Father Jiang and the others were worried, especially Jiang Duo. After his grandfather took that “pill,” he still felt some regret. He was afraid that this pill would have some side effects.

As soon as Grandpa Jiang took the “pill,” he felt a wave of heat spread throughout his limbs and bones; it was a very comfortable sensation. He had taken many pills before, prescribed by all sorts of famous and authoritative doctors, but the only thing he felt when he took those pills was an increased burden on his body.

On the other hand, after eating the medicine which Ah Duo had brought back, he didn’t know if it was a psychological effect, but he felt much better. His itchy throat also felt much better, and his body felt very comfortable. Also, he especially liked the herbal fragrance; the more he smelled it, the more comfortable he felt. However, the old man felt that it had to be a psychological effect. How could medicine be so magical?

Grandpa Jiang’s voice was much stronger than before. “Grandpa is fine! Good kid!”

Father Jiang and the others heaved huge sighs of relief. Seeing that Jiang Duo was still holding the water and had yet to give it to his father, Father Jiang was about to open his mouth.

Grandpa Jiang said coldly, “Okay, stop scolding Ah Duo!”

Old Master Jiang was usually very authoritative. Since his father had said so, Father Jiang didn’t dare continue scolding his son.

After Grandpa Jiang and Father Jiang left, Mother Jiang, who also knew that her son was usually unreliable, hurriedly said, “Ah Duo, where on earth did you buy that medicine for your grandfather? You can’t buy any random thing. Did you clearly explain your grandfather’s condition to the doctor?”

If something really happened to the old man because of Ah Duo’s medicine, Mother Jiang didn’t dare imagine the consequences.

Jiang Duo also felt twitchy. Although he saw that his grandfather’s complexion had improved a bit, he was still a little worried that his grandfather would suffer bad effects from eating that medicine.

Although the shady shop owner said that the medicine wouldn’t kill anyone, would someone who sold medicine that was fake or had side effects honestly tell customers that it was fake?

Jiang Duo really regretted taking out the pills in a fit of pique just now. He thought of Lu Yunfeng; initially, he was going to tell him about his grandfather’s illness and how his grandfather had taken a pill.

After Jiang Duo returned to his room, he didn’t reply to Lu Yunfeng’s message. He felt that he was definitely finished. If something happened to his grandfather, his father definitely wouldn’t spare him. The more Jiang Duo thought about it, the more regret he felt, and the more he wanted to cry.

Also, his grandfather was so good to him. What if he harmed his grandfather with fake medicine just because he quarreled with his father?

Jiang Duo hadn’t thought of how serious the matter was, but now, the more he thought about it, the more uneasy he felt.
