Just a Bit Wicked
Chapter 27
Not a date.Not a date.Not a date.
Maybe as long as Sebastian repeats it enough times, the beating deer in him will finally calm down.
Not a date. They just hang out together like normal friends. He and Vlad are friends. They can only be friends. He shouldn't -- must not -- take things astray.
In the last month, his life has been completely out of order. All sorts of "what ifs" bothered him, and he was distracted and frustrated by himself.Even celebrating Christmas with his family didn't cheer him up.Fortunately, his parents didn't seem to notice.
But Julia was not easy to fool.As soon as he got home, she found out that he was in a bad mood, so she blocked him in his room to extract a confession.
He did it all.
When Sebastian finished, his sister didn't roll her eyes or say "I told you," she looked at him a little sadly and said:
"Do you remember that Christmas we spent at Aunt Virginia's?"
Sebastian frowned. "Some impression? I remember when I was eleven or 12 years old."
Julia nodded. "Aunt Virginia made all the kids make a Christmas wish on paper. Aunt Stella was your behind-the-scenes Santa, but she ended up asking you to make another wish. Do you remember your original wish? What wish?"
Sebastian recalled for a while, but remembered nothing. "Can't remember."
His sister smiled, a little happy, but also a little sad. "You want soul-stirring love." She laughed. "I still remember me teasing you, saying that you are really a girl." She looked into his eyes. "I wish Mike hadn't been in your life."
Sebastian swallowed, looking down at his hands. "What does it have to do with him?" Julia let him change the subject, but she hugged him tightly before walking out of his room. They hadn't hugged like that in years. She whispered, "You made a mistake once, and you're afraid you'll make it again; but don't let your life be ruined like that. Don't let him get the better of you." Then she went, leaving Sebastian More doubts.
Even at work he behaved strangely. He hides whenever he meets Antonio. The Italian didn't seem to understand why they couldn't have sex any more—even Sebastian couldn't understand it, let alone explain it to him.He was a young bachelor with a love of carnal pleasures. There's nothing stopping him from sleeping with Antonio -- or anyone else -- for that matter. What the hell, why should he refuse Antonio?
Because he thinks he already has someone.
Ridiculous, what a mess, he just thought about it.But he just felt that he already had someone. As soon as he closed his eyes, he could almost feel Vlad's hand resting on his hip, and Vlad's lips pressed against his inner thigh, sucking one hickey after another, arousing his desire, the touch Touching is both intimate and simultaneously a declaration of possession. He'd always been contemptuous of possessive behavior and machismo, and he—he wanted to be Vlad's.
It's ridiculous.He wasn't Vlad's, and Vlad wasn't his.Nothing could exist between them but friendship.
On the way to Stamford Bridge, Vlad drove, and Sebastian kept repeating those words to himself like a mantra. He was alone in an enclosure with Vlad... now that seemed like a really bad idea.Sebastian felt like a nervous sophomore, constantly looking for something to say so he wouldn't keep staring at Vlad.If someone asked him what they were talking about, he couldn't answer at all.
God, how is he going to be friends with this man?His eyes were glued to Vlad's large, strong hands on the steering wheel, and he missed them, missed their touch. His lips tingled with the thought of Vlad's lips. His body missed Vlad's body.At the thought of kissing Vlad, Sebastian had to dig his fingers into his thighs to prevent himself from reaching out and sticking to Vlad like a monkey in heat.
When they finally reached their destination, Sebastian couldn't wait to get out of the car. They were allowed in through the staff entrance, saving them the long queues.
Vlad shrugged when Sebastian asked. "I know the owner of Chelsea."
By the way, this club belongs to a Russian.
"Let's find a seat." Vlad put a hand on Sebastian's lower back, guiding him forward.
Sebastian felt like laughing a little. He warned himself not to be stupid, this is how friends get along, it's no big deal, at least he shouldn't make a fuss.Maybe Sebastian shouldn't be so aware of this touch, after all, it's separated by a coat.
As they found their seats in the Matthew Harding Stand, Vlad withdrew his hand.Sebastian felt both relieved and regretful.
"VIP tickets are sold out," Vlad said.
"Very good." Sebastian sat down on the seat and looked around excitedly. "VIP seat is not my thing, I like the atmosphere here. Let me tell you, I love to sit with my die-hard fans, they will sing those songs, and they will sing them live."
"So you're a big fan?" Vlad looked at him with interest.
Sebastian's chest bubbles with joy.He squirmed in his seat, trying to ignore the feeling. He liked to occupy Vlad's attention, thoroughly. He liked it so much, maybe it wasn't normal anymore.
"It was when I was young. But I don't go to watch the games very much now." He replied, watching the few vacancies around him being filled quickly. The atmosphere was fantastic, the fans sang the team anthem as the players warmed up before the game.
"Why?" Vlad asked.
Sebastian bit his lip and looked at him. "The BBC made a documentary about homophobia in football. I was involved in the filming. So my face became very prominent in the area. Of course, I am not a player, but I have players who are not out. Friends. They can't speak for themselves, so I speak for them." He smiled self-deprecatingly. "When I said the fans were a bunch of conservative homophobic jerks, I guess most of them were offended. I got attacked badly on Twitter for daring to say things that people don't know. In fact, the cults That's probably why the culprits took me as a target." Sebastian looked around and received a few hostile looks, which made him a little annoyed. "You probably don't want to be seen here with me."
Vlad frowned, looking around gloomily. "You should have told me before you came."
"Sorry," Sebastian said hesitantly, avoiding his eyes. "If you want to go, go. I know you don't want to be seen as gay."
"Hey," Vlad said, putting his big hand on Sebastian's shoulder. "look at me."
Sebastian looked at him, his face serious. "Don't be stupid, I'm not going anywhere. I told you to tell us in advance that it's for us to find a safer seat, nothing else." He made a bitter face. "I know I was very messy with you before, but you didn't really think I'd just get up and leave and leave you here alone?"
Sebastian stares at him, realizing he doesn't think so.He didn't think Vlad would leave him to the wolves. There is a reason why he doesn't come to football games. Although the other fans have never touched him, their hatred and abuse always disappoint him.He didn't feel safe watching the game alone, and if he thought Vlad was going to leave him here alone, he wouldn't have come at all.
"No." Sebastian said softly, smiling slightly. He looks away from Vlad with difficulty, almost blurting out something stupid like "I feel safe here with you".He looked towards the arena, pretended to be enthusiastic and said, "The match is about to begin!"
His feigned enthusiasm became real when the referee blew his whistle to signal the start of the game.He was so focused on the game that he quickly got carried away with excitement. He didn't lie to Vlad, he hasn't been to the game for a long time, today is a rare treat for him.Unlike the last time he watched a Chelsea game, he felt at home and safe with Vlad by his side.
Towards the end of the first half, Vlad touched his hand. "Your hands are purple, are you cold?"
Only then did Sebastian realize that his teeth were chattering from the cold.He was so engrossed in the game that he didn't even realize he was freezing.
"Well, I'm freezing to death." Sebastian whispered, frowning and looking at the Saint Laurent coat on his body.He had spent an hour trying on all the coats and jackets this morning before choosing this one with great pains - without Vlad knowing about it.Although this dress looked good, it couldn't stop the cold wind from attacking.
"Aren't you cold?" Sebastian said miserably.Vlad was only wearing a light jacket, but he didn't seem to be feeling much about the cold.
Vlad shook his head slightly teasingly. "It's as comfortable as spring in Siberia."
Sebastian rolled his eyes and slapped Vlad on the arm. "It's not nice not to show off, is it? Yes, you're a strong Russian and I'm an English beauty, okay?"
Vlad had a smile on his face. "You don't have gloves, Britney?" He took Sebastian's frozen hands in each, examining his knuckles.
"No," Sebastian said, watching Vlad's thicker fingers rub and rub against his thinner ones. There was a throbbing feeling in his chest. He looked up into Vlad's face. "do you have?"
Vlad grinned. "If I had it, would you want it from me?"
"You should give it to me directly, so I don't need to ask for it." Sebastian smiled lightly——damn, are they flirting?Stop it, stop it.They shouldn't be.
Humming, Vlad let go of Sebastian's hand and took a pair of leather gloves from his pocket.
"You're not cold, why did you bring gloves?" Sebastian asked.
"You never know when you'll need to break into someone's house, so be prepared," Vlad said, handing the gloves to Sebastian.
That would be a joke if it came out of 99% of the mouths; but Sebastian doubted that Vlad was joking at all.
"Are you joking?" Sebastian asked, only to receive a shrug in response--this is a lot of room for imagination.
Sebastian sighed annoyed - I hope he didn't show too much affection - took the gloves and put them on.Gloves are a bit big, but they fit well.
"Thanks." He muttered softly.
Vlad stared at Sebastian's hand for a moment before nodding and looking away.
Sebastian turned his gaze back to the field, feeling a little nervous. This Vlad actually cared about whether he was cold or not, which made him feel overwhelmed. He almost wished Vlad would continue to treat him like an asshole.Almost.
He concentrated on watching the game and tried his best to drive the man around him out of his mind. The Manchester City striker dribbled past the Chelsea defense.Fuck, he better not—
The striker missed the goal, and he cheered loudly with the other fans.
Then, the rhythm of the game became tense, the two teams came and went, and the climaxes continued.Sebastian was so engrossed in the game that it took him a while to realize that he put his arms around Vlad's arms out of excitement and leaned against Vlad with his whole body.
He withdrew his hands abruptly.
"The game was too exciting," he said awkwardly, afraid to look at Vlad.Depend on.What is it about Vlad that makes him return to the miserable green dick boy he once was?
"Hmm," Vlad said, looking at his phone. "Do you think Dewar can score? The odds are good."
"You bet?" Sebastian leaned towards Vlad, looking at his phone.
Vlad snorted in acknowledgment. "Just put five thousand pounds on Gabriel Duval."
Sebastian whistled. "Then Gabi must play well."
Vlad turned around. "You know him?"
Their faces were suddenly so close that Sebastian swallowed. "Well—I mean, we're not friends or anything, but, um. He was adopted by the same couple as Tristan Dewar."
Vlad's eyes lit up with gossip. "Are those rumors true?"
"What rumor?" Sebastian flinched secretly. He knew that Vlad was unlikely to reveal Gabby's sexuality, but he still felt that it was wrong to share other people's secrets without permission.
"It is said that he had an affair with the team doctor." Vlad looked towards the technical area.Sebastian could see Dr. Sheldon was there. The team doctor is handsome as hell and has come out publicly.
"I don't know." Sebastian touched his nose.
Vlad watched him for a moment. "You know, you touch your nose whenever you lie."
Sebastian dropped his hands and laughed. "Don't be so perverted, okay?"
Vlad glanced at him uncomfortably. "Pay attention to what's abnormal? Pay more attention to your surroundings, maybe one day it can save your life."
Sebastian pursed his lips to keep from laughing. "Yeah, you must have a good reason for being so crazy," he teased, looking Vlad in the eye.
Vlad looked at him, grimacing as if he'd swallowed something sour. "You're teasing me," he said. "Fuck, don't flirt with me if you still want us to be friends."
Sebastian licked his lips. "I'm not teasing you. I'm just being friendly."
"Then you're not very 'friendly'," Vlad said. His strong gaze made Sebastian feel hot all over his body, and his dick became half hard at once, feeling dizzy.
"I..." Sebastian didn't know what to say, because he was indeed "flirting" just now.He couldn't control his mouth and his eyes on Vlad.
"You said we shouldn't do that, and I agree." Vlad looked as though he was in pain. "I'm trying to be decent, too—I'm trying. But you—" Vlad glared at him hard. "So pretty, so alluring, it makes me dizzy—"
"I didn't mean to," Sebastian said guiltily. He bit his lower lip and lowered his eyes.
Vlad cursed in Russian, suddenly grabbed Sebastian's hair, and kissed him hard and greedily on the mouth. He retreated even faster, cursing under his breath, hiding his trembling hands in his pockets.
Sebastian stared at him wide-eyed.His lips tingled, his heart beat faster, and his whole body trembled with intense desire.
"I'm sorry." Vlad's voice tightened, staring at the field like it was the most interesting thing in the world.
Sebastian stared longingly at Vlad's mouth-watering jawline, and put his nails on his thigh again, trying to distract from the pain.
Damn, they're so bad at being friends.
Sebastian looked around angrily, meeting the contemptuous and disgusted eyes of the people around him.He froze in place.
"Let's go," he said.
Vlad frowned, still staring at the field. "There's still half court left."
"Others are watching us, Vlad." Anxiety made Sebastian's chest tighten. With a game as important as this, the tension always builds as the game progresses, and most fans appear to have had a few drinks before the game; sometimes the smallest things can lead to violence.
Vlad followed his gaze to those who were staring at them. His expression was even colder, with a ferocious look in his eyes.
"Calm down," Sebastian said nervously, putting a hand on Vlad's shoulder.Vlad had a bad temper; if someone called him Glass, he wouldn't let it go.
"I'm very calm." Vlad said calmly.
"Then let's go." Sebastian said, standing up.
Vlad grabbed his wrist and pulled him back. "We're not going anywhere." He said, looking back at the people around him. "It doesn't make sense. We're here to watch the game, so let's watch it."
"Vlad," Sebastian looked around anxiously, trying to say something. He could sense hostility and disgust from almost everyone around him, except for a woman in the front row who was just watching it curiously.
"I've never let a bunch of bastards run away with my tail between my legs, and I don't intend to," Vlad said.
Sebastian smiled wryly. "Usually you're the one who bullies people, right?"
Vlad didn't return his smile. In fact, he looked around fiercely, looking at everyone, as if warning them not to talk nonsense with his eyes.
Fuck, this is not going to end well.
"Please," Sebastian continued, grabbing Vlad's upper arm. "Let's go."
"No," Vlad said. "No one has the right to let us go." Before Sebastian could speak, Vlad put an arm around him and pulled him to his side, their sides and thighs touching.
Sebastian widened his eyes and took a breath. "What the hell are you doing? Are you crazy?"
"Anyone who has an opinion, get out," Vlad said.
"Didn't you say 'I'm not the second chair', what's wrong?" Sebastian was completely dumbfounded. He thought that if anyone had the slightest suspicion of their relationship, Vlad would try to stay as far away as possible. "They thought you were gay, why are you so calm?"
Vlad frowned.Maybe he was surprised too.
"I don't know them, and I don't care what they think of me," he said. "But they look at us that way, and I'm fucking upset. If you feel this way every time I find fault with your sexuality, why don't you beat me up? You should beat me up as soon as I open my mouth."
Sebastian felt his jaw drop. There are many ways Vlad might react to being sexually discriminated against, but this is undoubtedly the one that surprised Sebastian the most.
"It's not that I haven't tried it," he said with a smile. "But you can't blame me for being as big as a tank."
"No, I don't blame you." Vlad's tone was strange, and he turned his head to look around vigilantly, his eyes sharp and tough.
Sebastian let himself relax and leaned against Vlad.To be held in Vlad's arms, to hear Vlad's warm breath, to feel Vlad's strength for himself, this feeling is unbelievably good.Sebastian was not small, but, nestled in Vlad's arms, he felt small and weak, protected in every possible way.Although those hostile eyes were still there, he was no longer nervous, somehow convinced that no one would dare to make a move. It's stupid, and it's also dangerous.
But his stupid heart and body just wouldn't listen, reveling in that feeling: full of warmth, embraced, protected.
Be taken to heart.
God, he's really hopeless.
The halftime break passed quickly, and he didn't remember what happened. Vlad whispered in his ear about how the two teams should line up.Sebastian nodded absently, barely answering, his mind preoccupied only with snuffing out that little spark of hope that had risen ferociously. He couldn't read too much into Vlad's performance, and even if Vlad acted like a boyfriend, it didn't mean he wanted them to be that kind of relationship. He can't think like that.
The halftime break ended and the game finally started again.Sebastian was relieved to finally be able to focus on other things.
In the second half, Chelsea's performance improved and began to attack continuously.Sebastian couldn't sit still any longer and muttered "Come on" under his breath.
In 6 minutes, Gabby Dua finally scored a goal, and Sebastian jumped up and cheered loudly: "Damn it! Go in!"
Grinning, Vlad hugged him from behind and kissed him lightly on the cheek.
Sebastian felt warm and his heart was pounding like a caged bird.He leaned back into Vlad's chest, wishing secretly that there weren't so many layers of clothing between them. Now no one pays attention to them anymore, everyone is busy hugging each other and celebrating the score.
Unfortunately, the referee quickly blew his whistle to signal the players to continue the game.
Sebastian slumped on his seat, his heartbeat not slowing down at all.He hesitated for a moment, then leaned over to Vlad, snuggling against him for warmth.
"How much did you win?" He smiled at Vlad, a little carried away.
Vlad looked at him. "More than expected," he said, wrapping his arms around Sebastian again.
Sebastian settles happily in his arms, feeling too warm and content to answer the stares of those homophobic bastards.
Vlad's nose was pressed against Sebastian's cheek as the game drew to a close.
Sebastian held his breath, his heart hanging in his throat. He dared not move.
Vlad's nose brushed against his cheek, his lips brushed against his chin. "I'm sorry," Vlad said hoarsely, with a sigh. "I can't be your friend. I don't want to be your friend. I want to go further."
Sebastian closed his eyes, fear, hope and ecstasy surging through him.
If he agrees, maybe it will be heartbroken again, maybe this time he will never heal again. His feelings for Vlad were much stronger and deeper than his teenage crush on Mike; which meant he would fall harder.
They are not suitable for too many reasons.Vlad's psychological baggage is too heavy, and maybe in a few months he will finally decide that he is not gay and leave him.Vlad might resent him for "turning him gay", which would sour their relationship.
Vlad may never love him.
But, maybe he will.
Sebastian opened his eyes, fear gripping his throat and hurting him—fear of making the wrong choice.
He suddenly remembered his sister's words.
You've made a mistake once, and you're afraid you'll make it again; but don't let that ruin your life.Don't let him get the better of you.
Sebastian turned to look at Vlad.
Vlad met his gaze, his expression frank and defenseless. That's when Sebastian realizes that he's not alone in feeling vulnerable.
He raised a hand and pressed it to Vlad's smudged cheek.Vlad snuggled into his palm. His throat loosened a bit.
Sebastian licked his lips, determined to give it a go.
"Let's go further then." He said softly with a smile.
Vlad's blue eyes smiled too.
end
eight months later
It's a bright and beautiful morning, Tristan Dewar and Zach Hardaway's wedding day.Sunlight streaming through the half-closed curtains woke Sebastian.
He yawned and rolled over, and then, caught his breath.
The morning sun shone brightly on Vlad's blond hair. His slack lips were not tightly shut, his breathing was steady, and his broad chest rose and fell rhythmically. All in all, he looked warm and dependable, manly.
Sebastian rested his head gently on his pillow, just looking at him.He wanted to snuggle up against Vlad's warm body, stick to his not-so-white skin, and greedily suck his scent. But right now he just watched him, as if he would never tire of it.
I love you.
The thought gave him no anxiety. He just felt that it was appropriate and natural. They've been together for months, and he's used to having his breath taken away by the love that comes over him every now and then.
The feeling of falling in love is beyond imagination. He still gets scared sometimes, but he finds himself smiling more and feeling more optimistic and happier, especially when he's around Vlad.
Although sometimes not so happy and romantic.
Bad days would come from time to time, and Vlad would shut himself off and become tense. He'd try to avoid Sebastian, but he usually ended up going back to Sebastian anyway.
"I'm sorry." Vlad would apologize gruffly, rubbing the tip of his nose against Sebastian's cheek, neck, and breathing hard, as if trying to suck him in.
At first, Sebastian thought he was apologizing for his bad mood, but it didn't take him long to realize that wasn't the case; even in that state of mind, Vlad still couldn't do without Sebastian, which That's why he apologized.This... almost melted Sebastian's heart.
One night a month ago, Vlad was upset again. "You know it's nothing," Sebastian said.He leaned against Vlad, who hugged him tightly.Although Vlad was holding him, they all knew who needed the hug more at this moment.
He looked at Vlad. "You're freaked out about being gay. I know I said I didn't want to be bothered, but that was before." Before I accepted you; before you were mine. "You can talk to me, I want to hear it. Of course, I won't force you."
Vlad just stared at him for a moment.
"I..." Vlad grimaced, closed his eyes for a while. "It feels like there's an annoying voice in my head that keeps taunting me about how wrong and disgusting I am with men. I don't hear it that often anymore, but it still drives me crazy sometimes, can you understand?"
Sebastian nodded, biting his lip thoughtfully, tracing the lines of Vlad's arm with his fingers. "How can I help you?"
"You've helped me," Vlad said. "I can't hear you just by looking at you."
Sebastian suddenly felt his throat tighten. He cleared his throat. "Why is that so?" he teased. That's right, he just wants to hear compliments, what's the matter?
"I'm telling you, it's not nice to be too arrogant," Vlad said, but the intoxicated, passionate look on his face gave him away. "Ask the question knowingly, you little bastard will turn his nose up to the sky."
Sebastian smiled happily, warm and happy.God, there is no cure for him.
"You like it," he smugly said. "Although you speak harshly and violently, you secretly like me as a whole."
"I'm not grumpy," said Vlad grumpily.
Sebastian raised a hand and patted his cheek. "It's okay, it's okay to be cranky. I can laugh at both of us."
Vlad kissed him.
When Vlad let go of him, Sebastian was a little breathless, his mind blanked with intense happiness, and he murmured, "Hey, I love you."
It was the first time he had said that to Vlad.
They were all a little dazed, staring at each other. But if Sebastian was a little surprised by his confession, Vlad looked completely stunned, as if someone had pulled the floor off him.
"You can't love me." He finally spoke, his Adam's apple rolling up and down.
Sebastian patted Vlad on the head. "How do you say that? I love whoever I want, even a Grizzly bear like you. You don't need to tell me whether I love you or not."
Vlad blinked quickly and turned his face away, leaving only Sebastian in profile. It was a handsome profile, the chin was amazing; but Sebastian had just confessed - he hadn't confessed to anyone since Mike - and just looking at the profile wasn't enough for him.
The longer the silence, the more disturbed Sebastian became. He tried to free Vlad's arm, but Vlad wouldn't let go.
Finally, Vlad looked over. "You can find someone much better than me." His voice was like rough sand. "You can find someone who has a good temper and knows who he is. Find someone who will never break your heart."
Sebastian bit his lip. "If you can't say that by now, that's okay. I don't want to hear your insincerity. But I need to know if you, um, have feelings for me; I'm more than just a pretty little sleepy thing to you. For now, that's enough." He breathed a sigh of relief.ah.He said it.He hoped Vlad would understand and appreciate him taking this first step; it wasn't easy for him, and it put him in a precarious position.
Vlad looked at him like a madman. "Honestly, I have feelings for you so much, I can't pretend to be okay, or I won't come." Vlad smiled desolately. "I don't—I don't think you're enough." He stroked Sebastian's neck, then cupped his face tenderly. "I can't get enough in my life." His lips brushed against Sebastian's. "I always want more from you."
Sebastian finally breathed a sigh of relief and smiled at Vlad.Maybe it wasn't the confession of love he wanted, but it was close enough. That's enough for now.
Now, five months after that conversation, he still feels enough is enough.
Sebastian has nothing to complain about. He was really happy, sometimes so happy that he pinched himself to make sure he wasn't dreaming.Vlad was a great boyfriend, despite his bad temper and venomous mouth.
Before, when Sebastian imagined a "relationship" between him and Vlad, he always thought that "sex" would be the main part.
To his surprise, this was not the case.
It's not that they don't do much sex; they do a lot.Sometimes Sebastian even wondered whether it was harmful to desire a person so strongly.Whenever Vlad stared at him for any length of time, his skin tingled, and almost every moment he wanted to be touched by Vlad, the longing almost devoured him.Luckily, when they weren't touching each other, Vlad looked at him with the same hunger, otherwise he would be pathetic.
Making love is intoxicating and satisfying; but what is truly fascinating is how their bodies fit together, like two adjacent pieces of a jigsaw puzzle, made by nature. This perfect rapport extends to every aspect of their relationship.Vlad would pull Sebastian close to him whenever he could; at the movies together, Vlad would put his arm around Sebastian's shoulders and hold him tight.Sebastian didn't particularly like hugs before, but now he also appreciates the beauty of them.He liked to put his face on Vlad's chest, listening to the steady heartbeat in his ears, bang, bang, bang, accompanied by the raindrops outside the window. He liked to see Vlad look at him, to feel the eager, intoxicated gaze of the other when they were in the same room.
Yes, he knew now, Vlad had feelings for him, Vlad loved him, with all his heart. There was no need for Vlad to say that; he felt quite secure.
Although... it would be nice to hear him say it himself and confirm it.
Sebastian suppressed a sigh and slipped out of bed carefully so as not to wake Vlad. They just need to be at the wedding venue before ten o'clock.Vlad was busy until midnight last night because of some security issues at work, and now he can catch up on sleep.Sebastian also happened to prepare their breakfast first.
Breakfast was ready when Vlad wandered into the kitchen. He yawned continuously, looking unhappy.
He's such a grumpy bear.His Grizzly Bear.
"Just in time for breakfast, slob." Sebastian looked at him with a doting smile.Vlad hated getting up early.
Vlad groped Sebastian with half-closed eyes. "You're not on the bed," he hummed, wrapping his arms around Sebastian's waist, buried his face in the crescent of Sebastian's neck, and took a deep breath. "You should stay in bed."
"We won't have breakfast if I don't get up, and we'll all be grumpy at the wedding." Sebastian pushed Vlad into a chair and set the breakfast plate in front of him. "Let's eat."
He sat down across from Vlad and began eating his share. He is starving.Although it was midnight when Vlad slipped into bed, they did a round. He is always hungry after sex.
"Do we have to go to Dewar's wedding?" Vlad asked suddenly.
Sebastian looked up from his plate. He studied Vlad's face, trying to tell if he was just having a routine tantrum, or if he really didn't want to be in such a public place with him.
The second possibility made Sebastian nervous. He understood that, although they hadn't particularly concealed it, Vlad was still reluctant to let others know about their relationship.Whenever they were in public together, Vlad was a little reserved, acting almost like a friend compared to the affection they had when they were alone.Vlad never again showed the intensity of their first court date, which was short-lived.Sebastian knew he wasn't the cause of Vlad's annoyance, and he tried not to take it personally, but he was a little sad, just a little.
Sebastian cleared his throat and looked down at the mug in his hand. "I have to go, but you don't have to, if you don't want to go with me." He tried to speak as nonchalantly as possible.
"Hey." Vlad nudged him under the table.
Sebastian looked up at him.
Vlad looked at him seriously. "I wanna go."
A warmth rushed from Sebastian's chest to his limbs. He hooked Vlad by his ankle. "Yeah?"
Vlad nodded. "I don't want Antonio to feel that there is an opportunity."
Sebastian rolled his eyes and sighed uncontrollably, but grinned when he stood up. "It's almost finished, we have to pick out clothes for you! We have to feed the cat before we leave." He frowned and looked around. "Actually, we've got to find them first. I haven't seen Slater all morning. He's definitely 'Apparated.'" He giggled to himself, feeling particularly good about himself.
Vlad groaned.
***
The wedding was grand, with celebrities and media from all walks of life gathered at the scene. At home, Vlad thought the Armani dress was too grand, and now he understood why Sebastian insisted that they must dress up-everyone.
As guests who were not too close to the newcomers, he and Sebastian sat in the back row.Vlad was fine with that, because he never liked showing his back; but Sebastian kept stretching his neck to get a better look.Luke waved to them from the front row, with Roman sitting next to him.Vlad nodded to him too.Recently, he felt that the child was much more pleasing to the eye.Luke and Roman have been together for more than a year, and the relationship is still very good, which is a bit unexpected for Vlad.
"Don't tell Roman, but Luke also wants Roman to propose quickly." Sebastian whispered into his ear.
If Vlad was drinking water, he would have choked to death. "He could have proposed himself," he said cheerfully. "I don't think Roman is the type to propose." But it's the same old saying. If he had been told a year ago that Roman would be serious about dating the Whitford boy for a long time, he would definitely You will think that person is crazy.Maybe he doesn't know a fart at all.
Sebastian shook his head, his scent wafting faintly to Vlad's nostrils: cologne, aftershave, and his unique scent.Vlad had the urge to put his nose up to Sebastian and smell it all.But he refrained, the crowd.
"no
Maybe as long as Sebastian repeats it enough times, the beating deer in him will finally calm down.
