The Infinite Mystery

Qin Feng was sitting under a big tree with his eyes closed. Although he had already killed the group of beetles but still, he could not stay and rest here for a long time because this was a forest and the dangers were everywhere.

On top of that, he was currently covered with blood and the smell of blood was spreading wide in the forest which could easily attract the attention of some more beetles or any other creatures.

He wanted to move but because of his heavy injuries, he could not move so he decided to rest under the tree for the time being.

Although he was heavily injured, he was filled with excitement. After resting for half an hour, Qin Feng opened his eyes and stood up with much difficulty. He could not stay in a single place for a very long time with his current state otherwise if he were to encounter any danger, he would not be able to deal with them.

He looked at the corpses of more than twenty beetles whom he fought against and killed. Then he turned his head and was just about to walk in a different direction when his gaze fell down on the first beetle he has killed among this group of beetle.

That beetle was a special beetle that knew how to use a sonic-type attack to disturb its opponent's mind.

Qin Feng saw something shining in front of that beetle's corpse. He walked with much difficulty and arrived in front of that beetle's corpse and saw a finger-long blue crystal shining.

"What is this crystal? It was not here before, and since it was not here before then how exactly did it appeared here?"

Qin Feng muttered as he extended his hand and held the crystal. He felt cold when he touched the crystal.

Suddenly as if a thought appeared in his mind, he looked at the crystal in surprise and exclaimed out, "Is it the so called dimensional crystal. It is said that a dimensional crystal could be found after killing a rare and special beast and we could absorb the dimensional crystal."

"Every dimensional crystal contains a special ability of the corresponding beast. After absorbing the dimensional crystal, we could get that ability!"

Thinking of this, Qin Feng immediately became excited. He stopped moving forward, sat down on the ground cross-legged, and started to absorb the dimensional crystal while circulating the First Layer of the Nameless Cultivation Technique.

Very soon, the blue crystal in his hand turned into a fine powder and he felt a very strange feeling as if something was merging with it. He also felt little pain from all over his body and suddenly a piece of information appeared in his mind.

"Sonic Wave!"

He was surprised as well as excited to see the ability that he acquired was the sonic type ability of that beetle.

Qin Feng stood up and once again started to move forward slowly. His injuries were still not healed so he could only move slowly.

Just like that, time started to pass. Soon three days passed and Qin Feng's injuries also healed almost 90%. During these three days, he encountered another three insect-like beasts other than the beetles but they were clearly a lot weaker than the beetles.

He easily killed them even with his injured body.

Right now, he was walking aimlessly. This adventure will last another four days as the time given by the academy to stay here was only one week.

Qin Feng arrived before a small mountain. This mountain was actually standing tall inside this forest which was very strange. He carefully observed the mountain and saw a very small cave not much further than where he was.

This cave was really very small. If one wants to enter the cave, they need to bend their bodies.

Qin Feng entered the cave and was surprised to see the scene inside. It was like another world inside the cave. What surprised him the most was that even though there was no sunlight inside the cave, the cave was still bright with light because of its walls.

Some sort of shining stones were embedded into the walls of this cave which caused the light to cover the entire cave.

Suddenly, he heard a strange voice coming from inside the cave. He carefully followed the path and arrived at an open area. There he saw a very strange scene.

More than a hundred beetles were gathered together and were doing something strange. What surprised him the most was that there were three students of the Profound Sky Academy lying unconscious on the ground.

He recognized them as the students of class B. These students were all injured very badly. What was the most strange here was that these beetles were not doing any harm to these students instead, they were trying to take these students deeper into the cave.

Qin Feng did not know what these beetles were trying to do so he curiously followed the beetles from some distance away.

As he walked forward, whenever he got the chance or find a beetle alone, he would attack and kill that beetle.

Other beetles were unaware of what was happening behind their back. Their numbers continue to decrease. Whenever Qin Feng attacked, he would try his best to kill the beetle in a single attack.

He continues to follow the beetles and soon arrived in the deepest area of the cave. As for the beetles, there were still more than sixty beetles left. These beetles dragged the three students and threw them forward.

Qin Feng was shocked when he saw the scene in front of him. Those beetles actually threw the three students at the leg of another beetle.

This beetle was almost double the height of other beetles and it was actually silver in colour. It was entirely different from other beetles. What was more, a terrifying chilling aura was emitting out from its large body.
