Detective Sherlock

Chapter 3, I started thinking about Mary. You understand.

Although it feels inhumane to do so.

But for Curly Fortune and Peanut, Mary, you have to make a small sacrifice.

Just don't come to me at night.

8:[-] am.

Before John went to work, he specially ran to Sherlock's residence, but he didn't see Sherlock's figure, and he was shocked.

John frantically walked around the room looking for it, and kept calling, "Sherlock?"

After John yelled 5 times, John heard a response that floated out of nowhere, "I'm here!"

John groped for the direction along the weak voice and asked, "Where is it? I didn't see you!"

"Here! I'm in the wardrobe! Come on, John!" came Sherlock's voice from his own room.

"I'm coming! Hold on!" The scene of Sherlock being bound and thrown in the closet covered in blood flashed through John's mind, and he hurriedly ran to the closet and slammed open the closet door.

But the scene that caught his eyes was not as bloody as he had imagined. At this time, Sherlock was sitting curled up in the closet, holding a ring box in his hand, and said to himself with a smile on his face, "Good morning, John."

Looking at the scene in front of him, John froze in place.Sherlock looked at John who was motionless, and immediately got up and patted John on the shoulder. This action made John completely wake up from the shock and surprise.

John sighed, then put his left hand on his hips and held his forehead with his right hand, and asked helplessly, "My God! What are you doing hiding in the closet this morning?"

Sherlock withdrew his turn and smiled at John, "Hide and seek."

"Oh! Come on. You are old and young, can you stop playing such exciting games?" John pursed his lips, shrugged his shoulders, and continued to spread his hands: "My heart is almost stopped by you."

"Hmm..." Sherlock straightened his collar in front of the mirror, and then said, "I didn't know that hide-and-seek could play this effect." After speaking, Sherlock smiled and smiled at John.

Sherlock walked out of the living room, grabbed a few things quickly, and rushed straight to the door.John followed Sherlock and asked, "Where are you going?"

"The police station." Sherlock opened the door, paused, glanced at John and said, "Do you want to come together?"

John met Sherlock's eyes. After being stunned for 3 seconds, he took a step and followed behind Sherlock.

The two went downstairs to the street, and Sherlock immediately hailed a taxi. The two got into the taxi, and John asked impatiently, "What did I miss last night?"

"You did miss it." Sherlock looked at John and smiled.

"What's going on?" John's brows knit together into a knot.

"I received a very beautiful ring." After Sherlock finished speaking, he took out the ring box in his pocket.

Looking at the ring box in Sherlock's hand, John asked in surprise, "What? That guy Moriarty wants to propose to you?"

"No, no, it's not what you think, John." Looking at John's dumbfounded expression, Sherlock explained with a smile: "The ring I received was a ring that I don't know whose name it is, but it has engraved A name, Michael."

John was a little embarrassed because of his out-of-control emotions just now, so he didn't respond directly to Sherlock, but said after a pause for a few seconds: "So you are going to the police station to investigate this person?"

"Hmm." Sherlock looked a little dignified.

John looked at Sherlock, and just about to say something, the taxi driver reminded, "The police station is here."

After Sherlock paid the money and got out of the car, he rushed straight to Lestrade's office.

Sherlock directly pushed the door in and greeted Lestrade with a smile, "Good morning, Lestrade!"

Hearing the voice, Lestrade raised his head and said, "Oh! Sherlock! It's great to see you!" Lestrade got up and walked to Sherlock's side, and patted Sherlock on the shoulder.

Sherlock nodded, and straight to the point stated the purpose of this trip: "Help me investigate something."

"Investigate what?" Lestrade was a little confused.

"This is it." Sherlock took out the ring box and handed it to Lestrade.

Lestrade took the ring box, but still didn't understand what Sherlock meant, so he scratched the back of his head and asked, "What is this?" Seeing that Sherlock didn't speak, Lestrade opened the ring box by himself.

After looking at the ring, Lestrade continued to ask, "Is this ring a clue to a case?"

"I don't know what the case is yet, but I think the person related to this ring should be dead." Sherlock explained calmly.

"Dead?" John didn't know how Sherlock deduced it, so he interrupted and asked, "How do you know?"

"You found me in the closet this morning, John." Sherlock guided John to recall the morning.

"Yes." John asked puzzledly, "What does that have to do with clues?"

"The reason why I hid in the closet was because I found the bottom of the ring box under the black sponge, and there were words written in fluorescent powder. So I hid in the closet in the morning and looked at the bottom of the box. What kind of message is left .Then I saw the word 'death'."

"But there are so many people named Michael, how do you know which one to look for?" Lestrade folded his hands on his chest and raised his own doubts: "Because no murders have happened recently." John nodded, He also expressed his agreement with Lestrade's point of view.

"Another clue is the ring itself." Sherlock then quickly expressed his findings and inferences to others: "As far as I know, this ring was launched by the VIP members of the Cartier Jewelry Company 10 years ago to commemorate their company. A limited-edition ring for the 10th anniversary of its establishment. Therefore, members who are not members of their company cannot buy this ring. You can check which VIP members have bought this ring, and then look at the people who have disappeared recently to know who it is gone."

After hearing Sherlock's words, Lestrade immediately called his subordinates to start handling the matter immediately. And John, as always, admired Sherlock's observation and reasoning and couldn't help admiring: "It's great!"

"Let's go, John." After Sherlock finished, he left Lestrade's office without looking back. And John followed after greeting Lestrade.

Sherlock stopped a taxi, got in, looked at John and said, "Now you should go to work, John."

"Hmm..." John replied a little awkwardly.

Sherlock looked at the hesitant John and said to him, "Don't worry, at least until this case is solved, Moriarty won't do anything to me."

"Okay," John said, nodding.

The taxi stopped in front of the hospital, John got out of the car, looked at the profile of Sherlock in the car, John said: "Be careful."

"Yes." After Sherlock gave John a faint smile, he asked the driver to drive away.

Looking at the scene of the car going away, John's eyelids suddenly jumped a few times.Looking at the pedestrians coming and going on the sidewalk in the distance, John always felt that something was going to happen today.

John walked into his office, put on his white coat, and was about to start working when there was a knock on the door.

A nurse's voice sounded outside the door: "Doctor John?"

"Come in." John replied casually while buttoning his buttons.

John turned and sat down at the desk. The nurse came in, put an envelope on John's desk, and explained, "Here is a letter for you."

"Oh, thank you." John smiled and thanked the nurse. After the nurse closed the door, John picked up the letter and looked at it carefully. There was no sender, and only his name was written on the envelope.

John opened the envelope and opened the letter paper, a bright red "Mary" hit his eyeballs.

"Mary!" John screamed in a low voice, and ran out of the office in horror. While running, John also took out his mobile phone to call Mary.

"Sorry, the phone you dialed has been turned off." The cold, emotionless machine voice came from the receiver.John's heart sank, thinking that Mary and his children were in danger now, John wished to blow the villain's head open.John stood on the side of the street, looking around frantically for a free taxi.

At the same time, the last sliver of reason remaining in John instructed him to call Sherlock.

"Hello? John?" The familiar voice from the receiver made John's anxiety a lot less.

"Sherlock, go to my house quickly. Right now, Mary seems to be in danger! I'm on my way home now." John's anxious tone revealed a sense of panic and helplessness.

"Don't worry, John, I'll go now." Sherlock comforted John.

After hanging up the phone, Sherlock immediately took a taxi to John's house. While in the car, Sherlock was also a little restless, fearing that if John knew of Mary's situation at this moment, it would leave John with an indelible trauma. Therefore, I must be faster than John first, and improve the situation to the best before John arrives.Thinking of this, Sherlock couldn't help urging the taxi driver: "Master, hurry up, lives are at stake!"

The taxi driver's sudden brake caused Sherlock's body to almost hit the back of the opposite seat.Sherlock opened the door and went straight to John's house.

No matter how much Sherlock rang the doorbell, no one in the room responded, and Sherlock couldn't help knocking on the door and shouting: "Mary, I'm Sherlock, open the door!"

There was still no change in the room. Sherlock went far to look at the structure of the house, and immediately found a stone and smashed open the kitchen window, and climbed into the house.

Finding nothing unusual in the kitchen, Sherlock remained vigilant and tentatively called out to the living room: "Mary?"

No one answered in the living room, Sherlock walked upstairs slowly, exploring in various rooms.Sherlock eventually finds Mary collapsed in the toilet in the bathroom.

There were some bloodstains on Mary's body, and her breathing was very weak. Although Sherlock was stunned by the scene in front of him, he still made a correct judgment immediately. He picked up Mary, rushed to the street, hailed a taxi and went straight to the hospital.

"Hold on, Mary! Think about John, don't die!" Sherlock looked at the dying Mary and shouted excitedly.

"Tell him that I love him." Mary's slightly squinted eyes were out of focus.

Sherlock nervously performed CPR on Mary and yelled, "Don't! Don't leave John!"

Looking at the unconscious Mary, Sherlock hurriedly sped up the CPR action.

As soon as the taxi stopped, Sherlock immediately picked up Mary, rushed into the hospital, and shouted in the hall: "Hurry up! Save their mother and child!"

After a while, the doctor and the nurse immediately pushed the operating trolley for emergency treatment on Mary. Sherlock tremblingly held Mary's hand and ran along with the operating trolley, shouting at Mary, "Don't die!"

A group of people rushed towards the operating room with their carts. Outside the operating room, the nurse stopped Sherlock from following: "Please wait outside the operating room."

Sherlock watched the last moment when the door of the operating room closed, and then burst out. He slammed his fisted hand against the wall of the corridor. Then he silently took out his mobile phone and dialed John's number.

"Hello? Sherlock?" John found that the other party did not respond, and asked again: "Hello? Sherlock? Do you know where Mary is? There is no sign of her at home."

"Go straight back to the hospital. Mary has already been sent to the hospital." There was a desperate answer from the other end of the microphone.

After listening to John, the string of reason in his brain had been broken, and John ran madly towards the hospital.
