"No, that's because all you have to do now is survive twenty-four hours, and before the day is over, Comoros will be history."

But today, the federal officer calmly offered a third way and pointed out his basis.

A crack appeared in the distant empty space. It seemed illusory, but it was becoming more and more conspicuous.

On the other side of the rift was an endless array of battleships.

They are only one step away from the Dark City.

Chapter 199: Dark Eldar Navy Encirclement and Suppression Campaign.

When the stargate was successfully opened inside the Webway, the Dark Eldar's capital, Comoros, was engulfed in flames in an instant.

The Federation's fleet and army spread across the entire Webway, encircling the Dark City. The space there was locked by a FTL inhibitor, and its inhabitants could no longer escape.

Because the Eldar cities in these Webway are so large that they are even measured in light years, the Federation has to use Colossi to increase the effectiveness of bombing.

In order to prevent accidental harm to possible slaves of other species, the Federation used specially made genetic beam weapons.

This weapon temporarily degrades the minds of all affected creatures, reducing them to pre-sapient species, unable to use advanced equipment for resistance.

This effect is reversible for the Federation, so there is no burden to use it.

The effects of the gene beam were quite impressive, but the Dark Eldar did possess some technical expertise. Their Haemonchids were well-versed in the drastic transformation of themselves and other species, even capable of transforming Eldar into humans. Their emergency surgeries could prevent themselves or others from being reduced to their original state by the demented beam.

Thanks to the efforts of the Haemonchi, the Dark Eldar finally reacted and began to try to resist, although it might not be effective.

……

Faced with this dangerous situation, Asdubar-Victor urgently announced that all members of the Black Heart Group would be allowed to freely use all the Eldar Empire's heritage, and even psychic powers, just to buy himself time to escape.

Yes, this guy had no intention of coexisting with his "people". He just wanted to take away his most important property and escape, leaving the others as cannon fodder. Even when faced with the Federation's hypersonic suppressor, he had a way to escape.

All the Dark Eldar knew that Victor would definitely betray them, but his strategy was still very effective. Because the enemy came with ill intentions, the Dark Eldar warriors could only fight to the death and had no choice but to surrender.

Unlike the space forces that the Federation usually encounters, which are invincible in space combat and can hardly offer any effective resistance, the Dark Eldar have a fairly good naval force.

They inherited a large amount of heritage from the ancient Eldar Empire, including warships with complete specifications and related production lines. Although most of those production lines cannot be used because they are mixed with psychic technology, they still have a certain production capacity.

This allowed the Dark Eldar to piece together a fairly large fleet.

The battleships in these fleets are usually directly operated by the warriors of the Cabal, while lower-level warships are modified by the Haemoecruis, who connect the ships to the Pain Engine, and the semi-mechanical, semi-wetware processors in the Pain Engine are responsible for automatic control.

A massive Eldar fleet was ready to launch, their goal not to repel the Federation but to break through, attempting to tear through the Federation's encirclement and penetrate deeper into the webway.

The reason why Comoros can exist as a political entity is actually because it is very safe. When the entire Comoros is no longer safe, its residents will be ready to flee without any hesitation.

But they must be able to defeat the Federation's fleet and tear open the encirclement first. That is impossible because the Federation has passed the highest level of annihilation combat protocol, and they will completely disregard humanitarianism and pour all their firepower on the enemy.

……

Both sides lined up their troops, ready to fight in the dark webway.

In the center of the Webway battlefield, a shadow the size of an entire planet slowly passed through space.

That was not any battleship, but a real star dragon, Yuan Bo, the governor of the Federation and the first living star beast.

Its huge body meandered in space, its dragon scales emitting star-like brilliance, replicating the structure of artificial dragon scale armor to be able to withstand all attacks.

Its posture displayed endless majesty, and this was not just bluffing. In its slowly opening mouth, a breath of energy that could destroy the world was condensing.

Around it, the main fleet of the Helka Federation passed through the void like streams of light.

The Whispering Escorts and Lost Battlecruisers were highly maneuverable in space, their dark matter technology granting them complete anti-electronic warfare capabilities, ultra-high mobility, and extremely strong defensive capabilities. Furthermore, their weapon arrays, supplied by high-dimensional storage systems, could unleash firepower greater than the total volume of the ships.

On the flank of the battle line, a secret fleet is lurking in the darkness: the invisible torpedo ships. They are the hidden arrows of the Federation fleet, ready to give the Dark Eldar the most fatal blow when necessary.

……

And in the distant darkness, the Dark Eldar fleet has also taken position.

Torment-class cruisers are floating predators, their hulls ghostly, obscured in the darkness. They possess powerful phantom lances and armor-piercing torpedo launchers. These warships wait for their prey to fall into their trap, then strike relentlessly when the opportunity presents itself.

On the battle line farther away, Cabal-class battleships were quietly hovering. They were the flagships of various Dark Eldar Cabals, and not only had powerful firepower and defense systems, but also stored a large number of Dark Eldar warriors inside, ready to engage in boarding battles at any time.

The pirate-class escort ships roaming around were like poisonous snakes, waiting for an opportunity to bypass the federal fleet line and looking for a chance to kill it with one strike.

In the silent void, a battle is about to begin.

……

The Dark Eldar never engage their enemies head-on; their tactics are always based on surprise, torture, and disruption.

Their fleets hide in the shadows of the Webway, stealthily approaching their enemies and then launching surprise attacks.

A large number of Torment-class cruisers leaped out from the shadows, their phantom light spears tearing through the darkness and pointing directly at the Federation fleet's formation.

The scorching energy beam split the void and accurately pierced the hull of the Whisper escort ship.

A Whisper escort ship was caught off guard, its shield was instantly penetrated, and a deep crack was burned on one side of the hull.

At the same time, the pirate-class escort fleet quickly circled the flank of the federal fleet. They launched a large number of torpedoes and attacked the core area of the federal fleet densely.

The Dark Eldar's sneak attack appears to have been successful!

They accurately attacked the Federation's frontline warships, causing chaos in the encirclement.

The Dark Eldar troops began to try to quickly distance themselves, preparing to break out of the encirclement during the chaos.

However, the Federation was adept at counter-attack. At the moment when the Eldar fleet lost its flexibility due to its transformation into a retreat formation, the invisible torpedo ships hidden in the void launched a counter-attack.

These warships appeared around the Dark Eldar fleet, their Destroyer torpedoes swishing accurately at the enemy ships. Many Torment-class cruisers and even Kabal battleships were torn apart, their explosions blazing across space.

At the same time, the Helka Federation's main fleet quickly launched a counterattack. The Whispering escort ships and battlecruisers quickly re-adjusted their formation, and the light of the cracking arc ripped through the sky.

Those Dark Eldar ships that attempted to retreat were enveloped in electric light, and their hulls were broken into particles in an instant.

……

In the center of the battlefield, a terrifying energy is gathering.

Yuan Bo's dragon breath has been fully charged. It opened its huge mouth and released a torrent of flames, washing over the group of Conspiracy-class battleships.

The shields of the Cabal-class battleships trembled violently under the dragon's breath, then failed. Finally, amidst a deafening explosion, the ships enveloped by the dragon's breath were completely vaporized.

The Dark Eldar's scythe missile counterattack was meaningless. Before the missiles could get close to the dragon, they were intercepted by the living star Yuanbo's biological point defense system.

Seeing the tide of battle reversed in an instant, the Dark Eldar's command fleet began to waver. However, the most terrifying part of this war was yet to come.

……

Just as the Dark Eldar tried to reorganize their formation, the psychic monks of the Helka Federation descended on the battlefield.

They use the art of psychic leaping to appear out of thin air in the vast universe.

The eyes of these powerful psychics burned with blue-violet flames, and every gesture they made could cause the starry sky to tremble.

Their psychic powers are extremely powerful but completely controlled, so they never have to worry about blowing themselves up.

The Stormcast Eternals created by Sigmar himself, and psychic entities from other realms, such as the mechanical dwarves of the Metal Realm and the elemental incarnations of the Fire Realm, also took shape under the guidance of the psychic monks.

These psychic entities, like gods descending from heaven, wielded divinely blessed weapons and charged directly at the Dark Eldar flagship. They successfully dissuaded the Eldar from attempting a boarding battle, for they were no Grey Knights.

……

The Dark Eldar fleet began to crumble under heavy losses, and the Kabal scrambled to flee the battlefield, not even hesitating to attack their own kind to buy themselves time.

As the saying goes, when in danger you don't need to run the fastest, you just need to run faster than your friends. The Dark Eldar deeply agree with this.

But under the power of the Federation's hyperspace inhibitors, these Dark Eldar had no way to escape.

They only have one place to go, the Eldar afterlife: the Six Rings of Slaanesh.

……

The battle lasted a full twenty-four standard interstellar periods, as the Breaker of Chains estimated.

The Helka Federation's fleet ultimately crushed the entire Dark Eldar naval force. Not a single ship managed to break through, and the entire Comorian fleet was completely reduced to dust in the universe.

Since the Federation Navy was allowed to use all the super-destructive weapons, these Dark Eldar ships were not even able to take any prisoners. It was a complete and literal annihilation.

The survivors of the Dark Eldar were trapped in the core area of Comoros and had lost all escape routes.

The Helka Federation's fleet comfortably controlled the air superiority and could deal with these slave traders at will.

The nightmare of the Dark Eldar has just begun.

Chapter 200 The Fall of Comoros.

Under the cover of the fleet, the federal army marched through the vast but chaotic and crowded streets of Comoros with great fanfare.

Wherever they went, every Dark Eldar who had lost the ability to think was captured and awaited the final judgment of the people of the community.

The few witches, banshees and nightmare warriors who still had enough thinking ability still tried to resist, but the federal army didn't even think of opening their eyes to look at them.

These remnants of the Dark Eldar were quickly eliminated by super weapons that could directly wipe out an entire city block, such as the vacuum implosion bomb newly developed by scientists on the planet Mo.

This process inevitably injured a large number of Dark Eldar civilians, but to be honest, the number of casualties was actually relatively small.

Those Dark Eldar nobles who still had some sense of reasoning attempted to flee, but a threat from the sky awaited them. The Nano-Grey Goo fleet unleashed a cloud of nano-disintegration, like an all-consuming grey tide, reducing them and their luxurious palaces to dust. They had no escape but to confess their crimes and face the consequences.

Along the way, the Confederacy often encountered victims of the Dark Eldar's abominations, such as the twisted flesh abominations. Those with a chance of recovery were transferred to genetic clinics for treatment, while those who could not were given a swift and peaceful end.

……

Soon after, the Federation had basically completed its suppression of the entire Comoros. Its twisted spires and streets were filled with Federation-made reality stabilization systems and automated bases.

All Dark Eldar structures were being rapidly demolished, and every possible remnant of Dark Eldar culture was being cleared away. This was a civilization-wide purge, a race whose existence was based on sin being completely erased from the history of the universe.

Within the gloomy palaces of slave owners, the federal governors were reviewing the criminal records of this dark city and deliberating on sentencing. Every page of these documents contained unimaginable crimes. Consequently, each judge was enraged by the files before them, and they all proposed the death penalty.

This species, called the Dark Eldar, has become a creature that must ensure its own survival by damaging the quality of life of other sentient races. Allowing these creatures to survive is itself a disrespect to other races in the universe.

They are a species of Daemons who failed to become Daemons, Chosen of Slaanesh who do not believe in Slaanesh. We rarely consider anything to be beyond redemption, but the Dark Eldar are one of those species, more degraded than even some Chaos Space Marines.

……

The Confederacy once occupied an Iron Warriors world. The Fallen Space Marines rescued the inhabitants of that world from a Dark Eldar attack, and then, because the world had been their recruiting world, enslaved the inhabitants. This was a bad outcome, but it was better than being plundered by the Dark Eldar.

The Eldar's methods of "processing" captives and slaves are incredibly varied, exceeding the imagination of even the most insane adherents of the Imperial Church. Cruelly tortured slaves are a necessity for the Commorrans, like grain, medicine, and artificial intelligence systems.

They directly absorb the life force and pain of their slaves to prolong their own survival, and can even resurrect after death. If a Dark Eldar dies within a day, the Haemonculi who have signed a "medical insurance" with them will collect their remains. Then, through a strange surgery, they transform the slave's pain into life force, injecting it into the deceased remains, and ultimately resurrect the Dark Eldar. This method can even allow a hand to grow back onto the entire body.

This physiological need further shaped the twisted culture of the Dark Eldar, who created a large number of humanitarian tragedies to satisfy their "aesthetic needs."

Some of the more advanced methods involve inflicting physical pain, such as leaving only the brain, vital nervous system, and a few limbs, but still keeping the specimen alive. Those captives who have undergone "artistic" transformations are fixed to huge metal devices, their skin peeled away, and their nervous systems carefully adjusted to ensure that they can continuously produce screams of pain. The Dark Eldar need these screams to satisfy their need for pain, just as humans need to breathe.

The more sophisticated seek "spiritual satisfaction." A Dark Eldar cabal leader proudly recorded his love story in his private records.

He orchestrated the tragic deaths of all the relatives, friends, and acquaintances of the Dark Eldar he was pursuing, and then, at the scene of the tragedy, confessed everything to the person he was pursuing. He had destroyed their family, so that they could only focus their emotions on him. This was the "love" of the Dark Eldar. Did the other party feel it?

What's even more incredible is that the person he's pursuing feels it, and they embrace each other warmly. The conspiracy leader succeeds in pursuing love, and the two of them achieve a great harmony of life amidst the corpses everywhere.

"Why is it necessary to review these things?"

One of the judges couldn't bear to watch any longer and angrily slammed the files on the table, "Hand all of them over to the Synaptic Condensation Machine."

……

Eventually, the army reached the heart of Commorragh, the tallest spire of the Dark Eldar and palace of their greatest leader: the living Black Muse Asdurbar Vect.

The Helka Federation originally thought that they would encounter a final fierce resistance, but when they rushed into the spire, they only saw Victor's cold body lying in front of the subspace portal.

With a look of despair on his face, an Eldar-style longsword pierced his chest, its psychic glow still lingering. A powerful force of death enveloped the entire room, and even the most skilled Haemonchi masters could not save him.

The psychic analysts of the Helka Federation smelled a familiar scent at the scene and they roughly knew who did it.

"Is it an internal conflict?"

A squid warrior who lacked sensitivity to psychic energy asked.

"No, it was done by the apostle of the newborn god of the Eldar."

A dragon psychic pointed out the real murderer.

"In the entire universe, besides Him, only the Emperor of Mankind, the God of Corruption, and Usirion, Lord of the Tomb, possess such a powerful psychic influence in the realm of death, and none of them had any need to come here."

"At least I can be sure that this is not my father's power."

Chagatai Khan, who participated in the attack on Comoros and the operation to rescue human slaves as an "ordinary volunteer", denied the possibility of his expensive old father taking action.
