"Why are you standing here?" Green suddenly came over and asked.

"I'm just doing what I should be doing. Not everyone is as free as you." Edgar said with a wry smile, "But you, why are you here?"

"Frankly speaking, I was just passing by. Of course I admit that I passed by here on purpose, out of curiosity." Green said, "The people below are all guessing what happened, and some guesses are outrageous. So I plan to pass by myself. Look, I heard that your parents have always been very close."

"It's nothing special. Quarreling is something that happens in every marriage, even if they are a model couple." Edgar said politely.

"Oh, then I hope I'm an exception," Green said, standing beside Edgar.

Edgar glanced at him. Boys who have just fallen in love have such a good hope, and everyone feels that they will be the only lucky one.

"If it is the person I love, I will love her with everything I have, no matter what the cost." Green's eyes are shining, "I am willing to give in to anything, even if it is not me who is wrong."

"I wish you the best of luck finding that man, you sound like you'd be a great husband," Edgar said sincerely.Regardless of Green's character, at least for now, Edgar could see that he was serious.

"I've found it." Green suddenly grabbed Edgar's wrist and said.

"Huh?" Edgar tried his best to keep the coffee in the cup from spilling out.

"Edgar, I lied. The reason why I came up is not because of my curiosity, but because of my father."

"So?" What does this have to do with me?Edgar thought about this sentence silently in his heart, but did not say it.

"I want to find a chance to have a good talk with you, actually I think you should have guessed it." Green blushed, as if mustering up a lot of courage, "First of all, I'm sorry if what I said hurt you. But I'm not going to quit, and if you think I'm a mean person, so be it."

"I don't really understand." Edgar was getting more and more confused about the meaning of Green's words.

"I found the love of my life, Catherine." Green said, looking up at Edgar.

"Oh."

"Why are you so calm?" Seeing Edgar's reaction, Green was stunned.

"Well, then shall I bless you?"

"But, I took your fiancée away!" Green was about to shout in confusion.

"I think you misunderstood something. Catherine is just my neighbor." Edgar was a little surprised by the news, but not particularly surprised. These days, Green's hospitality to Catherine is something that everyone can see.But Edgar didn't expect Green to tell him so solemnly, and regarded himself as an imaginary enemy.

Not long ago, Edgar felt that if Catherine had a marriage contract with someone else, he might collapse.But after experiencing a series of things later, he suddenly felt that his persistence was a bit ridiculous.That kid, his little Kate, probably really shouldn't have come.

"Compared to this, Catherine's opinion is the most important." Edgar reminded.Once he figured it out, everything would become much easier, and he could even speak easily with a smile on his face.

"Before that, I asked Catherine, and I confirmed that she loves me." Green's face seemed a little strange, but he didn't hesitate when he said this.

"But you look like something is shattered now." Edgar said.
