Akatsuki Yajo took Akatsuki Nagisa to the History Research Institute of the University of Tokyo. While observing an ancient sword that had just been unearthed, he suffered a mental backlash and fell into a coma on the spot.

Gao Wen couldn't help but reflect:

"Why does it always happen so often before my birthday?"

Before the teacher informed him, Gao Wen had already climbed over the wall and left the school, using his pocket money to take a taxi to the Tokyo University Medical Hospital.

After seeing and examining Nagisa's condition and confirming that he had only suffered minor mental trauma, he invited his biological father, Akatsuki Gajo, to the hospital rooftop.

Gao Wen and Xiao Yacheng argued loudly for over an hour, but both sides were stubborn in their opinions.

Gao Wen believes that after this incident, Nagisa should be completely removed from these situations, as they have proven their inability to properly protect her. From then on, it will be up to Nagisa to decide whether to use this power herself until she turns sixteen. If Nagisa dislikes it, he, as her older brother, will be responsible for permanently sealing her ability.

Akatsuki believes that Nagisa's abilities are a gift from heaven. Rather than avoiding them, they should be nurtured and taught as early as possible, in the safest environment possible. This way, Nagisa can maximize his talents and achieve success without wasting them. Having talent is having talent; it's a fundamental difference that should be embraced.

Gao Wen actually understood what Xiaoyacheng meant.

He was right. This was how the world was. At least, this was the highest operating rule of the world at the moment.

This is a 21st century technological world that seems to be dominated by human civilization, but it is mixed with some weird things.

But that’s not the case!

Gawain recalled what he and Rudy had discovered and known long ago when they had summoned objects from this world and deciphered the specific information about this world:

The true rulers of this world are the three True Ancestors.

This is a place where strength speaks.

So Gao Wen gave up the communication:

"[Returning from the Underworld] Xiaoya City, if you don't want to die, show your true abilities."

Xiao Yacheng just thought it was funny at first, with the mentality of playing with his son. Then, he had to give his all, but the result still happened unshakably.

Gawain broke his limbs in sixteen places, his ribs in eight places, his jaw and cheekbone.

After sending his cheap father for treatment, Gao Wen sought support from his young mother who had just arrived.

But it was not beyond Gawain's expectations:

After knowing all of his thoughts and his father's thoughts, his mother easily chose to protect his father. Since his mother was not unhappy about him hitting his father, Gao Wen understood that this was his mother's true opinion.

Gawain sat by the bed and watched over his sister.

"That's right. Fukamori's mother is one of the most successful products raised by MAR. With such a life experience, she would naturally think that Yacheng's father is right."

"Just like how Father Yagi was educated and influenced by Grandma Hisano, as a family of mage-attack wizards who protected humanity during the long dark ages, for the sake of justice and survival, not only would they exploit their talented family members, but they would also naturally sacrifice and burn themselves, even if they had grown up and held power."

They are both right.

But they were all wrong.

Ultimately, what the family members hold are merely the concepts of those struggling to survive and the commodity theory of talent, which are the concepts of the ruled elite under the three true ancestors and dozens of major countries.

They thought Gawain was too young and his talents were too strong and comprehensive, and they did not understand that having power, even if it was used, was better than having nothing.

But Gao Wen didn't think so.

"I still can't accept that my family is being used as tools by those clownish so-called rulers and those with a sense of the greater good."

Even if he wants to take advantage of his family, he is the only one who is qualified to do so.

Gawain decided to leave.

The fundamental conflict between him and his parents was too deep, and staying any longer would only lead to more, worse, and more irreversible conflicts.

Gao Wen took out his cell phone and dialed a number.

Gao Wen fought with Akatsuki Hisano and defeated her.

Gawain runs away from home.

With the secret help of Xian Guyong, one of the Three Saints, he obtained a new identity and boarded the ferry to the Far East Demon Special Zone - Xianshen Island in the name of a special orphan waiting to be adopted.

This is the beginning of a new story.

Chapter 2: Devouring Gods

There are eight chapters in total.

Time flies, and in the blink of an eye, it has been eight years since Gawain severed his relationship with his biological parents. Now he belongs to a new family and has a new family, but he still sticks to the promise he made in his childhood, to accompany his younger siblings as much as possible, guide their growth, and protect their safety.

Every time Nagisa goes out for voluntary work, he needs his permission and must be accompanied and supervised by him throughout the process. This is the "agreement between men" between Gawain and Akatsuki.

And this time is no exception.

Destination – Rome.
