Chapter 4 Quarrel
Nancy wiped her tears as she walked, there were too many of them, gushing out uncontrollably. She didn't want to go back to the dormitory in this state, so she slowed down and tried her best to hold back her tears. She always felt that there was something behind her, but when she looked back, there was nothing. The corridor was too dark, only a few weak torches were propped on the walls.
Pulling out her wand, Nancy recalled a few small attack spells that Snape had taught, but fortunately they finally came to an end.It was an empty, damp stone wall.
"Pureblood!" A stone door hidden in the stone wall slowly opened, Nancy put away her wand and walked in, and the stone door closed again.A figure flashed out, and Snape silently stared at Shimen and turned back into the darkness.
The Slytherin common room is a long, low basement built into the bottom of the lake. The walls and ceiling are made of rough stone.Green lights hung from the ceiling on chains.Draco sat in a carved chair away from the fireplace, looking down at two boys playing wizard chess.
One of those who sat cross-legged and played chess was Blaise. He looked up and said with a smile, "Nancy, are you being hunted down by the five-legged monster? Your face is pale."
Draco seemed to be completely absorbed by the chessboard, studying it carefully.
"Are you serious? Five-legged monster? If one of them ran to Hogwarts, I think it would be crowded. After all, it was transformed by a legendary wizard." Another boy said with a smile, and directed himself by the way. The white queen overthrew Brace's knight.
"It's so cruel... Theodore." Blaise sighed, "It's all legends, and the truth and falsehood have long been unknown. Neither Mike Levo nor Mike Boone survived, I know The Department for the Protection of Fantastic Creatures has been working on spells to restore them to their original form, but quintupeds are not that easy to catch."
"So, are you going to duel with Potter?" Theodore Nott said with a glance at Nancy who was walking towards the girls' dormitory.
Draco smirked. "I've tipped Filch that someone's going to the trophy room. I think Potter might want to see the old Squib more."
"This is the best way. We don't need to put ourselves into it to make the other party suffer." Theodore praised.
Seeing Nancy's approaching figure, Blaise gave Theodore a meaningful look.
"Malfoy! You really have studied the word despicable very thoroughly!" Nancy said, staring at Draco.
"Sorry! I don't understand what you're talking about. If Potter appears in the trophy room tonight, it can only mean that he really wants to take a closer look at the past honors in the middle of the night. I can't stop this A person with hobbies. Will he...will go?" Draco looked at Blaise with a little doubt.
"Perhaps Mr. Potter has this interest!" The latter responded solemnly.
"He was tricked by you!" Nancy yelled at Draco.
"That only shows that he is simple-minded. Maybe he should ask the Sorting Hat if he got it wrong. He should have gone to Hufflepuff."
"He trusted you to agree to a duel with you. In the end, you lied to him! Who are you? You don't keep your promise!"
"Who am I? In essence, we are the same kind of people. Otherwise, how do you think you came to Slytherin?" Draco hooked his lips, "What's more, I'm just making up and not deceiving. The difference between the two is different."
"I really don't know what to say about you! You..." Nancy simply marveled at his sophistry.
"Nancy, I don't prevent you from making friends with Gryffindors. Of course, I have no qualifications. But if possible, while you are defending the Savior, you can remember a little bit of our insignificant friendship. I can't get enough of it." Draco said, looking seriously into Nancy's eyes.
"Where are you going?" Draco stood up and blocked Nancy's way. "Going to inform? You'll be caught by Filch! How many points do you want for Slytherin?" he whispered.
"Nancy, I think it's okay." Blaise joined in, standing with Draco.
"Get out of the way!" Nancy drew her wand out.Draco and Blaise stared at it carefully.
"I don't think it's a good idea for you to point your wand at a partner you grew up with," Draco said coldly. "Besides, one has no chance of winning against two!"
"Nancy, put down your wand, we don't need to make a fuss about a Gryffindor, do we?" Blaise persuaded.
"What if I'm added?" Theodore lazily stood beside Nancy and drew out his wand.
"This really surprised me." Draco looked at Theodore. "Is this the Nott family's position?"
"Perhaps Mr. Malfoy doesn't think you can participate in family decision-making. Obviously, you don't know anything. And Blaise." Theodore said briskly.
"Oh? Then what is there that my dad can't tell me? Like?" Draco's gray eyes narrowed slightly.
"for example......"
"What are you doing?" This was what Snape saw as soon as he stepped into the lounge.
"Professor, someone is going to sneak out during curfew!" Draco was the first to inform Snape.
"If Mr. Malfoy can spend his extra energy on studying instead of always focusing on others..." Snape followed Draco and stared at the three boys in turn, Returning to Draco's face again, "Copy "A Thousand Herbs and Ferns" and hand it over to me tomorrow! And Zabini!"
"No, it's impossible! It's impossible to copy..." Draco tried to protest in surprise.
"Quiet! Save yourself the time for talking nonsense and you'll be able to finish it! Now! Right now! Go back to your dorms! Everyone!" Snape said sternly, standing in the shadows.
The other grade students in the common room immediately dispersed.Nancy also turned and walked towards the bedroom.
"It's not fair! Why are only the two of us copying?" Draco complained in a small voice as he hurriedly followed Blaise and Theodore towards the boys' dormitory.
"This is probably the result of unequal information!" Theodore gloated in response.
Potions classes are held in the underground classroom, which is colder than the main castle building above.
Snape clearly hated Harry more than Nancy imagined. He kept using all kinds of potion knowledge to make things difficult for the opponent. Some sarcastic compliments were thrown in between the words. What a famous person, the light of the savior illuminates the whole potion classroom, and the radiance of the succulent. In the end, to sum it up in one sentence, it seems that fame is not everything.
He ignored Hermione Granger, who was about to raise her hand to the ceiling, and just enjoyed Harry's embarrassment to the fullest. As Harry said, "I don't know, but I think Hermione has the answer, why didn't you ask her?" This didn't improve his situation, it irritated Snape instead.
"Potter! One point from Gryffindor for contradicting the teacher!"
Snape divided the students into pairs and instructed them to make a simple scabies potion. But Neville somehow knocked the potion in the Simogan cauldron to the slate floor. The potion spread quickly and burned holes in the shoes of the surrounding students. Neville himself was covered in potion, and his arms and legs were covered with bruises. Inflamed scabies.
"Idiot!" Snape swung his wand and wiped the ground away and turned to look at Harry, "Potter! Why didn't you tell him not to add porcupine quills? You thought he made a mistake and showed you? Gryffindor lost another point for you!" He interrupted class to send Neville to the infirmary.
The Gryffindor and Slytherin students walked out in twos and threes, "This is so unfair!" Ron said to Harry.
Draco looked at them and said maliciously: "It seems that our savior escaped once again. Yesterday was Filch, and today is Potions class! You know, there is still half of Potions class!"
"It really was you! Did you do it on purpose? You didn't go at all!" Ron pointed at Draco angrily.
"Tsk tsk... don't be so resentful, you should be grateful to me, I taught you a vivid lesson, stay away from Filch. Of course you have to pay some tuition fees, how many points will be deducted from Gryffindor? " Draco asked curiously.
Harry ignored Draco's provocation, looking over him at Nancy.Draco straightened his face quickly, and looked at Harry with his eyes, "Are you two together?"
"What are you talking about?" Harry looked puzzled, "You don't know?"
"What do I know?" Draco frowned.
"Maybe you should ask your dad, if he knows!" Harry nodded at him and turned to chase Nancy.
Why did he ask Dad about both of them?Maybe it's time for him to write a letter to his father. There is always a feeling of being beaten passively.Draco thought silently.
