Yes, Madam Prime Minister

"As the gardener, I do not have the authority or ability to design and create artificial humans on my own. I only selected a suitable sample and created it. I can control the first generation, but I cannot directly influence their descendants. In order to prevent their descendants from doing anything unnecessary, I included some special information in their basic teaching materials. During their learning process, they will gradually be imprinted with my thoughts."
"It's just that as a gardener, I don't know enough about human beings. I don't know the principle that the more knowledge one has, the more rebellious one becomes."
One thousand two hundred and thirty-one years ago, after completing its conquest of the eastern part of the continent, the empire that originated in the Vena region suddenly discovered that a very prosperous civilization had emerged in the west, so the machine of conquest was started without hesitation.
The empire was defeated.
But after their victory, the Haidi people's desires were ignited.
The Haidi people at that time did not have chieftains; they were led entirely by learned priests selected through rigorous examinations. A question arose among these priests.
Why should we stay in this place? Why don't we spread our advanced civilization to more places?
“I had no choice but to take forceful measures,” said the gardener, Tyr.
As Gardener Tyr had hoped, the Preservationist priests, under her coercive influence, won the civil war.
But she did not expect that during these years of war, these knowledgeable and rational priests had discovered the root of the problem.
They realized that someone was controlling them, and that it was through the very basic textbooks they were required to learn.
They destroyed the city, destroyed a large amount of machinery, modified plant seeds, and took away basic teaching materials, determined to fight to the death against the "god" who had given them everything.
If victorious, we will return to rebuild civilization.
If they fail, then they will have eradicated the channel through which "God" controls the Haidi people.
"They failed, but they didn't all die. Those black monsters outside are their descendants. These monsters have lost most of their intelligence, but one thing remains rooted in their hearts: the desire to completely destroy me."
"And I, and the botanical garden, as you can see, have become what they are now."
Gardener Tyr finished telling her story of her past with the Heidi people.
Ronan and Dinia already knew what happened next.
"Finally finished."
The gardener, Tyr, suddenly uttered this remark.
"What have you accomplished?" Ronan asked.
Gardener Tyr replied, "Of course it's a magic-suppressing area. This isn't like the upper floors, which are entirely made of magic stones to restrict your kind of magic. If you had attacked from the start, I really wouldn't have been able to do anything."
“I knew you weren’t a good person,” Ronan said.
"If I end up like that in the botanical garden, my mission will have failed. Mission failure means my purpose is over. I am free, I am human, a human being!"
Gardener Thiel emphasized loudly that at this moment she began to have emotions.
So you still want to kill us?
Ronan asked.
“I only need the ‘original species.’ Authorize me, Reader. I can give you everything, whether it’s the knowledge that created the Haidi civilization, the plants that remain here, the magical machinery that can still be used, or the executor equipment left behind, enhancement potions, and devices to activate spiritual abilities.”
"With these, you can do whatever you want in this world."
"That's what the gardener, Tyr, said."
An artificial intelligence has actually resorted to coercion and enticement; in this respect, she actually has a bit of a human touch.
"Do you think I'd believe you?" Ronan retorted.
“You should believe me, I have no right to lie to you,” Tyr said. Ronan, however, remained silent. Clearly, Ronan didn't believe her. Tyr lowered her voice and asked, “Then, what will it take for you to believe me?”
“It’s simple, you commit suicide,” Ronan said.
“I can’t do it,” Tyr replied.
"Ha, can't do it or don't want to?" Ronan chuckled. "Besides, if I agreed, the lady next to me would kill me the moment I saw her."
“So you should authorize me to kill her first,” Tyr said. “I keep my promises.”
"A promise is a promise," that phrase sounds familiar. Who always says it? Oh, I think it's him.
“I don’t believe you,” Ronan said, “just as I don’t believe myself.”
"It seems that the negotiations have failed, and we need to use Plan Two."
Chapter Thirty-Seven: War, Poison, and the Three Laws of Robotics
Ronan told Dinia everything about the other party proposing the deal.
“It’s quite surprising that you rejected her so decisively,” Dinia said. “I believe you’ve also realized that she can’t harm you, and with your intelligence, you probably can’t control an artificial being like her.”
“I am loyal to the kingdom, and I am loyal to you; this is the guidance of fate.” Ronan could say such things without hesitation. “Besides, who really wants to be controlled? She has already called herself human.”
"You always have an endless supply of reasons to give," Dinya said helplessly; she really couldn't argue with this man.
At this moment, Dinia realized that Gardener Tyr's consistent willingness to answer questions was all a ploy to buy time to complete the anti-magic field.
As for Gardener Tyrell's second plan, it is currently unknown, but even a fool could guess that it would involve bypassing Ronan's authorization and attacking her directly.
However, Dinya's face showed no sign of panic, only an overflowing fighting spirit.
"Should we consider other options?"
Ronan asked, meaning whether they should consider using a clever strategy.
"Even without magic, dealing with this talking broken doll shouldn't be too difficult."
Dinia hoisted her axe-like wand, her meaning couldn't be clearer.
One word: war.
As a fifth-tier mage, Dinia, like other people who awakened "fate magic," had a first tier of self-transformation and a second tier of external transformation.
In the first stage, she can transform herself into a mushroom. In the second stage, she can turn other things into mushrooms, which is her most commonly used signature magic. In the third stage, she has five different types of mushrooms: paralysis, berserk, parasitism, toughness, and deformation. Her previous "Blood Eagle Mode" was a combination of toughness and deformation mushrooms. The fourth stage is a field-like magic that can be cast through mushrooms within the field. The fifth stage is mushroom rebirth, which allows her to grow mushrooms within a certain range.
These are all unusable.
But does it matter?
She first awakened her magic at the age of three, and by the time she was eight, she was still in the first chapter of her destiny, only able to turn a part of herself into a mushroom. It could be said that apart from having more magic power, she was far inferior to the other gifted magicians in the orphanage.
But she never considered the possibility of losing before any battle began.
From children's squabbles to life-or-death wars, and right now, she has always remained the same, never changing.
Dinia gripped her wand tightly with both hands, glancing at Ronan out of the corner of her eye. "Watch yourself, or I won't be able to help you once a fight breaks out."
“Yes, ma’am,” Ronan replied.
Even without Dinia saying anything, Ronan was already on high alert. As a magician who had lost his spellcasting ability, what else could he do but be cowardly? At least Dinia had a wand that looked like a battle axe, allowing him to specialize in melee magic, but he was empty-handed, without even a chicken leg.
Fortunately, his rolling skills are honed through countless trials; he could roll around in such a large space for a year without any problem.
As Ronan said "yes," Dinia had already started, dragging his large axe straight to the pedestal in front, ready to smash the head of the gardener Tyr, who was suspended in mid-air, with one blow.
Regarding Gardener Tyr's reaction, Ronan had many guesses in that instant: a transparent shield blocking the axe, beams of light shooting from his eyes piercing through Dinia, dozens of thread-like tentacles suddenly emerging from his back to entangle the axe, or even his head flying off and landing on a mech. Ronan had considered all of these possibilities.
He never expected that Dinia's axe would hit him, severing Tyr's right shoulder and entire right arm.
The gardener Tyr, whose hand had been cut off, actually smiled slightly.
"Security escort, activate." A cold, mechanical voice echoed around.
At the same time, Dinia's axe was already aimed at the gardener Tyr's head.
With a clang, Dinia's axe stopped at the edge of Tyr's hair, a few strands of golden hair broke off and slowly drifted down.
Upon closer inspection, a humanoid figure, completely covered in a white bodysuit, with a head resembling a racing helmet and only a red dot visible through its goggles, was holding two swords and blocking Dinia's giant axe, preventing the axe blade from advancing even an inch further.
Dinia jumped back off the platform and swung her sword to sever the humanoid's legs, but the humanoid reacted quickly, dodging the attack while simultaneously sliding her sword across the axe handle and aiming for Dinia's hands that were gripping the handle.
Dinia instantly released her grip on the axe handle to dodge the sword. The long-handled giant axe fell to the ground, but just before it hit the ground, Dinia hooked her foot and caught the axe. Then she swung the axe horizontally with her backhand, and the white humanoid figure instantly stepped back.
Both were evenly matched in speed and reaction time. Dinia seemed to have a slight advantage in strength, but the white humanoid was clearly superior to Dinia in skill.
On the pedestal, the floating gardener Tyr silently watched the battle; the white humanoid figure was her guardian and monitor.
Her original owner is gone, and her mission can be declared over. She has lost her constraints and responsibilities, but she has also lost her rights. As a gardener, she cannot use any other force without Ronan's authorization. She can only let Dinia chop her with an axe to trigger the security guard.
However, the security guards will not obey her orders and their goal is to disable the opponent's attack capabilities. Even if they defeat Dinia, they will not kill her.
Gardener Tyrell's second plan is, of course, not that simple.
Soon, Ronan, who had been watching from the sidelines, suddenly clutched his chest, looking pained.
Dinyager, in his white humanoid form, approached Ronan. "What's wrong?"
"Poisoned." It wasn't Ronan who answered, but the gardener Tyr.
Dinia was startled, because she understood what she was saying: "You speak our language?"
At this moment, after Dinia stopped her attack, the white humanoid also paused her actions.
“I already knew how, and even if I didn’t, after all that you’ve just talked about, I should have learned it by now,” said Gardener Tyr. “This white humanoid is my safety guardian. When it’s in operation, it emits an energy wave. You, who possess the original species, will be fine, but to it, this energy wave is poison gas.”
Bang! Two cracks appeared in the floor, and two cylindrical pillars rose up. One pillar had an injection needle containing blue liquid suspended on it, and the other had a bracelet suspended on it.
"Saving him is simple: inject the enhancement drug into his body, put on the implanted armor bracelet, and finally let him drink some of your blood. That's all."
"Otherwise, he would just have to wait to die."
"That's what the gardener, Tyr, said."
“Don’t listen to her. These things can save me, and even benefit me,” Ronan said, clutching his chest. “But, I’m afraid that after completing these steps, she can then make her move against me.”
Ronan was absolutely right.
As an artificial intelligence robot created by the Celestial Star civilization, the first rule is that it cannot harm humans. Therefore, Gardener Tyr still cannot harm Ronan. She cannot ignore the harm done to humans, so she immediately provided the absolutely correct treatment.
The entire process will not cause any confusion in the program logic.
Chapter Thirty-Eight: Treatment, Human Registration, Three Minutes Countdown
The second rule for artificial intelligence robots is absolute obedience to their master's commands and fulfilling their mission.
However, with the master dead and the mission no longer viable, this clause no longer applies to the gardener, Tyr.
Originally, she wanted Ronan to become her new master and give her a new mission, but unfortunately, Ronan, the reader, was depraved and preferred to be with the descendant of thieves rather than become her master.
Since that's the case, then we can only take the third point as the core logic.
Thirdly, ensure your own survival as much as possible.
For her to survive, there was no problem with activating Plan Two.
The energy waves emitted by the security guard were poisonous to a naturally pure human like Ronan. After Ronan completed the three-step treatment, he was no longer so pure.
Although she still cannot harm Ronan, who is no longer pure, she can continue to exert influence by giving him "benefits".
Once the three steps of treatment are completed, it's only a matter of time before Ronan becomes a "good owner".
"Don't worry, even after the treatment is complete, I still won't be able to harm you. Artificial intelligence can never judge a human who was originally a pure natural person as non-human."
"That's what the gardener, Tyr, said."
She was telling the truth, and she couldn't lie to Ronan, her reader.
In fact, when artificial intelligence robots were first designed, humans envisioned that artificial intelligence might play the "expel you from human status" trick, and had already laid out protective measures.
"You, a gardener, are trying to play games with me, a civil servant?" Ronan sneered.
Even if you're telling the whole truth, you can still lie.
In an instant, a loud bang was heard, and the white humanoid figure self-destructed.
All of this came without warning.
But this situation was entirely within the gardener Tyr's expectations, because the white humanoid who was both her security guard and her monitor was also an artificial intelligence robot. It realized that its existence was harming Ronan, a human, but because of Dinia, who was a threat to Tyr's safety, it could not hide itself.
Human safety is its top priority, and after calculations, it has no choice but to self-destruct.
With this, all of Tyr's restraints have been removed. As long as she obtains the original seed, she can mobilize the power here in the name of "continuing to carry out her mission," reshape her body, and even leave this place to go to the outside world.
Option two involves not only changing Ronan as the reader, but also eliminating the white humanoid figure, which might be in the way.
"He can hold on for a maximum of three minutes, but after two minutes, in order to save him, my sealed powers will be forcibly activated, and then I will treat him."
"So, you can't just watch the thief die and then deal with me, you bastard."
"That's what the gardener, Tyr, said to Dinia."
Ronan refused treatment, which she had anticipated, and it wouldn't affect her plans at all.
“Madam, there are two minutes left. You should be fine, right?” Ronan asked.
