"Isn't the entire company talking about it anyway? Truth be told, I was happy to be hired by this company since, after all, it's an internal business empire. "Miss Bella, you're wrong. I was fired fifteen minutes ago and therefore am not an employee of your company anymore. I can say whatever I want about this company now. This place sucks, and I'll find something better somewhere else." Then, she collected all her belongings and stormed out without looking back.

"She's… really a lot like my sister," Zhixin said, flabbergasted by what he just saw.

"No, she isn't. Huo Mian would never act so rashly," Bella analyzed calmly.

To everyone's surprise, Qin Chu didn't say anything or get mad. Rather, he left the company with his head down.

Su Yu's spirits were low as he left the company that evening. He was debating whether to go to his parent's home for dinner or go back to his own mansion when… he almost ran a red light.

He quickly stepped on the brake and his car came to an immediate halt. Then, he saw a flash of red appear before his eyes.

"Didn't you see the red light? God, today's such an unlucky day," Zhang Manlin complained.

Su Yu was shocked to see the woman standing outside his car. "Mi…" He thought it was Huo Mian but just as the word 'Mian' was coming out of his mouth, the woman looked up.

She wasn't Huo Mian, but she really did look like her. Her posture, her figure, her looks, and even her hairstyle looked like a younger version of Huo Mian.

The drivers behind Su Yu began blasting their horns at him, but he had no intention of leaving.

"You…" Su Yu was just about to say something when the woman looked down at the rim of her pants. "Don't worry, I'm not injured so I won't try to dupe you out of money. My jeans are a bit ripped, but whatever, I will just go home and fix it myself."

Then, she jaywalked away while talking to herself…

It wasn't until she left did Su Yu come back to his senses; he had a weird feeling about what just happened, so he couldn't help but send Huo Mian a WeChat message.

"Where did you see her? Is she pretty?" Huo Mian ate an apple as she replied to Su Yu.

"How should I put this… she is really similar to you in so many ways, it's weird… Mian, I think something fishy's going on, you should be careful."

"Mhm, don't worry, I'm fine." Huo Mian nodded. The truth was, she wasn't really worried.

At this time, Qin Chu walked in through the front door looking exhausted.

Huo Mian got up and took his briefcase. "You're home."

"Daddy, you seem to be in a bad mood… your face is really ugly." Little Bean immediately noticed that something was wrong.

"Mian, come upstairs with me, I need to talk to you."

Qin Chu rarely talked to Huo Mian in such a formal manner so as soon as he did, she realized the severity of the situation.
