The next morning, Bathilda was surprised to find that for the first time Gellert didn't have to be urged to get up by her, but sat obediently at the table by himself, looking at her eagerly: "Auntie, I'm hungry, what do we have for breakfast?" ? I'm in a hurry to go out."

And Bathilda's reply was a slice of bread thrown in Gellert's face.

"This is enough!" Gellert took the piece of white bread, put it in his mouth and went out happily.

"Oh, poor Albus." Combined with Gellert's questioning last night, Bathilda understood that the two teenagers had become friends.Thinking about the little blond bastard made him worry about the future of the soft and sweet Albus.

A worried Albus was cooking breakfast for the family.

"Albus! Are the scrambled eggs ready?" Gellert, as if he could never shut his mouth, happily called to the red-haired boy who was busy in the kitchen, "Albus! Are my scrambled eggs ready?"

The other red-haired boy was not very happy. He stared at the sudden intruder fiercely, while comforting Arianna: "Leave him alone, do you want some more milk?"

While talking, a few plates flew over from the stove and landed firmly in front of everyone.

"English breakfast," Albus smiled, taking off his pink apron, "to our new friend."

And Gellert also sang along, immediately put a piece of scrambled egg into his mouth with a fork, and then put on an exaggerated expression: "Oh my God! It's so delicious!"

Obviously his poor acting skills have benefited Albus very much, the red-haired boy laughed, seeing the other party's undisguised affection for him, Gellert felt that he could probably spend his whole life at Dumbledore's house.

But his arrival didn't please everyone, and Aberforth kept a straight face, staring at Albus and warning Gellert with his eyes.As Albus's younger brother, he knew too well that his older brother was not naturally friendly, and he had never seen such accommodating and caring for a person.

Gellert might take Albus.

Even though the blond boy didn't do anything, Aberforth inexplicably had such a guess in his mind.

Fortunately, Albus's good performance in the past half month made him let go of his suspicion temporarily, and he decided to trust his brother again.

Aberforth ignored the two people on the opposite side, carefully cut Arianna's grilled sausage into small pieces, and heated another glass of milk for her.

"Thank you." Ariana whispered to Aberforth, then obediently picked up the glass and sipped the milk.

"My brother is far more careful than I am," Albus said to Gellert, smiling, "but people often confuse it with the opposite."

Gellert absently nodded in agreement, but he didn't agree. It's not that Albus doesn't know how to take care of people, but that he overestimates, or doesn't want to admit that his love for his younger siblings is limited.

"Just be careful with me." He whispered.

"What?" Albus asked as if he didn't hear clearly.

But Gellert knew he heard clearly - because of the reddened ears.

Aberforth had graciously given Albus a leave of absence, announcing that he would take care of Ariana for the day, and kicked the two out of the house with a wild punch.

"So, do you have any plans for the future?" Gellert asked, sitting casually on the grass.

"I was supposed to be in Paris by now," said Albus. "You know, the English wizarding tradition, to travel around after graduation."

"and then?"

"And then my mother died," Albus explained briefly, but with little emotion on his face. "Aberforth hasn't graduated yet, and I have to stay and take care of Ariana."

"It doesn't matter if your brother graduates or not," Gellert commented bitterly.

"Don't say that, Gellert. I'm the firstborn after all."

"But what about your own wishes?"

The other party pointed to the most critical part, and Albus was a little at a loss for words, and then replied: "In front of family responsibilities, my wishes are not important."

"So you just don't want to? Saint Albus." With a smile on his lips, he lay unruly on the grass with his hands behind his head.

Albus didn't feel offended, on the contrary, he liked seeing the other person act fearlessly and don't care.He was easily drawn to the free-spirited imagery Gellert created.

"Then what will happen to you?" Albus asked softly, afraid of breaking the scene before him.

"Me?" Gellert opened his eyes and stretched out a hand to block the sunlight, "Well... just walk here and look there."

Albus raised his wand and cast a spell, and thick shade fell over them.Gellert moved his hands from his eyes in surprise and sat up.

It's an easy spell, but Gellert likes to be noticed and cared for.He just thought the sun was too bright for the other party to notice immediately, he thought triumphantly, Albus couldn't leave me.

Albus himself was distracted for a second, surprised by his own reaction, and his only motive was not to see Gellert's beautiful eyes covered.

I really want to watch him forever, Albus thought, letting himself go.

I want to be stared at forever, Gellert thought blissfully.

But neither of them said a word, they just looked at each other, trying to find conclusive evidence from the depths of each other's eyes that the other cared about themselves.

Albus was fascinated by this strange gaze, he felt as if he had drunk twenty glasses of Firewhiskey, but he broke the silence: "...so, shall we start our experiment today?"

Albus was inevitably late coming home.

When he came in, he saw Aberforth sitting in the living room angrily, and immediately snorted coldly when he saw him.

"Sorry, we didn't control the duration of the experiment well," Albus said apologetically.

"If your brother can understand one-tenth of what we do today, he should understand that it is obviously more important than taking care of their experiments."

Gellert came in after Albus, talking lazily.

"So what? Is he going to live in our house now?" Aberforth said to Albus, ignoring the blond boy.

"Gellert just came for a cup of tea and left."

"Merlin's socks! It's eleven o'clock at night! And he's coming for bloody tea!"

"Don't do this to our new friend, Aberforth," Albus warned.

"You've only known each other for a day!"

Gellert was starting to find the argument boring, so he walked straight past Aberforth and headed upstairs to Albus's room.

Albus didn't stop him, and obviously guessed the boy's extremely boring nature, but he couldn't get away, still standing where he was, trying to appease the unhappy Aberforth.

Gellert looked around Albus' room again bored, and then lay down on Albus' bed casually.

He smelled the faint scent of flowers on the other person's body, and then found a few red hairs on the pillow. Then he became interested, and directed the hair to float in front of his eyes with a magic wand, weaving it into a ring.

This is what Albus saw when he entered the door.

The red-haired boy's face turned red immediately, and the way the other person was lying on his bed made him vaguely feel that he had touched some kind of secret emotion of his own, but he couldn't tell it because of his lack of experience.

"Ah! Albus!" Gellert immediately rolled over and got out of bed, "You're finally here!"

Albus tried to hide his shyness and asked, "Would you like Darjeeling or Earl Grey?"

"I don't want to drink anything." The boy said with a smile, but the next action made Albus pale with shock——

He got down on one knee jokingly, and put the ring he had just made out of his hair on Albus's ring finger.

"What are you doing, Gellert?" Albus' voice trembled at first, but he soon calmed down.

Gellert found that the other party didn't laugh like he saw his other pranks, and was a little disappointed: "Don't you like it? This is made of me and your hair."

Albus brought his hand closer to his own and took a good look at the soft, red-and-gold ring.

"I like it, Gellert," he said, "but don't do it next time. It's not something to joke about."
