Wei Chi School started in mid-February, just after the Lantern Festival.

Xiao Yan didn't open the calendar and looked at it. The Lantern Festival falls between the two solar terms "Lichun" and "Rain".

These two solar terms are not very special, but they always represent spring.

The weather has been warmer recently, Xiao Yanwei didn't know what to decorate when he helped Wei Chi pack his things.

"You don't need to bring so much," Wei Chi pressed Xiao Yanwei's hand that was going to put his down jacket on, "I'll be back next week."

"Bring one and change it." Xiao Yanwei said.

"One piece is enough," Wei Chi leaned on the desk, stretched out his hand towards Xiao Yanwei, "Come here."

Xiao Yanwei took his hand and stood up, "What's wrong?"

Wei Chi sighed, and hugged Xiao Yanwei into his arms, "I don't want to leave."

Xiao Yanwei rested his chin on Wei Chi's shoulder and laughed at him, "That's all you want me to go back to school?"

Wei Chi stopped talking, hugged Xiao Yanwei for a while, went over to put things on himself, checked that the time was still early, and asked Xiao Yanwei,

"Will you go to the mountains?"

Xiao Yanwei thought for a while, "Go."

Since last week, the temperature has been almost above zero. Although it is still not high, it has not snowed again.

Xiao Yan didn't take the camera, and the two changed their clothes and walked up the mountain.

In the first month, everyone was fine, and there were not many people on the road. Occasionally, a few fellow villagers who visited saw them and greeted them from a distance.

Xiao Yanwei was very used to the address "Teacher Xiao", Wei Chi nodded, and he nodded accordingly.

Wei Chi followed suit, "Mr. Xiao."

Xiao Yanwei replied without shame, and called him, "Teacher Wei."

"Teacher Xiao."

"Teacher Wei." Xiao Yan could not help laughing.

"Well," Wei Chi also laughed, took the camera from his hand, and called again, "Mr. Xiao."

Xiao Yan didn't look at the camera, whistled at Wei Chi, then tilted his head and smiled.

Wei Chi pressed the shutter and handed it over to Xiao Yanwei for a look, "It looks good."

Xiao Yanwei always knew that he was pretty, and he was not humble, "I think so too."

Wei Chi checked that there was no one around, and took Xiao Yanwei's hand.

The two held hands and walked slowly.

When he reached the foot of the mountain, Xiao Yanwei suddenly stopped. Wei Chi glanced at him, and pulled him towards the small pond, "It should melt."

Xiao Yan did not follow him, "How do you know what I want to do?"

Wei Chi glanced back at him, and deliberately said, "I don't know, I just wanted to go and have a look."

Xiao Yanwei took a few quick steps to keep up with him, "Then go, I'll take a look with you out of mercy."

Wei Chi leaned over and kissed him on the side of the cheek, "Before you knew you were so out of shape, I chased you the first day you came."

Xiao Yanwei frowned, "Don't you?"

"Ah," Wei Chi thought for a while and admitted, "It really is."

Xiao Yan may have been more serious about preparing for lessons than Wei Chi when he hadn't settled the old score. He smiled and asked Wei Chi, "You were sleepy and I was going crazy."

Wei Chi glanced at him sideways, pulled him into his arms and hugged him, "I want to sleep with you right now."

Xiao Yanwei kissed him on the chin, pushed him away and continued to walk forward, "Teacher Wei, as a teacher, don't think about such wild things as field battles."

Wei Chi followed him, "Actually, I am a wild teacher."

Xiao Yanwei was teased by him again and couldn't stop laughing, "Wei Chi."

"What's wrong?" Wei Chi asked.

Xiao Yanwei laughed again, and waited until he was out of breath before saying, "If I had known you a few years earlier, I would have had a really good time with you."

"Huh?" Wei Chi raised his eyebrows, "How many years ago? Can't you play well with me now?"

Xiao Yanwei glanced at him, "If I had known you a few years ago, we would definitely not be able to get together."

They had already walked to the side of the small pond while they were talking. Wei Chi was right, the water had already melted.

Wei Chi squatted beside Xiaochi, "I don't think what you said is right."

"What's wrong?" Xiao Yanwei squatted beside him and asked.

Wei Chi looked at him, stretched out his hand to stir the water in the pool, the water rippled, spread out, hit the stone wall and then slowly rippled back.

"Xiao Yanwei," Wei Chi said, "I will like you no matter when I meet you."

It was almost noon when the two of them went down the mountain, Xiao Yanwei pulled out a few dumplings left over from the New Year from the refrigerator, and cooked them in a pot.

There were not a few left in total, Xiao Yanwei fished out half of the plate and it was not full, neither of them had chopsticks, so you and I ate each other.

Xiao Yanwei leaned against the high table in the kitchen, holding the plate in one hand, and handing the dumpling to his mouth with the other, "I must have made this dumpling."

Wei Chi stood facing him, with one arm around his waist, turned his head to grab the dumplings from Xiao Yanwei, "Didn't you cook them for me?"

Xiao Yan didn't pay attention to let him snatch it away, "Well, it's for you, get rid of the dumplings."

Wei Chi hugged his waist and squeezed, "I don't want to get lost."

Xiao Yan raised his head without looking at him.

Wei Chi understood and leaned over to kiss him.

The kitchen was well lit, the door was open, and the sun was pouring in warmly. Xiao Yanwei was held between Wei Chi's arms and the table, and he raised his head to respond to Wei Chi.

Wei Chi's movements were still gentle and his body was warm, Xiao Yanwei felt like a stone in warm water.

Wei Chi is the water in the pond.

He was tightly wrapped by Wei Chi, and drifted with Wei Chi's movements. When Wei Chi's strength was strong, his heart beat rapidly, and Wei Chi's strength was weak, and he felt reluctant to give up.

The two kissed for a while, Xiao Yanwei squeezed a dumpling and handed it to Wei Chi's mouth, "Teacher Wei, have a good trip."

Wei Chi opened his mouth to pick up the dumpling, "Are you coming to pick me up on Friday?"

Xiao Yan nodded, "Pick you up."

He turned back and put the plate on the table, "Let's go."

On the third day after Wei Chi left, Yao Sheng's family also left.

The liveliness of the Chinese New Year disappeared from the village, and once those who went home to celebrate the New Year left, the village quickly grew old again.

Xiao Yanwei helped Yao Sheng move the things to the truck body, and stood quietly watching.

Lao Yao hugged Yao Dabao, kept stroking his head, put him down after a while, and waved to Yao Sheng, "Don't miss the bus."

Yao Sheng responded and waved to Yao Dabao. Yao Dabao walked towards his parents step by step.

"Go Dabao," Lao Yao said with a smile, "make a video call for Grandpa when we arrive."

Yao Dabao nodded with his mouth pursed, and Lao Yao said again, "Study hard, you will have a bright future in college."

Yao Dabao was not very happy, "I will also go to school in the capital tomorrow."

"Okay," Lao Yao smiled, "go to the capital."

After he finished speaking, he looked at Xiao Yanwei who was standing beside him, "I will play with your Brother Xiao then."

Xiao Yan didn't go over, knelt down and hugged Yao Dabao, "We can't be so loud when we get to school, it scares the little girl so that she won't be able to find a wife."

Yao Dabao hugged his neck with a red face, "I don't have a loud voice."

"Well," Xiao Yanwei rubbed the braid on his head, "not too big."

Xiao Yanwei hugged him for a while, stood up and waved his hands, "Goodbye, Dabao."

Yao Dabao also said goodbye, turned his head to look at Lao Yao after finishing speaking, and said after a long time, "Grandpa, I will be back after summer vacation."

Lao Yao lowered his head, his voice was muddy, "Yes."

Yao Sheng came over and picked up Yao Dabao and put him on the car. Yao Dabao shrank into his mother's arms, his eyes still staring at Lao Yao.

Yao Sheng looked at him and said to Lao Yao, "Let's go, Dad."

Lao Yao waved his hand at him, but didn't speak.

Yao Sheng looked at Xiao Yanwei again, hesitant to speak.

Xiao Yanwei smiled, "Go Shengzi, I'm with Teacher Wei."

Yao Sheng said thank you in a low voice, and sat in the back of the cart, leaning on several big bundles, without looking back.

Er Ma asked in front if he could go, and Yao Sheng responded.

The road in front of Lao Yao's house was still unrepaired, and the tricycle didn't start fast, but it still brought up a choking dust.

Those dust particles are very small, and they look very dense in the sun, flying and mixed between the distant tricycle and the dilapidated fence of Lao Yao's house.

Lao Yao stood hunched over in the dust, facing the direction of the tricycle without moving.

When Lao Yao turned around and walked into the yard, Xiao Yan did not hear Yao Dabao's hoarse cry.

Lao Yao's shoulders shook, but he didn't look back.

Xiao Yanwei walked up to him and hugged him, "Uncle Yao."

Lao Yao patted him on the shoulder with his hand back, "Go clean."

Xiao Yan didn't look back, Yao Sheng was looking this way with his arms on the bucket, his expression couldn't be seen clearly, but he didn't sit back until the car was out of sight.

Lao Yao's eyes were no longer so bright, Xiao Yan didn't feel that there was water shining inside, but in the blink of an eye, it seemed like nothing happened.

In this place surrounded by mountains, the happiest thing is the New Year, and the saddest thing is also the New Year.

This dusty dirt road has sent out many people's children, some of them are running for their livelihood, and some are climbing towards higher places.

When the younger generation walks on the road, there will always be someone standing at the end of the dust.

When you were young, your eyes followed the figure of your father, and when you grow up, your father sees you off.

But maybe all the fathers in the world are not very good at expressing emotions. They are so looking forward to their son's return, but they still insist on saying it after he leaves.

"Go clean."

The dust on the road fell again, and the dilapidated path in the mountain village returned to tranquility.

Lao Yao still didn't come home.

There may be many people in this world who love you, but the only one who misses you forever and advises you to go out is only Dad.
