Chapter 49 Pansy
The next morning, the wound on Jacqueline's arm was still bleeding, and she finally went to the school infirmary under Pansy's nagging.
"You should have come here sooner." Madam Pomfrey yelled loudly after seeing Jacqueline's wound, and hurriedly searched around in the cabinet, "You came here last night, I didn't even need a second to help you." You're healed." She said, taking out a box of plasters and a bandage, "It's all right now, you have to put on a bandage. I guess you won't be healed for two or three days. It's okay," she said toward Jacqueline waved her hand, "Stop wasting time here, go to class now."
"To be honest," Jacqueline said softly to Pansy as she walked out of the school infirmary, "it's Sunday, and we don't actually have classes."
"She's not wrong." Pansy raised her eyebrows and looked at the bandage on Jacqueline's forearm. "Why didn't you come to the school infirmary last night?"
"I thought Malfoy's magic wouldn't do me much harm." Jacqueline shrugged.
"I think Mr. Malfoy taught him a few things about the Dark Arts."
"Pansy," Jacqueline looked at Pansy depressedly, "why didn't you say so earlier?"
"Because," Pansy shrugged like Jacqueline, "I thought you knew."
"Pansy..." Jacqueline shook her head and walked into the restaurant.Coming to the long table in Slytherin, most people had a large badge pinned to the front of their robes.
"Is this a new club?" Jacqueline sat on the edge of the long Slytherin table, picked up a fork with her left hand, and took some sausages, "I can't write notes with my hands for a few days."
"I won't help you take notes." Pansy smiled and shook her head, "But maybe you can ask that..."
"Jacqueline Graham!" A sharp voice sounded in front of Jacqueline, and Hermione appeared in front of them, blushing like a howling letter. She threw seven Galleons in front of Jacqueline. The Galleons bounced on the table a few times and fell into Jacqueline's bowl.Standing next to her was Ron, reluctantly staring at the gold coins on the table. "Take back your stinky money, we don't need it!"
"Actually," Ron whispered aside, "I kind of need it."
"Ron!" Hermione screamed.
"Hermione Granger!" Pansy slapped the long table and stood up abruptly, "Don't go too far!"
"Hey, Jacqueline." A pale voice sounded beside Jacqueline, and Jacqueline looked up. It was Malfoy and his two followers, Zabini and Millicent. "It seems that there is a Mudblood who doesn't appreciate it. However, we made a badge just for you." Malfoy said, pointing with his wand to a round green badge pinned to his chest, which reads One word, "Hermione".
"That's more than that," Malfoy said, pressing the badge, which read "Mudblood."
"How about it?" Malfoy turned and sneered at Hermione, "That's great."
The Slytherins roared with laughter, and they pressed their badges one by one, and all the "Mudbloods" lit up.Surrounded by green light, Jacqueline stared at Jin Jialong in front of her, blushing, and tightly grasped the fork in her hand.
"That's interesting." Hermione squeezed the words out of her teeth, with tears in her eyes, "You guys." She quickly ran out of the restaurant.
"Draco Malfoy." Ron took out his wand from under his robes, pointed at Malfoy, "You..."
"Oh, oh, isn't this Ron? Weasley?" Malfoy looked at Ron's wand contemptuously, "You're still using this broken wand, let me think, I guess you're going to let Am I going to eat slugs?"
"Enough." Before Ron could answer, Jacqueline slowly raised her head, "Ron, go back to your table."
"Are you like them too? Jacqueline!" roared Ron. "Do you think they're like that too?"
"This is about Slytherin House." Jacqueline pressed her fork to the table and lowered her voice, "Don't be a Gryffindor meddling in your business."
"We thought you were different," growled Ron. "At least Hermione thought so!"
"Unfortunately," Jacqueline pursed her lips and picked up the fork again, "I let her down."
"Did something happen here?" A mellow and transparent voice came from beside them, Jacqueline looked up, then quickly lowered her head, clutching the fork tightly, trembling slightly.
"Professor Graham." Ron said quickly, "They, they say Hermione is a..."
"I see." Yuna nodded, "Five points deducted from Gryffindor."
"What!" Ron looked up in disbelief, "Professor, you..."
"Anyway, it's against school rules to cast spells on other students in the house, Mr. Weasley," Una explained. "You should be thankful you didn't, or I'd put you in detention. As for Mr. Malfoy,"
Yuna turned her head and looked at Malfoy, who was proudly puffing out her chest, "Since Professor Snape has punished you by confinement, I won't pursue it anymore, but," she said, paused, and looked Glancing at Jacqueline next to her, "I will write to your father to let Mr. Malfoy know about it. Well, if there is nothing else, you should go back to have breakfast. Jacqueline,"
Yuna said and walked to Jacqueline's side, "Come with me, I want to discuss with you about your confinement."
"Yes, Professor." Jacqueline muttered hoarsely, lowered her head, and followed Yuna out.
"Jacqueline," Yuna led Jacqueline into a long teacher's lounge full of old chairs that don't match up, and pulled out the chair, "less than a month since the start of school, three confinement, you Can you explain it?"
"It's not my fault!" Jacqueline raised her head, her eyes were red, and she roared in a low voice, "I didn't do anything wrong!"
"Really?" Yuna frowned dissatisfied, "The first confinement was because you left the classroom without the professor's permission. The second confinement was because you cast a spell on Ron. The third time Lockdown is because you cast a spell on Draco in the Slytherin common room. Please tell me, Jacqueline, what did you do right?"
"They called her a Mudblood!" Jacqueline yelled loudly, and several portraits on the wall began to whisper dissatisfiedly.
"Mudblood? Words like that..."
"If I ask you, a Muggle child shouldn't be..."
"But, sir, a word like that shouldn't be..."
"Jacqueline." Yuna looked at Jacqueline, whose eyes were red like a rabbit, and pointed to the chair in front of her. "Please sit down."
Jacqueline snorted and sat down in a chair.
"First of all, your behavior has violated the school rules. If Professor Snape and I hadn't shown mercy, you would have caused Slytherin to be deducted at least 15 points. Secondly, please tell me, the tenth rule of Graham's ancestral precepts What is it?"
"By force can never solve a problem." Jacqueline sniffed and said in a low voice.
"Please speak louder."
"By force can never solve a problem." Jacqueline raised her voice slightly, her eyes still filled with tears.
"Repeat again."
"By force can never solve a problem." Jacqueline sat on the chair, shrugged her nose, a little uneasy.
"Very good." Yuna nodded, stood up, and walked out, "Since you know you were wrong, come to my office at eight o'clock tonight."
"But, professor..." Jacqueline stood up, her brows still frowning.
"You can't control other people's behavior, Jacqueline. Also, don't forget No.12." Yuna said, and disappeared.
"The more angry you are, the more calm you should be." Jacqueline muttered in a low voice, pushed open the door of the teachers' lounge, and walked towards the dining room.
"Hey," after feeling someone sitting next to her, Pansy looked up from her Potions class book and glanced at Jacqueline who was devouring it, "I feel that you are in a much better mood."
"I've already had Malfoy bothering me, and I'd be a fool if I couldn't handle my own stomach."
"Put away your Galleons." Pansy took out seven gold coins from his pocket and put them on the table. "After dinner, where do you want to go?"
"Well," Jacqueline thought for a while, "I want to go back to the lounge to do my homework, but..." Thinking of that password and Malfoy's badge, Jacqueline frowned in disgust.
"That's right." Pansy closed the potions textbook, "I need to go to the library to look up some information for my thesis, you can come with me. Or, if you happen to finish writing, you can borrow me to copy it."
"Don't think about Pansy." Jacqueline shook her head and put down the fork in her hand. "Let's go, Pansy. Also," Jacqueline pursed her lips, "Thank you, Pansy."
"Don't make me regret it." Pansy winked at her. "Jacqueline."
"no way."
