Agath

Chapter 1

"I hear what others can't hear, and see what others can't see. These senses come from long-standing longings, longings to be saved, longings to be fulfilled."

(One)

The boy walked barefoot through the garden, and large white roses bloomed at his feet.He nimbly ran to the grass, bypassed several decorative boulders, and climbed up the big tree in the courtyard very skillfully. The sun shines through the gaps in the branches and leaves, casting a mottled silhouette on the boy's face.Probably because he ran too fast, thick drops of sweat oozed from his forehead, wet a few strands of soft dark brown hair hanging down.

In the shadow of a branch, a light gold box lay quietly. It was tied with a dark red ribbon, which had been knotted in an elaborate knot.

"Ah, I found you." The boy jumped onto the branch, untied the ribbon carefully, and opened the box.To his surprise, there was nothing in the box as he had imagined. In other words, there is nothing here except a key that looks quite old.

"Did you forget?" the boy said to himself. He glanced at the delicate box in disappointment, took out the key inside, and put it on his neck.He lowered his head, only to see several blisters on his feet, presumably because he was only thinking about finding this "mysterious gift" just now, so he didn't feel any pain at all.

"Tsk." The boy took out a beautifully crafted knife from his pocket, and cut each of the blisters expressionlessly. "Pfft", the squeezed blisters deflated one by one.
