【Lou Cheng】 How easy is another day

A story in a few words.

Before the Christmas holiday in 1969, Minglou used the benefits of traveling together with his employees’ companions for the first time, and asked the department secretary to book a round-trip ticket from New York to Paris for him and Mingcheng.

He knew his application would not be approved, but he did it anyway.

His department secretary, an Englishman, was a little surprised after receiving Ming Lou's application: "Dr. Lou, I always thought that was your roommate."

Minglou smiled slightly: "You British people have very different definitions of roommates. Now please tell me, should I define them according to the mainland or the island country?"

I had never seen the director of the building make a joke, and the secretary suddenly found himself unsure whether it was a joke or a British joke.

The UN provides free air tickets once a year for some of its management-level staff and their families, which is considered part of employee benefits (other benefits include exemption from personal income tax!), but recognizes same-sex couples as "family members" passed.
