"Thanks?"

"You're welcome. You can thank me later when I pull it out." The glove suddenly compressed, and the gas ejected drove Wei's body to rush towards Enoch quickly.

"I think you might be disappointed, after all..."

A blue electromagnetic beam was quickly emitted from a distance and hit Wei's boxing gloves hard. The huge force almost made her fall to the ground. At this time, a slight numbness came from her hands.

"I have my guardian angel with me," Enoch chuckled and looked at the blue-haired girl who walked out of the shadows.

"Hi, sister"

Chapter 87 Is this all you have?

Seeing that Wei, who came with him, was attacked, Jace could only stand with her again temporarily and cheer up to deal with what was to come.

Seeing the blue-haired girl opposite him staring blankly at the light of the hextech gem emitted by the warhammer in his hand, Jace immediately seized the opportunity, lowered the muzzle of the gun slightly, and fired at the floor on the girl's side. He hoped to stop the opponent's attack.

The warhammer had just been raised and had not yet been aimed when a soft sigh was heard from the side. Before Jayce could react, the shield of the Hextech weapon was instantly activated, and the high-temperature fluid of the plasma cannon was dispersed by the shield. Even so, the extent of damage to the surroundings made Jayce clearly understand its power.

"You broke into my house and destroyed the room I didn't like very much. I didn't say anything, but maybe that's why you thought I was easy to talk to? So now you are going to hurt my favorite thing? Can you humiliate me a little more?"

Jayce looked at Enoch's slowly retracting prosthetic limb with a little wariness. In some ways, this thing far surpassed Piltover's latest technology.

You know, the mainstream prosthetics nowadays are generally more mechanical, and you can see the mechanical device at a glance, rather than bionics like this, which simply looks like a pair of dexterous hands.

With a light snap of his fingers, Enoch drew the attention of Wei and Jace. "Now that we have all flexed our muscles, are you in the mood for a cup of tea?"

“Damn it,” Wei complained, trying to get up and move towards Jinx. “Baobao, why are you here?”

"How interesting! I should be the one asking you this. You come here to disturb my life instead of going to your little Piltover chick to make out. How kind of you. Sis~sister~" Jinx lowered her head to tend to the electromagnetic pistol in her hand, so that her expression could not be seen. However, from the sarcastic tone of her voice, it could be seen that this young lady was not very happy.

"Don't leave me alone, I'm scared. Come find me quickly, I need you." Jinx pinched her throat and pretended to be scared. Before Wei could react, she yelled angrily, "I'm Jinx. The explosives you wanted are gone. I'll say it again."

Glancing at the sisterly love on the side, Enoch invited Jace for the third time, "Look, your partner also needs some time to deal with family issues. I think you can spare some time."

Mercury's Hammer was reloaded, and the turret-shaped hammer head was reassembled and held tightly in my hand by Jace. The congressman said nothing and stared at Enoch vigilantly.

"I guess you're rejecting by the look on your face. Got it." Nodding, Enoch turned around, hugged the angry Jinx and walked out. Before Vi could try to stop them, the red light in the passage stretched out a long halo and rushed towards Vi and Jayce in the middle.

These are all experimental mass-produced robots. Enoch's original design was supposed to be an assistant with AI capabilities, but unfortunately, the machines here seem unable to become any smarter no matter how they are optimized.

Unless there is someone nearby performing precise background operations, the robots can only move according to the basic interactive functions that have been set. So, in addition to making a few sophisticated bionic skins, Enoch used most of them as guards.

These robots seem to have been printed out of a mill. Their movements are rigid and they don’t know how to adapt. They just respond reflexively.

However, when dozens or even hundreds of robots rushed forward, it still put a huge pressure on Wei and Jayce in front of them.

These robots in particular have no fear, will not stop until their energy is exhausted, and will not stop attacking due to problems such as concussion or pain. In fact, even if the machine's limbs are disassembled, it will still attack its target.

So Vi and Jayce could only play whack-a-mole, destroying the heads one by one or trying to dismantle the chest shields to destroy the energy. Just as Jayce was about to try to use the turret mode, the tepid robots around him rushed up like crazy. If Vi hadn't pulled him back, he would have been torn to pieces by these machines.

"I remember there seemed to be electric shock devices in these things. Why not fight back? Is it fun to let these two take them all down?" Jinx stared at Vi gloomily, seeing that she was so tired that she was out of breath.

"Because I want to see how long they can hold out. I've always liked scenes like well-trained muscles breaking through cold killing machines." Enoch watched the two's counterattacks getting slower and slower with a smile, while playing with Jinx's braids.

"Do you need to have a good chat with your sister later?"

"Aren't you afraid that I'll run away? And never come back?" Jinx muttered softly, leaning against Enoch.

"I just think that you won't make me sad." Enoch gently scratched the girl's small nose, trying to look generous and indifferent.

The girl hummed happily, "I like to hear you say that."

Seeing the two men surrounded by broken metal fragments, their heavy breathing could not be concealed, and Enoch's mechanical soldiers had all been smashed to pieces.

Wei wiped the sweat off her face and shouted at Enoch who was laughing with her sister, "Is this all you can do? It's not even enough for me to warm up."

After hearing this, Enoch nodded tactfully, picked up the remote control and operated it, and a mechanical soldier of similar size came out from the original passage again.

"Do you have to ask?" Jace grumbled in a low voice, slamming the hammer heavily on the ground.

Seeing the two dismantling the robot with great enthusiasm, Enoch took out his pocket watch to calculate the time, and said to the two with a little regret: "I am glad that you two can have so much fun here, but I must say that happy time is always limited. Now, please take a nap."

The surrounding machines flipped up their arm covers, and several large nets were thrown over Wei and Jayce's heads. Seeing the two still struggling in the nets, Jinx shot another hypnotic smoke with an expressionless face.

"I was just about to talk to them." Enoch looked at the two people lying on the ground and complained to Jinx helplessly.

"Just wait until they wake up." Jinx carried Vi on her back nonchalantly, without even looking at the law enforcer who had been controlled on the other side, and walked towards her secret base.

"That's easy to say," Enoch said, looking at Jace on the ground with a headache, "I don't want to carry a sweaty congressman swinging a hammer on his back."

Enoch stupidly held up Jace while controlling the two mechanical soldiers. He apologized insincerely, "If you feel pain when you wake up... it's because you exercised too much before going to bed. It has nothing to do with me."

...............

"Can someone explain this to me?" Hillco looked at the ruined factory in front of him. Several glimmer storage tanks had exploded, and raw materials and finished products were scattered all over the floor. The metal debris on the ground around them almost made it impossible for several alchemy barons to find a place to stand.

"Some law enforcement officers smuggled in from the port, quietly rushed in and smashed your treasures. Your guards seemed to be useless." Enoch summarized what happened tonight with an indifferent look.

"What about these metal fragments? Aren't they yours?" Renee asked Enoch harshly, holding the child's body lying in the stains.

"I heard the alarm, so I sent someone to check it out. Apparently, the enemy was very strong and determined. Most of them ran away, and we only captured a few law enforcement officers alive." Enoch stared at Hilco. "Do you want to interrogate them? Or dismantle something and send it to Upper City as a warning?"

"No, kill them all. We are going to fight the upper city." Regardless of the surprised alchemist barons around him, Hilco gave his orders firmly.

"As you wish." Enoch nodded and handed the sharp knife to Finn. "You are responsible for security. May I trouble you?"

Chapter 88 Let’s Talk

Vaguely aware of the glances from others around him, Finn angrily took the knife handed to him by Enoch.

Looking around, Finn saw that the other alchemy barons lowered their heads and did not look at him. Only then did he realize the awkwardness of his situation.

If I strike with my sword now, there will basically be no chance of surrender.

After angrily executing a law enforcement officer, Finn threw the dagger in his hand at the others present, and angrily dragged all the people who were watching the fire from the other side into the water, "I'm done, now it's your turn."

After clearing out all the people, Hilco slowly turned around and left the factory. He wanted to check Enoch's equipment and make plans in advance.

"What do you want?" Enoch looked at the man in front of him with interest. Hilco still looked calm, like an old fox.

"Do you need to blow up Piltover all at once, or do you want to keep pulling each other? You have to give me a goal before I can provide you with anything."

"Watch your words." Hilco looked at the large number of artillery and rifles in the factory and was very dissatisfied. "I remind you, if we fail, guess what Piltover will do with the prisoners who blew up the Stillwater Prison?"

"This is your motivation. I hope you don't forget it. I look forward to your next preparations." Hilco's scarlet eyes flickered. "I want Piltover to surrender. What I want is the independence of Zaun."

"Whatever," Enoch shrugged nonchalantly, "But I have to remind you that Zaun doesn't have enough troops. After all, most of them have been destroyed by your Shimmer. If we compete in reinforcements and attrition, Piltover will definitely win."

Looking at the silent Hilco, Enoch kindly reminded him, "I can use mines to block the waterway for a short time, but I can't do anything with the Hextech Flying Gate. If the Piltover guys are willing to spend money, they can always pull out a bunch of Shurima swordsmen."

"So you either fight quickly and decisively, or wait to be bled."

"I'll consider your suggestion." Hillco stood up and left. He wanted to take action before Upper City received the news.

………………

"You are a lunatic. Do you know what you are doing? You are pushing the war between the two cities, and hundreds of people will die because of your ambition." The tied Jace struggled. He had woken up a long time ago and vaguely heard Enoch's last advice.

"I am still sane, but I don't deny that what I did would bring disastrous consequences... You have to understand me. When a country is going downhill, someone needs to sit in the driver's seat and step on the accelerator." Enoch poured himself a glass nonchalantly.

"Zuan can no longer be in such a mess. Half of the people are taking drugs, the other half are frantically trying to transform themselves, and everyone is believing in religion. They are eager to change but have no way out."

"But you see, I think you can help me. You are smart and enterprising. You and I are not on the same side. You will be my closest enemy. Your presence will remind me not to go crazy. We can check and balance each other and strike a delicate balance."

"What's the price? Do you want to destroy Piltover? With the artillery you placed outside? Did you know that Piltover already has Hextech equipment?" Jayce said in pain and despair.

With a quick glance, Jayce determined that Zaun might not be able to destroy Piltover, which was protected by Heimerdinger, but it would definitely hurt a large number of citizens. This was also what Jayce wanted to avoid most after accidentally killing a child.

"Actually, I know, but I never thought of destroying Piltover. I'm not crazy. God knows how many Zaun people are related to Piltover people." Enoch waved his hand, watched Jayce stop struggling, untied the rope slightly, and poured him a glass.

"But it is important to note that Hilco personally wants Zaun to be independent from Piltover. He personally wants to separate the two cities."

"Then let me go. I will appeal to the parliament and we can negotiate." Jace could now understand why the parliamentarians' first reaction to the problem was to control rather than confront directly. The two city-states were too small and too close. So close that some of the civilians had already merged into one and were difficult to separate.

"I will," Enoch nodded, "but not now. After all, your friends are not done yet. Two people came, and two people should leave together, right?"

"What do you want to do?" Jace looked at Enoch warily.

"Save your life. After all, your head is precious. It would be a pity if it were lost in collateral damage." Enoch pushed the monkey biscuit in front of Jace. "Eat some. The night is still long."

........................

Dark, cold, powerless

Wei vaguely felt that there were small sounds around him, as if something was singing.

Wei struggled to pry open his eyelids, feeling a little uncomfortable at the glaring light.

"Once upon a time there was a little rabbit who lived happily with his family."

Suddenly, a stuffed rabbit stretched out in front of him, and the person who was controlling it waved his hand, and a sweet and hoarse voice echoed in his ears.

"Baobao, where are you?" Wei looked at the doll in front of him in surprise.

"Suddenly one day, someone didn't want the little rabbit anymore. They threw her far away and into a mud pond, not wanting to see her again."

"Poor little rabbit, she's so dirty, no one pays any attention to her, and those who pass by want to kick her."

"Guess what? Someone picked it up, cleaned it up, dressed it up nicely, and carefully patched it up."

"Now, the people who disliked the little rabbit have come out again, dragging the little rabbit to take it back, and trying to hurt the kind-hearted people who picked her up."

"You know what's the most outrageous thing?"

In a flash, the rabbit disappeared from Wei's sight. Jinx poked her head out from behind and gently put her hand across Wei's face.

"The worst part is that the guy who abandoned the little rabbit now has a big, beautiful new toy. But she just wanted the original one, so she tore off all the patches on it, just to see the little rabbit in tatters and unwanted form again."

"Good evening, sister"

"Baobob, calm down and listen to me, okay? I was so angry at the time, but I wasn't ready to leave you. You are my sister, always have been." Wei frowned painfully. "When I was in prison, all I could think about was meeting you. That's how I survived. I swear."

Jinx pulled over a nearby chair and leaned on the backrest, looking down at her sister. "I am really touched, but you still think I am that poor little girl. In your eyes, I should always be Explosive? I should always be trembling behind you, right? I have told you several times that I have changed."

"No, it's not. Listen to me... Did Enoch say that? What on earth did he tell you? He just wanted you to help him commit crimes, and then he would reap the fruits of his labor. He just wanted to use you."

Wei was troubled by her stupid way of speaking. She didn't know what she was saying, but she instinctively explained to Jinx, hoping to get the girl's forgiveness. She could only blame others in vain. "Let's leave here together, okay? Just the two of us, and never come back."

“Don’t talk about him like that in front of me,” Jinx yelled, slamming Vi against the back of her chair.

Chapter 89 Let's Play a Game

Seeing Wei in pain due to the sudden impact, Jinx felt a little bit of pleasure, but also felt more reluctant.

"Well, Enoch does seem a bit too controlling, but it's actually great for me. He likes all of me. Every time I lie on him, I can actually feel that he is secretly happy. But you, where do you think Jinx came from? It was you who asked for it, my dear sister."

"You want me to be a disaster? Now you see it. What else are you dissatisfied with?" Jinx sighed happily and looked at Vi who was speechless.

"What? You mean... you're together? Damn, I finally know why that guy is so attentive every time." Wei looked at Jinx up and down in shock.

Jinx raised her eyebrows but didn't deny it. She just carefully placed the little rabbit in her arms on the table.

"You're doing well with that Piltover chick, aren't you? Then don't come looking for me. I'm very happy here. Please let me go."

Wei struggled excitedly. "You are my sister, I will accept you, okay? Please give me a chance, I don't want to lose you again... I will go and apologize to Little Finger, is that okay? I need you."

"He doesn't care what you think of him." Jinx blew her bangs out of boredom, and suddenly came up with a good idea. "How about this? Let's do a test."

Jinx smiled and blindfolded Vi again. She was going to the law enforcement officer's house in the upper city to invite another heroine.

………………

Caitlin was feeling uneasy. She was in solitary confinement and could not receive any news, especially her two friends who said they were going to raid the lower city. But now the whole of Zaun was strangely quiet. Looking from above, the neon lights were dimly visible in the mist. But there was no sign of anything major happening.

As the day was about to dawn, I didn't know if Wei's actions were successful. Maybe she was busy showing off her power. I didn't know what she would do with her sister.

Caitlin left the bed silently, feeling exhausted. She did not rest well after being injured. Instead, staying up late made her physically and mentally exhausted.

Lying quietly on the bed, Caitlin felt tired and fell into a deep sleep. She didn't know how much time had passed when she heard someone calling her name faintly. Caitlin then opened her eyes.

This was a ceiling I had never seen before. It was covered with graffiti painted with fluorescent-like material. When I turned around, I found myself lying on a chair, surrounded by floor-to-ceiling glass. Wei was tied to one side, blindfolded, and calling out his name loudly.

"Caitlin, can you hear me? Wake up."

"Wei?" Caitlyn just wanted to get up, but found herself tied tightly to a chair, with her hands and feet fixed to strange devices.

"Okay, okay, she's awake, stop making noises," a hoarse voice came from the side. The thin figure looked Caitlin up and down with satisfaction. That look was too aggressive, and Caitlin felt uncomfortable, as if she was licked, and goose bumps appeared on her body.

“Now, listen to the rules of the game.” Jinx stepped forward and took off Wei’s blindfold, allowing her to see everything clearly. “Next, I will let you go, sister, but you have to make a small choice, break into that room and save your girlfriend, or catch up with me.”

"I promise, if you catch up with me, I will become what you want. Unfortunately, your girlfriend's arm will be broken. Who told her to point a gun at Enoch? Is this a little punishment?... Of course, she won't die. I can't bear to kill her. She is so interesting. I haven't had enough fun with her yet."
