent remembers the conqueror's posture of crushing the enemy for the Sarkaz.

However, Lotin had never seen a case like Casimir's before.

The family that holds the key to the treasure is no longer even known to the owner of the tomb. It's hard to imagine what Kazimierz has given up in the process of modernization.

"I'm very sorry, Sir Knight, I don't recognize the writing on it."

Korrol lowered her head in fear. Lotin's words were indeed laced with anger, but it was directed at Kazimierz, not at the village chief.

"I don't mean to blame you. I just want to confirm if you've heard any legends or stories about the Great Knight?"

Luo Ting thought that he couldn't possibly leave without leaving a single word, after all, his own "grave" was right in front of him.

"I heard the story of the Giant Knight and the Mad Knight once from the merchants who were active in this area."

After regaining her composure slightly, Coral quickly told Lotin the story she had heard from the merchants.

It basically corresponds to the carvings on the stone wall.

At least this area has been affected by this history, and some remnants of this influence still remain today.

Lotin removed his helmet; now possessing the body of a Kuranta, he plunged the spike of the key into his neck.

The blood quickly filled the storage jar inside the key, and the core was now activated, transforming into a form capable of opening the treasure chest.

For Lotin, whose life force is exceptionally high, this amount of blood is nothing.

Before Lotin could put his helmet back on, Laurentina playfully licked Lotin's wound, then looked satisfied.

The treasure chest was opened, and one of the special "stones" was Lotin's target; it was the key to restarting the "Eye of Iberia".

"finally……"

Lotin carefully stored it in the system's storage space; he had finally obtained the key item needed to find the Fool.

He kept trying to convince himself to let go of the ship, but he still couldn't shake the feeling of it.

But there's no need to rush; there are other preparations to be made.

This system has limited space, and it experienced a margin call once when faced with a massive amount of Wei Yanwu Long Bubble.

Therefore, it is better to prioritize using it for storing important items.

However, the trash generated from the lottery is automatically disposed of inside, requiring Loting to clean it manually, which is quite a hassle.

In the original work, the owner of the treasure had passed away many years ago, so the treasure was actually owned by Waterdrop Village.

Lotin had only just learned that the tomb containing the treasure belonged to [Nottils, the Knight of Light], which is why he had previously assumed that the treasure, like in the original story, belonged to some nameless knight who had long since passed away.

"This gold belongs to you as agreed."

Given the current situation, it wouldn't be wrong to say that the treasure belongs to Lotin, but the gold is really useless to him.

If we leave them to the villagers, let them finish repairing the village and use the rest as ritual offerings, we might be able to receive two kinds of tithes at the same time, without having to spread the legend of the brass ghost.

"Thank you for your generosity, my lord."

The villagers of Waterdrop Village, whose village and farmland have been destroyed by bounty hunters, do need extra funds to get through this difficult time, but Laura's request is not out of unreasonable greed.

“Take out a few of them as offerings and place them in front of the stone tablet. If you do that, I will continue to protect this village.”

Loting didn't need to be too definitive, but Lori understood the meaning behind his words; she would only use the gold from the treasure trove within necessary limits.
