The Sky Comet Dragon engine, which received a huge amount of biological energy, suddenly spewed out a red tail flame. The feeling of acceleration made Leon sure that this place had indeed merged with the real space.

The "Hunter" was trying its best to move forward in the subspace. The armor plates from head to tail were making sounds of being unable to bear the load as they were squeezed by gravity.

But the machine spirit that was born from the space hulk and was unwilling to become a space hulk again tried its best to maintain the overall stability of the ship, so that the people on board could still see the dawn of escaping from the subspace.

Soon, everyone on board saw the entrance to the real universe that had been torn apart in the subspace. Although it had begun to heal, the 'wound' that was over 3,000 kilometers long was still a huge obstacle for Leon's small ship.

Even though the entrance and exit could easily accommodate their ship, Leon still did not dare to relax for a moment. The moment the ship passed through the subspace entrance and exit torn open by others, he sternly issued a second order:

"Keep the engines at full speed, full left rudder! Let's get out of this gravity field!"

After entering the physical universe, the pull of gravity increased instead of decreasing. Even the people on the ship could clearly feel their bodies becoming heavier.

Fortunately, Leon's order was issued in time, and the ship adjusted its course in time and miraculously survived the ravages of gravity. After the oppression of gravity was relieved, the people on the ship had time to look back and see what was the culprit that caused all this.

Just one glance, and Armidale could never close his mouth again.

"Imperial Truth, above all..."

He looked at the planet that was slowly moving behind them in disbelief: "What the hell is this?!"

It was a man-made satellite as big as the moon. Green waves surged on its surface, forming a grinning orc totem.

Even a fleeting glimpse is enough to leave an indelible impression!

PS1: Tomorrow is New Year's Day holiday, I wish you all a happy time

I hope no one else has to receive overtime pay with tears like me-_- 14

PS2: Try to collect a wave of the second legion's extras, just mark the name and the monster hunter weapon you want to use.

Just post it in this post room 3

Maybe I'll write about it later, but I can't guarantee when.

Chapter 44: Battle Moon

Of course, Amidel could recognize what those green creatures and huge totems represented, but it was precisely because he knew that he found it hard to believe.

"Orcs..." he muttered softly.

"To be precise, it's the battle moon of the Orks." After maneuvering the ship out of danger, Leon walked up to Amidel and looked down at this "living" planet with him.

The goal of this combat moon was very clear. Having just arrived directly above the planet from the subspace, the moon almost immediately entered the planet's orbit and launched an attack on the actions below.

Li Ang had guessed this since he first encountered the abnormal gravitational fluctuations, and now he saw that it was true.

Even a space hulk made up of a dozen battleships put together would not produce such powerful gravitational waves. So what other possible culprit could be the battle moon that is jumping from the subspace onto a planet?

However, Amidel's performance was a bit beyond Leon's expectations: "Haven't you seen this thing during the Great Expedition?"

"I've seen the Ork's Furry King Kong, the Ork's Super Heavy Boss, and I've even fought those behemoths." Armidale shook his head, "But I've never seen a fully modified armed satellite this large... and this armed satellite can even navigate the warp! How long did it take them to develop something this large?"

Li Ang probably understood.

As one of the most powerful creations of the Orcs, the Battle Moon has always been a hot topic among players who liked greenskins before the crossover. But in fact, this thing didn't appear that many times.

Orcs must constantly evolve in battle and tap into the scientific knowledge hidden within their own genes in order to build more reasonable and massive creations based on simple thinking.

During the Great Crusade, the earth-shaking Battle of Ullanor broke the backbone of the entire Orc race, so that for a long time no Orc race was able to wreak havoc on several star regions.

Of course, humans certainly didn't feel good either, mainly because of the emergence of the Warmaster Horus in this battle. Horus, who won the throne of Warmaster through this battle, also broke the backbone of humanity decades later.

The broken-backed human race gradually evolved into the decadent empire of today. The aliens that were once repeatedly swept and eliminated during the Great Crusade now have the fertile ground for growth and development again due to the vast territory and inefficient communication of the empire.

The orcs, who had originally lost the ability to create battle moons, now held their battle moons in everyone's faces, and now the humans seemed unable to do anything except take the beating.

Leon was still pondering the current situation, but as the hatch of the bridge opened, the Astartes who had been ordered to stay in the cabin when the ship was moving at full speed rushed in.

They tried to figure out what was going on, but the sight of the battle moon silenced them all.

"Father Leon, we were heading towards the Solar Star Region, right?" After a moment's silence, Adjutant Ai Bo confirmed with Leon.

"Indeed."

"Although we are not in the solar system now, we should be near it?"

"Perhaps you have the talent to be a navigator, Lieutenant Aibo, but what exactly do you want to say?"

"Are you sure that the current human empire is dominating the galaxy as you said before?"

Adjutant Aibo pressed his face against the porthole, staring intently at the battle moon outside. "I've never heard of an empire that dominated the galaxy being blocked at its doorstep by the Orks with their piles of garbage!"

Li Ang shrugged: "You're right, but this is the Empire."

It wasn't necessarily a nation that dominated the galaxy; it could be a bloated corpse. An empire could crush most of its opponents with its sheer size, but it couldn't stop those enemies from feasting on its rotten flesh before being crushed to death.

"This is a completely different era from the Great Crusade. Each of us must learn to adapt to this era."

Leon briefly summarized his thoughts and then gave the order: "Stay away from the orcs' battle moon. We will hide on the back of the planet that the battle moon orbits."

This cobbled-together ship did not have any onboard weapons, and Leon was not stupid enough to engage in a head-on confrontation with an orc army with a battle moon.

Due to the ship's extremely small size, the careless orcs apparently did not notice that a small boat was fleeing from the warp rift they had just passed through, heading away from the battle moon.

The orcs, already caught up in a war frenzy, shouted "waaagh!", rode on the hollowed-out boulders, and smashed towards the planets like meteors.

This crude and rough landing method will obviously kill a lot of greenskins, but they obviously don't care about this as they activate the gravity weapons on the battle moon at the same time as landing.

Leon, Amidel and the others stood on the bridge, watching the battle moon pull the surface of the planet with its gravity. Countless rocks and underground mineral veins were siphoned in by the battle moon, forming a link composed of countless gravel between the surface of the planet and the battle moon.

As Leon and his team entered the far side of the planet, the battle moon, which was draining the planet's resources, disappeared before everyone's eyes. However, the planet's turbulent surface still reminded them of the disaster it was suffering. The occasional mushroom clouds also reminded them that there were still people resisting on the ground.

"Is it the Imperial Army?" Sergeant Arlo asked. "Should we rescue them?"

"Judging from the explosive yield, it was indeed a standard Imperial nuclear warhead... We must rescue it, but not now."

Leon searched the star map on the Thinker. The Mechanicus's ships had relatively detailed records of star maps, but the star map on the Thinker from M41 did not record the planet in front of him. This was equivalent to implicitly declaring that the planet would be destroyed in this battle.

Of course he had to find out which planet was attacked by the orcs, but this question was not worth the risk to find out now.

Li Ang would not use the little capital he had on hand to do a business that was sure to lose money.

In fact, he had originally planned to arrive on Terra before the Beast War began and wait for an opportunity to act, but the current Battle Moon clearly meant that the Beast War had already begun.

In this case, he must make plans more carefully.

They floated in orbit for three days until the Battle Moon swaggered away from the planet it had drained dry. After confirming that there were no other active ships in orbit, Leon gave the order to enter the planet.

The ship plunged into the planet's atmosphere, which was gradually being stripped away, and finally hovered at an altitude of ten thousand meters.

The orcs on the ground had cobbled together a crude anti-aircraft weapon in just three days, and Leon didn't dare to let his only ship descend too much.

After agreeing with Adjutant Aibo and the others on the remaining ship to send a signal for the ship to pick him up, he led a small team to land lightly from orbit to the surface.

After Amidel used his sword to kill several greenskins who were cooking mushroom soup at their landing site, Leon gave the mission objectives to the ten-man team led by him, Amidel and Instructor Arlo.

"Find any surviving Imperial personnel, approach them as rescuers, and extract information from them about the current state of the war."

He looked seriously at the ten warriors in yellow power armor before him and emphasized once again:

"Remember your current identities. Each of us is now a Royal Guard stationed on Terra, a glorious descendant of the Seventh Legion, a conqueror of the Iron Warriors, and the Empire's strongest spear—"

"We are the Imperial Fists!"

Chapter 45 Are You the Imperial Fist?

The Space Marines in yellow power armor advanced cautiously across the still turbulent land. The greenskins' gravity weapons had so severely damaged the planet's topography that the terrain was now completely irregular.

The overflowing lava and ruins everywhere hindered their progress. Leon led the team to search for several hours but only advanced about 70 or 80 kilometers, and did not see any surviving imperial troops.

This progress is like looking for a needle in a haystack for the entire planet.

"I feel like we're not going to gain anything on this planet at this rate."

Sergeant Arlo sighed, "Perhaps we have arrived too late, and any remaining Imperial forces on this planet have already been wiped out?"

Without even turning his head, Leon replied, "Don't be impatient. The thing that the sons of Dorne lack the most is probably patience."

Sergeant Arlo and the others looked at each other, and an awkward atmosphere spread among these soldiers who were forced to wear yellow power armor. But Leon ignored it. He lay behind a rock and carefully observed the greenskins in the distance.

"Besides, we haven't gained nothing, you see."

Following Leon's instructions, Amidel and Arlo saw a crashed strike cruiser in the distance.

Although many greenskinned men were surrounding the cruiser, and the paint on the wreckage was no longer recognizable, its presence meant that at least Space Marines had participated in the battle.

Leon waited for Amidel and Arlo to figure it out on their own, but he didn't expect to be greeted with strange looks from them.

Leon was slightly stunned, then he remembered that during the Great Crusade, battle barges and strike cruisers, which were specially deployed for the Astartes' fast strike fleet, were not in service.

Compared to conventional warships, these fast strike ships are more like a helpless substitute after the Codex Astartes requires Astartes Chapters not to have warships dedicated to naval warfare - although some chapters may have formal cruisers or battleships for special reasons, this is the case in most cases.

He explained to them the type of ships used by today's Space Marines, but in return, Armidale and Arlo didn't understand.

"Why? We are physically strong enough to reload macrocannon shells faster than mortals or servitors. If there were a model specifically for Astartes, two more macrocannons should have been added to increase firepower. Why were the number of macrocannons reduced?"

"If you can fire a few more shots, it won't just be the aliens who can't sleep, but also the High Lords of the Terran Council."

Amidel and Arlo looked at each other in bewilderment. From Leon's answer, they sensed a little of the awkward situation that Astartes was in within the empire.

But now is not the time to worry about this. Since he already knows that there must be Astartes on this planet, Leon plans to start arranging tactics based on this.

"The Astartes are very strong. Even if the geological activity caught them off guard at the beginning, it's impossible for them to be wiped out by the greenskins in just three days."

Li Ang explained his thoughts to everyone: "But staying on this planet is just sitting there waiting for death. If they still want to contact the outside world, they must obtain the communication equipment on the ship."

"So we're going to attack the greenskins next to the ship and lure out the surviving Astartes who are targeting the ship?" Armidel understood. "Indeed, if there were no more enemies, these orcs would inevitably fall into infighting until a single orc leader is finally determined. But now there are only orc boys here, which means there must be survivors."

"That's right. As long as we take action, they will inevitably follow suit, seeing this as an opportunity. But remember your identities. You are now warriors of the Imperial Fists. If any surviving Astartes appear, do not reveal your identities outside of the Imperial Fists!"

Li Ang stood up and fired a shot into the air, creating a commotion that would attract everyone nearby. Then he held high the yellow company flag he had recently crafted, embroidered with a white fist, and roared like a political commissar:

"By Dorn! For the glory of you and the Lord of Terra!"

The yellow-armored warriors lined up behind him, holding the silver-white Phobos bolt rifles that Leon had upgraded. The huge bombs accurately knocked down the green-skinned guys holding long-range weapons from the wreckage of the ship.

Silver Rathalos materials could originally be used to craft bows and crossbows in Monster Hunter. However, unlike melee weapons, which remained powerful in Warhammer, ordinary bows were not popular here, and Leon had not yet found a way to make crossbows more suitable for Warhammer.

However, after mastering the forging technology, Leon temporarily integrated the materials of the Silver Rathalos into the grenade rifles, which he thought were "no different from crossbows because they just fire explosives and let them fight on their own anyway." This made the grenade rifles, which were already holy relics, even more powerful after incorporating the materials of the Silver Rathalos.

The explosive bombs made of the explosive gland fluid of the explosive dragon penetrated into the fuel tanks of those green-skinned guys as if they had eyes, causing a huge chain reaction explosion in the surrounding area.

Countless orc limbs and arms were blown away, and the raging fire burned the orcs and their spores to ashes.

But such an attack did not frighten the orcs. On the contrary, they were excited to see a fight after a long time. They raised their scrap metal in their hands and launched a counterattack against Li Ang and his men.

The yellow-armored warriors were not afraid. In order to save ammunition, after clearing out the long-range enemies, they put down their grenade launchers, raised their various weapons, and joined in close combat with the orcs.

These greenskins who fell onto the planet and almost degenerated into savage orcs due to lack of weapons were no match for Amidel at all. Although they continued to surge forward, they still could not stop Leon and his men from advancing.

But the difficulty of fighting the greenskins is never how to attack, but how to defend against the greenskins that come like a tide.

"Board this cruiser and block all entrances!"

Leon broke into the ruins of the strike cruiser and chopped down a wrench boy who was dismantling metal on the ruins with an axe. These orc boys who specialized in the greenskins' unique "waaagh-style technology" made Leon realize that the next defensive battle would not be so easy.

But facing the wave of orcs attracted by the noise of the battle in the distance, Leon still insisted on giving orders:

"Hold on for a while, let's see if any surviving Astartes arrive!"

-

"Dorn, what's that noise?"

Kurland faintly heard the battle cry of the Imperial Fists. His ears were not very sensitive after the continuous battles, so he asked the dozen or so brothers left around him for confirmation, and he received affirmative answers from all of them.

Someone was indeed shouting their battle cry, and the direction it came from was the crashed battle cruiser they were heading towards!

Apparently there were other Imperial Fists survivors who thought the same thing as them; they weren't alone!

Chapter 46: How is the battle going on Reach?

The battle cries of the other survivors stirred Kurland.

Three days had passed since the orc invasion. During these three days of fighting, they first lost their chapter leader Morhan, and then the captains of the first and third companies who joined them were also killed in the attack of the chrome beasts and orcs. He led the remaining brothers and barely wiped out all the chrome beasts, but that was all.

Kurland still remembered the dying words of Chapter Master Morhan, asking him to find out the truth, but he no longer held out hope that they could escape the planet that had become their prison.

He led the surviving Imperial Fists in searching and hiding among the greenskins all over the mountains, but did not find any other Imperial Fists.
