sunset melting gold

Chapter 1 Butterfly

Snow mountain ushered in a heavy snow in the evening.

The snowflakes flying all over the sky erased the continuous outline of the snow-capped mountains, swallowing the setting sun between the peaks like a monster with a big mouth.

A two-storey villa is hidden under the shelter of the snowy pine forest, and the faint light from the windows clearly illuminates the trajectory of the falling snowflakes.

Fang Shiqiu knelt on the carpet in front of the fireplace, staring blankly at Liang Ming in front of him.

The firewood in the fireplace was burning quietly, and the orange-red fire projected on the carpet silently escaped from the confinement of the black fence, climbed up the pale back, and butterflies intertwined with light and shadow broke out of the chrysalis from the protruding bones , spreading its wings in the dancing flames.

Liang Ming stood in the center of the room, lightly clasping the back of Fang Shiqiu's neck with his right hand.

Behind him is a whole side of transparent windows, the dim shadows of the mountains are reflected on the dim glass under the light, and the biting cold of wind and snow is isolated in the wilderness.

The fluttering snowflakes fell into Fang Shiqiu's dark pupils with the wind, and his scattered eyes closed for a moment.

Is it winter?

As soon as a strange idea appeared in his chaotic mind, the hand clasped behind his head suddenly tightened violently, pulling his hair roughly.

The tingling from the scalp drove the chaotic thoughts out of the brain, and Fang Shiqiu let out a sob from the stimulated throat.

His lips and the corners of his eyes were moist, and the tears rolled down his cheeks and sank into the fluff of the carpet.

The line of sight was bouncing and jumping, and the familiar ferocious face was blurred in the warm orange light. Fang Shiqiu's gaze could only see a large image of a fusion of orange and gray and black.

He closed his eyes and leaned on Liang Ming meekly.

The wind and snow raged past outside the window, the slender branches of the pine tree bent and swayed in the bitter cold wind, and the cold wind mixed with snowflakes beat against the glass window.

The flame in the fireplace was extinguished in an ambiguous atmosphere, and a few faint sparks flickered on the black charcoal.

The only warm light source in the room disappeared, the butterfly spreading its wings on Fang Shiqiu's back lost its luster, and the shoulder blades wrapped in pale skin shrugged slightly.

He kept his head up, his unfocused eyes staring blankly at the person in front of him.

Liang Ming tightly clamped Fang Shiqiu, his rough fingertips rolled over his chin and side face, and wiped away the remaining warm tears on his face.

He squeezed Fang Shiqiu's chin and smiled lowly at this beautiful face.

"Qiuqiu is so good."

Fang Shiqiu subconsciously opened his mouth to respond to a distant and erratic call from above his head, but no sound came out of his throat.

He could only look up at the condescending man in front of him in vain, showing a vulnerable and bewildered expression to the brutal ruler.

Pleasant by Fang Shiqiu's expression, Liang Ming let go of the restraint, his fingertips slid down his chin, and landed on the Adam's apple bound by the black collar.

He hooked the collar around Fang Shiqiu's neck, and dragged the defenseless man onto the bed.

Fang Shiqiu fell on the side of the bed, his consciousness repeatedly eroded by hallucinogens intermittently, and the whole person let Liang Min play with him like a marionette on a string.

There were bruises all over his arms, and the small wounds left by the needles were constantly oozing blood, and there were scattered blood stains on the flat white sheets.

Before the consciousness that was torn to pieces broke, Fang Shiqiu felt a stream of scalding water continuously rushing out, and the body temperature lost with the hot liquid spread on the white sheet behind him.

Liang Ming seemed to be lying next to his ear and whispered a few words in a low voice, his warm breath sweeping across his collarbone, but the ear that was echoing with the shriek could no longer hear any sound.

He looked out of the window, watching the gray-white shadow rustling down behind the glass, bit by bit nibbling at the looming black pine leaves in the snowy wilderness.

In just a moment, the pine leaves and branches were completely swallowed by the snow, and the crooked picture before me was turned upside down again, and the scenery changed from snow falling outside the window to a dim fireplace.

The fireplace was no longer burning, the air in the room was chilly, and a group of black butterflies flew out of the charred coals.

The butterfly flapped its sparkling wings and circled in the cold bedroom, skimmed over the syringe on the carpet, and finally landed on Fang Shiqiu's nose and eyelids.

He saw the wings of the butterfly fluttering, and the breath of charcoal fire and fine glitter powder fell into his eyes with the flapping of the wings, erasing the last trace of clarity.

The numb body could no longer feel any pain or stimulation, it almost melted into the blood-stained scarlet swamp on the bed, and the consciousness seemed to be floating among the soft clouds, gradually collapsing and collapsing.

Liang Ming felt Fang Shiqiu's strangeness in the middle of the journey, but he didn't stop there because he was in high spirits.

The warm breath turned into white mist in the air, and Liang Ming didn't let go of Fang Shiqiu's hand until he was completely satisfied.

He got up and straightened his clothes, and looked down at the unconscious person lying on the bed with cold eyes.

The wound on Fang Shiqiu's body was still oozing blood, and the semi-dried blood stains attached to the bed sheet were blurred away, and there were dirty white stains in the large dazzling reddish-brown marks.

The fireplace in the corner was cold and silent, and the cold air came in through the small gaps in the windows, but the weak wind could not blow away the fishy sweetness floating in the closed room, and even diffused the smell into every corner.

"Tsk."

A hint of impatience flashed across Liang Ming's face, he grabbed Fang Shiqiu by the shoulder and threw him off the bed to the ground.

The floor of the room was covered with a thick carpet, and Fang Shiqiu didn't make too much noise when he fell on the carpet.

He was still unconscious, his body curled up unconsciously under the stimulation of pain, he hid his scarred arm under his body, and completely exposed his blood-stained back.

Fang Shiqiu looked miserable, but Liang Ming didn't give him a sympathetic look.

Taking out the cigarette case from his pocket, Liang Ming sat on the single sofa in front of the window with a cigarette in his mouth.

"Click-"

The flame flashed across the hoarfrost-covered glass, igniting the paper wrapped around the shredded tobacco. Half-bright sparks swam through the brown shredded tobacco, and turbid mist escaped from the flames.

Liang Min exhaled a puff of cigarette, flicked his finger lightly, and the ash of the cigarette floated onto the light-colored carpet under the sofa.

After a while, the door of the room was pushed open from the outside, and a thin woman with a black bracelet on her wrist appeared behind the door.

She lowered her head and didn't dare to look at Liang Min. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Fang Shiqiu lying on the ground, her body trembling uncontrollably.

Liang Ming didn't care about her fear, and sat casually on the sofa by the window to enjoy the wild snow scene.

The snow on the eaves fell heavily on the ground, and the splashed snowflakes exploded into white fireworks in front of the window.

Liang Ming looked at it, with a smile of unknown meaning on the corner of his mouth, while the woman he ignored was squatting cautiously in front of the fireplace.

After a slight sound, the fireplace was lit again.

Liang Ming turned his head, extinguished the half-burned smoke, stretched out his fingers and touched Fang Shiqiu who was lying on the ground.

"Clean him up."
