"Help me! Help me! He's trying to kill me. Call the police!" Liu Ze screamed out in panic.

"What are you talking about? Weren't you the one who told me to come? You were talking about Huo…"

"Help!" After a final scream, Liu Ze's eyes closed shut and he fainted on the ground.

Su Yu swallowed the rest of his sentence; he realized that he had been set up.

If he couldn't mention Huo Mian's name before, he certainly wasn't going to now…

At the sight of Liu Ze fainting, Su Yu turned around, only to find four paramedics rushing towards them.

"It wasn't me," he tried to explain.

The paramedics stepped back in fear after seeing Su Yu's gaze…

"It really wasn't me."

"Murderers never admit to their killings and drunk drivers never admit to their alcoholism," a male doctor said coldly. "Let's just save Doctor Liu first. It looks like he's been heavily wounded."

"Okay."

After the paramedics carried Liu Ze downstairs, Su Yu followed them down as well but was stopped by the incoming police cars.

"Su Yu, why are you here?" Gao Ran was surprised to see Su Yu.

"I…" Su Yu wanted to explain but found it difficult.

"We received news that there's been a case of intentional and malicious injury. I was on shift so I came here to check out what happened. Why are you here?" Gao Ran looked more than confused.

A lightbulb went off in Su Yu's head. He whispered to Gao Ran, "I think… I've been set up."

"You got set up?" Gao Ran was even more confused.

"I'll explain it to you later."

"You're the suspect?" Gao Ran suddenly realized what was going on.

Su Yu nodded.

"What?! That makes this complicated…"

"It's okay. Just do your job. You can't make exceptions in front of all of these people." Su Yu was very understanding.

"But…" Although Gao Ran wasn't the best of friends with Su Yu, he knew the man quite well because of his relationship with Huo Mian and Qin Chu; they often ate together.

He knew very well what Su Yu was like, he wouldn't do such a thing and then try to lie about being set up.

"Let me ask you. Do you know the man who got hurt?" Gao Ran asked quietly.

"I don't know him but he seems to know me."

"That's very interesting…" Gao Ran agreed that something was up.

The crowd was getting bigger and bigger, even gaining the attention of the press.

"Sorry Su Yu, I have to bring you back to the station."

"Don't worry about it. Let's go."

Su Yu knew that it was pointless to fight. He followed Gao Ran into the police car compliantly and headed to the police station.

In the middle of the silent night, the media broke major news, once again.

Tang Chuan and Wei Liao almost peed their pants at the sight of the news.

Su Yu wasn't there for long… how could he hurt someone? Did he get into a fight?

As Huo Mian took off her face mask and got ready for bed, two things ringed in her mind.

Firstly, the hospital had called to tell her about Liu Ze's serious injury and that he was being rescued.

Secondly, Gao Ran had called to inform her about Su Yu's arrest. He told her that the whole thing was fishy and asked her to head to South Side to ask Liu Ze about what had happened when he was awake.

Huo Mian couldn't sleep anymore. She got up, grabbed the closest piece of clothing she could find, and headed out… She ran out… just in time to bump into Qin Chu, who had returned home late.

"It's so late. Where are you going?" Qin Chu looked at Huo Mian, his tone cold.
