Chapter 301: Across the Taiwan Straits, Unification of Mountains and Rivers

After North Korea launched a military reunification against South Korea, South Korea immediately called its wild father on the other side of the ocean, crying and begging the American father to intervene or provide all kinds of support.

The United States, which is now facing the deep sea, can be said to be powerless in East Asia. The United States declined South Korea's request for direct intervention of the US military and material support.

However, the United States still agreed to provide information support to South Korea and take over command, as well as a small amount of material support.

The most discussed topic on the Chinese Internet now is that North Korea’s unification train has begun to depart for Busan. So when will China’s unification high-speed rail depart for Taipei?

In fact, China has been prepared to unify Taiwan in the past two years. It is just waiting for the most appropriate time.

To liberate Taiwan, the most important thing is to eliminate the influence of the United States and Japan. Now the deep-sea large-scale invasion of the U.S. mainland and the outbreak of the socialist revolution in Japan have undoubtedly put enormous pressure on the United States and Japan.

For well-known reasons, the United States has only retained a minimum level of patrol fleet in the Asia-Pacific region, which is basically equipped with several frigates and other small auxiliary ships pulled out of the warehouse.

With such strength, the East China Sea Fleet would not be able to stop the reunification of China.

Therefore, China believes that the time is ripe to unify Taiwan. After the Central Military Commission held a relevant meeting, it formally decided to unify Taiwan by force.

In order to unify Taiwan as quickly as possible, the Central Military Commission decided to send ship girls to support the operation. All ship girls were transferred from reserve to active service, and immediately reported back to the team and rushed to the Eastern Theater Command.

Taiwan is not a sovereign state anyway, and the treaty on the use of shipgirls signed at the United Nations is invalid for Taiwan. In this case, the power of shipgirls should not be wasted.

Under such political and military circumstances, Changchun, which had just had a two-day holiday, had to temporarily leave its home and "throw the bridge and sprinkle fuel" for the motherland.

"Are we finally going to take action? Changchun is so looking forward to it!" Changchun was very excited when he suddenly received the order from his superiors. You know, unifying Taiwan is the lofty dream of every Chinese soldier.

Changchun's dream was to achieve great things. She wouldn't be able to win the Order of the Soviet Union, but she could still win the Order of August 1st. She secretly vowed to fight bravely and teach those reactionaries a lesson during the liberation of Taiwan.

If there is a war, you must return. If there is a war, it means you have to return to the team. Changchun, who received the order, immediately passed it on to every comrade in the communication, even those comrades may have received the order.

As for whether to send a farewell announcement on social networks, Changchun believes it is better not to do so. After all, this incident will cause a huge impact on Taiwan, and if the information is leaked, Taiwan will be held historically responsible.

After sending the notice to each comrade, Changchun immediately stood up, quickly packed up and prepared to set off.

If a human soldier were to return to the fleet, they would undoubtedly be carrying bags as heavy as turtle shells, but the shipgirls could easily store their belongings in the ship's compartments or within the ship itself.

"If I had known I had to return to the team today, I wouldn't have worked so long and squeezed out so much milk yesterday~" Changchun muttered in a fierce and vicious manner.

Changchun walked into the restaurant, opened the refrigerator, and looked at the layer dedicated to dairy products. In addition to a one-liter bottle of pure milk, there was also a bottle of yogurt.

The packaging of these pure milk and yogurt looks like imported milk bought from supermarkets, but whether they actually contain milk or not, perhaps only Changchun and our readers know.

Changchun wanted to instruct the captain to finish the drink within three days of her departure (Captain Kong still didn't know this) to prevent spoilage and waste. But she thought it was pointless to ask.

Chinese people don't typically eat a lot of dairy products, and many are lactose intolerant. Similarly, Captain Kong wasn't used to consuming large amounts of dairy products; expecting an elderly Chinese man to finish a liter of milk and a bottle of yogurt in three days was a bit much.

If she couldn't finish the milk, it would spoil and she would have to throw it away. Changchun couldn't tolerate the waste of unfinished milk if there was a better option. So she decided to sell the "milk" herself and return to the team after finishing it.

"These are all my own essence, how can I bear to throw them away?" Changchun said, taking out the one-liter box of "milk", putting the bottle to his mouth and drinking it.

After a quick gulp, Changchun finished the "milk" in one breath and sighed to himself, "Ah~ It's still a familiar taste. My own is always the sweetest and most delicious!"

"Captain!" Changchun greeted Captain Kong cheerfully, preparing to say goodbye before departing. "Something happened just now, and I have to return to the team. Take care of yourself~"

After saying that, Changchun opened the door to the living room. The moment he opened it, the home sailor T-shirt on his body turned into a dark blue long-sleeved sailor suit with a yellow ribbon (original skin of KanR).

There was once a controversy within the military regarding the clothes of the ship girls. The older generation of cadres believed that military uniforms should not be special, and even the ship girls had to wear the same uniform training uniforms and formal attire as ordinary soldiers.

The younger officers think that ship girls should wear the clothes they bring with them. If everything is the same, then

Why do aircraft carrier ground crews wear colorful uniforms? This isn't to be special; it's to differentiate them.

Moreover, if we look at the ship girls of those former naval powers, both military and civilian, they all wear their own original leather clothes. If we wear training uniforms and uniform formal clothes, wouldn’t it seem out of place?

After much debate, the two sides finally reached a moderate view. Except for formal ceremonial occasions, as long as it does not affect training and combat, the ship girls can wear their own clothes at other times, and they cannot be too exposed.

After this notice was issued, it was ridiculed by grassroots naval soldiers as the "real version of national harmony."

According to this notice, some ship girls with more revealing outfits had to put on more clothes, especially Danyang and Fenyang (Xiaoyue), the latter of whom was even more heavyweight.

Fenyang (Xiaoyue)'s original blue and white shrine maiden costume is not only open at the shoulders but also at the chest. If it is opened slightly to the side, you can see a hint of pink cherry. This level of exposure may be normal in the game, but it is intolerable in reality and in the People's Liberation Army.

In this way, poor Comrade Fenyang had to put on a small vest for girls and a set of base clothes.

Ding'an, which later appeared on the new Yangtze River beach in Zigui, Hubei, further proved what it means that there are always people who are better than you and there are always mountains beyond you.

Do you understand the value of a high-slit cheongsam with a milky cap?

Similarly, under the strict military discipline, Ding'an also put on several layers of base clothes. (This is the People's Navy, not a brothel for you!)

 ……

After arriving at the naval base in Changchun, they boarded a military plane with their comrades and sisters and flew to Fujian Province. Their duties were mainly to cooperate with the landing troops in combat or assist the army comrades in the subsequent street fighting according to the needs of the front line.

Ever since the Soviet Union first deployed ship girls on a large scale in land combat, the ship girl-owning countries around the world have paid more attention to the role of ship girls in this regard.

Many officers believe that if ship girls reach a certain scale and are used in land combat, it will change the way land combat is fought.

So much so that some naval generals of the countries that own ship girls joked that if ships could go ashore, the army would have no use.

Moscow (ship) also once joked about this: "Land warfare is a fine tradition of our navy, and we have to taste it. Comrade, this is the Red Navy."

During the Russian Civil War, the military observers sent by China to the Soviet Union recorded all the information related to the combat records of the ship girls' land battles, and then packaged them all and sent them back to China.

Then a group of military leaders used this information as material to conduct military research and came to the conclusion that "if we want to quickly defeat Taiwan, the power of ship girls is indispensable."

Therefore, in a sense, this military operation to liberate Taiwan can also be regarded as a test of new military theories.

Relying on the practical experience gained from her volunteer army experience in her hometown, Changchun temporarily removed Chongqing from her position as a ship girl commander and replaced her with Changchun in the upcoming battle to liberate Taiwan.

In order to prevent Changchun from making mistakes during the battle, the Eastern Theater Command specially arranged Anshan as an instructor to supervise, although Anshan had been an instructor among the ship girls for a long time.

Zhao He was quite satisfied with the personnel transfer. While Chongqing was away temporarily, he said to others in a carefree and frank manner:

"When it comes to land warfare, we really have to let professionals with traditional skills do it. If Chongqing were to do it, it would either be like the Battle of Dieppe or the Battle of Gallipoli."

Fenyang complained: "Zhaohe, if you continue like this, you will be beaten by Chongqing again..."

"She's not here now, so what's there to be afraid of if I say a few words?" Zhao He said nonchalantly, "I know Sister Chongqing will be anxious after hearing what I have to say, but she shouldn't be anxious yet.

After World War I, the British Army's capabilities and equipment levels basically stagnated. Most of Britain's tanks during the interwar period and World War II were jokes. Chongqing Sister herself has complained about the riveted armor and iron ball dye bullets of British tanks.

During World War II, if there had not been the natural barrier of the English Channel (Zhaohe always used the French name), given the German army's equipment and combat quality, if there had been a land bridge, Britain would definitely have raised the swastika flag.

Getting beaten by Germany wasn't a big deal, considering their blitzkrieg tactics were impressive. Losing to Japan was unbelievable, wasn't it? The British Army was so badly beaten by the Japanese in Southeast Asia that they had to call in the Chinese Expeditionary Force to save the day. Wasn't that shameful?

So, what I said is not groundless, it is all based on history. After all, this record is really not flattering! Tell me, is there no reason for what I said? "

Zhaohe looked at the ship girls. Everyone was surprisingly quiet, with subtle expressions. Even Yixian and Zhenhai had a slightly humorous expression.

"What's going on? Why are all the comrades silent?" Zhao He was puzzled by the silence in front of him.

Zhao He thought that her arguments had left everyone speechless. She twisted her neck to stretch it out and was about to continue her long speech when she suddenly noticed a hint of willow green in her peripheral vision.

At this moment, a gentle yet menacing voice came from behind Zhao He: "Your history studies are good, and you deserve praise. But avoiding the important issues is not a good thing. Perhaps Zhao He needs to review the Battle of El Alamein."

A few seconds later, Zhaohe's wails resounded through the sky again.

Chapter 302: Across the Taiwan Straits, Unification of Mountains and Rivers (2)

This battle to liberate Taiwan has given the ship girls the opportunity to come to the East China Sea Fleet. As we all know, the East China Sea Fleet

There are four second-generation King Kong ships (four Modern-class ships). Changchun and her companions’ arrival today is a dream meeting between the old and new generations.

In this regard, in addition to Anshan, Changchun and other ship girls, Jinan has a similar feeling. The 052C Jinan of the East China Sea Fleet is not only a junior to the 051 Jinan, but also has the same name.

Ah, speaking of which, the East China Sea Fleet also has one 052C Changchun ship and one 052D Taiyuan ship. It seems that Changchun (103) and Taiyuan (104) have a one-way reminisce with the younger generations today.

"It would be great if everyone could become a ship girl, so we can liberate Taiwan Island together and capture water spinach alive!" Changchun happily jumped up and down on the bow of the ship of her junior with the same name and expressed his feelings.

Changchun also decided that if his junior ever became a ship girl in the future, he would find an opportunity to teach her the joys of human physiology.

The captain of the 150 Changchun ship accompanying them said with shame, "Comrade Changchun, have you ever thought about what would happen to the crew if all the warships in the army became as smart as you?"

Jinan looked at her junior with the same name and stroked her chin. She was reminded of the way "Azur Lane" dealt with the copied ships - the people remained the same, but the ship's equipment changed.

"If reality could be like in games, it would be nice to have a modern destroyer's body and ship equipment. But I still hope that in the future I will have a powerful junior with the same name to chat with me." Jinan scratched his peach pink and green hair and showed a cute smile.

The ship girls did not stay in the East China Sea Fleet for too long, because they did not fight with the navy, but went to a military airport in Fujian to join the airborne troops.

The Joint Chiefs of Staff believes that the difficulty of attacking Taiwan lies not in beach landings, but in modern urban street fighting.

Good steel should be used on the blade. Faced with a crushing situation like Taiwan, the Joint Chiefs of Staff also believes that instead of letting the ship girls add icing on the cake in other aspects, it is better to use the ship girls in street fighting to give the strawberry soldiers in Taiwan a little bit of shock from unconventional ships.

(PS: The term "unconventional ship" is the official name used by China to refer to such ships in official documents.)

"It turns out to be an airborne operation. I thought it was a landing. Isn't this even better?" Zhao He, who received the order, thought that airborne operation was much more exciting than landing.

"It's just..." Zhao He wanted to say something else, but before Zhao He could open his mouth, Chongqing immediately interrupted Zhao He and said, "I know what you want to say. You want to use Operation Market Garden to make fun of me again, right?"

Chongqing then warned, "Don't you think I wasn't ruthless enough just now? If you do this again, I will directly report to my superiors and recommend that you not go to the front lines. Instead, I will send you to the rear to accompany Senior Zhenhai, Ding'an, and Huajia."

For a ship girl like Zhao He, not being allowed to go to the front line was more torturous than frying fish in a hot pan. She quickly admitted her mistake and admitted her mistake to Chongqing.

Regarding the general policy for the entire war against Taiwan, the Joint Chiefs of Staff proposed two methods, one of which is relatively slow and the other is relatively fast.

A relatively cautious plan is to first capture the Penghu Islands as a transit point for attacking western Taiwan.

A relatively radical plan is to only suppress the military facilities on the Penghu Islands, bypass the Penghu Islands instead of landing, and directly rely on sea and air control to land in western Taiwan.

In the end, the Joint Chiefs of Staff chose a relatively radical plan based on the international situation and the comparison of the hard and soft power between our army and the Taiwan army. The relatively cautious plan was slightly modified as a feint attack plan to carry out strategic deception against Taiwan.

In terms of landing locations, they are practically the same. The People's Navy is capable of constructing a temporary port along any part of Taiwan's coastline. The only thing to note during a landing operation is that the Taiwanese military's air defenses and anti-ship capabilities must be destroyed first.

At that time, the Rocket Force will use ballistic missiles to launch the first wave of intensive strikes on military facilities on the western coast of Taiwan and the Penghu Islands.

In order to confirm that the Taiwan military has no remaining air defense forces, it will use rocket launchers to carry out a secondary saturation strike on those military facilities. Rockets are much easier to intercept than ballistic missiles, which can induce the Taiwan military's remaining air defense forces to open fire.

After the remaining air defense forces of the Taiwan military open fire, their positions will inevitably be exposed. Moreover, due to the large number of rockets, it will put tremendous pressure on the air defense forces of the Taiwan military, thus consuming all the ammunition loaded in the air defense system.

After the rocket launcher plows the ground, the Taiwan military's air defense system will have a cooling period due to reloading. At this time, it can take advantage of this gap to launch ballistic missiles or cruise missiles again to carry out precise strikes on the remaining air defense forces.

Now it's time for the Air Force. After Taiwan's air defenses are crippled, the Air Force will immediately seize air superiority over the Taiwan Strait, providing air support and assistance to the East China Sea Fleet and landing forces. They will also employ electromagnetic pulse bombs, carbon fiber bombs, and other weapons to disable Taiwan's communications and power grids.

The Taiwan military's "Hengshan", "Luzi", "Dacheng", "Qiangwang" and other command systems and military Internet, military local area function network and power transmission line network are the main targets of attack. It is necessary to cut off the Internet and power before and during the war.

It's worth noting that Taiwan's military targets have two characteristics that make them particularly vulnerable. The first is their concentration. For example, the distance between the Hengshan and Yuanshan command posts, the Yuanshan Expressway Interchange, and Songshan Airport is no more than 3 kilometers; the distance between Zuoying Naval Base (Naval Headquarters) and Pingtung Military Airport is no more than 30 kilometers; and the distance between Jiashan Aircraft Hangar and Hualien Airport is no more than 3 kilometers.

 A place

The domain assault combat plan can include all these goals and simplify the offensive line. It has to be said that it is really too cheap for the PLA Air Force to fight.

Second, exposure. All of Taiwan's airports are very close to the sea. Some are almost zero distance, such as Taoyuan and Hualien airports. Some are 40-50 kilometers away, such as Ching Chuan Kang and Taitung airports. The rest are around 10 kilometers away. For example, the Jiashan and Taitung aircraft hangars are completely exposed; looking east toward the hangars, the entrances are visible.

A skilled pilot can detect and attack targets with his eyes closed, not to mention the Hengshan (Yuanshan) command system located in the Dazhi area, where every hair can be seen clearly on the satellite map.

After the Rocket Force and the Air Force have basically cleared the main obstacles to crossing the Taiwan Strait, the East China Sea Fleet and the Marine Corps will split into two groups. One is to feint an attack on the Penghu Islands, and the other is for the main force to quickly liberate Hsinchu City and Taoyuan City through landing and airdrops.

The airborne troops will attack Taipei and New Taipei City on a large scale. Zhaohe, Yingrui, Chongqing, Pinghai, Ninghai, Yixian, and Fenyang will work together with the paratroopers to control New Taipei City, cutting off the connection between Taipei and Taoyuan, and holding on until the landing troops from Hsinchu and Taoyuan arrive.

New Taipei City has a very important strategic location. The area where it is located is a canyon with a maximum width of less than 4 kilometers. It is an important channel connecting Taoyuan and Taipei, and is a battleground on the island of Taiwan.

Then, Jinan, the Four King Kongs, and Danyang will follow the remaining airborne troops to land in Taipei, and carry out a decapitation operation against the top leaders of the DPP authorities before they flee Taiwan, and capture Kong Xincai alive.

Throughout the war, our military will ensure aerospace support for reconnaissance, communications, remote sensing, and positioning satellites and long-endurance drones, ensuring unimpeded command and disrupting Taiwan's military information systems. The Eastern Theater Command's technical departments are annually commended by the Central Military Commission, demonstrating the strength of their information warfare capabilities.

Finally, psychological warfare is crucial. Combining hard-kill firepower with soft-kill psychological attacks, the US leverages the Taiwanese military's fragile state of mind to intensify its psychological offensive, leveraging the impact and deterrence of hard-kill attacks.

For example, they issued the "Letter to Compatriots in Taiwan" and the "Letter to Officers and Soldiers of the Taiwan Army", and forcibly replaced the content broadcast by television and radio stations on the island through mobile phones, computers and other online platforms, and issued battlefield leaflets and slogans, etc., sending letters of persuasion to Taiwanese officers and soldiers by name.

Then, the focus was on commanders and headquarters personnel at all levels of combat troops, who were informed of the righteousness of unification and the consequences of resisting to the end; if there were uprisings or surrenders on the battlefield, they would be given preferential treatment, and if there were meritorious service on the battlefield, they would be given corresponding rewards.

The above is the final version of the Joint Chiefs of Staff's operational plan for Taiwan. The codename for the military operation to liberate Taiwan, "Mountain and River Unification," is quite concise and clear.

Now, it is 2023, not 1996.

Chapter 303: Across the Taiwan Straits, Unification of Mountains and Rivers (3)

Oh, I forgot to mention Kinmen Island. Kinmen Island, like the Penghu Islands, is not the first course for the PLA's war against Taiwan, but is eaten as a dessert after a big meal.

In other words, the PLA is not currently planning to rush to capture Kinmen. Instead, it has chosen to suppress Kinmen with firepower, turning it into an isolated island blocked by artillery shells and artillery shells, until the Taiwanese army on the main island is completely defeated, and then turn around to persuade the Taiwanese to surrender or directly land on Kinmen.

Although it is a dessert, it still needs to be cooked carefully. In order to prepare this dessert, the People's Liberation Army has put a lot of effort into Kinmen Island and arranged two heavy artillery brigades to provide support to the Taiwanese troops on Kinmen Island.

After the Rocket Force and the Air Force destroy the weapons on Kinmen Island that could pose a threat to our artillery, the entire military facilities on Kinmen Island will become the home ground for the heavy artillery brigade to set off fireworks and firecrackers.

"Comrades, our mission at that time is to bomb without restraint, just like Van Fleet did, and blow up all the Taiwanese troops on Kinmen Island!" - The pre-war speech of the commander of an artillery brigade stationed near the outskirts of Xiamen.

In addition to military preparations for the liberation of Taiwan, our underground workers in Taiwan also actively contacted patriotic organizations in Taiwan that support cross-strait reunification, asking them to cooperate with the People's Liberation Army internally and externally when the time comes.
