“You guys go first. I’ll sit for a while longer,” said the Blood Beast Sect leader softly with a hint of loneliness as she shook her head.

“Sect Leader, are you still thinking about the sect’s holy relic?” asked the elder asked.

The Blood Beast Sect leader sighed and nodded.

“Sect Leader, the search for our Blood Beast Sect’s holy relic has been going on for thousands of years by successive sect leaders, but none had ever found it. So, you don’t have to be in a hurry.” The elder saw her loneliness and comforted her.

“How can I not be in a hurry? Ever since I was driven out of the Sacred Realm of the Sects, our Blood Beast Sect’s strength has been declining with each generation. Although we’re in a remote corner now, who knows when those sects will come knocking on our door?

“I’m already 279 years old this year. My strength has already reached its limit, and so has my lifespan. I’ve already reached the point where I’m at the end of my life. I’m afraid I don’t have much time left. The day they come knocking on our door is most likely the day our sect ends,” said the Blood Beast Sect leader sorrowfully.

“Sect Leader, perhaps such a threat is truly the fate of Blood Beast Sect. Please, don’t make things even more difficult for yourself.” An elder advised.

“I am not making things difficult for myself. Back then, that benefactor once said the holy relic will reappear that sixteen years later, and it will also be the time for us to revitalize the Blood Beast Sect.

“And this bracelet is the clue our benefactor left for us. Through this bracelet, we should be able to find the sect’s holy relic. But, it’s almost been sixteen years, so hasn’t anything happened yet? Did something go wrong somewhere? What secret does this bracelet contain?” asked the Blood Beast Sect’s Sect leader in distress.

“Sect Leader, could it be that benefactor was wrong?” An elder probed.

“How impudent! Third Elder, you dare to doubt the words of the benefactor? You’ve seen the benefactor’s supreme divine powers with your own eyes. If it wasn’t for the benefactor, our Blood Beast Sect would have long been reduced to ashes. How could we still exist today?” the Blood Beast Sect leader’s expression changed as she reprimanded them.

“Sect Leader, please calm down. I definitely do not doubt the strength of the benefactor. However, I still find it hard to believe. Who can confidently say what will happen after sixteen years?” The elder’s voice became softer as he spoke. Clearly, he was afraid to further anger the sect leader.

“Sixteen years is nothing. There are countless extraordinary people in this world. It is not surprising even if one were to predict what would happen a thousand years later.” The Blood Beast Sect leader was no longer angry. As the sect leader of the Blood Beast Sect, she knew more secrets than others. She also knew that this world was not as simple as this elder thought.

“Isn’t that impossible?” The elder’s mouth was wide open in surprise.

“I can only tell you that our benefactor is not from the same world as us,” said the sect leader of the Blood Beast Sect indifferently.

“Sect Leader, do you mean that the benefactor came from another dimension?” The elders stared at the sect master in disbelief.

The Blood Beast Sect leader nodded slowly and said, “You must not let outsiders know about this.”

“Yes, Sect Leader,” replied the elders solemnly. Back then, the six great races had a huge war and formed a blood feud. If people knew that their benefactor came from another world, it might bring them great trouble.

“Alright, let’s not talk about this anymore. As long as you know that your benefactor’s words are absolute, you will do well to restrain your disciples during this period of time and cultivate diligently. I’m afraid that I don’t have much time left. In the future, the Blood Beast Sect will have to rely on you.” said the Blood Beast Sect leader as she waved her hand.
