My Youth Began With Him

"Aren't you a greedy one? You want me to drive you for the rest of your life…"

"What? Is that too long for you?" Huo Mian pouted.

"No, one life isn't enough for me. We need to be together in the afterlife as well…"

"Okay, Mr. Qin. We are in public."

"So, Mrs. Qin, let's go home for dinner."

Huo Mian happily opened the car door and got on.

When the two got home, everybody was waiting.

"Mommy, you're back. I love you…" Little Bean ran up to her and purred.

Pudding caringly took her purse and brought her slippers.

Huo Mian suddenly felt warm inside her heart.

Home was indeed the warmest harbor.

"Mian's back, let's eat…"

Her in-laws were working busily in the kitchen.

"Mommy, Grandpa and Grandma hired a chartered boat and went out to sea today," Little Bean let her into the secret.

"Wow, that's cool." Huo Mian smiled.

"Yep, so we're going to have a great dinner," Little Bean said in a mysterious tone.

It was strange that Huo Mian's seafood-loving trait did not pass onto the twins.

So, Huo Mian hadn't eaten seafood in a while.

After getting pregnant, she rarely ate seafood.

So, once she heard that they went out to sea and there was plenty of food, her first thought was seafood.

Of course, when she entered the dining room, she saw ten plates of seafood. There was crab, shrimp, abalone, sea cucumbers, and everything she could think of.

"Wow, what's the occasion? My birthday is in a few days, why did you think about eating seafood out of the blue?"

Huo Mian was surprised.

"We want to, we don't have to wait until your birthday." Qin Chu hugged her shoulder.

"Daddy, stop showing off… We're your daughters…" Little Bean's voice was sweet.

It made everybody laugh.

Qin Chu's dad slowly said, "Chu said that it's fine for you to eat seafood once in a while. Mom made brown sugar ginger tea for you."

"Thank you Dad, thank you Mom." Huo Mian looked deeply moved.

"Mommy, sit. I'll get shrimp for you."

Pudding silently pulled out the chair and Huo Mian carefully sat down.

The loving atmosphere warmed her heart.

She didn't care about how much money she had, as long as she was happily with her family, that was enough for her.

Huo Mian wasn't obsessed with brands, and even if she wasn't rich and didn't live in a billion-dollar mansion, she would still be happy.

Qin Chu sat next to her and picked out crab meat for her.

The couple chit chatted…

Huo Mian didn't say anything about Zeng Rou.

She was smart enough to know not to bring up Su Yu too much in front of her in-laws.

The twins' conversation entertained everyone.

"Mommy, did you know that someone at school likes Pudding?"

"Pff… Look how old you guys are…"

"It's not related to age. Pudding concluded that it's related to our wealth. He probably wants to leech off of us."

"Hahaha, that's a thing?" Huo Mian laughed while eating a crab leg.

"Well, Miss Qin, you're my daughter too. Does anyone like you?" Qin Chu purposefully asked Little Bean.
