[Zongmeiying] Soul Mate

Chapter 2 Bella and Edward

Forks is a small town with a population of just over 3000, and even in summer, there is not much sunlight here.

Although there is no real blood relationship, Angela and his parents are very good to Carrie, and are very grateful to Elizabeth for her help.Ever since they heard about Carrie's crazy mother, they felt sorry for the well-behaved Carrie and often contacted her. This was the second time they had invited Carrie to their house.

Their house was small but clean and welcoming, and Angela and Carrie shared a room, and Elizabeth had a separate room, which was great, at least she didn't have to bother explaining the writing on her arm.

After settling the far guest, Angela's parents took their young son and left.

Elizabeth likes this small town. Although there is a lot of rain, the rain here is very gentle, dense trees can be seen everywhere, and the air is exceptionally clean. It's a pity that there were terrible beasts in the forest, and Angela seriously warned them not to go to the forest to take pictures.

On this day, Elizabeth, Carrie and Angela's friends had dinner at a restaurant in town.

Angela is a cute and kind girl. She is tall and wears glasses. It would be very beautiful if she took them off, but Elizabeth didn't want to rashly guide others' dressing style.

Her boyfriend, Eric, is funny, warm-hearted, always trying to make sure everyone is taken care of, and constantly picking up the conversation. He has been trying to communicate with Carrie and seems to want to please his girlfriend's family. Elizabeth has met him several times shortly after settling down, and they are already very familiar.

Today's new friends are a boy named Mike and a lively girl named Jessica. Mike is the typical sunny boy who is very attentive to Elizabeth. And Jessica—seems to have thoughts about Mike, and has been talking to Elizabeth, trying to get Mike's attention.

The restaurant is small, but the atmosphere is very warm. It seems that people at every table can say hello to each other. Elizabeth likes this scene very much.

Just then a police officer and a slender girl entered.

"Hey, Bella! Good afternoon, Sheriff Charlie!" The sharp-eyed Angela greeted first, and they walked over.

Only then did Elizabeth see the girl clearly. She was very pale, with a soft face, and the thick chocolate-colored hair set her off even more. There were some blemishes on her face that did not meet the aesthetic standards, but they were in harmony with her temperament. Form a strange beauty.

"Good afternoon, children." The sheriff looked at Elizabeth and Carrie hesitantly.

"Hello Sheriff, Carrie and I are visiting Angela's house. My name is Elizabeth." Yi Li greeted happily.

"Hello, please be safe, I hope you have a good time in Forks!" Sheriff Charlie is obviously not good at words, his tone of response is a bit cramped, but his eyes are very gentle "Bella, maybe you can join your friends , I can pack it."

"Charlie, you're in a hurry to go back to watch the football game again" the girl gently accused, at this time Mike introduced to Elizabeth that Bella was Charlie's daughter, who was in the same grade as them.

"Come on, Bella, you've only been playing with the Karen kids since graduation, we haven't been together for a long time," Eric said loudly.

"Go Bella, get together with other friends too" Charlie urged her in a low voice, Bella bit her lip and hesitated, and finally walked over gently, Mike actively dragged a chair for her, so Bella Sitting just across from Elizabeth, Charlie turned and walked towards the counter.

"We ordered a lot of food, you're welcome, Bella." Jessica's tone had a false enthusiasm that made Elizabeth faintly smile. The poor girl had enough vinegar for the day.

"Hello, Bella, my name is Elizabeth, Elizabeth Alva, my friends call me Lisa." "My name is Carrie, Carrie White."

"Hello, I'm Isabella Swan, just call me Bella, and Charlie is my father." They exchanged friendly names, and after this episode, they happily spent the rest of the dinner time.

By the time they left the restaurant, the sky was already getting dark, and the night breeze in Fox was quite cool. Elizabeth was chatting with other people while wrapping up her coat.Jessica held Bella affectionately, and they were not on the same path with Bella, so the boys were going to send her back, and Jessica also offered to follow.

Suddenly, a car parked in the dark turned on its headlights and turned on. This is a very beautiful Volvo. The door couldn't wait to open as soon as it stopped. A boy with bronze hair got out of the car in a hurry but gracefully. .

"Good evening" he greeted without emotion, glanced at everyone in a hurry, and never took his eyes off Bella. Elizabeth found that the nervous and cramped expression that Bella always had was touching her. The moment of the boy disappeared in an instant, they looked at each other tacitly, and Bella smiled unconsciously.

"Good evening, Edward, are you here to pick up Bella?" Angela responded with a smile.

The beautiful boy quickly walked over to hold Bella's hand, and gently and firmly pulled her from Jessica's side back into his arms. Bella introduced Elizabeth and Carrie to him, and they greeted him.

For some reason, Carrie looked uneasy, and kept staring at Edward with some impoliteness, but Edward deliberately avoided Carrie's gaze.

Edward, the name is similar to Eduardo. Elizabeth was in a daze, never expecting to meet such a delicate and beautiful person in this small town. He was surprisingly pale in the night, and his bright yellow eyes were piercing.

Returning to the room a little later, Elizabeth wiped her hair after taking a shower, thinking of Edward and Bella she met today. The way they stared at each other was very familiar to her. Her parents used to look at each other like this... I hope they can have a good ending.

After talking on the phone with her cousin Eduardo, who is 5 years older than herself, Elizabeth went to bed early because she thought of going to La Push Beach tomorrow.

They set off for the beach early in the morning the next day. It was a rare sunny day, and the sun set a circle of gold on the beach. Although La Push Beach is not vast, it is also beautiful.

"Bella was kidnapped by Edward again." Jessica complained happily while staring at Mike, Carrie sat on the beach with Elizabeth on her arm, and the two boys carried picnic supplies from the car one after another

A group of boys suddenly appeared in the distance, they were playing around, and they looked very strong.

"Are these the aborigines from the nearby reserve?" Carrie asked suddenly.

"Yes, the Quileutes." Angela replied.

"Then we can't go there casually." Carrie touched Elizabeth worriedly, as if she wanted to make sure she was still there.

"What, do you think they are some kind of dangerous organization?" Jessica was amused.

"Their boys are very big, but as long as they don't deliberately provoke them, these children are very well behaved." Angela said comfortingly.

"There are legends that the ancestors of the Quileutes were wolves, according to history—" Elizabeth mentioned enthusiastically.

"Do you still believe in these things, werewolves, witches, and vampires?" Jessica interrupted contemptuously. "I thought girls in big cities wouldn't be so superstitious."

"If they existed, maybe this world would be more interesting." Elizabeth said with a smile. After all, a line of magical words would never appear on Jessica's wrist. It is normal for her not to believe in supernatural powers. Elizabeth was not impressed by her tone Exasperated, but Carrie looked offended and wanted to argue, obviously she did not like Elizabeth to be offended.

"The fire is ready girls, it's time to roast marshmallows!" At this moment, Eric happily yelled and interrupted the conversation.

"It's been a long time since I ate s'mores," Elizabeth gently squeezed Carrie's hand, "Can you bake it for me, Carrie? You know, I'm not very good at anything that has to do with fire."

"Of course" Carrie's attention was diverted all of a sudden.

In the joyful atmosphere by the fire, Elizabeth watched the group of boys, and found that they seemed to have similar tattoos. They wrestled with each other, and the extent of their fights made Elizabeth feel strange. This level of body movements is likely to cause serious damage. Hurt, but they don't even seem to be in pain.

"Lisa, what are you looking at? It's okay, let's not go there." Carrie said softly.

"It's nothing, it's just that I've never seen boys play like this before," Elizabeth replied with a smile.

"Bella has a good friend named Jack, who is from Quileut. If you want to go to the reserve, you can ask Bella to take you there," Angela suggested, holding Eric on his arm.

"There's nothing to go." Carrie's complexion suddenly turned pale, and her tone became stiff. Elizabeth had never seen her like this before, so she hurriedly comforted her, "I don't want to go, I'm just talking casually."

"It's not safe. I just want you to be safe." Carrie turned her head and stared deeply at Elizabeth, which made Elizabeth a little helpless, and finally could only smile at her.
