Yanshi replied calmly: "This is not a real person, this is a wooden armor artist I made."

King Mu of Zhou couldn't help being surprised. Looking carefully, he found that the wooden armor man was so lifelike!No matter how he advances and retreats, raises his head, or lowers his head, it seems that he is really a living person!

King Mu of Zhou wanted him to sing, and it was completely in line; he asked him to dance.King Mu of Zhou was amazed, and immediately called his concubines happily to watch his performance.Just when the performance was about to end, the wooden armor artist blinked and seduced King Zhou Mu's beautiful concubine.

King Zhou Mu couldn't help being furious, and reprimanded Yanshi: "I thought it was really a wooden armor man! It turns out that he just found a real person to paste wooden skins on, trying to use it as a miracle to deceive me, the emperor?"

In order to clear up his doubts, Yanshi dismantled the wooden armor man on the spot and let King Mu of Zhou take a closer look.

King Mu of Zhou discovered that he was really made of wood, leather armor, lacquer and other materials, whether it was liver, gallbladder, heart, lung, spleen, kidney, intestine, stomach, tendons, bones, branches, fur, teeth, etc. Wait, it's all artificial.

But in fact, this is just an original scientific fantasy fable created by Liezi on the basis of scientific development during the Warring States Period.

In the fable, the advocate of a song and dance actor assembled from artificial materials not only looks exactly like a real person, can sing and dance, but also has thoughts, feelings, and even lust.

The fantasy in the fable utilizes the scientific and technological achievements of the Warring States Period at that time, and takes the development of science and technology at that time as the starting point.Its deep implication is to discuss the skills advocated by the representatives of Mohism at that time.
