Chapter 11

On a new day, the rain stopped, and the woman who came to visit in the ward put down a bottle of forget-me-nots on the bedside. The light blue flowers set off the patient's eyes as blue as if tears should be blue.

"You got a new slave? He looks like a child." He said behind the woman, and she looked back. "Who are you talking about?"

The blond patient frowned: "Are you kidding? Isn't there a guy with black hair standing behind you who looks like he ran out of some...weird painting? Who is your new assistant?"

She raised her eyebrows, "I think it's time to call a doctor to scan your brain, maybe there are still remaining problems."

"Morgana!"

"Don't make too much noise in the hospital." Morgana rolled her eyes. "I admit he looks young, but he's an annoying age like you, honey."

The dark-haired "boy" snickered, and was let to the bed by the woman. "Hi," he said, "I'm glad you're recovering enough to be annoying."

"Do I know you?" The patient wrinkled the skin around the eyes and leaned back to get a better view of the person.

The other smiled, revealing the dimples in his cheeks, and Arthur thought his smile was even more childish. He held out his hand. "Merlin, hello Arthur."

Arthur stared at his hand, very slender and beautiful fingers, "Merlin?" Then he stretched out his hand to hold it, "Did we meet somewhere?"

"God Arthur," Morgana said through the crack of the door, "you can do better." She closed the door.

Merlin grinned as he watched Arthur's face glaring at the door.
