"Why can't you just leave Mian alone!" Su Yu bellowed; he was fighting the urge to tear Huo Siqian up.

"What an interesting question, President Su. You can't seem to leave Mian alone either. Are you really more noble than I am?"

"We're different!" Su Yu roared.

"Don't kid yourself. We're the same. Don't you want Mian for yourself? Don't you want to be with her forever?"

"I…" Su Yu froze. Yes, he was madly in love with Huo Mian; it would be a lie if he said he didn't want to spend the rest of his life with her. After all, love was the most selfish thing that existed in this world, or else his heart wouldn't be in pain whenever he saw Huo Mian and Qin Chu together.

He had been brainwashing himself not to prey on what wasn't his. However, he couldn't control his feelings. Therefore, Huo Siqian was right on point; he really did punch Su Yu where it hurt.

"What if Mian approaches me and chooses me?" Huo Siqian asked.

"Why would I? President Su, you're too brave for me to scare. Let me say this though… if one day Mian voluntarily chooses me, you better not pick on me."

"President Su, are you having dinner at your parents'? I can take the cab home," An said as he pulled on Su Yu's car door.

"It's fine, come with me."

Then, Su Yu made a U-turn and headed back to the Su Family mansion.

"You're home, Young Master," the maid greeted Su Yu politely as he walked through the door.
