The Alpha's Return

"Just sleep in my room. I'll stay up tonight. It's alright.", Michael waved his hand and turned away. Lucas shrugged and he went inside the warehouse back to the room that Michael had taken him at the very beginning. He fell onto the bed, and closed his eyes.

He slowly dozed off into sleep.

After three hours,

Lucas suddenly opened his eyes. His ears perked up. He woke up and got off the bed. Everything was dead silent, and that felt off. He shook himself wide awake..

"Grrrr...", he heard a sound ring in his ears.

"What happened, Fenrir?", Lucas asked softly.

"I smell wolves. They have a despicable smell. It seems that they are carrying Anthora.", Fenrir replied.

"That must be what Peter used on me, and what must have got you awake. Looks like Peter has a few friends that he sent over.", Lucas growled, and his eyes turned a fiery red. He opened the door and exited the room. The whole warehouse was dark, as if everyone had gone to sleep. With every step that he took, a part of his body turned more of that of a wolf. By the time he was at the end of the corridor, he did not look human anymore. He was a complete werewolf. He had fur all over his body, and had glowing red eyes.

His body was enlarged, and his clothes stretched apart, but they did not tear. He growled once again as he moved forward. He walked across the corridor to the despicable smell that he could now smell quite distinctly.

The moment he was at the end of the corridor, he could hear more.

"Five Heartbeats. They are looking for me, no one else. And, they know about you, Fenrir.", Lucas spoke again.

"Are you an idiot? Speaking out like this is literally giving out your position.", Fenrir told Lucas.

Lucas chuckled. "Do you really think that all werewolves have as good a hearing as you do? They are too far. They are at the entrance, maybe. Then, shall we go meet them?", Lucas said as he walked right through the huge gathering towards the entrance.

"Attack!", Lucas suddenly heard a voice shout. He instinctively fell back raising his hands. The five people that he thought were at the entrance, had actually been in the gathering, right next to Lucas all along.

Lucas growled and he retaliated immediately. He could now see the five werewolves that he was up against. They were also completely transformed, but they were not as big as Lucas. They were smaller, and had yellow eyes. One among them, however, had distinct blue eyes. Lucas locked eyes with that one person, and he smiled. "You're an alpha?"

"Retreat! He is very strong, and it seems that he is not as injured as we were informed.", the alpha shouted.

"Too late.", Lucas grinned as he rushed forward. The other werewolves tried to stop him, but to no avail. Lucas slashed his claws towards the nearest werewolf, and he howled in pain. Not stopping, Lucas quickly arrived in front of the alpha. Before the alpha could even move, Lucas howled. He howled loud, and even the desperation movements that the alpha was making were cut short as he froze in the spot.

Lucas held the alpha by the neck. "Well now, who are you?" he asked. As if on cue, the lights came on at that exact moment.

"What the hell is happening Lucas? Who are all these people? Who do you have in your hand?", Lucas heard Michael's voice. Lucas was about to say something, but when he turned, what he saw shocked him. Right behind him were five people in human form with slashes across their necks. He turned back to the alpha in his hand, but he was too late.

The Alpha was grinning as he bit down on something. Froth started forming in his mouth. Lucas dropped the man on the ground, and the alpha turned to human form very quickly.

"I am out of here, Michael. It is no longer safe here, for you or for me. I just found out that I am not as strong as I used to be. Peter could have done something to me. To think that I was almost ambushed by this pack of disgraces.", Lucas sighed.
