Citizens of Helka can share their scientific insights to support the struggle of the Ancients. Although it may not necessarily have a very good effect, it is worth a try.

Gu Shengka deeply agreed with the Federation's approach and made his own contribution.

……

Ka did not intend to abandon his colleagues and his people who were being chased by the undead and escape from this time and space alone.

But he is also prepared to use the Federation's hand to do something to change the future and save the galaxy.

So he proposed that we become his kind.

Ka told the scientists of the Helka Federation that the Old Ones were not a single race, but an alliance of psionic species that followed the same principles.

Their appearances were different. The first Old Ones were some very old and virtuous amphibian psychic species. But later, many other powerful psychic races joined the First Ones and shared the same title.

They are united by a shared belief in a philosophy called the Mantle. All Old Ones are dedicated to passing on the Mantle, guiding the universe, life, and psychic forces towards harmony, and bringing positive influence to all sentient beings.

"You have demonstrated remarkable kindness and wisdom,"

Ka said to the Helka Federation, "You already understand the laws of the universe and fully grasp the dualistic dialectic of matter and spirit. Therefore, you are now qualified to become one of the Ancient Saints. I invite you to join us and inherit this mantle."

……

Ka's proposal made the scientists of the Helka Federation realize that this was a historic moment.

At the beginning of their civilization, they drew nourishment from the legacy left by the ancient saints, those arks of creation. It can be said that they are the descendants of the ancient saints who have never met.

Now, the nominal successor has been recognized by the original master. One of these original creators of the universe is reaching out to the Federation, inviting them to become one of the ancient saints.

The people of Helka have always pursued knowledge, exploring the mysteries of reality and the psychic dimension, and using these mysteries to benefit their civilization.

The knowledge of the oldest psychic civilization in the universe was right before their eyes, so the military governors accepted the proposal.

……

Having received the affirmation, Ka began to share his psychic wisdom with the Federation and imparted the philosophy of the mantle to every member present.

As this knowledge flowed into the Federation's mind network, all members of the expeditionary force felt an unprecedented enlightenment: their psychic skills were greatly sublimated in an instant.

If they wanted, they could now unleash a Zellostorm with a flick of their hand. Perhaps they could even try to blow up the moon in a fit of rage.

The entire Federation's expeditionary force had experienced the "Great Awakening" that the Emperor of Mankind had once painstakingly attempted but could not achieve. This was the awakening of all members of the species to their full psychic potential, becoming a psychic race no longer subject to the influence of the Warp.

Moreover, the Federation not only obtained the knowledge system that once belonged to the ancient saints, but also the corresponding important authority.

Although these permissions have mostly lost their function in the chaotic 40k era, they can still bring many beneficial effects.

The age of transcendence has arrived now.

……

Ka had a trick up his sleeve. After learning that he was most likely dead in the future, he gifted the Federation with a psychic ritual.

That was the technique used to gather his soul and revive the card itself. If it had not been completely annihilated, and the Federation was conscientious enough, then this technology would be enough to ensure that this ancient saint had the possibility of regaining consciousness in the future.

The Federation solemnly accepted the other party's gift and promised to use it in accordance with the correct concept.

Afterwards, Helka's expeditionary force said goodbye to the familiar psychic stranger and prepared to fly out of the astral rift.

These ancient saints from the future, carrying this inheritance, traveled through the cracks of time and space and returned to their own era.

As the fierce Zero Storm rises, the astral rift above Caliban closes again, and the traveling adventurers emerge in the normal starry sky and reunite with their hometown.

Chapter 196 is no longer filled with anger.

After enduring countless hardships, the Federation's expeditionary force finally broke through the Astral Plane with the Ouroboros and closed the Astral Rift. At this moment, all enemy obstructions had been completely thwarted, and the Federation had achieved complete victory in this expedition.

The three artifacts, along with their methods of use, now fell completely into the hands of the Star Sea Community. Tuchucha, Plague Heart, and Ouroboros were now tamed and subservient to the Old Ones, their returning "father."

The three artifacts, fully integrated, can open up new Webway structures in higher dimensions, or transform existing ones. Once their functions are fully mastered, the Federation's ability to build hyperspace routes will be exponentially improved, and the old Webway system will no longer be a barrier to Federation action.

The Federation's fleet underwent a simple repair, and then quickly carried out infrastructure projects in the newly occupied areas. After ensuring the stability of the relevant areas, it returned home with all its strength and transported the three artifacts back to the main planet of Helka for experiments.

This expedition has officially come to an end. After a short correction period, the Star Ocean Community will initiate a calamity-designated vote to completely eliminate Comoros and liberate all slaves.

The time to clean up the mess is almost here. We can now openly declare that we will whip these unworthy descendants of the Eldar into a frenzy. They are no longer qualified to rely on their seniority to bully the Federation.

However, there is still a chance for some leisure activities. Because the impact of the Plague War is quite severe, the Federation still needs some time to rest. Furthermore, those important relics and related scientific and technological intelligence must also be properly handled.

……

The first major event occurred in the heavenly realm.

It is rumored that after the expedition, Sigmar, the Lord of Heaven and God of Thunder, locked himself in the Holy Foundry and began to create a great creation.

To this end, Sigmar frequently asked the federal governors to provide him with more resources, especially Zelo.

Although the Federation has mastered the technology to actively synthesize Zelochen, it is still close to being driven into deficit by Sigma.

Fortunately, his attempt was finally successful, and he announced his results with great fanfare.

……

Chagatai Khan, who used the pseudonym Anda and had been keeping free under certain surveillance for some time, traveled around to witness the customs and daily life of the Federation. Now, guided by a mysterious feeling, he came to the heavenly realm to visit the palace of the God-King Sigmar.

The various experiences he had gone through during this time had made him somewhat less loyal. Even the Primarch, whose hatred of non-human intelligent species had been etched deep within his genes by the Emperor, had to admit that the Federation seemed to be a better option for humanity.

He still remembered the conversation he had with Tessexin, the former chief scientific officer of the Federation.

The reason he finally insisted on the necessity of the empire was that the empire was composed of pure humans and was a regime that belonged to the concept of humanity.

After hearing this, Tessexin looked at him with an expression that seemed to be unable to suppress a smile: "Is that all? In the space age, relying on a priori aesthetic viewpoints as the source of legitimacy for one's own organization? Truly... the saintliness remains unchanged."

So, the former senior scientific researcher used his social credit points to submit an experimental application. He required all citizens of the capital who volunteered to transform themselves into standard human appearance and genome within one day.

……

On that day, Tesshin, transformed into a young human male scholar with elegant temperament and wearing glasses, took Chagatai Khan and strolled through the streets full of "pure-blooded humans".

He finally asked the White Scars' Primarch: "How do you feel now? Are we, because of our appearance at this moment, something you should save, not destroy?"

Chagatai Khan said nothing. After returning to his residence, he drank several tons of various federal alcoholic beverages, and then lived a dissolute life, becoming an ordinary traveler who no longer cared about politics.

A sage is not entangled in material things, but can move with the times. In a time of great change, Chagatai Khan would not risk his life to go against the tide in order to restore the past. After all, he was already hundreds of times older and more capable of following his heart's desires without breaking the rules.

No longer considering those complicated issues, now, this Primarch who has the "closest relationship" with the Federation, after obtaining the free entry permit to the Heaven Realm, drove his space motorcycle equipped with a dark matter engine, rushed across the Bridge of Heaven in sparks and lightning, and entered the golden city built by Sigmar himself.

……

The powerful psychic power of the heavenly realm is not something that ordinary people can withstand.

Usually only high-level psychic practitioners and the special psychic species created by Sigmar himself: the Stormcast Eternals, can settle in this upper dimension for a long time.

But Chagatai Khan was obviously not an "ordinary person", or he might not even be called a human being, so the power of the wind from heaven would not have a negative impact on him.

Ignoring the angry looks from the Storm and Stormcast Eternals, Jaghatai rode his motorcycle through the city. Following his intuition, he arrived at a secluded public rest area.

Here he saw a very tall Thunder-cast Eternal Soldier, who was concentrating on reading a literary book, which was a collection of poems by famous writers of the Federation throughout the ages.

"you……"

Chagatai looked at the thunder-cast divine weapon with a complicated expression.

The latter raised his head, his face, with the resoluteness of a fighter, was strangely familiar to the Primarch, but his calm and comfortable demeanor made the White Scar Lord unrecognizable.

Angron, who lost his memory after being purified by Sigmar and could not recognize his gene-brother Jaghatai, began a conversation with the White Scars Primarch.

……

Angron, the Stormcast Eternal, was quite polite. He asked in a clear and logical manner who this visitor, who made him feel a sense of familiarity, was and whether he needed any help.

Chagatai said with a complicated expression that he was just a passer-by, a tourist.

Angron warmly welcomed Chagatai and was very interested in his travel experiences. He invited Chagatai to rest with him, make wine and tea, and tell him his stories.

When he finally sat down peacefully with his brother again, Chagatai felt an inexplicable sense of security.

The anger, hatred and sadness that surged in his heart when he first met Angron were now all wiped out by the other party's psychic power.

Or, more likely, they are brought there by peace and relief. Who can say for sure whether this comes from the heart or is caused by the influence of magic power?

……

Chagatai Khan sat in this quiet place with a complex and calm mood, and began to experience the feeling of brothers meeting again after thousands of years.

Everything seemed like a lifetime ago. Chagatai listened to his brother's words, and he never mentioned a word about the past. It could be said that he had forgotten everything.

Angron describes his troubles and reflections on life as a Stormcast Eternal. As Stormcast Eternals, they are all reincarnations of the souls of powerful warriors recruited by Sigmar, but Angron himself is not a warrior.

He hated violence, did not want to see bloodshed, and was unwilling to improve the art of combat. His fellow Stormcast Eternals were fully tolerant of his eccentricity, but Angron still felt that he had let them down.

So he began to think about how to benefit others in other ways, and finally discovered his incredible psychic power, which could make anyone who was troubled by the pain of war feel relieved and healed.

Because Angron could share some of their pain and anxiety, and let them know that they were not fighting alone.

The Lord of Men had hoped that his offspring would be the pacifiers of wrath, so perhaps this man named Angron, whose name means one filled with wrath, had lost everything and only today became his true self again.

Suddenly the golden shackles were opened and the jade lock was broken.

……

"You didn't tell him about our relationship?"

Later, when faced with the questioning of Fulgrim's clone, Chagatai acted quite indifferent.

"There's no point in telling you. The past is like smoke. There's no need to worry about all this today."

Chagatai started his powerbike.

He was going to attend the memorial ceremony on the planet of Lazarus. The focus was not on the ceremony but on the banquet, and he never missed the opportunity to drink.

Chapter 197: Cleaning up the house.

While Sigmar was creating the Stormcast Eternals, the Helka Federation began preparing for the resurrection of the ancient saint "Ka".

Later intelligence gathering revealed that the Ancient Saint Kar survived until the end of the Eldar Empire, but was shattered by the psychic screams of Slaanesh.

This caused it to lose consciousness and transform into a creature called an umbra.

The Umbra is a special alien species that looks like a smooth black sphere and lives in the void.

They are often observed to be attracted to areas that resonate with the Warp, such as the hulls of spacecraft or Warp engines, or suspected Eldar Webway entrances.

They can manipulate and control shadows to form horrific hooks, blades, teeth, and other nightmarish limbs.

The Federation found many Umbrals, fragments of Ka's unconscious body, wandering the universe, and gathered them together using psionic power.

The Helka Confederation then began attempting to restore the Umbra back to its true form. Conventional soul-repairing techniques were ineffective against the Umbra, as it was too severely broken. However, the Confederation had another solution.

Through the "seed of mind" of consciousness left by the ancient saints, a fragment of the shadow monster can be "grown back" to complete consciousness.

Although the new consciousness created in this way will be weaker, it can at least recover.

……

In the scientific research base of the Helka Federation, a large number of black spheres are suspended.

They were stabilized by the Federation's psychic shackles and no longer aggressive. These black balls floated silently in the zero-gravity environment, their smooth surfaces absorbing the light in the laboratory.

These spheres, or "Umbras," the remains of the ancient Ka, are now being carefully gathered by Federation scientists for an unprecedented resurrection ritual.

"let's start."

The head researcher whispered, his voice echoing throughout the facility through the PA system.

The core of the psychic ritual is to plant the "mind demon seed".

This psychic matrix encapsulates the backup consciousness left by the ancient saints and carries the original wisdom.

The psychic grandmaster Ruoken suspended the personality seed of the ancient saint card in his palm, and the surrounding psychic engineers stimulated their mental power together to construct a resonance field that spread like ripples on the water.

Then they began to slowly integrate the encapsulated backup consciousness into the Umbra. The Umbra, which was the first experimental material, trembled slightly, and unstable ripples began to appear on its smooth surface. Its psychic waveform gradually evolved from the original violent and instinctive form to a stable form.

This is effective, however, the restoration of just one fragment of consciousness is far from enough. Federation scientists must continue to awaken more fragments of the Umbra, allowing them to merge and reshape in order for "Ka" to truly return.

……

The resurgence took several days. Each time a new Umbra was affected by the Mind Seed, these black void creatures would converge into one larger entity.

In the shadows infected by the psychic energy they emitted, more details gradually emerged: everything that the last ancient saints had experienced in those past eras appeared in the swaying shadows like some kind of shadow play.
