Hearing the panting sound behind her, Wei looked back curiously and found Caitlin half lying on the ground with one of her hands covered in blood.

"Oh no." Wei unconsciously let go of Jinx's embrace, took a few steps towards the law enforcement officer lying on the ground, and gently lifted Caitlyn's body to check her injuries.

Finally, Jinx seemed to have lifted her last defense. The muzzle of her gun stopped spinning and drooped toward the ground. She closed her eyes and emptied her mind. She whispered to the illusion in her head, "Everyone be quiet. Let me think."

For a moment, the surroundings became quiet except for Caitlyn's low gasps. Wei looked at both sides anxiously, not daring to move. The only sound around was the unchanging low roar of Zaun's ventilation ducts.

The whistling sound of the ventilation fan became deeper and faster, and the roaring skateboards carried the Zaun gang members quietly out of the passage.
