Then these Kerbal astronauts found themselves inexplicably on our spacecraft.
It was such an amazing experience. After federal scientists pointed out that the virtual world was their permanent home, they were depressed for a short time and then decided to join our adventure.
They desperately hope that the Federation will take them back to their homeland so that they can borrow alien technology to create even more bizarre spaceships and continue their own dangerous journey of space exploration.
They looked really crazy, but all the scientific researchers in the Federation smiled knowingly at this.
The more of this kind of madness there is in the universe, the less madness there will be of killing and being killed, enslaving and being enslaved, and using the blood of minors to build war machines.
This is the heart of a child.

Chapter 192 Astral Event: Going against the current.
Afterwards, the Federation discovered new rifts in the astral rift plane, and witnessed many strange events while exploring them.
The events surrounding this rift all occurred in a time before the Federation even existed. Yet, the impact of the Astral Rift transcends eons, the past reappearing in the present. Everything the Federation witnesses and touches within the rift is both history and reality.
The Helka Federation's fleet, now riding the tide of time, witnessed the universe as it existed before its own birth. Sometimes they were mere spectators, sometimes they were forced to become unexpected participants.
Thus, a legend began to spread in the universe about a group of mysterious benefactors who would appear at any time and bring about changes at critical moments. People had heard their stories before they came to this universe.
In other words, through causal anchoring, the Federation does not worry about the grandmother paradox and can act freely.
……
When the Federation entered a new astral rift for observation, they first encountered a strange starship civilization, a civilization that called itself Diasporex, or the Diaspora.
This is a nomadic democratic federation composed of humans and aliens. They live on huge and ancient starships and use solar energy collection arrays set up between stars to power their spacecraft engines.
The aliens that coexist with humans are large, eyeless quadrupedal creatures that enhance themselves with various prosthetics.
Unfortunately, they were being pursued relentlessly by the former Imperial fleet, with two entire Legions Astartes thrown into the fray. They were determined to force this peaceful human civilization to abandon its alien allies, with whom they had lived in peace for years, and join the Empire's highly oppressive order.
Diasporex's energy technology is inadequate, and its spacecraft are not semi-permanent, so it must obtain energy from stars. However, the Empire has blocked the star supply stations in this area.
According to the standard historical route, they would take a desperate attempt to retake the energy supply station, but would eventually be wiped out by the well-prepared Empire.
But now, the Federation generously supports the residents of these starships, giving them a fourth-level singularity and related operating instructions.
Although they cannot reverse-engineer the technological principles of this building and make it themselves, the production capacity of this one building alone is enough for them to embark on the journey of sailing into the void.
These interstellar wanderers abandoned the Imperial-occupied supply station and flew into deep space. Their commander's last words to the Federation diplomat were only one: "We want to be left alone."
Then I hope we will never meet again. It is better to look at each other from afar than to support each other. The passionate ideal of the human emperor almost burned the entire human race to death.
……
Humans are not the only victims of the Human Empire. The Federation also observed a strange alien species, the Adanians, in the rift, and through exploring the rift, learned about the origins of this species.
Initially, this non-aggressive species was deemed harmless and allowed to live under Imperial protection. Unfortunately, when some Imperial scientists experimented with the Adanias, they discovered that a serum made from their genes had miraculous restorative effects on humans, even reversing aging.
This miraculous elixir, crafted from Ardanian blood, quickly became a favorite among the Empire's aristocracy. However, its production was low, as all other attempts to replicate it had failed, forcing it to be harvested from the Ardanians themselves. The Ardanians were soon driven to the brink of extinction by the Empire's relentless exploitation.
To protect the species' biodiversity and maintain its survival as an intelligent race, the Federation intervened. Supported by Federation technology, the Adanias launched a successful rebellion, allowing the last remnants of their people to escape the Empire's occupation of their homeland.
After a series of twists and turns, they arrived at an uninhabitable planet that the Empire had failed to develop and settled there. They lived comfortably on this world for many years, and then suddenly disappeared from the Federation's observation.
Perhaps they became extinct, or perhaps they migrated to other planets. In any case, the Adanias and all their artifacts vanished. That refuge, Lazarus, fell silent.
It wasn't until many centuries later that a spacecraft from another civilization landed there and discovered a strange spring with restorative powers, influenced by chemicals produced by the decomposing remains of the Adani people buried there.
The raw materials for the Fountain of Youth Ascension Project.
……
In the dimensional rift that spans time, the Federation swims upstream.
Their lost personnel began to return, and their experience grew with each voyage. Most of the time, the Federation's personnel acted as indifferent spectators of past history, but sometimes, they would become unexpected participants in scenes that they could no longer bear.
The Federation tried to establish normal diplomatic relations with the Oramic Jingyuan Federation, but was rejected and attacked by the other side. These orthodox people in the glorious era of mankind believed that aliens did not have the right to have equal diplomatic relations with humans.
It seemed that the diplomatic rhetoric of human civilization was truly consistent. So the Federation kindly copied all of their important data and had the virus program delete the originals.
Most of the relevant technical information is of little value, but the optimized flamethrower troops obtained from the data here are indeed useful.
In the territory of Interrex, the Federation traded technology to shield these humans who maintained their normal thoughts from corrupted psychic energy, ensuring they would not be contaminated in the process of enlightening their people to the truth of Chaos. Federation diplomats also kindly reminded them to be wary of the power of the Human Empire, but unfortunately, they simply ignored them.
Through this astral rift, observers from the Oramic Jingyuan Federation, Interrex, the Erenias Federation, and Helka witnessed countless civilizations destroyed by the Empire's expansion. However, most of them did not deserve sympathy. They were no match for the Empire, and in some ways even more barbaric and ignorant.
The past of human civilization disappointed the researchers of the Federation. Those barbarian countries with high technology were not much better than the human empire.
Except for a few civilizations like Interrex, the rest do not have the strength of the Empire, but have the same or even worse moral principles as the Empire.
So the patience of the federal scientists in observing this section was exhausted at this moment. They felt that looking at these things polluted their eyes and also dirty their hearts.
They had tried to understand the past, to change it, but in the end, they grew tired of it. The Observers shut down their cameras, ready to put this history behind them, quickly moving past the abstractions of the early Empire, the Ancients, and the Eldar.
……
But there's one last thing to do.
"This is legitimately playing with fire."
The Federation's Flame Force kicked away the lunatic with a charred appearance and an even darker heart, and took away his experimental product, the "Plasma Core".
This dark technological overlord who invented the robot soldiers powered by infant blood has now become a miserable and mature person.
So the federal forces withdrew their detection vision with satisfaction and continued to go deeper into the astral rift to find a way home.

Chapter 193 Astral Events: Author of the Apocrypha.
The Helka Federation's fleet continued to penetrate deeper into the star realm. The further they advanced, the more unfamiliar the laws of reality became. The difference between what they experienced and the universe they knew could no longer be measured by time and space.
Instead, it is evaluated in units of possibility.
These worlds are easier to explore, and we could even start to exert influence on a large scale, with greater rewards.
……
Time flows to the end, and the final reckoning of everything is about to come, but the wheel of fate will eventually be stuck by the power that manipulates the world, because everything is as the extraordinary wishes.
The skies of Macragge were blanketed in a twisted radiance, the Ruinstorm's influence dancing across space and time. The Ultramarines' Dark Realm, once a prison of iron, held five hundred worlds, now free and powerful, the harbinger of Chaos' rise.
The fallen Ultramarines, followers of the Dark Gods, used some terrifying power to perform a resurrection ritual before Guilliman's corpse. The Ruinous Power had spoken, and every Ultramarines could sense that their father would return.
But there are still those who hold on to hope, ready to prevent the end of the world from coming.
The noble Fourteenth Primarch Mortarion, Legion Master of the Death Guard and one of the Imperium's greatest living heroes, came to attack Macragge.
……
The Lord of Death led the Death Guard gene-children and other Space Marines and Astra Militarum Legions from all over the Empire to stop the Ultramarines in the Ruinstorm from resurrecting their father, Roboute Guilliman, the chief of treason and co-chosen of the Dark Gods.
With the help of their enigmatic brother Omega and the mysterious help found by the Golden Words Messenger, he was able to break free from the lingering ghost of Barbarus's genetic overlord and breathe and fight in the universe again.
He had begun the Plague War, hoping to help Perturabo, his brother, buy time to deploy those strange creations. He was very distrustful of the so-called "artifacts" of the Old Ones, whose origins were unknown.
But they had no choice. The destructive storm was expanding, and the iron cage could no longer be held.
……
But he had another plan.
Mortarion personally led the charge, clearing a path through the fallen Ultramarines' realm with poison gas, hoping to accomplish a feat that would take him straight to Macragge, the heart of the Fallen Five Hundred Worlds.
This way he could inject his own divine poison weapon: an artifact made from a fragment of the soul of the Emperor of Mankind, into Guilliman's corpse.
This artifact, which embodies the concept of God's death, will completely kill the leader of the rebellion and make him unable to be resurrected.
But he was delayed, for Guilliman's Paragons emerged, Ultramarines champions transformed by the powers of Chaos into Daemon Princes, leading vast swarms of Fallen and Undefeated to block Mortarion's forces.
……
The tide of darkness rolled before him, the fallen Ultramarines formed a line of defense, and their champions, those daemonic heroes, prepared to fight.
They laughed wildly as they spread the gospel of the original truth, believing that Mortarion was too late and that the genetic father of the Ultramarines was about to rise.
The Death Guard's legions are just the last batch of pitiful creatures that will be turned into dust in the storm of destruction.
Mortarion responded to the taunt with end and death.
Countless poison gas bombs burst through the air, transforming into a deathly mist. These extraordinary corrosive agents disintegrated the corrupted Ultramarines and demonic forces from the inside out.
The demons and Chaos Space Marines roared, their bodies began to fester and disintegrate, and their souls entered the High Heavens in wailing.
The Death Guard and their auxiliary forces engaged the Daemons in a series of engagements, with terrible tenacity, hard-pressing the attacks of Daemons and Chaos Space Marines, advancing slowly but surely.
But this was just the beginning of the war.
……
Mortarion personally led the Death Shroud Legion forward, advancing under the cover of poison gas, their steps steady and determined.
They are the embodiment of war, oblivious to pain and fearless, unable to break their lines even from the most violent demons.
They continue to advance towards the heart of Macragge, their target being the Arch-Treasoner himself.
The situation deteriorated, forcing the heroes to go and stop the Primarch of the Death Guard in person.
These heroes, once the Ultramarines' greatest champions, are now Chaos incarnate. No longer mortal, they are Daemon Princes, warriors of the Dark Gods.
They relied on the abundant Warp power in the Ruinstorm to increase their recovery speed and could be resurrected once every 13 hours, so they vowed to completely crush Mortarion and the Death Guard on this battlefield.
But Mortarion awakened his true power. As the Lord of Death, his scythe could completely destroy the soul essence of demons and bring them annihilation. Therefore, he personally faced those monsters who called themselves heroes.
……
After a battle worthy of the annals of history, Mortarion drove back the Paragons and permanently destroyed one of the Four, clearing their path to Macragge.
This great achievement did not make him feel excited, he found that the damn time was not enough!
The Ruinstorm intensifies, shaking all of Macragge as reality begins to unravel. The Arch-Treasoner is awakening, and the Ruinstorm grows ever more intense.
Guilliman is opening his eyes, preparing to resume his dark work, and the ritual is gathering his soul, shattered by the Lord of Mankind.
Many Ultramarines cheered and laughed wildly, their father was about to return.
But they were to be disappointed.
……
A strange white light flashed from the damaged iron cage, piercing the storm of destruction and calming the warp storm that had been roaring for thousands of years.
The response from the Power of Destruction also became silent, and even turned negative. The Extreme Marines and the demons all felt that the blessing was moving away from them.
Furthermore, the Ultramarines began to feel that they bore the weight of defeat, even though they had not been defeated. Visions of some unknown xenos weapon shattering the Five Hundred Worlds flashed through their minds, hindering the Chaos Space Marines' normal observation of the battlefield and severely reducing their combat capabilities.
If that were all, they could still persevere, but the failure of their ultimate goal made all other efforts meaningless.
The wizards of Macragge listened in horror and amazement, but were powerless to do anything. A voice echoed through Macragge, stating the concepts of decomposition, isolation, and nothingness.
As a result, their ritual suffered a massive backfire, and all the Chaos wizards present were turned into fragments by the backlash, and Robert Guilliman also stopped breathing completely.
His soul was exiled into a deeper nothingness, but he was not the God of Plague, able to observe himself and maintain his basic self under the attack of divine disintegration weapons.
He might not wake up until the end of this parallel universe.
The Ultramarines watched as everything they had completely fell apart in the face of the superweapons of the "Ancients" found by the Empire, and watched as all their previous efforts turned into nothing.
Their laughter turned to wails, their fanaticism turned to despair.
And in Robert's Rebellion, the human empire, which had been entangled and troubled for thousands of years, ushered in a historic moment in this subversive and confusing victory.
……
All of this was, of course, done by the Federation's astral rift explorers.
As they traveled through this new astral plane, they discovered completely different rift exploration content.
This rift connects to a kind of "non-standard historical universe", which can also be called the "apocryphal universe" or "lossbelt".
In these parallel timelines, key historical nodes have undergone different changes, leading to the complete alienation of the entire galactic structure.
They thus became "what-if" universes that were very different from the "baseline world line."
Scientists from the Helka Federation call it the "Possibility Collapse Zone." Here, they witness countless possibilities in the universe, among which are countless technological legacies that they can utilize.
And the stories themselves are quite interesting.
