The Elixir is for You, The Poison is for Me

Chapter 99: Author's Ramblings on Launch Day ~ ~ ~ ~

Scratching my head, it's that time again, the part I'm worst at.

Anyway, I received a notice from my editor that "I'll Give You the Elixir, You Take the Poison" will be launched on February 1st.

Not counting the free short story, Star White, this is my fourth full-length novel.

I've also tried quite a few styles and genres. Because the changes are so big, some books will naturally be more to your taste, and some less so.

But regardless of the type, I've made it this far thanks to everyone's support, and I thank you all for your continued tolerance.

This book is another new genre and a new writing style.

So, I'm currently exploring, summarizing, and learning as I go.

I stayed up late to revise the beginning twice, around the first 40,000 words. There was a period when I was under a lot of pressure, but these are all part of the creative process.

There's really nothing to complain about.

And I've received everyone's recommendation votes, monthly votes, and rewards.

Similarly, after the launch, I'll still need everyone's help.

Subscriptions are the lifeline of a work. Having the words you type be recognized is the happiest thing for a creator.

The Qidian app now has GGs after each chapter. Clicking on it will get you ten points, which is almost enough to subscribe to a chapter. Adding the recharge gifts, the remaining chapter will basically cost you six or seven cents.

Combined with the chapter comments, the official version will also provide a better reading experience ~
